Sam is the best nail artist I have ever come across. My nails have never looked this good in acrylic. I have no tips. These are my nails nicely shaped and filed under a thin layer of acrylic. He is so thorough and detail oriented. It is definitely worth paying a little more because he cares a lot about giving you exactly what you want. I had a terrible powder dip job on my nails and thats what brought me in here. He had no trouble fixing it and turning it into this! This is exactly what the picture looks like that I showed him. His sister works at the front desk and she was so sweet and helpful about getting me in there and fixing my thick blobs. lol. Im very happy with my nails and will only see Sam from now on.

Out of every nail salon Ive ever been to, this was the WORST quality. In addition it was the MOST Ive ever paid for a full set. It was 70$ for the basic, shape and wasnt even gel. There was no polish at all. It was just colored powder. For that price it was supposed to be 40$. with that being said I also got a design on each hand. On their menu 2 designs=5$. So it shouldve just been an extra 5 dollars. 10 dollars at MOST. But instead I was charged an extra 30$ for a design that was lop-sided, messy and just not good at all. I will say though that the man that did them tried his best. But I had a feeling either he was new at this or not a professional because he didnt want to do it when I asked him and tried to get me to settle for some butterfly stickers. Really?? Stickers??? Not only that, the acrylic was piled on THICK, and it was the most painful manicure Ive ever gotten. Overall, it was a horrible experience and I ended up crying in my car for 20 minutes afterword. See the attached picture for what I wanted and a picture of the design that was apparently worth 30$!! I think not:( and the thickness of the nail. No Polish, no special shape or length. I was taken advantage of and completely do not recommend, especially for a college student right on money.

Proprietor ignores anyone who isn’t a regular, and I waited longer than the quoted 15 minutes while other people who arrived after me were seen right away (they may have had appointments and I did not). My technician was sweet but I was blindsided by the $5 charge to remove my gel manicure for a regular one. That really turned me off. Finally, I realized when I was leaving that I didn’t see a single business license posted, which is usually the first thing I look for. Again, they LOOK clean and fancy, but unless you’re a regular or getting an expensive service, you are barely greeted.

AVOID WENDY!!! Can you imagine I just did the manicure yesterday? She didn’t even do the basic trimming. She also cut my middle finger. She rush through it and didn’t understand what I was saying. I still paid the money but I didn’t want to. This is the worst manicure experience ever! I would not recommend this place! Just a waste of my money and my time!

TERRIBLE MANICURE!Be ware they will only put effort on their work if your paying big bucks. I wanted a regular manicure since I work in health care. The woman that did my manicure was in a rush and wasn’t doing her work right. I had to point out cuticle she was leaving behind. Then she applied a clear coat horribly. Now my cuticles look worse than ever. Very dissapointed!!

The techs dont really listen. I asked for French tips. They couldnt do exactly what I wanted and thats fine. So the tech puts this white powder all over my nails. I told her I wanted French tips. She said they cant do that.I didnt have time to change everything. And its was expensive

I have been going here for many years. I moved to orange county therefore I found a place closer for convenience. Which I had been happy at but I am back as a regular! I still live in orange county so that says a lot about this place! I have always had a great experience with Kathy! I have seen Bebe a couple times when Kathy wasnt available and I was pleased with her as well! I have nothing but good things to say about this place! I must say I was very happy for them when they upgraded to a bigger place! Everyone here seems to be very pleasant, artistic and happy 😊

Beautiful nail salon!! Owner is very friendly and makes you feel vauled as a customer, but the reason we love this salon is because of Sam. Hes been able to do every design my daughter and I have asked for and they always turn out perfect!!

Grace was AMAZING! Grace did the makeup for my 5 bridesmaids, Mom and MIL and everyone looked so beautiful! The foundation colors matched well and the eye makeup and lashes looked perfect! Grace was on time, very professional and made you feel comfortable and at ease! Thank you Grace!

Kevin and Mia used dipping powder for our nails. My daughter’s reward for great academic achievement during distance learning was her first time at the salon. We had to have them short and they turned out perfect!

Lyly did an amazing job. i got a fill with gel and she took her time to reshape my nails from my last fill, which i wasn’t super happy with. she transformed my nails and they’re perfect now! definitely come here and ask for her if you want someone who takes their time and pays such close attention to detail. $40 for a fill w/ gel is super reasonable for me, every detail matters!

My mom has been a customer for a very long time and I had my nails done by Mia for my wedding and they were wonderful and everything I could have hoped for!!!

The tech that served me did a very poor job I took cuticle clippers myself and finished my big toes then filed all my toes when I got home

They put acrylic on top of my nails that had dip on them which I specifically repeated a million times that I don’t want acrylic on my nails. They told me it was a liquid dip that they used which was a lie!! I believed them because i was in town visiting and don’t know how things are done in SD. Big mistake!! My natural nails are now breaking and there is damage to my nail bed. Won’t ever go back here when visiting SD and definitely do not recommend. Bad business practice to lie to your customers just to get money out of them.

I went to this salon based on the great reviews they had. I got a pedicure and a gel manicure, the technician that did my pedicure was giving me really bad attitude and when she was finished asked me to leave even though my nails were not dry. I still gave her a good tip because I always do regardless of how bad the service is. Weeks later after I took my nail polish I discovered I had contracted a fungul Infection on my toe nails, I figured this happened because they cut the cuticles on the sides and I bled. This concludes they dont disinfect any of the tools they used or the lady that did my pedicure didnt care to do the proper sanitization. My toe nails started to get yellow and fragile until and now I have to gets meds to cure my fungi infection, the salon has not bothered to contact me or offer any type of help. Please be aware of this if you go to this salon and they cut your cuticles or you bleed some how, this is a really bad situation.

The best Ive ever gone to. And theyre still on after 4 weeks ( well my left anyway). But I work and do alot with my hands and theyre still holding up well. Definitely Worth the money. Thank you Sam!

Switched to Grace for lashes, she is the best. No pain, they stay on much longer and its been about a week and 1/2 later. She is kind and has a much lighter touch. Her technique is very professional and informative. I have had no wayward lashes that mess with your eyes. She even gave me instructions and a care package that included cleaner and a brush plus a spoolie that has a cover. Her instruction card has helped me a lot.

The best place in San Diego. If it was possible I would give them a higher star rating such as 1000/100. The owner gives the best customer services, the place is very fancy, the prices are reasonable. All of the staff have more than 10 years of experience which means that theyre experienced. I had my nails done by Holly and I really would like to thank her so much for the amazing job that she did for me. This was the only time in my life I was satisfied with getting my nails done. I highly recommend this place.

Love the new location. The salon is gorgeous. The employees are happy and friendly. Did a full spa day today with Holly and she did a great job. Even though it was busy she focused on me while we were together. Sometimes you feel like you get rushed out when salons are busy, but not here!

This salon Finesse is very professional and friendly. My technician actually shaped my nails so they all matched each other. The price for deep powder or powder gel is $40 plus tip. Considering the skill involved, its a good price. 7 or 8 technicians have skill at this shop to use deep powder expertly. If you want your nails to last 3 or 4 weeks come to Finesse.

Finesse Nails moved a bit over and removed everything! It looks great!Very clean and tidy. I take my Alzimers Mom here and they treat her wonderful. I have been bringing her to Finesse Nails for about 5 months now and the ladies have developed a great rapport with her. They always greet her and always say goodbye and look forward to seeing her again.

Currently sitting in the chair getting the Deluxe pedicure with callus treatment. Helen is incredible! Every time I come here I have a wonderful experience. Everyone is very friendly and they do an exceptional job. I would highly recommend this place to everyone!

Go early in the day. Good pedicures, and manicures but dont get both at the same time. They rush things and quality is affected at the end of the day. Overall I like this place, its got a good atmosphere and they give you wine, coffee or water if you ask for it. Get the wine! ♡

I tried this salon 3 times before deciding I should not go back. The first time my nails all bubbles over. I let them know what happened and they still charged me full price the next time for my nails. This time I wanted one nail with stripes and they did them completely crooked and super fat. The last time I went my nails got done so quickly and completely crooked. Everyone inside is super kind... but not enough for me to go back.

I had a really great manicure and pedicure. The cuticle and skin treatment were wonderful. The only downside was the polish they have (while caps on the left, not Essie/OPI) isnt the best quality and started peeling off of my nails two days after. I would go again but bring my own polish if I didnt want it to peel/chip.

Thi is so sweet. Excited I found a new nail salon by my house. I’m pretty picky I normally drive out of my way to nail lounge in La Jolla but this salon is fairly priced and does a really great job. Cute and clean location.

This place has great customer service! They were all very friendly. It was a breath of fresh air compared to other locations Ive been to. This place is a must go!They are a bit pricey but it all depends on what you get like most places.

On the expensive side, but they have a wine bar so who cares? Had a friend who recently worked there (Aug. 2019) and the girls dont use separate wooden sticks when waxing, but other than that Ive never had a cleanliness issue. Tip in cash because my friend said they charge the girls to cash their tips out early.

I recently had a very good pedicure from H at Finesse Nails. She is a good technician and Ive returned now a few times for both pedicures and gel manicures. Unfortunately, Im writing more about business practices and customer management here.I called and made an appointment to come in, asking for 6:00 after my work. I did inquire if that was too late for H and she asked if I could come in earlier. I said I would do my best to be there by 5:30 if possible. (This meant I would leave work early). So I did, and arrived at the salon at 5:35.I had to wait for H, and was serviced by another technician to remove my existing gels. Fine in theory, but this meant I wasnt actually being serviced by H until 5:45-5:50!Once H began work on me it was going well, until towards the end when it was clear that the customer she had been working on when I arrived was waiting for H to do one more thing to her nails. And, I hear that apparently the customer had been a last minute or walk in, as she apologized to H for coming in like that. (Does this mean she was given part of my appointment time?)I was having H finish the French part of my manicure and had asked for her to make the French part larger, or a thicker smile. She was rushing so she could return to attend to the earlier customer, and I felt nervous and rushed myself. The end result I did not receive what I wanted, but got an additional coat of French, rather than a larger, thicker smile. I specifically said I wanted to have her cover more of the nail with the French portion. I did not need more thickness in polish! H then had another technician finish me up with last filing, massage, etc. so she could attend to the waiting customer.My feeling is that when a person calls and makes an appointment and comes in (& leaving work early to boot!), she should be attended to and given that entire time for her service. The customer should not suffer or feel rushed due to another customers demands, most especially when they were apparently a walk in/last minute appearance!Again, I feel that H is a great technician and does a superior job, but I do feel this management of customers that have made a specific appointment (and gone out of their way to make it in earlier than first requested) should be given their entire time, with focus.

Horrible customer service,the owner, and her technicians sit by and talk their language about you while you spend your hard earned money. My daughter was cut badly due to the worker not paying attention,and rushing. My daughter was in pain,and they covered her bleeding nail with another tip. In addition the technician that did my pedicure was laughing at my ingrown nail,and called her friend over to make fun of it while I was sitting on the chair. The owner is no better she gossips about her customers that are patronizing her salon. My nails are already chipping after only one day. Go somewhere else,and get treated with dignity. Dont be fooled by the smiling faces. Shame on you!

I dont drive, this is how you know I love this place. Start at noon by bus,trolley, bus, get there about 2:45. Hour for my nails, then do it in reverse to get home. Worth the trip.
