I’ve been coming here for 5 years and have never left disappointed. Nick absolutely kills it every single time and even when I’ve been scheduled with someone else, they’ve done a great job too. Parking is tough to find sometimes but the haircut is always worth it!

There are always complementary drinks offered and it’s Point Loma location is superb. Uni’k is a top notch barbershop. Nick and David both are incredible barbers. They take great passion in their work and I never leave disappointed. Their work speaks for itself. Every time I leave with a fresh medium skin fade. You get a hot towel after your cut and if you’re thirsty Nick always offers a beverage while you wait. The atmosphere is great, very clean place, well done and great haircuts. They take care of their military folks as well and are located in a nice area right off of base. Highly recommend them to any and all.

Get there a little earlier to enjoy a complimentary cold beverage before your cut.The Cut- I get the haircut/beard trim service and it’s great value. Nick is the go to barber.. he killed this hair cut and made the experience enjoyable.. I even had three of my friends there with me and he made us all feel right at home while keeping it professional.. this is by far the best drop fade i’ve gotten in san diego.. he works well on copying photo haircuts too, that’s what Nick did with my buddy.. who showed him the cut he wanted from a photo.. and it was spot on! I normally just go for a low fade but after seeings Nick’s work I let him just work his magic.. and he listened too all my requests.. very charismatic guy but my gosh, i’m even more please with his work.. Nick has been my barber since his old location on the other side of the street. This new spot is a huge upgrade and is super clean! This place is, simply put, amazing. Nick is an exceptional barber who has cut my hair since before I was rocking my, now trademark, beard. There is no other place in town a guy can ask for a scissors-only beard trim while watching ufc fights, to relate just some of the experience you get here. The easiest way to describe why anyone should go is, I literally once heard someone say, as they came in after me, that they had driven ‘over 100 miles to get a haircut here;’ what else is there to say, give it a try!

They only do appointments right now so make sure you call ahead. Nick has been doing a great job since I moved to San Diego about 4 years ago. This new location is very nice and there is adequate street parking available nearby. Very professional and a fantastic haircut for a very reasonable price. They are cash only so keep that in mind. There are multiple banks nearby if you need to grab some money.

Working with Nick was excellent, and you can tell watching him work that he has top notch attention to detail. I wasn’t sure how to describe the haircut I wanted, but he was able to use pictures of two different styles I liked and find a perfect cut that was a mix of both styles. He was also very knowledgeable about hair, styles, and head shapes, and helped me get a better understanding of my hair and of different styles I might try in the future. Excellent customer service, very enjoyable experience receiving his work, and excellent hair cut! I will be back soon for sure!

Absolutely butchered my hair, which is not a complicated cut. Its horribly uneven, and despite repeatedly describing what I wanted, he ignored me and kept cutting it wrong, telling me he knew what I wanted! The back is so uneven its ridiculous, parts of are 1 long, parts are 1.5, and theres literally a hole where its almost shaved! I dont know what he was doing but it looks ridiculous and I will NOT be going back.

My 4yr old son and I have been coming here for cuts for about a year now. The “by appointment only” system they incorporated could make things difficult for some. But it makes things perfect when trying to plan out my day with my boy.I really appreciate the patience they show while cutting my sons hair. I was really afraid that I’d have to go back to a “Toddler Haircut” place. Luckily here they do an even better job, same cost, and more convenience. I can easily jump in the chair right after my son instead of driving to another spot.If by any chance we would need to wait a few minutes drinks are available, a clean seating area, madeleines, and some entertainment on the big screens. The restroom is also kept clean and that’s always a relief especially if you have a child who touches everything.Truly happy with the experience we’ve had coming to “Uni’k Barbershop”. That’s why my son and I will continue being regulars.

Nick is an amazing barber who I have used for the past 3 years. While barbershops in San Diego are now charging $40 for a haircut it is $25 here and only $20 for military. Amazing cuts and great vibes with music and 2 TVs set up for sports. Park in the U.S. Bank parking lot. Right now due to COVID it is appointment only.

Nick is an excellent barber, he always gets me feeling good and looking fresh. They’re always playing espn on the tv and have music going. If you’re thirsty they’ll give you a drink with your hair cut. They line you up with a straight razor and end it with a hot towel to give you a truly five star experience. The shop itself is very clean and modern with up to date magazines to read while you wait. I couldn’t ask for a better barbershop experience!
