This is my boyfriend’s go to shop…the ONLY place he’ll even go to now! All the barbers there are awesome, the atmosphere is great & shop is clean & inviting. My boyfriend ONLY goes to K! Since finding him & this shop he won’t let anyone else cut his hair! So if you’re looking for a great atmosphere and good people, this is definitely the place!

Great cuts and hospitality first time in San Diego did amazing.

With then pandemic going I was relieved that they were able to bring me in as a walk in. Professional staff that Im glad I ran across in la Mesa.

I asked Calvin if he cut womens hair and he said he can. He was patient with me and did a splendid job with my hair and great prices.

Great experience with K the barber. Walked in and told me that he had an appointment waiting. He spoke to the patron and asked if he can cut my hair since he was getting another service done. The patron was gracious and gave the okay. I showed a picture of the hair cut that I wanted and I am extremely satisfied with the way it turned out. Highly recommend K-Cutz.

Very friendly and welcoming place!! I love the professionalism and the clean cut I get everytime, especially my beard (hot towels!!). I like that they have hair products to help your hair and facial hair as well, its an overall professional experience. It helps that theres good food nearby too!!

So I just got done at planet fitness and decided to get a hot towel close shave from K-Cutz. I never been in there so I figured I had the time and I needed the shave. As soon I walked in, I was greeted and seated down promptly at the chair. My barber was the CosmoBarber, it was $15 and it was probably the best part of my day. Really close shave with good communication, and proper attention to skin treatment. Came in on a walk in, coming back as a weekly customer.

I have seen this brother come from working for someone else; in someone else’s shop, to owning his own shop. Just that bit of information by itself, speaks volumes. Because to open up your own shop and maintain it for all the years that he has, tells me that, not only is this guy good, but he must be clean, courtesy, professional, etc. all at the same time. His shop offers plenty of parking and so many other stores surrounding his shop, that makes it a very pleasant visit to the barbershop. I’ve been letting Khalil Bryant, of KCutz Barbershop, cut my hair since 2007, before I had any boys. Now I have three boys, ages 3, 5 and 7 and all my boys get their hair cut at KCutz Barbershop. “You can’t go wrong by letting KCutz Barbershop tamper with your Dome...”Oh and did I mention the great, reasonable prices!!!!!!!

I have had a couple of different barbers here in San Diego. However, Kahlil who is the owner is phenomenal! I prefer his cuts over my prior barbers. I feel like family when I sit in his chair. And as a young black man, it’s important to have a mentor to speak life into you! I have seen him cut up pro basketball and football players, kid and adults with disabilities, and people of all ethnicities! Positive conversations, healthy family environment, and just good vibes at K Cutz!

Been going to Kahlil since the end of 2012. He is by far the best barber I’ve ever had. He worked with me when I had much longer hair but the last couple years I’ve been keeping it simple and short. Though he and his crew can handle basically anything you throw at them so don’t be afraid to ask! I really enjoy the straight razor edge up along my hair line. I usually get the shampoo too and sometimes even a trim and edge up of my goatee and mustache combo. If I can ever start to grow facial hair on my cheeks I know Kahlil will take care of me too ha! Seen him handle some monstrous beards.Great relaxed environment and conversation. Kahlil has put together a fantastic team of barbers over the years. Ive had to use other barbers a few times and never had any issues. Ive seen a couple female barbers on staff cutting women’s hair so females can inquire too!Have also seen many kids gettin fresh here at K Cutz.Kahlil has also contributed lots of time to the community. From teaching others how to cut through barber college, holding health check ups and events for local small business owners, as well as fundraisers! Been getting my cut here for over 10 years and always walk away with crispy lines and proper cut. Just got my haircut 4days ago and have had 4 people ask where Ive got my haircut. Really appreciate Kahlil handing me a mirror and asking if Im happy with my cut before I leave. If there was anything I ever wanted changed hes always been happy to do so. Likewise, I always appreciate the inclusive and welcoming atmosphere he maintains at the shop as well. One of the coolest things to see though, are the other barbers in the shop perform with the same level of professionalism and quality while getting my cut. I feel like if for whatever reason I needed a cut and Kahlil wasnt available, I could sit down in any of the other barbers chairs with confidence and be taken care of.

Just moved to San Diego. It took me a while to find a good shop that keeps my hair looking right every time. I commend Khalil and his staff for their professionalism and their comfortable and relaxed atmosphere. I definitely wouldnt go anywhere else in the San Diego area

I brought my nephew here every time he comes to Cali. Last two time LDub cut him; well done job. Clean respectable place, the wait isnt long; but, I do make my appointments online so its easier. commended from a Barber associate and I have been pleased.

By far the best barbershop in SD. Kahlil Bryant owner and barber is a true master of his craft and is a real business man. He is respectful of your time and he unsures a good environment for the whole family. Lots of homeless people live behind this place. It’s so scary and uncomfortable. This is unacceptable!!! Lots of them would come and ask for money.

Went for the first time recently. Fernando cut my hair, a scissor cut I think he called. Im more what youd call fashion unconscious. Im more about function, so Im not into paying more than $8-10 for a cut. The lady that used to do my hair just wasnt there one time. The new guy tries but his English isnt much & my Vietnamese is nonexistent. Groupon had a deal which was still a bit more than my range but I was getting shaggy and needed something done. I try to support locals if I can find one thats good, so I thought Id give them a try. Glad I did! The cut was great even the next day. I always dread a new barber it usually takes me a few times to get them dailed in on what I want. Even then sometimes it has to grow back out a bit so its not unruley. All that said, Im willing to go back even though its $15 or 17. Its worth it! They seem to do a lot of close cuts with the razors especially the designs. They must be good with kids too as there were several there at the time. You can imagine the patience that takes as little guys just dont sit still much. K was tending to a school supply donations box while I was there. Hard to impossible to beat good value with friendly people and civic minded too!
