I thought I was doing my sick friend a favor by finding them a local appliance company to come out and get their washing machine working. They came out and within 2 minutes stated it would cost hundreds of dollars to repair. Then came the surprise $77 dollar service charge. At no time was a service fee mentioned while booking the appointment. I just want all consumers to know that they will charge you whether or not they do anything.

Ive used this company twice for kitchen appliance repair. I couldnt be happier with the service I have received! Today he came and fixed my refrigerator for just the cost of the service call. In the past theyve fixed my dishwasher, stove and vent fan quickly and efficiently.

Ive used Gormsen Appliance in the past for washer and dryer repair, and have always been impressed with their prompt professional service. When my trusty 30 year old refrigerator died, I knew just whom to call. Within 24 hours I got a service call, diagnosis and expert opinion from Axel. Within two more hours I had a new refrigerator in my kitchen. My installer Kai went above and beyond, not only removing the dead old behemoth for recycling, but also playing musical refrigerators, moving the new frig into the house and the old kitchen frig out to the garage. He even helped re-hang the kitchen door. Five stars is not enough stars. Thanks to everyone at Gormsen Appliance for their excellent service!

Ive been in the service business 35 years. Scheduling was smooth. The technician, José, called prior to confirm and arrived within the scheduled window. José was very professional, personable and knew what he was doing. He did a great job getting our Maytag dryer back up to speed. A rare experience in todays business world. Just bought a new washer after having one for 30 years. Real wake-up call for me. Searched the usual, Home Depot, Lowes, online, etc, but finally decided on Gormsen. I got a BETTER price than any online or retail I saw, I got a BETTER warrantee by far than anywhere else, and I got personalized service that I thought was quite honest. They are better than Home Depot, etc, cause they respond quickly and get people out to you fast. I even got to speak to the owner, who was diligent in responding to all my concerns, etc. Ill certainly go to them when my dryer fails, though its been going strong for 35 years. And Ill give them every opportunity to sell me on other appliances as they fail one by one by one.
