Great staff especially manager Vania and Michelle but the construction going on is unbearable and the noise is interfering with my job. Even my poor dog has been terrified and chewed the carpet today. I wish I knew that was going to be happening (construction) not to move in here back in May. It’s impossible to work from home. However, the leasing office staff has been extremely helpful and accommodating. I am worried now about the damage of the floor caused by my terrified dog as it would not have happened if that noise and banging were not as bad. Called the office today and asked how I can repair myself this but they shut me down that they will do that which probably will cost me a lot… although I feel I should not be even paying a dime for rent or repair living in such terrible conditions and not being able to do my job.

I just read some of the reviews and they make me laugh. I wonder if people complaining about being charged for amenities during Covid would even be using them if Covid never happened 😂 Yeah, and no pool parties w models walking around hahaha, but still a great place to live. Everywhere has it’s ups and downs, especially in Covid we’ve all been going through them together. The staff here have been super cool. Come live here if you want to live in a clean, peaceful community with nice neighbors.

This review is lengthy but we are current residents and this is the honest truth about everything we have experienced since living here. We hope this helps you make a decision about whether this would be good fit for you. We will continue to update as time goes onWill attach photos of the review as it exceeds the limit of words allowed...10/01/2020 - update from apartments response on here...Yes they have been in contact this whole time about the carpet and it shouldn’t take over a month to figure out. And no set time they will show up to fix carpet just “after 9am” so I will be sitting around waiting for someone to show up for who knows when. They adjust to covid regulations by shutting amenities down but now lowering rent temporarily as an adjustment or tenants.AT&T is not out of their control as they have the strict contract so we cannot choose another provider which falls on the apartments. They have worked to schedule many times and dates to address the carpet yet every time they had someone come out they messed it up further or did not have the correct equipment to fix it multiple times resulting in wasting our time waiting around for them as well as time off work.As far as doing all they can to help we have yet to receive any type of contact to help us beyond their response to our review and that the floor is already on calendar for them to try and fix it again for the over 4 attempts they have already tried as we stated in the review below. So no changes so far in care... will update.Just moved out July 11th: will update with the horrific bill that’s being charged to us even after all they put us through. Many tenants want to move due to how money hungry this place is.

Honestly this is the worst apartment complex I have ever lived in. They have not helped whatsoever during this pandemic and are still charging us monthly for amenities that we are not able to use. The staff seems nice at first but its all an act. They never actually follow through with anything, they do not follow up or contact the manager about anything, and they do that fake smile with an attitude service. No problems have ever been resolved. People smoke here so much we cant have our windows open, the dog park is filthy, the landscaping consists of only mowing the lawn. Next to our window is just dirt where dogs pee all day long. Dogs are constantly fighting here and owners have no control of their animals.

I love living here. I have been here for about 1 month. All of the staff is amazing. I needed doorknobs changed because my two year old kept trying to escape, and there were no safety locks for the doorknobs they had. He had the deadbolt figured out in a second. Within an hour someone was at my apartment changing the door knobs. The view from the place is amazing. The pool area is well kept up and has a great relaxing view of the mountain. Plus the gym has everything you need. Finally, the rec room is a really nice addition to be able to rent out. Regina is the person I have probably worked with the most and she is always making herself available and goes out of her way to make sure everyone is comfortable. The whole team is great though! On Easter they organized an Easter egg hunt for the kids. This was a great way to get all the kids together. My son absolutely loved it! It was his first egg hunt, and he loved it! :)

$2206 rent to stare at a dumpster over flowing with “renovation” refuge (sofas?). I have pics. They allow dumping on their property. The worst building we have ever lived in. No sound proofing. Lots of spiders. The most over-priced apartments in the area. The entire complex was built poorly in the 80’s. Attempt at renovation does not change small floor plans that lack light. The materials they used are cheap and improperly maintained. You will get depressed living here. You pay for the gym and pool and the nice office that the employees work in. Cars have been vandalized and staircases near collapse. Thankful to be leaving!

STAY AWAY!! Bad business practices, aggressive, and misleading tactics. My wife went to look at some apts while I am deployed anticipating a return home. The lady who helped her pressured her to rush home after a 3pm visit to have the application and fees by 6pm so “we would not lose” the apt she liked. That was odd, I told me wife it will be there tomorrow there isn’t a long like of people waiting to rent where you had to “rush.” We went ahead did the application and fees, set a day for April 15. Then COVID-19 hit and put a halt on everything. Decided to cancel the application because I currently don’t have a return date they refused to refund the deposit. Too many red flags!!!**Look at the other reviews**

Living here for almost two years, I can say I am pleased with the service and amenities that are available to me on the property. I study at the leasing office frequently and have observed the two women who run the office. Comparing my own personal encounters with them and my observations of their interactions with other residents, Regina and Ghada treat residents and visitors with respect and are attentive to their needs. Cant complain with the beautiful golf course view that I get wake up to every day either!

I lived here now one year and going on my second lease Regina is excellent and superb very helpful, on point. Joe property manager is approaching and genuine.Only issue Ive had and my concern is the capabilities of the maintenance department. Water leaks are out of control and some of the leaks in which I have experienced and heard about were failures in that department. My advice to management and the owners are to exam that area. With that being said, if your looking for fair rent, upkeep in retrospect of some bad maintenance individuals is a 5 star. The staff out shines its failures. Im signing on another year with a great property.

Way overpriced, staff is friendly to your face but that’s about it. Maintenance is horrible. They “fix” stuff instead of fixing it and call it good. Had stuff stolen out of my parking spot when they allowed the gate to be tied open for like 2 weeks and then was told “we aren’t responsible for that.” Now I just got put into collections for $1600 after I moved out? Living here was one of the worst ideas of my life.

I am updating this review, the place is over priced still. However the new management team is much better than the previous one. If you happened to catch that review. The maintenance is quick, responsive, and adequate with an online tracking service. They seem to be in another phase of upgrades though, I hope it’s not in preparation for a sale.If the rent were not so high it would get another star.

I definitely DO NOT RECOMMEND this place to any future tenants, family or friends! This place is not at all what we thought it would be. We are extremely disappointed with Mission Trails apartments. This complex is definitely not worth what they are charging. Our poor experience started in the first unit we moved into. There was a tenant that lived across the hall that was on drugs and would sit in his unit by himself yelling at people to leave. He would scream and yell at the top of his lungs from 9pm-8am the next day. He would do that for days. We had contacted the security at night here, we would call the police and we would inform Management. Nothing was ever truly done, we were told to keep reporting it because there was nothing they could do. It got to a point our daughter who was 2 would get scared to leave because she said the man scared her. We ended up seeing the tenant outside his door one day with an ankle bracelet on it for house arrest. We knew right then and there it was a red flag. Shortly after enduring that, we got a letter 9 months in living in the unit that our unit needed to be renovated and our lease could not be extended. We had two options, move to another unit or look for a new place entirely. We decided to stay since we wouldnt have enough time to save for a deposit on a new place and time to look, we might as well stay. Once we gave Management the news that we wanted to stay and we chose the unit we wanted to move into, we were given 2 days to move out. We werent at all happy about that because my husband is a stay home dad and I work 12hrs a day 5 days a week and we have a 2 year old.We moved into our new building and our new unit. We were told the unit we moved into was newly renovated. We saw the new flooring and new ceiling fan and counter tops, but the cupboards were repainted with new doors put on. The cupboards had paint bubbling and chips in the wood. The drawers dont even open and close properly and the flooring is separating. We have mold that happens in both bedrooms, so bad that our daughters mattress got it at the bottom and we had to throw it away. There was a water leak from our upstairs neighbors bathroom that had leaked into our bathroom. It took the maintenance crew 2 weeks to finish it. Any maintenance needed in the units was always poorly done, my husband even caught one of the guys telling him he fixed something and he didnt, so we fixed it ourselves. We were put onto a waitlist for a parking spot that we just got and there is a leak in the garage that has now leaked onto my husbands car and is causing the paint to deteriorate and causing rusted stain in the paint. We have brought this up to Management and we automatically get a reply where they are defending themselves instead of trying to fix the situation.$2388.00 a month for this?!? No, absolutely not!! We will be giving our 30 days notice when our lease term is up. I will be telling people to not rent here as well. We have researched other complexes and have found way nicer places for the same amount of money or less. That is definitely the direction well be moving.Oh and any new tenants moving in, your units are being rushed for completing any renovations up till the day you move in. I saw tenants moving this weekend, one unit didnt get finished till 8pm the day before and another unit didnt get done till the day they were moving in in the afternoon. I hope this helps future tenants looking for a place to live to not waste their time and money here!!

My friend lives here and she hates it. Do not be fooled by the pretty outside. Management is terrible. They ignore all the complaints. Customer service zero. They basically so not care about the tenants and they do not even try to hide it. It took them 3 months to replace my friends broken fridge. And that happened only after my friend kept going to the office everyday. People drink, smoke at the pool, they make the place a trash and management does not do anything about it. Think twice before renting.

Praise for our maintenance team. I was at the pool the other day and overheard several residents talking about the excellent maintenance team we have. One resident related how Amilkar over saw the repairs to a leaking planter bed that was leaking into her apartment. It was a major undertaking requiring the removal of soil and plants, the waterproofing of the concrete, the installation of an additional drain, and replanting the planter. Then there was the damage to her apartment. That day they had blowers in place to dry out the carpet and dry wall. The dry wall was repaired and repainted within a week. The other resident related how Miguel had changed out her toilets with high efficiency ones and how careful he was in ensuring cleanliness. These guys are super friendly and thoroughly professional.

This place is total and complete ass. They showed me a nice model which is what I had hoped I would be moving into, but instead they moved me into an apartment with broken doors, broken screens, and bugs in the refrigerator. Ive had multiple plumbing issues, and the maintenance man just comes and walks back in fourth in my apartment like he doesnt know how to do his job. MY APARTMENT HAS BEEN BROKEN INTO, and all they told me was sorry. And now my air conditioning is not working and nobody in the office likes to answer the phone! Cant wait for my lease to be up.

This is the worst place to live with the worst management and stuff (except Regina shes nice).I was bullied out of my residence a month before my lease was up, and now expected to pay. I gave my notice to move on 2/24/18, I was told my lease was not up until March 31, I said I knew that and would still pay rent for March and just move out slowly. Somehow they entered in their computer that I was leaving on 2/24/18, and then their system would not let me pay past the 23rd of Feb. when I inquired about it, I was told they would get back to me. They never did even after my efforts. Instead they had contractors entering my apartment to take measurements for a demo and remodel to be done on feb 26th, I thought I needed to move faster so I did. Basically they wanted me out so I could pay for the unit during their remodel. The place is a dump and Ghada and Ruth are unprofessional. If you like mattresses by the dumpster with bed bugs, a property thats always loudly under construction and shady management. Then its a good fit. Only thing good is the location. The Units are priced way too high for what you will receive. There have been many break ins in the parking garage as well as water leaking onto cars. The walls to the units are also paper thin so be prepared to hear all of your neighbors business. And if you complain to the corporate office, guess what it gets bounced back to the management team in the office, more incompetency, save your time and money.

Very disappointing!Way overpriced and maintenance is unacceptable! We had clogged sinks almost every month, they couldnt even fix the issue permanently and one time, they actually left a bucket under my kitchen sink with that disgusting water and a rag. It left my kitchen smelling horribly and when I finally realized that the bucket was there after almost a month, it was slimy and the rag was rotten looking!!Also now that we have moved out, they are expecting us to pay for them to repaint the apartment and to clean it after we cleaned the entire apartment upon moving out which I dont think the previous people living there or the apartment did and there was absolutely no damage done that they had to repaint it and have US pay for it!

Poor management and Over-priced (Please see entire review)Brief Synopsis of Problems:Poor management (No care, very bias, and rude)Bad tenants (Dont clean-up after pets, leave trash out in front of door, loud at all hours of night)CockroachesAlways under construction making loud noisesTreat military poorlyAmenities never work (Jacuzzi always closed, dirty pet park, and poor property management)Sares Regis- I just want you to know that your management does not do their job, and falsely signed a form stating that they would be at my apartment at a certain time to do my final inspect and did not show. Therefore I did not know what issues to fix, and I would be glad to share this form with higher management than what you have working at this property.First issue- I moved to these apartments two years ago(April, 2015), and was paying a respectable amount of rent for the unit I was staying in (1 Bedroom ), and their was no issue with the management. After staying there a year I realized that my wife and I would like to stay in a 2 bedroom apartment due to the friendly staff, and the deal that was offered. Moving to the 2 bedroom apartment was the worst choice that I could of made due to the fact that the apartments were sold to a new company, and new incompetent management took over. In July when the temperature is the highest the AC decided to stop working, and a maintenance call was placed. After a day of no AC the maintenance man finally showed up, spilled water from the AC all over the floor, and underneath the bathroom cabinet, damaging the carpet and everything inside of the bathroom cabinet including my wifes make-up. We all know never to mess with a womans make-up. I walked over to the management office, and the management did not care that they damaged my property along with the carpet. I brushed it off bought my wife new make-up and moved on. Another issue that I had was with packages. I would receive a slip in the mail stating that I had a package, and most were for my medical device that I need to sleep, and I would ask management for the package, and they would never be able to find it. I came back the next day and my package would appear. This happened multiple times and I personally feel that management did this on purpose to upset me even though they didnt know they were withholding packages that were detrimental to my health. The third issue is the tenants in the apartments. One night I woke up multiple times even though I had to work the next day at 6am, because tenants felt it necessary to pull the fire alarm. Management did not address this issue. I could go on about the reasons not to move to this place, but I think that you get the picture. The straw that broke the camels back was when I saw a cockroach on the wall. At this point I was completely disgusted as most people would be and began looking for places. I found a nice house for a reasonable amount of rent, and moved out as soon as my lease was up. I will end this review on the only good thing about this place which is the location. I really liked being able to hike Cowles Mountain or take a walk by Lake Murray. Thank you for taking time to read my review, and I hope that this place doesnt cause as many issues for you as it did for me.

If youre military please dont move in here or even a regular tenant! We paid way too much especially for water! The garage is always leaking water therefore we are paying for waterr that really doesnt correspond to us. It is utterly disgusting to see water leak from hall ways as well. Maintence is a disaster my apartment was not even clean when I first moved in. And my door was not working. And even then my door was never really fixed! Everytime I called maintence they said my toilet was good and I kept telling them my toilet was leaking. The toilet stopper was broken and I told them what the issue was. instead of replacing the toilet stopper they just put caulking to fix it which it still cause it to leak. And everytime I still called to say the toilet is leaking through the caulking they would leave a note saying my toilet is fine. Next thing you know I have a horrible flood in my apartment because they kept avoiding the problem. Oh but my toilet was ok. After they fixed my toilet guess how they clean the water leakage? They get all my towels and clothes to dry up the water! They couldnt ask for rags at least? I also had constant electrical issues with the outlet and the shower drainage they never fixed. I decided to email them of all the problems and things Ive dealt with that way I have it for my own records. I officially moved out due to my husband military orders and notified them in person that the apartment was vacant and the one month rent would be late and was told it be fine and that they were going to notify Joe the manager. I am getting emailed about getting an eviction because apparently I am still living in the premises and there will be a law suit. Not only that but when I emailed Joe he states he never got a payment and that he would mark us being vacant starting from the day I sent the email. How is this possible when we went to the office to give notice IN PERSON before the email was sent? Stuff gets stolen here and damaged. My motorcycle was dropped and not only dropped but someone tried taking parts from it. I am sure my motorcycle was dropped when they had workers by the pipeline fixing stuff. The reason why I know this is because I saw the worker was working next to my bike along with looking at it and circling around it. I am pregnant so I havent been using my bike! Well when it came time to get rid of it since I wont be riding it I notice the damage in my clutch which was bent in! I am glad I had fram sliders because the body would have been wrecked too. And then from there I noticed missing parts by my handles bars! Please save yourself a headache and get somewhere where you can have a better secuirty and quality of service!

This place is terrible, the new management that took over the complex in August 2016 is the worst. I stayed there for 2 months doing the month to month rent, unlucky me this people took over the place when I was leaving, so I paid my utilities and left the place way better than how I got it, thinking that I was doing them a favor so I can get my deposit back ($400) fast, 3 weeks after I left I called to check on my deposit and to my surprise they told me that I owe them a full month rent because they cant find the proof of payment and if they process the check I was goint to be in a lot of debt to them. I was like are you kidding me? I have to call you to find this out? You dont even notify your tenants about stuff like this?, you cant even check your system or even your own bank to see that I did pay? So I had to get out of my way to go to my bank and get a copy of my check proving that I paid them. After I showed them and that was done and clear, they couldnt do anything else but accept that I did pay, I waited for my deposit, and nothing happened, I called again and left multiple messages to the secretary trying to speak to the manager (Godha) or something like that, but never got a call back, I had to keep calling until I finally came through and the manager told me that the check was finally sent but it was only $100!!! They charged me $300 in cleaning fees for 2 months of staying there, why did I even try to clean the place? The apartment was a mess when I first got it, the carpet smelled like dog, stains everywhere, nails and holes all over the walls, trash behind the washer and dryer. So if you ever want to stay there, something I wouldnt recommend, say goodbye to your $400 deposit. Oh ya I forgot I hope you dont get as lucky as me and have your neighbors under or next to you smoking pot in their balcony everyday or grilling and have all the smoke coming inside your apartment. Oh ya the windows locks dont work so you need to figure out a way to keep them lock if you have small kids like I do (or pets I guess), specially if you live on the 3rd floor, I really hope nothing ever happens but living so high up and having your toddler opening the window playing by it I couldnt sleep at night, I had to go to the hardware store and get a lock myself, something is going to happen one day (hope not) and I kid might fall, I brought this issue to them and they told me they were going to fix it but never did. The only good thing about living here is Cowels Mountain if you like hiking, thats all, but then again you have other options around that area that you should check first, and never come close to this place.
