I typically go to a different spa but wanted to give Apple Nails a try after recommendations and seeing their prices. I made an appointment the evening prior for a morning slot. They were ready for my appointment right away but they seemed to accommodate walk ins well. Prices are very fair, for the same set I would have paid almost double elsewhere because of the art. Mimi took her time to make sure the nail art was perfect! Already have ideas for my next 3 fills so I will definitely be back to see Mimi!

Lynn did an absolutely amazing job on my nails this morning! I came in with some of the worst acrylic nails that I had done earlier this week (from a different shop) and Lynn knew exactly what to do to fix them... in less than an hour! Now my nails are gorgeous and if i could give her 10 stars I would! Thank you!

Do not go here if you care about nail health.Got my nails done 1 week ago and after 1 day I started getting cracks on the dip powder. Now one is chipped and all except 3 nails have cracks and are loose. Not to mention that I walked in with acrylics and their removal process was so painful it felt like they ripped off my own finger nails. Ive never in 15 years had such a poor experience. I am literally in pain because of what they did to my nails.

The Green Tea Pedicure was AMAZING!! She massaged my feet and legs for 30 min using sea salts and lotions. I would 100% go back for the pedicure

!ALRET! NO TO VERY LITTLE OF PRACTICE OF COVID-19! NO SOCIAL DISTANCING, NO CLEANING EFFECTIVELY, AND GLASS DIRTY! I am pregnant and had a customer sat next to me, felt very uncomfortable. Other salons have managed to separate customers to be distant and always clean throughly after finishing service with customers.I made sure to arrive early as possible to avoid traffic or rush hour, the place was busy but not packed. I have called ahead of time to ask for pricing for a manicure powder dip color. An older women with glasses nail technician helped me, she was nice. Everything is going okay, but I noticed she began to rush through the powder dipping, dipped my nails in uneven powder, very rushing through the process, I did not understand why? (I really wanted to ask her why she was rushing?!). The place was not packed and there were other nail technicians available too.... She rushed through my nails that miss some to clean my cuticles and clean the rest of the powder/glitter of my hands. She didnt even bother to fix the sides of my nails, just super sloppy rush work. I kept taking my time to look at my nail when she would finish with one hand and I guess my actions annoyed her because she asked me in a short tone are you okay? Like, I said yes, but at that point I was really upset and disappointed with the services and everything else I was seeing. She barely finished coating my nails and she already sat another customer down in another desk, didnt even bother to oil or lotion my hands after (to at least clean the powder and glitter off :(/) and still had the audacity to tell me put oil on your cuticles most manicures I have gotten usually oil or lotion towards the end of their work....but it seemed like she was desperate to jump next to the another customer she sat down.This is barely my 2nd time attending this place, really highly disappointed with their procedure of Covid-19, and also with this super rush sloppy powder dip coloring (because it didnt even feel like a manicure experience). I like to always pay in cash and tip well, especially because I am aware business have been hurt due to Covid-19; such a disappointment, if your going to pay for a service at least take your time.... Ill attach pictures....Honestly for 40 dollars I could buy the powder dip kits that are popular in social media sites and take my time to do my nails correctly at home :(

Worst experience Ive had in 15 years. After 1 day my dip powder started getting cracks in it. Now only 1 week later all but 3 are chipped or severely cracked and breaking my natural nails which grow fast and are pretty strong. I have been getting dip powder for years and this has never happened. To top it off I walked in with acrylics, and the removal was so painful. It felt like my nails were being ripped off like torture. Ive never had someone remove my acrylics that way.

This salon is so clean and feels so safe during covid! They take every measure possible (including plexiglass between you and your nail tech) to make you feel comfortable. The staff is very welcoming and kind. John did an amazing job on my nails as always! Highly highly recommend :)

Tracy was amazing. I️ cannot tell you how many times I️ show someone a picture and they just do whatever they want. Tracy is one of the few who actually did what I️ wanted and took extra time to do all the small details. I️ seriously would recommend anyone who is looking for a nail artist to give her a go. I will not go back here. In less than a week, the gel polish started chipping off and my nail started breaking because of filing my acrylic nail a lot.The guy who worked on my nail said don’t worry I will do great so you come back here 😬 I’m not sure why he again filed my nail at the end when there was polish instead of doing it before the polish. Not at all professional!

Some of the most friendly staff that we have encountered at a nail salon. Beautiful salon and very clean. We would have rated this business 5 stars if it was not for the fact that my daughter was overcharged for a acrylic powder dip. She called before making the appointment to ask about pricing for regular acrylic nails and powder dip nails and was told that the pricing was the same which was $30. However, when we went to pay the bill it was quoted at $44. We would have felt much better about the experience if they were transparent about the pricing...buyer beware!

This is after 3 weeks and it’s gel nail polish on my natural nails and on the toes is regular polish,the ladies do amazing job here it’s very clean and also they always seem so happy and nice!! Lee and Hanna did my mani pedi ! Excellent ladies and very talented.

Getting a gel manicure and regular pedicure at the same time was actually quite comfortable and effective! I was finished in less than an hour and the foot/leg massage was awesome. My manicure was for a photo shoot and it came out so good and still looks flawless a week later! Excited to go back next week.

This place is built for speed, which means your comfort is an after thought. Nails themselves came out ok, but I had to wince my way through it as a metal dremel and nail file kept getting dug against my skin painfully. Also came out with a bunch of dried gel on my hands and needed to clean up under my nails when I got home.

I came across this nail shop and I want to say after reading reviews I decided to go with it to have my own experience. The 1st time I went JOHN did my nails showed him a picture of what I wanted and must say he delivered exactly what I wanted and the shape uff amazing!! Took a month in half for a new set because that how long they lasted till I broke one, And I went back to JOHN because he delivers exactly what I want! John is they guy!

I have had my nails since the end of February. They have NOT lifted at all. They are very sturdy and I cannot believe they have lasted this long.

Went there yesterday to get my nails done this lady did them so badly, at the end she stop caring how she did my nails. I asked for squared, she did something else. My nails are bigger then my actual real nail. I wanted to cried so bad when she finished. And yes I tell her if she can fix them a little more and she only fixed one that she left longer then the rest. I can’t believe she really looked at them and called them “cute” :((((

Your pressured to pay in cash or Venmo because the owner doesn’t like credit cards. My nail tech today didn’t brush away enough nail shavings before she did a gel French manicure set on me so black specs are STILL on my nails. I only noticed one at the time which I asked her to redo and she was close to arguing. She didn’t offer me a drink at all, her coworker had to. To add on top I walked in first but of course because two Caucasian girls walked in they got serviced before me when they did not have an appointment. She was going to service someone else before me making it 3 until I chimed in and spoke up for myself.

I called the previous night to make an appointment for my friend and I for their next available time. They were able to fit us in right when it opened! I appreciated that. We both love the way our nails turned out. Mine cost me $40 and I believe my friends French Tips were the same. Very inexpensive for the quality we received

John was my nail tech and I would highly recommend him. He was super friendly, precise with his work, and really cared about his time with me. I came across this nail shop and after reading reviews I decided to go experience for myself,When I got there it was a little bit busy it was on a Thursday around 6:30 super busy but they still took care of me they assigned me to John I showed John exactly what I wanted and he delivered, The quality of the nail shaping was so amazing they lasted for almost a month and a half until I broke one and recently got a new set and John did the same thing showed him and he delivered John is the guy to go to! First visit to this new nail salon for a pedicure and I was not disappointed. The inside is beautiful and very clean. All of the pedicure chair sinks are wrapped. The staff is very accommodating and friendly. Making sure that Im comfortable and that the temperatures arent too hot or cold. Also offer refreshments and wine during your visit!! Definitely my new nail spot!

I tried a lot of nail salons when I first got to San Diego but I’m so picky about my nails that I never stayed going to the same one until I came to Apple Nails. They are so nice from the moment you walk in and they ask a lot of questions so they give you exactly what you wanted with your nails! I’m a huge perfectionist and have such high standards when it comes to my nails and every time I’ve walked out of there I have been so happy with them. They are pros at ombré and coffin shape nails! I’ve enjoyed every visit there so much I’ve taken friends and coworkers!

They charged me 40 for my nails when I got nothing I asked for. I wanted coffin purple French tip. I got uneven square nails. They didn’t even clip my cuticles. There is gel and polish all over my skin. If I could give one star I would.

This nail shop is amazing. It has been a very long time since Ive gotten my nails done and one of the reasons I dont go often is my antisocial tendencies. This nail shop is so warm and inviting. Tracy did my manicure and she made sure to ask everyone of theyd like something to drink. She makes a mean mimosa 😊. Van did my pedicure and she was very thorough. I am so happy I found them. New nail spa in the heart of Mission Valley. I followed my manicurist Amy here. Very nice nail spa, up to date chairs, clean equipment, and a vast assortment of WINE!!!! Relaxation at its finest. Super friendly staff meet you, and TONS of gel colors to choose from. So glad I made the switch.
