Went in for a basic hair cut. Everyone in the area starts at $40. My hair was 1.5 inches long. The guys were nice, the place is lively, everyone is physically fit in there haha. Great place, nice guys.

I always find it interesting how much a haircut can change your mood... As I walked in, having have had experienced one of the most difficult days in my life, I was greeted by Frank. I told him I wanted to cut it all off and start fresh. He gave me his honest opinion and said he had a better option for me. As he started to cut my hair, he asked me questions. He kept me focused on the current task. I was amazed at the end result. He did better than I had imagined and the best thing is, he gave me hope that things can get better. I looked at myself at the end of the haircut and I saw someone I had not seen in years. Frank did a phenomenal job, he was courteous, professional, and above all, friendly. He brought back some of the confidence I had lost long ago. Who would have known this much could be felt from a simple haircut? I sure didnt, but Frank did. Im in San Diego just visiting and needed a haircut. I travel a lot so I often google for barber shops and it is hit or miss. I was lucky enough to find Top Cutts for my San Diego visit and Ray took me in and gave me the best haircut Ive ever had. He cut my hair, beard, waxed my nose hairs and upper cheeks and threaded my eyebrows. He had a steamer to open the pores, put a hot towel on my face and massaged my face. I Definitely recommend them. Frank was my barber both times I’ve come in. He Took great care making sure I got the cut I wanted, and is very skilled with the buzzer and scissors. It was cool to watch him style my hair with the hairdryer and comb too.Pretty standard barbershop atmosphere, in a good way. Friendly guys, sports tv, and optional beer. $25 is more than I want to pay for a haircut but I’ve tried to get haircuts for less than that, and haven’t been successful. I’ve received high quality cuts from Frank twice and plan to make this my regular barber shop.

I’ve been getting my haircut from Evan since 2014 from his previous location. There’s a reason I drive out of my way to come here. I have never had a bad haircut or experience. Evan and Ray are top notch. They don’t just offer haircuts, but beard trims, razor blade shaves, skin care, ear/nose wax. You will leave here a new person. They also carry product and complimentary drinks while you wait. Bottom line, you won’t be disappointed.

Love these guys! Weve been to some fantastic barber shops and stylists over the years, but these guys have a winning formula for men. They offer you a cold beverage while you wait, make some good conversation, price their services right, and offer everything a guy needs, including nose and ear cleanup... And yes, you do need that. I suggest you treat yourself to a full cut and beard works. Youll feel like a billion bucks.

Looking for a nice fade, I looked on Google Maps, and found Top Cutts right around the corner from where I live. I walked in, and was immediately greeted by Frank, one of the barbers there. He offered me water, listened to what I was wanting to achieve, and carefully trimmed, buzzed and shaved with the upmost attention to detail, checking in with me every step of the way. I would highly recommend checking their shop out. 🤙

Clean place with great barbers who know what they’re doing. Not only can they do a great job on your hair but can make your beard and eyebrows look good too. Good selection of drinks while you wait and very friendly atmosphere. They also sell a ton of products for your hair at a reasonable price. Enjoy, Suavecito, Johnny B products etc.

New place in the area. Was a different hair place before but they did some serious upgrades. Very clean and neat place. Barbers are friendly and welcoming. Nice selection of drinks and comfy couches while you wait. Everything in this place seems to be brand new a nice change from what Im used too. The barbers are very talented and extremely professional. I am so glad this place opened up I have been looking for an upscale shop to make my regular spot. Plenty of parking and easy to find. Hands down, the best barber shop in town! Incredibly well priced with precision grooming. You won’t find a barbershop in San Diego that does better fades than the guys in this shop, not to mention, their skills with a straight edge are as good as it gets. It’s a very family oriented, locally owned shop, and you’re guaranteed to enjoy nothing but good vibes during your time there - from free beverages and snacks to arguing over sports games (haha), it’s an all around great spot to hang out and get to know folks from all across San Diego.

Top Cutts barbershop is legit. Ive been going here for over a year. Always get a clean cut. Ray and team are always super friendly and have a fun environment. Always my first recommendation for my friends.

Ray is an awesome barber! One of the stylists at Dame & Dapper botched my hair terribly. Ray corrected her mistakes and made me look good again. Not to mention he remembers my haircut every time I come in. The stylist at Dame & Dapper suffers from chronic amnesia and I always had to instruct her how to cut it. ***NOTE*** I have extremely difficult hair to work with that requires absolute precision (#sorrynotsorry. I was born with difficult hair). Ray SLAYED on my first cut with him. I definitely recommend this place. Ray and his colleague are very personable, professional, and provide great service A+++++++
