I was referred by a friend to this establishment. Tim is extremely friendly and provides the best service in San Diego at prices that cant be beat! He provided a prompt oil change and tire rotation. I will be a return customer.

I will not take my business anywhere else. These guys are friendly and work SO hard. Had a Saturday afternoon break down (no juice) and found this place, one of the closest to me. Rode the bicycle to the shop where they suggested a tow truck company. Within an hour my car was in their hands. Although my car arrived only 2 hours before their Saturday hours (and what appeared to be a series of previous clientele cars still being worked on and initially it seemed like an inattentive situation ( I would soon find out that was not at all the case, they just had a large work load and wasnt going to waste time yapping with clients if it pulled them away from engines they had to work on). I received a call just before they were closing and Tim told me they had the part (alternator) and was going to try his best to get my car back to me that sat (as they were closed sun. Id have to wait until monday) and his price quote, which was a rough estimate was quite reasonable. I received a call around 2 hours later with a great news that my car was ready. When I showed up he explained and pointed out his handy work and, with no charge checked all the fluids and tires (which he brought up to standard pressure) all while having a good conversation. within four hours of being towed to their lot, My car was up and beautifully running. Tim is a decent, genuine, guy and has a swift, dedicated work ethic (worked 2 hours past their sat. closing ) as a mechanic. I just found my go to mechanic (as I moved from the North West last year). I wouldnt let the numerous cars in their lot detract you from thinking they get their jobs done like clockwork.

Needed a drive belt replaced. I showed up an hour before they closed expecting to have to leave my car over night or come back the next day. I had the new belt with me and Tim said he would replace it on the spot. I was gone within 45 min of showing up. Not to mention he saved me well over $100 compared to what the dealer wanted for the job.

Our car broke down in San Diego 75 miles from home, we came in 30 minutes before TN was scheduled to close, and Tim and his crew hopped on my car immediately. They were diligent, helpful, and charged us EXTREMELY fairly. Beyond thankful for this shop. Through and through excellent service and repair.

Tim the owner is a great guy! For the last two years he has been the guy I go to, to fix my car. The work is done as a team and the job is done so FAST! It is so affordable. With all the other bills that I have, having car problems is the worst “unexpected” bill. Tim is a very honest man and will tell you exactly what’s wrong with your car. He is not like most mechanics with expensive prices that will tell you all kinds of lies to run up your bill. I’m a woman that will search till I find the right deal. Out of experience I give this place 5 stars !!! I trust the owner and his amazing team. I recommend this shop!!!

My mother told me that this is one of the last honest and affordable mechanic shops around. They do good work at a really fair price. Ive had Tim fix my cars now for a few year and I wont go anywhere else.

Problem solver Tim is awesome and affordable. Will figure out the problem and get it done for you. Time it takes may take longer than you anticipate because each car is different. You may have to leave the car there for a while.

We drove from North County for a day in the park and had a brake emergency, and Tim and the crew at TN Auto were amazing, getting us in without an appointment on a busy Saturday. Their price was very fair, their customer service was top notch, and we really appreciated that they worked well past closing to be sure that we had a safe car to drive home.

This is the only place I TRUST! Cant say that about many auto mechanic shops.Tim, the owner, is a great person who is very knowledgeable and very honest. A very hard working man. No bs like many other places that try to squeeze every dime out of you.Many of my friends have come and received great service. Tim has done 3 engine rebuilts for 3 of my closes friends.I will warn you that if you drop off your car, it may take a little longerSimply because he is so busy and has a full schedule. He tries to fix your car within a reasonable time frame, just have a little patience.

Kicks. Ass.There are always 20 vehicles crammed into the lot, and it seems like total mayhem over there. The reception area hasnt been upgraded since 1950, and there are some hard accents youll need to strain a bit to understand.All that being said:Tuan is honest, reliable, and does terrific work. Ive taken multiple vehicles there over the years and would trust them with anything at this point. Im thinking of getting a new car and putting a lift kit on, which I will absolutely have Tuan do. They get it done right, quickly, and at a fair price.At this point I just drive up, toss my kids in the drop, and call them with what I need. Even for replacing axles and other involved work, I dont think Ive ever needed to leave my car overnight. Really a terrific place.

They were closing and still helped us. Fixed a belt that wouldve rendered us stranded for two days. Kind and helpful.
