Valerie’s Nail Bar is highly recommended! Based on my experience, they do a great job on acrylic nails and gel pedicures. The staff is very professional, welcoming, and provide excellent service!

I arrived 2 hours before closing on Sunday.Im a travel nurse doing vaccinations so I didnt bring my car. When I arrivedat Valeries Nails, I was asked by Nina what service I wanted which was mani/ pedi she then told me quickly they were booked. So now I had to get another ride back to my hostel .Ive seen this before, if youre professional and experienced a mani/ pedicure should not keep you past closing to the point where you lie about being booked. I live in Houston and this would never happen at the salons there. San Diego customer service is trash. You guys wouldnt make it in the south.

Just had a very relaxing pedicure, my first in over five years. Besides a massage of the legs and feet I had hot oil treatment. The salon is immaculate, very clean. Will definitely return. My pedicure was done by Julie

Extremely excellent customer service. Get the Deluxe Pedicure and Dip Nails! They offer water and wine for those of age. I will plan on visiting this place when I come back to town.

I made sure to book an appointment to remove my nails and do a manicure. Upon arrival, she made me wash my hands and then proceed to tell me I wasn’t in her books even though I booked an appointment online the day prior. I drove for nothing. Avoid this place.

Came here for group nails for a wedding - SO welcoming. We felt SO pampered! If I lived in San Diego this would be my go-to. THANK YOU LADIES!

Worst service I’ve had from a nail salon all I wanted was acrylic nails and when I went home noticed she didn’t do fully what I wanted and caused me to bleed on my cuticles. I forgot the ladies name she was an older woman if you go here don’t request her. As for the other staff they were really nice.

Came in for a mani/pedi without an appointment. Was able to get in right away! Anna and Nina were so much fun to talk to and did a great job. Will definitely come again!

I did my nails and toes here. But i was not very satisfied. Place is clean and workers are very polite but my nails did nkt stay very long. And it was weirdly layered

Do not go there my nails are all different shapes. I went through 3 different people just to get my nails done. I can see the brush strokes in the polish. There is acrylic on my skin that I cant get off. I dont recommend going there.

If you are looking for atmosphere this is not your place. But I just got one of the best pedicures I have ever had. Comparable quality to a high end spa.

Super disappointing came in with my mom and daughter to get pedis and I wanted a facial. The lady says ok give me a minute. Great! Then she looks super annoyed and says oh sorry we don’t have anyone to do it. Very poor customer service and the lady was just too lazy and didn’t feel like doing it. Won’t ever come back

I made a spontaneous visit while at a conference, and what a great experience. I got my brows done as well as a mani/pedi combo. Mimi (spl) did a FANTASTIC job with my brows - best Ive seen in years. If I could afford it, Id fly to see her every few weeks for maintenance. Highly recommend!

Was referred here from my hotel when I said I didnt need anything fancy. Yeah, this place is not fancy, the staff are not chatty, but I got the best $30 pedicure here I have ever received. Cutting & shaping nails, dead skin removal, salt scrub with light massage, cuticle care plus chair massage. So great!! Bring a book and sit back and relax for 30-45 minutes, walk out with money still in your wallet and a super cute pedi!!

I got a regular manicure here while attending a conference and I was amazed by how precise the color was and the level of care placed into the shape and cutting the cuticle. Nicki did my nails and if I lived in San Diego, I would most certainly come back.

As staying in hotel across of this shop, decided trying out and I didnt care about at all. First, the shop was disorganized and bit out of dated deco. Most of all, it was not good job at all. As I been Nail Technician 20yers, hate to say this, they need do better job . Its been 5 days since I got done, it already starting chipping and I know this dipping polish should last 2week, and its so ugly looking nails and only get worst .. disappointed and wasted $55...

I would not even give this nail salon 1 star. I have never walked out of a manicure before but it was awful I would have rather had my nails chipped or not painted. I asked to remove my nail polish and walked out with nothing on. I painted my nails better on my own which says a lot.

AWESOME pedicure...i was visiting from out of town, and they were able to get me and my friend right in. Very clean and the staff was friendly.

Prices are high. Quality is awful. I was getting basic manicures because the gel kept peeling off. They convinced me to try powder dip. Its awful. They are terrible. Will not go back.

Nice place, the girl who did my pedicure did a good job, but the guy who did my manicure didnt do such a good job. Customer service wasnt so good either.

The lady did a good job and was friendly, but she was VERY pushy and persistent to get me to spend more money... I literally had to tell her I didnt wasnt shelic at least 6 times before she stopped asking. I came in and asked for the cheapest pedicure and she gave me the 35 dollar one... Come here to spend at least 40$ on a normal pedicure

The employees were rude, unaccomodating, impatient, and pushy. The lady that did my pedicure did a decent job but the lady that did my manicure did a horrible job. I actually asked her to take off the polish and just use clear because it was so bad. I would not recommend this salon.

I asked for them to just remove some nail polish from my fingers after I had my toes done. They charged me $5. Stay away! That is not good customer service.

My feet have never been softer after a pedicure!

Credit Card Fraud Alert: Dont get cash from the ATM at the Marriott across the street. After my appointment they told me to go across the street to get cash. I used the one card that doesnt charge ATM fees. The data was skimmed and someone tried to withdraw money from my account the next day.
