I’m brand new to owning a Mercedes and George went out of his way to explain to me some of the systems my vehicle had and even why I might not feel the steering wheel pull a certain way if it needs an alignment. Very professional and you can tell the people working at this shop have a passion for vehicles. They did an inspection for my cross country drive and assured me that I was good to go and safe to drive. I only wish this shop was at my next destination. Thank you so much!

Messed up alignment, outside of my tire tread was fine, inside was bald, called and asked they said it was supposed to be like that, tried calling again and were uncooperative

I brought my land rover to this shop due to a cycling misfiring, after I called and asked them if they are familiar with land rover and they assured me they knew what they were doing. After taking over a month to replace the engin wiring harness witch was done for cheaper than land rover, the car is still misfiring and now the owner of the shop told me this is his first time working on land rover and that I need to have my vehicle towed back to land rover because we cant fix it. Please I beg you dont bring your car here.

My air conditioning was never working properly since I bought the car. It ran intermittently. When I took it in to the dealers and other mechanics, they said it probably just needed freeon. When Id get it back, it would quit within two days. George at Barons found the problem and after two visits it works and is working really well. George is very pleasant and went out of his way to make me comfortable while Iwaited. I would recommend his shop to all of my friends.

Quality work, although they are pushy and eager to repair your car at a huge mark up knowing the prices available for the parts that they use. Even some of their parts they use can be found at non wholesale shop price and they will charge you a 200-300% markup PLUS labor costs. Jorge is an honest mechanic but charges too much claiming that he has to pay his mechanics. Diagnostic can be upwards of 200%+ and you may have to pay the extra hours that they put it for their own technical difficulties. Make sure you get the right cost for the parts do your research and negotiate the proper label hours and cost.

George and the mechanics at Barons Foreign Car Service really came through to fix my car. Where as the mechanics from another garage were ready to give up and offer me scrap pricing for my car. I am glad that I reached out to George for a second opinion. He was able to offer several pre-service solutions even though the car in the end did need service. George was honest, thoughtful and knowledgable. I highly recommend this place.

George was kind and squeezed me in when the shop was very busy.Unfortunately, they were not able to recreate the issue while the car was in the shop but it recurred again within 100 miles. Technically not their problem since they couldnt reproduce the issue, but still unfortunate.

George went out of his way to provide personal service. He made recommendations on the best way forward. He went out of his way to procure good, used parts where it could save me money, but not effect the integrity. He also went out of his way to pick me up from the rental car agency and take me to the shop to get my car. The work done was excellent and the price was fair. George is very caring & personable

BEST SERVICE AND QUALITY IN SAN DIEGO.The guys at Barons, every one of them is on top of their game, take the time to work though the options open to you and are more reasonably priced than any other shop.Whatever your needs are, from a check engine light to and engine replacement do yourself a favor and go to Barons.I had a late model Jeep that would not smog, these guys knew exactly what to do to fix and pass my Jeep.

Recently had my Audi A4 serviced here, received a quote from the dealership and a another local shop before coming here. Both shops quoted me $400-$600 more and would not guarantee passing emissions after repairs. I went with this team after reading some reviews and wanting a third opinion; hands down best decision I made. I passed smog and they provided warranty with the work, above all they were always professional, honest and did quality work!

The guys will do whatever it takes to make the job done right.Had block heads overhaul with them (which is highly demanding and complex job by itself), and every minor detail has been taken care of. The engine runs like new, solid pickup and better gas mileage than before.5-star service.

Had motor mounts on C63 done, suggested both motor mounts so I got them done for a good price. He is honest and explained things to me. One thing, you may expect walking out getting more work done than expected so make sure you specify what you want done if youre only there for a couple things. I have a BMW and it would not shift automatically. Took it to a BMW dealer and it was going to be $4,000 to repair. So I was looking into purchasing a new car. Then decided to get a second opinion. Found Barons on line and read the reviews. Took the chance and I am so impressed I have recommended them to everyone I know. It was repaired for under $1200 and runs like new. They are more than honest. My estimate was more but there were some parts not necessary so they charged less. They even took pictures. They called me the next week to see how it was doing. I recommend this repair shop without any reservations. They are outstanding.

I was in from out of town and was recommended by Mira Mesa Auto Techs. They provided great last minute customer service right up to the end of the day Friday, so I was not out of a car for the weekend. They have friendly service and skilled techs. I came in with a dash board full of lights and a trans that wouldnt switch and drove home happy with everything cleared. I would definitely bring my BMW to them for service in the San Diego area.

Great place to take your BMW.Took my E46 to get the A/C taken care of, offered me a ride to work, took great care of my car and even washed it. Took my Mercedes E500 in a few times over the last three years. Felt Barons overcharged then but thought they all are crooks so just deal with it. Wasnt until recently I found out what a scumbag Dave really is. Had another (undiagnosed) problem with same car. Barons told me that is would be $6500.00 for him to fix. Told him Ill take it elsewhere for a 2nd opinion. He charged me $150.00 for the diagnosis .. even after spending over $2000.00 with him over the last two years.Took the car to a competitor and was charged $2500.00 to fix the problem that Barons was prepared to charge $6500.00.Dave and his only mechanic are worthless. Not only is his mechanic an uneducated idiot? He looks like a homeless troll.Go elsewhere .. they will charge you just to walk through the door.

My 2004 E320 was having major issues with hesitation off a stop and the issue was diagnosed, tested and ready same day for a fair price. They even gave me a ride there and back and washed my car. Barons has earned my repeat and referral business.

Coffee while I waited, in depth explanation of what was wrong and they brought my car back washed and clean without asking. Repaired what I requested and then, as a courtesy, inspected and found another critical issue that needed my attention.

I was recommended to try Barons when my 2000 BMW 5-series new car service contract ended. I also trust my wifes 2007 MB SLK to Barons, because I know that they will do the job I would do if I could maintain my own cars. Dave and his mechanics care about each car they service. You get what you pay for - I agree with another comment here - If Dave or one of his service personnel call and say something needs to be done, they have researched the problem and know that the maintenance they suggest is necessary so that my car is safe and performs as I expect it. Barons is proative in their maintenance and doesnt cut corners. When I needed new tires to replace the orignal equipment, Dave saved me $ by recommending a less well known tire that has performed just as well.
