Flossing my teeth on the weekend I popped a sliver of an old filling out. I wasnt in any pain, but I didnt want it to go there so I left a message for DR Katzs Team. They called me first thing Monday morning and accommodated me same day with a quick exam & clean out of my filling that now requires a crown. I was then scheduled to come back the following Monday to prep for my crown but I didnt have childcare. Their amazing Team said to bring them on in with me as the receptionists daughter would also be there. They kept my kids occupied and didnt seem to mind the interruptions when my kids needed me. My visit was quick and painless in more ways than one and my temporary is still holding strong until my next visit in a few days.Great dental care, team and I feel like family!

If you need dental repair work, you probably will not find a better dentist this side of the Mississippi than Dr. Jeff Katz. His assistants are also very knowledgeable and helpful in many ways. Dr. Katz is extraordinary. I have been seeing him since 1990 and his expert care has helped me maintain my oral health. Hes a great dentist and I should know dentists always scared me until I sat in his chair 30 years ago. When I walked into Jackson Sq Dentistry I was immediately at ease! The staff is so nice and the space is lovely - classic exposed brick, modest decor and great lighting. The woman at the front desk knew it was me when I walked in the door. She took my temperature and checked my blood oxygen levels to make sure I was healthy. Everyone was wearing masks. The X-rays were painless - something I DREAD - but the technician who helped me was super patient and quick! Then, Dr. Katz. What a nice guy! For the first time in my life, he told me I didnt really need anything! A previous dentist kept telling me I needed a filling but for some reason it just didnt sit right with me. Dr. Katz was like no, you dont need a filling. Why other dentists try to make you do unneeded treatment is beyond me (I get it $$ but just seems so beyond the oath) and how can we ever trust that we actually do need anything? Anyway, Dr. Katz completely earned my trust after trying three other dentists since Ive live in San Francisco. I HIGHLY recommend him and all the technicians and staff at JSD!

Absolutely the best dentist Ive ever had. From their willingness to come to work to replace a broken crown on a Saturday before I flew out of town, to their kindness to my daughters on their first visit to a grownup dentist. Im with them for the long haul. they are amazing. Also the quality is fantastic - other dentist have noticed..

I cant say enough great things about Dr. Katz and his amazing staff. What I can say is that I have never liked the dentist (anxiety, bad experiences, maybe my childhood dentist didnt have a treasure chest...) This is the place for all dentistry. Ive done Invisaline, had fillings replaced, picked up whitening gel, and have all my regular cleanings here. The staff are incredibly professional, helpful and friendly. The offices are welcoming and warm with best-in-class equipment. I highly recommend.

Great dentist with a high tech office. Dr. Katz believes in saving as much enamel as possible...you arent going to grow more so it makes sense. Hell go to the trouble of keeping part of your tooth by creating a partial crown when other dentists might just give you a complete crown.
