In town for a few days and needed to find a spot we could visit with whole family in tow. Took my adult daughter in for a shape up and was glad to find a professional setting and clean shop that was comfortable for the younger daughter to sit and wait as well. I recommend!

I came for a haircut and beard trim. Instead Terrell Banks talks the whole time giving a half decent cut because he’s to busy talking about life’s struggles flirting at 10am on a Tuesday. Focus on what you’re getting paid for and cut my hair. He then spends 2 seconds on my beard and for some reason moved the chair back to trims my eyebrows. I had to tell him to fix my hair. Dudes a weirdo. Worst experience I’ve had at shop.

My son got his haircut here and he absolutely loves it! The cut and the shop! Thanks Mr. Terrell for making his first experience here, enjoyable. We will be back.

It shouldnt take 1.5 hours for a medium skin fade, nothing fancy. -- The barber spent literally 25 minutes (was watching the time) on one spot, while talking about his issues. I understand its a barbershop and the homies are there to chop it up, but really? 1.5 Hours for a MEDIUM SKIN FADE? -- I was the first one there - Another customer came about 20 minutes after i got there. And he was finished before I was. -- This was my second time with this barber. The first time it took just as long. So I gave him another shot, because maybe the first time he was trying to get a feel for my hair style..--- Was it a good cut? Yes. Ive had my haircut the same way for 5 years. But these were the only times it has taken over 1 hour for a simple cut. -- Not only this, I came home smelling like sage, one of the barbers smoked out the entire room. I had to sit in this chair for 1.5 hours in smoke. What an experience!

Had an amazing experience at Freshly Faded. The staff and the shop are so above and beyond, you feel welcomed the minute you walked in. Larry gave me a great cut, one of the best I’ve had. I highly recommend this shop for anyone who wants a quality cut and great service. Great local business. Found my new spot.

I dont know of any other barber shop that you can get a fresh fade and your chakras aligned (yes, thats sage thats burning) all at the same time. Love this Black Owned Business. Derrick is amazing with my low cut. Always on point even with my clear hair issues. Ive recommend several sistas to him. Love the energy here. Even though I always seem to be the only Queen in the shop I have NEVER felt bombarded with a bunch of alpha male energies. Wasn’t the best haircut I’ve gotten. The barber didn’t really take his time to blend everything all around, there are patches of places he missed with the razor, and it felt rushed. I’m probably gonna shave it, but at least hair grows back. I’d try it again to see if anything changes, but would have to debate it as $35 for a haircut with scissors seems a little too much.

You will be accepted and treated well, with an experience inspired by only what a true barber provides. In my case, I schedule primarily with Rene. His cuts have always been exceedingly high quality, with exact precision, and careful attention to taste. If you want a real barber, go to Freshly Faded.

I’m new to the city and let myself go pretty badly during the moving process. I’ve always wanted a spot where I could trust the barber to do their thing. Juan is that guy, he knows his stuff; got a perfectly cut line and fade and a style I hadn’t tried before but definitely will again. Everyone else in the shop was laid back/easy to talk to as well. All-around a great spot. Oh, and they keep their schedules tight - always appreciate that.

Finding the spot took a minute cause its just behind El Cajon Blvd. The place is official, well done. The barbers were professional and the clientele seemed welcoming and woke. My apt was with Leonard who was right on time, professional. We chatted briefly over some images of the shape up I wanted for my big Choo thats growing out. The first chair barber also dipped in to share an image of what turned out to be the very same look I wanted, welcoming. Folks discussed topics of the day. Leonard went to artist mode, professional. Within the scheduled 30 minutes my cut was complete and looked good. Paid the man, thanked the man and said Id be back.Good folks, good work, positive and inclusive environment

Leonard is the man to go hes highly skilled highly talented and a very friendly Barber. If you ever need to get a haircut dont waste your time with other Barbers around in the area instead come to freshly faded barber shop and get Leonard that man is the best at cutting hair he takes his time he even went out of his way to recreate a hairline for me which I was very nervous about doing but after seeing the result I was happy I went with him. The atmosphere in the place is very relaxed the wait times are pretty decent and all the barbers in the barbershop are all friendly after my experience for the first time here I have to say this was the best I ever had I will be coming back every two weeks to get up lineup with Leonard.

Visiting SD from out of town. The staff was extremely friendly and inviting. Im half Black half Irish and frequently barbers have trouble cutting my texture of hair... but not Leonard. I told him I wanted a skin tight fade with a long part on the left and as close as possible on top. He went to work and nailed it. One of the best fades I have ever had. Looks like it was painted on. The shop itself has a homily Afro-hip-hop artistic feel and they were playing some nice upbeat jazz music. Id recommend the shop to anyone visiting the area.

Juan is the bomb dot com. I think everyone there is pretty nice. Cool, clean atmosphere, nothing crazy. Have been there about three times already, definitely plan on making more trips.

Asked for a taper. The guy who cut my hair gave me a mid/high fade instead of what I asked for.

I decided to give freshly faded a try as they had good reviews. I did not personally have a great experience and should not have paid for my hair cut. The staff was friendly but the person cut my hair did not do a great job and really didnt even cut my hair.It was more like he cleaned it up and it is also is uneven. Im was not pleased with my experience and I will not be going back and going to my regular Barber down in national city

Guy (I dont name drop!) did a hack job on my hair, especially at the back, which was lop-sided, not even. I dont think you should have to go home and get a pair of scissors to even your hair. You might get a better deal at one of those $10 dollar shops like a friend of mine uses. Another customer wrote arrogant. Im not sure that is it but who knows? Maybe I picked the wrong barber. Anyway, the choice is yours. Like any profession, there are other options around San Diego. I will say, they do stick to their appointment times.

Clean barbershop! Haircuts are mostly by appointments and they do a great job of getting your cut done in the allotted time without making you feel rushed. Very nice atmosphere. You wont be disappointed with your haircut. Ill definitely return next time Im in San Diego!

Brandon Classic Man Barber is a Mystro with the clippers, shears, razor you name it. You will definitely be satisfied when you leave.

The guy that cut my hair seemed like he didnt know what he was doing, clipped both my eyebrows in the process of cutting my hair and at 35 dollars you can get much better fades all over San Diego for a cheaper price.
