My experience today at Western dental was amazing amazing. I meant a young men. I forgot his name but he was amazing and he made me feel so comfortable he made me feel like I had my smile back. And everyone worked there was amazing the doctor was thorough and point blank Ill be going back!

I got my braces removed today, Happy with the whole experience! The Ortho team was excellent and happy with the results! David, Jessica and Dr.Fay were amazing for my final visit. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone wanting to get braces.

Today I spent 5 hours in total, half of my day to deal with a simple extraction. 3 hours waiting for the dentist to see me. I waited for 1:30 with the first dentist that didn’t have experience with an extraction like mine, and another 1:30 waiting for the other dentist that was very busy treating other patients. After all that I had to go get my medication… Another 2 hours to get help with the medical prescription that no one could read due to the bad writing from the dentist. I called the 24 hours assistance because I’m in pain, swollen, and need medication against infection. GUESS WHAT??? The doctor that spoke to me was “not licensed” to provide me with one of the medications I need, the other one would be IBUPROFEN, which anyone can get at SAFEWAY…Im very sad for the neglect of the human being that this company has. The lack of preparation of the staff, everything is a mess! The flawed system does not align schedules with patient information.Dentists dont know what they are going to do, it looks like a circus! This company must have an inspection by the health and national ethics institutions.We cannot suffer from the incompetence of people who are unconcerned about the health and well-being of their patients.I was patient until today, I hope I never have to go back and come across that dark place.I spoke with the manager and her supervisor Oscar, I see that they are nice people and they are trying their best, but they need to get that place together, it can keep it like that!

Don’t go to this location in mission st OMG wait time in horrible and when they take you to see the doctor after the X-rays and consultation is even worse I never been to a dentist that you can tell they only care about money there this girl that she didn’t even introduce her self who talk about treatment and financial no consideration for the patient her explanation I feel that it was either I take the cost or I can leave when she start explaining she looks so nice but when I start asking more questions in regards to what I was going to paid she change her voice tone and make me feel like if I don’t agree what she was offering to me something worse will happen to me very disappointed if there’s a manager in that office it should pay more attention of how this employee is talking to patient …..

When ever I go here it’s a long wait but when I know Tania is helping me I actually like it because I know she will answer all my questions especially with the insurance information and she is very knowledgeable.

Quality work with friendly and professional people. I got set up today by an RDA by the name of Jessica who was super friendly and professional. Im very happy with my visit and look forward to coming back when I need to.

Prepare to be here all day!I had an appointment at 12, didnt get called back until 1:50, then sat in the chair until about 3:40, just to be out 10 minutes after actually seeing the doctor.This is the most unorganized dentist office I have ever been to.I had to go accross town because by the time I got out, most of the pharmacies were closing.If you dont want to wait 4 hours for a 15 minute operation, go anywhere else. I was there the previous day and it was the same story.

Today visit was great . I did my crown prep and cleaning . I’m so happy they did very good job and Jessica RDA was so good and profesional very good manners. I recommend this office for dental treatments. 👍👍👍👍

Worst dental experience, they are all very unprofessional. I made an appointment for 10am for a cleaning and I waited 4 hours just to leave with just a x-ray. They are never on time!!! I made an appointment again for the next day for 12pm (for a cleaning because they didn’t do it the first time I went) I showed up & they said I have to wait even more hours even though I had an appointment. I just canceled & left, I will not be coming back. I DO NOT recommend at all. The workers aren’t helpful at all either.

AVOID. AVOID. AVOID. Absolute worst service Ive ever received. Rude nurses, clueless assistants. Waited nearly 1.5 hours AFTER the scheduled appointment time just to get inside. If you have Medi-Cal, be prepared to pay up front, and hope costs are covered (something they should tell you prior to coming in, but dont). Be careful of hidden charges, and the arbitration clause they make you sign. Poor service, questionable practices, seemingly overworked and stressed doctors. Save your peace of mind and go somewhere else. Those who are giving this place good reviews have clearly never been to a competent dental office with caring staff or good doctors. Seems the owner takes negative reviews and throws them away. Avoid this dental office and find literally anywhere else.-5 stars.

I do not recommend at all unless you want to wait for hours. I had an appointment at 9am, I got here at 8:40am and it is 10am right now and I am still waiting an hour and 20 minutes after and who knows how much longer I have to wait. What is the reason of having an appointment if you’re not going to get helped at the time of your appointment?? They should tell you you have to wait hours even though you schedule an appointmentWhy do they even schedule so much appointments if they don’t have the room or staff capacity to help people when they are supposed to be helped. People are forced to sit on the stairs because there is not enough chairs for everyone to wait for hours.

The wait wasnt that bad but after my x-rays were done I was suppose to wait and talk to someone about my results. I was getting tired of standing outside so I left. Didnt even talk to anyone. I hope they call me back cuz I really need to fix my teeth. Thanks.

If I could give zero star and still be able to post a review, I would. They are here to rob your money. DO NOT GO HERE. It was my first ever visit to a dentist office. I had an insurance and general cleaning was covered by it. That was the reason why I went to them but these people did general cleaning and charged me for the deep cleaning which i did not ask. I did the cleaning thinking i was being covered by my insurance. These people DID NOT explain upfront about the service cost. They made me pay $345 up front saying it was deep cleaning. After a week they sent me so many different bills for the services that they did not even perform. All the charges and bills they sent me was not EXPLAINED to me at all. I tried to call them more than 100 times to ask and understand the charges but they did not pick up at all. I talked to the corporate office and representatives there tried to contact them as well but they could not get a hold the office.Corporate office said they filed a complaint against them and I will get called back but that NEVER happened. This kept going for weeks. After two weeks, a guy named JONATHAN called me from finance department and yelled at me for the extra $645. I tried to understand the charge and explained him how I have not been able to reach out to the customer service people but he started yelling as I owed him money. I HAVE NEVER SEEN THIS KIND OF UNETHICAL CUSTOMER SERVICE. These people are very rude and will rob people. PLEASE DO NOT GO TO THEM.

Horrible service. My mom who is almost 80 years old, with very bad pain in her legs because of her medical conditions, had to wait for more that 2 hours and nobody provided any updates on waiting time. Office was full of people which is not safe under Covids restrictions. I asked the lady in the front desk why it is happening and she said that waiting for an extensive period of time is normal that some time people have to wait 4-5 hours before they can be seen by the doctor. Definitely this is not a place you want to be . I got my papers and left the office. By the way there is a big sign that said NO RESROOMS available.

Ortho is never open. I came 7 times in the past 2 months to pick up my retainers and majority of the time i’m waiting a long period of time to even talk to the people at the front desk. Once I do get to speak with them they always tell me ortho is closed and to come back another day and when I do they say the same thing again. They set me up 2 appointments and I came and they said I never had an appointment, even when I showed my appointment card so they had to reschedule me both times. Overall just a terrible dentist. Over the years it just went completely down.

Though few interactions are faultless, my overall thoughts on Western Dental and Orthodontist are without a doubt, some of the most pleasant people ever, in a Dental Office. Also the Doctors, Medical Staff, and Administration folks are all very competent. A special thanks to the Doctors, theyve exceeded, all of my expectations.

Some of the staff are friendly. But the wait is atrocious. I had an appointment at 12PM just as a followup to check how my mouth is healing after a wisdom tooth removal. Its now 2PM and Im still waiting. About 1 hour just standing in line OUTSIDE and another hour waiting for for them call me.Ive never had to wait this long for any dental work. This is a dental office, not the DMV.

Tania your coordinator was so helpful in explaining to me the needed forms to be filled out snd patient to assist me to make it easier for me, she is so friendly and offering any help .

If I could give 1 star I would. If you are looking to get treatment do not go to the San Francisco office this is the worst office ever. They are literally closed most of the time and on google it says they are open but they are not. Its so hard to get an appointment they will give you one months away and you are forced to only go to that office if you get braces. It is not fair that I have to call of work to get an appointment or wait months for something that needs to get treated right away.

I went in for a deep cleaning. I felt very comfortable in spite of a difficult procedure.

The worse dental service in San Francisco. The receptionist is so rude they charged me a huge amount only for a deep cleaning. they didn’t verify my insurance and the receptionist didn’t want to give a referral to go to another dentist I’m still waiting for their call. My appointment was a 12:00 and they received me at 3:00 o clock two hours waiting.

The staff was rather unfriendly, however there was a very large amount of customers at the time so perhaps they were just overwhelmed. The lobby was not suited for the amount of people and there were only like three or four chairs, and probably 15 people. They treated my girlfriend fairly disrespectfully she has some mental health problems so she can be hard to deal with but I found it unreasonable the way they treated her. I was not actually able to see the dentist because my insurance was not active so outside of actually receiving the services I would give them about a 3 out of 5 stars

Ive been going to Western Dental for over a year for regular cleanings and wisdom teeth removal. Oscar, David, and Dr. Ho are always very professional and patient in answering my questions. Would highly recommend.

I have given up on this place. 3x Ive come for appointment and 3x there has been some reason Ive been prevented from even getting through the waiting room. The level of disorganization and crowded delays (1.5hrs!) is inexcusable for a medical office. Find somewhere else for your business.

I had an appt. Scheduled waited over a month. Came in on April 28, 2021 for cleaning and fillings. They asked me if I can reschedule, I told them no, I waited long enough. When taken to the back they said they were only doing cleaning. I was very upset and asked why they cant do everything we scheduled for and the dentist says too bad. I dont know why but we are not. These people here dont know what they are doing. They need to fire the rude latina receptionist and the incompetent dentist.

I went Western Dental & Orthodontics the first time I am impress the welcome with the kindness from the front door ( Guard ) to the doctor and everyone in the between. I give only 4 stars because I have to wait long time. I think there are many people ahead of me.

I just got a blonde assistant so rude. She just told me that I have to pay a bunch of money and dont even explained the costs. She even said if I wanted to start treatment. Of course I dont. Not ever with western dental. I keep coming here for either 3 hours waiting or no wait and 15 min appointment just for x-rays, just for costs. And they dont even take the time to explain what I need to be done or how I can start. Just pay everything. Come on that is not way to treat people. Worst service ever

The only bad thing on this clinic was that the waiting time in line you have outside but I guess their service was not bad at all because they assure you that the procedures will be explained and understood thats why I gave four stars.

This isnt the lap of luxury in dental care. It has a bit of Walmart feel to dental. It was crowded, loud, and like a factory for patients. They take all insurance types and are a national chain, so take that into consideration when picking this spot. It took forever sitting in a chair waiting for a doctor to see me. Ive never had it take over 60 mins for a standard non-issue cleaning, doctor visit, and x-rays. As of April 2021, they charge you $10 PPE fee thats out of pocket which is absurd. It should be put into their costs and billed to insurance.All in all, if you can go somewhere, then do it.

Everyone is very kind i got my braces with them, everytime I have an appointment at a certain time i get there early sometimes, and I get admitted as I get there, it doesnt take long for the service Im in and out in no time thank you for your work awesome people and the management there runs smooth.

They are crooks in my eyes. Sent me away because I have Medi Cal or Denti Cal. I guess I know that they are like poor people insurance but then why do they advertise that they proudly accept those insurances.

I have been to this clinic several times for cleaning and dental care, they do a good job.

I visited today and it was chaotic and unsanitized. The doctors had so many patients that no one barely gave me any attentions. I sat on chairs waited for 2 hours without knowing the reasons. Also, I had no clues if they disinfected the equipments or not after the patient in front of me. I felt extremely insecure, especially during this covid time. After my appointment, I became very mad just thinking through the experience. I feel I put myself in danger by going there.

They do not honor your time.I am waiting outside the office for an appointment that started 30 minutes ago. The receptionist just told me I’m 5th in line. I’m not sure what that means when my appointment was at 11am... it’s now 11:30am... 5th in line for what? That’s not how appointments work.This is the third time this month I’m left waiting well past my appointment start time- and had to call my boss. This is the second time Western Dental was LATE enough to my appointment that I actually missed my last half of work day! I believe Western Dental owes me at this point. My time is valuable. You have to wait outside. No shade. No seats. Busy street with homeless people panhandling and lingering around. The line to get in is under a pigeons home so they are constantly popping on the waiting line. Wait time over a half hour after appt time. Get another dentist if you can!!!

My insurance company dropped me because I had to file a complaint against this company. They screwed up my dentures I waited for almost 10 months hoping that I would be able to eat a real meal. When I finally got my dentures they were way to big and they didnt even offer as much as we can fix them. Not even a We are sorry Nothing now I have a set of dentures that I can not use.And Im now only able to eat soft foods that I canmash with my gums. They have destroyed my dreams of being able to go out into public and not be embarrassed or take so long to eat a meal.I have tried getting help with this but all I grt is hung up on and told that I have to Wait 5 years before I can even try to get my dentures again.

Well today I had a tooth to be extracted, as for my experience I know sometimes Western Dentals experience can be overwhelming with the waiting, but today it went so smoothly and the Dr. Emami was great...not mean as some dentists can be, he treated me with good care, he explained the whole procedure made sure i was comfy and numb, he saved me $500+ on what i wouldve paid to be sedated, and my tooth came up quickly in seconds when he said he wanted to see if the numbing had worked, his techniques worked so good and like I said he was very nice and helpful and so were his staff, today I can say that Western Dental made me smile. Thank you.

Terrible service. People working there made fun of me when I didn’t know where to go. I got braces here and they haven’t been placed in right. I’ve had the same bracket fall out multiple times even after being careful with what I eat.

This place is horrible. If I could give negative 5 stars I would. I’ve twice had to wait over two hours for a scheduled appointment time. Each time I’ve come in they over quote me on treatments I do not need and we’re not included as the reason I came into the office in the first place. This office exists to exploit its patients for as much money as possible. I made clear that I only want to address certain issues and they still presented me with a plan that was more than $1,100 over the cost of the thing I actually needed which was only $40 (forty dollars)on the estimate. THIS DENTAL OFFICE SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN.

My experience was good except for the person that gave me the rinse said to spit it in the bathroom but ignored me when I asked where the bathroom was. I wound up spitting it on the floor. I don’t know why they didn’t point out the bathroom to me.

I wish I could give them NO STARS!!!This is, by far the worst dental office I have ever visited in my life.I went for a cleaning, and the dentist pushed really hard to get their periodontal treatment. She was rather rude and dismissed my concerns about dentists in general! Once I purchased their products I was supposed to get the tray after 3 weeks, 2 months later I had to visit their office since nobody seems to know how to answer their bloody phone! To learn that they dont have a return policy. Also, the (Asian) woman on their front desk was rude and didnt even try to listen to my concerns.In terms of the cleaning... My toothbrush does a better job!All I can say is that Western Dental & Orthodontics is the most thieving, scheming, incompetent and corrupt dental office I have ever visited!I was supposed to get an extraction and two implants, but I would take my business elsewhere! Its their loss!

If I can give 0 star I would! I had an 11:30am appointment and I was there until 3pm waiting, yes waiting for a teeth clean. I waited 4 hours because our time is not important, like we dont have jobs to do. In the 4hr of waiting, I found that staffs gossiping is waaaay more important, theyll purposely carry on a full conversation in front of waiting oncoming patient and let phone calls go straight to voice mail. Oh and covid is a joke to them, because no cleaning or sanitizing was done at all in those 4 hours I was there despite an on going stream of patients. Plus parking there is metered parking and youd have to move it every 2 hours, seems harmless until you found yourself being in that place for waaaaaaaaaaay longer than necessary. I needed a teeth cleaning for a reason, but instead of cleaning my teeth, which is a normal annual procedure, they told me to buy a $850 dollar home treatment. Like dentistry isnt a thing anymore. Plus the kit legit consists of a piece of plastic and some fluoride paste. Im changing dentist, take my recommendation and stay away fromt his location!

The other one star reviews are spot on. Exact same story happened to me. I scheduled months in advance for a 12:30 appointment. By 1:15 I still didnt even get CHECKED IN! I filled out paperwork, waited until about 1:45 when I had xrays taken. Then put in a chair to wait more... about 2:30 I thought finally this must be my cleaning. Nope, just a periodontal check, then just left there indefinitely with no updates or plan or names or understanding what was going on. I asked people in the hallway what was going on, they said I need to wait for the finance person to talk to me? (What?) So another HOUR later of doing nothing, around 4pm, I talk to the finance person who says I have a copay. Wow. That was the update? Ok, so when is my cleaning? Still didnt know when?! Nope. I walked out. Terrible business structure. Get organized. Peoples time is not free and should not be treated as such.

Doctor was very professional. He explained the whole procedure beforehand. Workmanship was top notch.

I’ve been calling for days to get a rush on my prescription due to me getting my teeth pulled NO ANSWER. The phone rings straight through. Then the orthodontist only prescribed me amoxicillin no pain medication.

This location is shady at best. If your teeth are in relatively good shape go somewhere else if you can afford to. The dentists this place employs are on the low rung. But as usual you get what you pay for. I just scrolled down the rating list. Even that is BS. A ton of 1*.

I have been here three times now and have yet to be seen. Each time I have almost waited 2 hrs. Today I was there and every patient in the waiting room was dissatisfied for similar reasons. I would not recommend wasting your time here.

I had an appointment at 10 and had to wait and stand for 3 hours. the service here is bad from my experience. this was my first time here and my dentist had me waiting for 30 mins just for him to tell me he has to get my xray and leave again for another hour or hour and a half. i do not recommend to this place.

Terrible place. Average waiting time is between 2-3 hours. Even after checking in, they will have you waiting in the chair. Dentists dont explain anything and just keep going from one patient to another. Avoid this place if you can, its a scam.

Terrible service! appointment system is useless. have to wait 2 hours before you get the service. the hygienist came with super fake friendly greeting (checking up less than 10 minutes and giving over $3000 estimate out of copay, no root canals or even fillings, have no idea what shes talking about. a lot of not friendly words, that patient should deserve better. what the F) my tooth are basically okay, no missing or anything. dont waste your time coming to this place.

This is the most unprofessional dental office. If you schedule an appointment be prepared to wait for 2-3 hours to be seen even though you have an appointment. They schedule so many people for the same time and it is not worth wasting your time. The staff have no remorse to make you wait hours pre-covid time and its even worse now with covid because they make you wait outside for that long. They told me there were no doctors in so I would have to reschedule or wait until the doctors decided to show up. Horrible because even when the doctors are there they only check your teeth for 10 minutes or less.

They have been very hospitable and customer service driven at all points of contact. The aesthetic of the lobby could be more welcoming but the service has been pleasant dental experiences.

Slow worst dental office i ever been too im better of going to mexico and getting my teeth cured there this was such a disappointment i felt robbed i sat in a chair for hours for nothing even with an existing appointment i left they where taking to long i hate this place so much

All the bad reviews are true.I arrive on time for my appointment. They made me wait an hour in the waiting area before taking me inside. After sitting in the patient chair for a good 20 minutes, I asked where the doctor was. They told me she was still on lunch. Why schedule me during the doctors lunch time?When the doctor finally arrived, she poked around my teeth for a bit and then said I had to do a deep cleaning. I get my teeth regularly cleaned and never had to do a deep cleaning. Then they tried to sell me some expensive treatment plan for like $1500 out of my own pocket. I politely declined and walked out.This place is a big waste of time.
