Felipe (owner) cut my hair for the first time at his dads shop in North Park when I moved to SD over 3 years ago. It was a great cut and I later had my hair cut by his son (Javier). Javier gave me a perfect skin fade and has done so every single time since. I live in Golden Hill but still make the drive out to see Javier at his Santee shop if hes not available in North Park.Felipe has been doing this for decades and is definitely a master. Hes fast, clean, respectful and makes good conversation. He and his family definitely helped San Diego feel like home for me.I highly recommend Raymonds (North Park and Santee). I suggest calling to get an estimated wait time (or see if Javier has an appointment available) if you want to save a little time before you go.

I’ve been getting my hair cut here for the past 3 year or so. Every time I go in for a a cut I’m greeted like a friend. Fast service and great cuts. Will keep going here as long as I’m in San Diego and as long as they’re open.

The wait was long only two barbers. Been waiting for over 45 minutes. The owner said no appointments need but a friend of the son show up and he gets a pass to the front. 1st and last! Don’t waist your time or money. These clowns should be at a circus performing.

Philip has been cutting my flat top since 2000. I have never been disappointed. His haircuts are nothing short of consistently perfect. I Highly recommend this establishment for your Barber needs.

Stopped in with a friend for a beard trim. Had never been there before.3 generations of barbers since 1978. Cool family history.Be prepared to spend some time there. Joaquin is meticulous. At times it felt like he was concentrating on individual hairs.If you want to support a great family business, feel pampered and get a great result, this is the place to go.

Great place to get a haircut. I was actually quite impressed with my haircut. It did cost me $25, which is more than Im personally used to. But I plan to pay it again for my next cut. They guy was professional, courteous, held a good conversation, and was good at what he did. Introduced himself, asked my name, said nice to meet me, etc. Personal connection. More than worth it to me. Well done guys.

Great 3rd generation family owned barbershop! Ive had a haircut from all of the barbers in the shop and ive never been disappointed. I usually get a gentlemens cut or a mowkawk (or a combo of the two). Ive never waited long for a cut and theres a retro Pac-Man arcade game you can play while you wait so bring some quarters. theyre in the heart of North park near several great restaurants and shops. This place truly is the North Park locals barbershop.

I decide to try the barbershop because I stay around the area and trust me its not WORTHY the way or price horrible haircut i dont care about friendly barber if the skills on cutting hair are NOT GOOD
