The compressor of my fridge went out. Same day a replacement was provided. It was a used fridge that started to give us problems beginning day 1. Within 2 weeks; the grinding noises became unbearable, the ice wouldn’t stay completely frozen and frost was all over the freezer. I called back:Gabriel and Edwin were top shelf! They carefully listened to my concerns, checked out the fridge and decided another fridge was in order. The next day, a brand new fridge! I appreciate that we were not ignored and the problem continued to receive attention until it was resolved.Thank you
Edwin and Gabriel were just exceptionally helpful and efficient Work explained while they worked. You need to have more employees like these two. Thank you again. JW Todd
I needed some work done in my apartment. Maintenance Edwin was terrific with what I needed to be fixed. Polite and professional. Thank you
I just moved in on May 1st and I have to say I’m really enjoying it so far. The community is nice and well kept. I enjoy how family oriented the complex is. I have to give a big shoutout to Aiana Barley, who was extremely helpful and patient with me during the entire process of choosing El Dorado as my new home. Thank you Aiana!! My only dislike would have to be the parking though.
I moved in in August...1985😁. The apartments were newish and clean. The grounds were lovely greenspaces. The pools were clean and well maintained. There was no A/C, my assigned parking spot was about a block away, and my upstairs neighbor partied like she was on spring break...for a year. No pets. Rent was $650 for 2B/1bath.Met a good looking guy at the pool one day. He eventually moved into my apartment until we moved to OC a year later. We just had our 35th wedding anniversary. It was worth the HEAT, noise, nasty leasing office team, and the cramped living though. Life is trippy.
We’ve live here for a little over a year. We’ve addressed several times to housing that our neighbors have had multiple altercations of domestic violence/disturbance. We understand that these apartments are older, having thinner walls, insulation etc. Housing has explained they’ve addressed the issue with the neighbors but yet this is an on going issue. Can’t wait to leave this apartment as we were told we could not relocate or we would have to pay to break our lease if we wanted. One of the leasing agents even mentioned she personally knew the disturbing neighbors, yet they are still here. Very disappointed in the way our community has to suffer for their ignorance.
YIKES! Avoid at all costs! Really overpriced and hardly any appliances work :( Also have annual apartment “ maintenance checks” where they go in your apartment whether you’re home or not.
There is a lot of theft here. Lots of stolen packages off doorsteps, cars vandalized, storage units broken into. Nothing is done about it either. The parking situation is awful too. A lot of people have to park on the street, and get their cars broken into or crashed into. Things I wish I knew before moving in.
It was decent at first when living here, but due to the outdated appliances, lack of A/C, poor effort put into making the place look 100% for new people, water constantly being shut off for repairs since it is so old, it quickly became unsatisfactory. For the same price and even less you can find a way better place with better parking, A/C, up to date appliances, working utilities. The maintenance is okay but can be rude at times for instance I was walking my dogs one night and say a pipe that was leaking what appeared to be human feces onto the sidewalk so I called the emergency maintenance number and I was told what do you want me to do about it. This was extremely unprofessional as I was just trying to notify them so they can have an idea on what to do in the morning. The management team is somewhat incompetent because one day at 4 a.m. I found a juvenile cat that I believed belonged to someone in the complex so I notified the leasing office and told them that I had the cat in my apartment and that it had a litter box food and water because I used to have my own cat, I was told “to let the cat back outside and maybe it will find its owner”. Again this was extremely unprofessional so I had to take the cat to get scanned for a microchip and find the owners myself no thanks to the leasing office. When you move out you will be hit with “cleaning charges” even if you spend a week deep cleaning the entire apartment. They will also charge you an outrageous amount for paint even though the maintenance team has five gallon buckets of the paint on standby. I recommend doing a good amount of research on other apartments before you decide to live here.
Its a nice place to live. Very dog friendly
The location is good, secluded, no big traffic because of the fact that it is away from the main road. When we first saw it the place indeed was great, good amenities, clean and we thought was quiet. We had a two bedroom apartment with two full bathroom, the apartment was big enough but the appliances are way too outdated appliances AC was just on the living room, bathroom doors and sinks are constantly breaking, electrical wiring issue, SUPER THIN WALLS, you can hear the neighbors every time, plumbing were noisy . SMALL parking spaces, dogs stool all over the pathway . The people working in their office were really unhelpful except for ASHLEY . Five star for ASHLEY!!Ashley was really helpful, she was the one who help us get the apartment and accommodating our service request for the apartment, but after like two months I havent seen her again, I believe she was on leave, then we just saw her again when we moved out.
The apartment is overpriced for the terrible parking, old appliances, and lack of decent A/C. During the summer, you will sweat your a@# off while trying to sleep. My roommate scraped his car trying to get into our narrow parking spot. The washing machine rattles like an animal. Our oven was disgusting when we moved in. Things break all the time.I just got my security deposit return finalized and they gave me nothing back. Didnt see that one coming [sarcasm]. Somehow they justified $180.40 of painting charges, $80 for supplies and $100.40 for labor, to bring my return to zero. The only damage I did to the walls was hang a few photos up. Easily repairable with a bit of stucco. They have maintenance crews on hand with paint to match all the apartments. Not sure how they spent $80 on paint supplies...Definitely recommend living elsewhere. The tennis and basketball courts seem nice, but they are not worth the sub-par experience you will have with everything else.
The leasing staff are incredibly friendly and helpful.Leslie, Holly and Matt are awesome and super helpful. Maintenance is the best my husband and I have ever had while renting, they are extremely educated on what they are doing and are very quick to help. The staff knows everyone of their renters by first name which makes you feel appreciated. The property is very well maintained, the pools and hot tubs are clean and also well maintained. They are very understanding of Military families and their needs, which makes living here a great experience. Security is available at night and do a great job making sure all residents are safe and the property is protected. I feel safe when walking around at night or from my car late after work. Also, I know my car is safe, and dont ever worry about it being broken into. Overall, my husband and I are extremely happy with El Dorado Hills, we have lived here for 3 years and recommend it to all our military and civilian friends and families.
Nice area with friendly people. Apartments arent very big. I think our 1 bedroom apartment is 625 sq ft. Dog park area is a little small and all dirt/gravel. Dog waste stations everywhere, which is nice. Im short so everything is really to high for me. Our a.c. unit is way out of reach so I have to use an umbrella to turn it on. Same with the light/fan over the stove. Downside is people like to smoke weed in their bathrooms so the smell comes through the connected bathroom vents. Would rather not have our whole apartment smell like a skunk. 1 designated parking space is fine but a little annoying at times. There is unassigned parking throughout the complex though. Love that its a gated complex! Landscaping is really nice. You can tell there is a lot of work put into it.
Ive lived here for almost a year, and really enjoy the complex. My apartment (which is the most updated) is quite nice! Maintenance issues are fixed promptly, and there is always street parking. The assigned/covered parking spaces are admittedly pretty small, but thats really my only complaint!
Great location thats right off the freeway, but isnt noisy. Besides our reserved parking spot being a little bit far from our apartment, so far we have no major complaints. Theres a jacuzzi by us which is very nice, as well as two pools and tennis courts.
I have leave at this community going on 4 yrs. in 3 different units from renovated to non renovated. I have to say, I love leaving in El Dorado Hills. The amenities are great! I like the fact that is gated. I have had great experience since I have been there. I plan on staying until I am ready to buy a home. The office and maintenance staff are great, friendly and attentive. One thing also that stand out to me specially working in a hospitality when you walked in the office they greet you by your name. If you are in the market of looking for an apartment. I definitely recommend El Dorado Hills and dont forget to reach out to Danijela Knezevic. She is great and one of the reason, I recommend El Dorado Hills.
Would not recommend living here to anyone I know. They are unwilling to help out in anyway no matter how many times youve contacted their office or security. Weve repeatedly had issues with our neighbors for months now and they have done nothing about it so If you have an issue EVER dont even bother because they will just brush it off and hope it goes away instead of handling like like they actually run the place and like they say they will in the lease agreement that we ALL had to sign!
Yep i hate ashly
Seriously El Dorado Hills? Tirrasanta had a power outage tonight, which is bad enough, but your apartment complex has at least 3 fire alarms going off in various buildings and they have not stopped in more than an hour. The fire department came and went because there is NO fire, and they did not know how to turn them off. Your freaking alarms should not be set off by a power spike or outage in the area for this reason. All of Pendiente has been awake and waiting for your emergency person to come in, and we are all wondering why the heck you would have this person staying at their home 45 minutes away and not on site for emergencies, given they are your emergency contact...
Our move in experience could not have been better. The entire staff was great in getting us the apartment we wanted at the last minute. The community is very quiet and well kept and the area as a whole is very nice.
I was going to work this morning and a gentleman was at the corner giving out bags of breakfast items. I was a bit reluctant to stop not knowing why he was waving at me. But as different as it was, I really appreciate the gesture. Thank you.
Management does little about responding to complaints and enforcing parking rules. They are quick to jack up rent rates as well. I have lived here for three years and each year the experience has gotten worse. Also, the so-called courtesy patrol is a joke I have seen them three times in three years and only at like 5 am. Warning to all unless there is a change in management stay away to avoid the headaches. Can not wait till my lease is up to bounce.
Do not rent here. Do not rent here. Management is trrrible. My apartment had bugs in it. Lived in the apartment for 4 months and they took my whole security deposit and are making me pay for a whole new paint job on the apartment. I barely had any pictures hanging on the walls. I was very clean. They will screw you and not look at your situation on an individual basis. They go according to the rules and will not bend their back to help you out.
THIS REVIEW IS FOR PEOPLE CONSIDERING MOVING IN THIS IS AS HONEST AND FAIR AS I CAN MAKE THIS.First off how is the apartment? Well from my experience all of the appliances and interior is extremely old, outdated, and very used. The parking situation is ok if you have 1 small to medium sized car. But if you have a truck or SUV good luck fitting in the parking spots and you only get one spot if you have people over or have another car you gotta park on the street so be primed and ready to receive parking tickets if you dont crimp your wheels. Yep thats 55$ right there. When it comes to getting a good night sleep or being able to relax in your own apartment that you will be overpaying for from my experience, if you at all value peace and quiet do not move here. If its not the paper thin ceilings where you can legit here your neighbor talking or the many dogs that live here barking all night and morning then its the maintenance team banging a hammer or something in a unit next to you at 8am. Something else thats neat is that every week at 8:30 am on the dot almost some guy will come around with an extremely loud leaf blower and will just sorta walk around next to your window and go up to your front door and will linger for a solid 10 mins ensuring you are woken up. Cool little feature. Controlling your sleep is out of your hands. Its like living in a college dorm if you are unlucky you will get neighbors who will make your entire lease unbearable. Had to call the office about my neighbors around 10 times now about noise complaints and at this point there has to be some sort of California noise law this is breaking. NOW FOR THE GOOD STUFF ABOUT THIS PLACE! The staff is absolutely helpful and very nice. Not once were they rude or short even when at times I was clearly upset. They will try to help you out with things that are within there scope and ability. The location is amazing its about one of the only affordable places to live in tierrasanta. Thats the big upside to this place is that its in tierrasanta, its perfectly located near like everything you could possibly want in San Diego. So yea in conclusion if you want to live in tierrasanta but dont have the money to live someplace nicer and you also hate yourself and enjoy dog poop and spiders everywhere I would say this place is a top contender.Just a little context what gave me motivation to write this review was that the two dogs above me have been barking for an hour and its 1 am so I thought I would do a little review and let my gut hang out.
I like the place cuz it has security gate, your own parking space, comes with washer and dryer in the apartment. Clean around the apartment buildings and also around the swimming area & the club house. Club house is also available to rent out for a special occasions.
The manager Tony has been so helpful with our sons move to his new apartment. I know we can rely on him with any help. Thank you!
Apartments are ok size, not big but not too small. No central A/C which is a huge killer for me. They do have wall units in the living rooms. Very pet friendly with pet area. Friendly neighbors and workers.
Single worst complex I have ever rented from, DO NOT RENT HERE!!!issues below:1. Rodent damage to car x 2. The car parking is outside and rodents ate through my wiring. I mentioned this to management and no follow up or actions were taken. upon further inquiry multiple residents had this issue.2. EVERYTHING BROKE while we stayed there. Shower, washer/dyer - broke, garbage disposal, bedroom fan and kitchen sink all broke during out 13th month stay.3. Weve had our apartment entered at least 5 times for termites, roof repair, etc... We were also unable to use our patio for 3 weeks because of this roof repair as well.4. Dogs barking at 6am and 8pm like clock work. This is a dog friendly community but the amount of barking in the morning and at night when people walk their dogs is insane.5. Apartments are close together and your neighbors have a view of your entire apartment, the walls are also thin so privacy was an issue as well.6. Management has charged me multiple late fees on rent when their system didnt deduct auto pay that was set up. Headaches for days.7. Forget about getting your deposit back, I was charged to clean the carpet, the apartment and paint the walls/doors. When we left I had personally cleaned the apartment, washed the floors and compounded any holes made from mounting pictures/tv.If i had the energy Id take these guys to court but Im just glad I dont have to deal with them anymore.
Parking spots are small, you have to walk a distance from the street if you dont get home quick enough. The staff is nice, free access to computers/ printer/ faxer. Area is kept clean. Free 24 hour gym, close to hiking trails, nice family community in general. Two nice pools, four jacuzzis. Just got a crappy loud neighbor.
The assigned parking spots are all different sizes and mine is too small for my one vehicle, particularly when the person who has the spot next to it parks there. There are days that I get home late and there is no more first come first serve parking left so I have to park outside of the gate. I was promised about 3 weeks ago that I would be getting a bigger parking spot at the end of this month which is one day away and just got a phone call today saying that they are giving the spot to someone else. I pay too much in rent to not be able to park in the gated community. When we signed the lease we were told we were paying about $150 extra for an upgraded apartment. Lets just say that the tenants right across from us have nicer appliances, counter tops etc. and they pay less. This place is a joke, I regret signing the lease for another year.
Nice tour, seems like a nice place to live
This is the worst place that I have ever lived. Everything is a nightmare. DO NOT LIVE HERE.
Very highly priced for what you get. Small, stifling non efficient apartments. Termites infested, constant plumbing problems and parking is always an issue. Staff no longer what it used to be and leaves a lot to be desired.
These people evicted a family with an Autistic child. They were behind and catching up quickly after the father lost his job. After kicking them out they stuck them with a bill for over $10,000 when they oly owed 1 month. The parking sucks, no srorage space for anything. Families stay far away this place is to small even with 1 kid. Way over priced.
This apartment complex is Aweful. Lets start with first they charged me when I moved out for our carpet that wasnt even dirty because they have to replace it every 3 years so apparently youre responsible they will do anything to keep your entire deposit which I payed an arm and a leg for and not only that but theyll find ways to charge you extra money, the gate is always broken but you pay to live in a gated community, the Parking spots are stupid small and they park you far from your apartment and they allow residents to park in visitor parking and Im for sure their are people who park cars and let them sit so your visitors will have to park on the street or even you will! The washer/dryers are loud and terrible they burnt and tore my clothes. They do not enforce some of their policys such as not having plants on you balcony in which I was taking my dog to the bathroom and someones pot nearly hit me from the second floor but if you have christmas tree light stapled they ask for them to be taken down when there is no outside light. Most of the rooms have no lights in them, There is ALWAYS construction and is never quiet, theres always something to find wrong with your apartment and it take maintenance what feels like forever just to come and fix it and if they can fix it in a half assed temporary way they will. Not to mention one of the management in the office is horrible and inconsiderate. I wouldnt recommend this apartment to anyone and if I could give negative star rating I would.
If I could give 0 stars I would, this place was the worse apartment experience I have ever had. Parking is the worse, even if you have your own spot you physically cant get once you are parked. People are rude, not courteous at all. Property management staff loses everything or misplaces your file. This is ridiculous that has my personal information on it.Water gets shut off without any warning.Maintenance walks into your apartment: property management staff had no idea who went into my apartment. I didnt have a work order and there wasnt any emergency maintenance issues that the person would have to come in without notifying me.Its a gated community yet the walk in area you can just pull and enter. To me they cared more about the gym than anything else. In the beginning when I moved in the staff they had were awesome. Some got promoted others left.My downstairs neighbor told me that the apartment she was living in kept getting infested with rodents. I love dogs; but, we also had a neighbor that would allow her dog to pee on the patio. It was embarrassing it smelled everything up for everyone else. That person finally moved out and the smell left with the person. No matter how many times people complained about issues things didnt get resolved. Your rent gets hiked up even though I was already paying the highest when I moved in and the rent on the website for the same exact address... was less. I was going to wait to post this because I dont like people having that revenge tactic. I paid for the whole month tried to give in the keys on the 19th and they cant find my paperwork. For all the rent I paid I expected more out of the staff.I just want to be done with this place and move on... I hated my year here... we got sick often in this apartment, I complained about mold. We have been hospitalized and gone to the dr more than normal. The a.c. is a joke... doesnt Colo anything up at all unless you have all your doors closed and even then it wouldnt cool. I had all blinds closed with dark curtains to keep the apartment cool and it still was difficult. A.c would be on all day at 60 degrees and my apartment was still at 80 degrees. The washer and dryer sucks you have to wash your clothes two times. I had the most upgraded apartment and the quality of life decreased....
When I first moved in I was happy, within a short time period I couldnt get the musty moldy smell out, when a year later my carpet was finally replaced I was shown the urine soaked padding and moldy padding from the previous tenants dogs. My dishwasher broke and was replaced with a cheaper version that didnt even clean, my storage was (and still is) infested with termites. There are termites in the ceiling. Parking is a joke, Many times I struggle to find parking at night, especially not convenient if you have children. Maintenance is not good, staff is rude, rent increases significantly with each renewal of lease, appliances are substandard. Residents are prohibited from leaving anything under a stairwell (ie bike, scooter) or outside front door. The staff was rude enough to make me move my stroller and my sons big wheel inside one afternoon when it was nap time. There are MANY better places at better prices.
PARKING is a major issue. Spaces are small and cameras dont actually record hit and runs.ROACHES are all over patio and sidewalk but they refuse to remove the bark on ground they live inPREMISES are always dirty, low landscaping maintenanceWASHER/DRYER is way too small and extremely loudTHIN WALLS leave no privacy between neighbors
Watch out when you move out because they not only will take your deposit but will add hundreds off dollars more that you owe. Dont bother cleaning cause they will find a way to have you pay for new carpet and paint for the new tenant. Very untrusting company!
Lived here for a year liked it a lot
Very nice property, dog friendly nice GYM & pool
Getting better everyday with community improvements, 1900 for two bedrooms and baths is pricey considering most apartments are not up to date, but location is ideal to malls, bases, grocery stores and downtown SD.
Excellent location, friendly staff, fireplace, great neighbors
No memory of this place.
Great spot
Clean, nice apartments
Good Service

Mario is a great member on the maintenance team and is committed to getting the job done. Really appreciated his efforts for a recent service request!
