I had to cancel me back 1 week after coming in because I tried to tell them my nails were lifting and they did a fill in instead of telling me I needed another set. When I came back 1 week after getting then done 4 nails were lifting and another 1 completely come off. They made me pay full price and didn’t tell me this until after they had started doing my nails. If I could give them no stars I would. The level of rudeness is unbelievable. Please don’t stop here … find another shop!!!! They also told me what they can’t do to my nails instead of doing what I wanted!!!!

I just did a walk-in and walk-out... I do not recommend for cleanliness or friendliness. I walked out... stood at the front desk for a moment and no one even noticed.

Just got a pedicure here…. The leg massage, wax and hot towel service was really nice but the gentleman who painted my nails did absolutely horrible. The paint is uneven and all over my toes. $65 was way too much for the quality of service provided.

If you’re looking for a nail salon, stop! You’ve found the right one. They are very friendly and did a very good job on my nails and pedicure. I don’t live in San Antonio but I travel often and this is by far the best nail salon I’ve been to!!

Made an appointment around 10am for 6pm that day, walked in and they were extremely overbooked. Told the owner I was there for my appointment and was ignored. I waited ten minutes standing in the front of the building and not one employee came over to attend to me. Definitely won’t be going back here.

Brian is awesome! From the very 1st time that he has done my nails (a few months ago) till now, he has done such an amazing job. And that is why I just keep coming back to this shop. Location is clean, easy to spot from the road. The staff is nice and professional. Whatever you would like done, they will definitely try their best to accommodate you. Prices are reasonable, and considering how well they do nails here, its definitely worth what you pay.

I left with my sore nails as they broke my skin to one side, apart I do not put the color from the base, I did not stay satisfied with the work, I showed it to the man and he ignored..

Ive been going here for a while and the guy who usually does my nails no longer works there. Every other person who has done my nails has always caused me to go back to get them fixed. I decided to go in again and it was so bad I had to share almost cried on how horrible it was done. Posting a picture of what I asked for vs what I got. As soon as you dont like your nails their coworkers come over and they start talking about you in a different language and its so awkward you just wanna run out. To you directly they are always nice and thats great but this is no longer the place for me and they upped their prices which should match the quality of service done and it does not. This nail set was just ridiculously bad....

Amazing service. Fast and friendly. Technician does such a great job each and every time. She is never behind and does the job well. Shes fast but thorough. The salon has a nice atmosphere and is always clean. I high recommend coming. They also take walk-ins and last minute appointments!

Golden Nails & Spa is a very nice nail salon with very reasonable prices. I go to whoevers available and Ive never been disappointed. They all want you to leave happy and will fix any issues you have if youre unhappy. The massage chairs are the best! And the foot bath is very clean. Absolutely no complaints about this place.

Today was my first time going into golden nails & spa and I absolutely loved it. Mrs. Julie was so friendly and gave me the best pedicure & manicure! The whole treatment was perfect!

Had a nice gel pedi here, with hot stone massage. It was, which I think is fair because they usually last me 3 weeks or so. I was very relaxed and even got a back massage after. I was able to call in a pinch and essentially walk in for a service. It was a Friday evening so I got lucky. Shortly after I was taken care of, there was a wait for a few other guests. I would probably go back because its near my work place, next time Ill call in advance just in case. Also, everyone greets and says bye to you (smiley)💝

I cannot believe the service I receive here! Its been consistently great each and every time. I am pleased with how my technician will suggest things that are most beneficial to my needs and not what I desire. Also, the relaxing music and absence of stress is outstanding!!

My husband found this gem in San Antonio for me if you could believe it. I started going here since 2017 and I haven’t found a better place than Golden Nails. The top nail techs there for me are Brian, Duong and Vickie. Prices are fair for the services, the staff are extremely friendly and nice. They also have drink selections from soda to wine. Awesome place!

Great location. Look for the owner. Hes fabulous and very generous. The selections of colors varies. The workers are always on point when appointments are made and provides great service every time. Will definitely go back.

Ive visited this salon twice (for a full set and pedi service) and never left disappointed. Friendly staff. Reasonable prices. Quality work. Overall, great ambiance. They really take care of their clients. I would definitely recommend this place. Certain times of the day can get busy so probably best to call and make an appointment.

I arrived yesterday after a long flight. Coming to Golden Nails & Spa made all the travel stress melt away. Very kind people with a special touch to help you relax. They did a great job on both the manicure and pedicure. Awesome place!

Great place to go and extremely affordable. Never a long wait no matter how busy it is. Me and my girlfriend frequent this place and are never let down with the pedicures. She gets the manicures which I wouldnt know much about.

I’m from Idaho and came down to visit my sisters, by far the best nail salon I’ve ever been at, I got my nails done by Vicky, she did an amazing job. I’ve never got dipping powder before and my nails are amazing, fair prices . LOVE THE SPA PEDICURE.. they offer you wine, champagne or any beverages. I really recommend this place. All employees are polite and amazing at what they do. They take they’re time, you don’t feel rushed, just overall experience was amazing. Thank you golden mails & spa for making my vacation relaxing. 😊 definitely will be coming back again.

Its clean and they have changed to an electronic sign in system. Waiting is not too bad if you like to drink and they sit you in one of their massage chairs. Getting that right pedicure is dependent on who you get. Some times the person is awesome with your 👣 some times its just getting your toenails painted and you overpaid. Hence the 4 stars.

Ive been coming here for about a year now and dont see myself going anywhere else. They do such a good job and my shellac manis always last at least 3 weeks. They have tons of color choices and I like the way the rooms are split up. If you go with a friend they always seat you together in the same room. You usually have to call and schedule an appointment cause they book up for the day.

Pros- quick service. I was in and out with a shellac manicure in 33 minutesCons- quick service and steps normally taken during shellac manicure missed. I was rushed to choose a color. There was not alcohol applied to nail bed or nail bond applied. This salon also does wet manicures for shellac. The water swells the nails when soaking your hands prior to application of the gel polish. When the nail dries, it shrinks. This leads to decreased longevity of shellac-style manicures. Can’t say that I’ll be returning here.

This shop looks very nice but the service was horrible. My pedicure was $30 but I did not receive 1/2 of the steps! The tech kept asking if I wanted shellac. When I moved to doing my nails this person could not get the shape at ALL! In addition, the nail polish never dried and for $40 definitely not worth my time! I will definitely Never be back.

Got a pedicure here the other night, and I was pretty impressed. They have these amazing back massage chairs that you can adjust . They have a wall of just OPI nail polish to pick from, and I was really happy with the results. The tools looked clean, and they give you foam flip flops so you can move to the drying station and hang out until your nails are done.🌵🌵🌵🌵🌵🌵🌵🌵🌵🌵🌵😛

I got a new set . Long coffin nails . Within 30 minutes of leaving my nail popped off . I went back the next day and they fixed it . Within 48 hours of having my nails done . I’ve had two more nails pop off . From not even doing anything that should cause them to come off . Completely upset with the quality especially for the price i paid .

Michelle always provides excellent service. Shes friendly, listens and makes sure you get exactly what you asked for! Shes been gaining popularity so Ive started calling to make sure I have a set time with her, unfortunately, the salon is either not actually marking names down or overlapping appointments. Shes worth waiting a bit after my scheduled time but its starting to get a bit frustrating as its been happening every time

If you want a real spa experience I’d drive the extra couple miles and go to Anthony Vince Spa at La Cantera and pay the same price and get a better service. Pedicure wasn’t good at all expect the painting was done well. Heels left very rough and hardly scrubbed . I got the deluxe pedicure, $40 and a basic manicure. Was soaked in cold water. Hanna, the lady at the register perhaps the manager and owner has no customer service skills. They must stay in business because the college is very close. Hope you have better luck if you try. I just wanted to try it since it was so close to my house.

I’ve been going here since they opened a couple years ago. Have brought friends with me as well to get their services. I’ve gotten manicures (shellac, dip etc) pedicures, and used their waxing services. By far my favorite location, prior to that I tried numerous places in the area and wasn’t happy till I came here. Now I won’t go anywhere else. Have received service from probably all the nail technicians there and no complaints towards anyone. Great service!

I’ve never written a review but i had to. Worst manicure I’ve ever had. Asked for a full set shaped almond, some were square others were oval. It was such a sloppy job. My tech was nice but she was rushed and did a bad job. I had different shapes and lengths on EACH nail. Left a lot of acrylic under the nail and just was so bad. I’ve heard good things about Michelle but unfortunately wasn’t able to book with her.

I am not somebody that like to give reviews but I am going to say something because I am pretty mad at the service I received here. I live right next to this spa so it was convenient for me to go there . I got a pedicure and manicure. The manicure was done by a guy and he did a good job. The pedicure on the other hand is the most sloppiest job I have ever had. This lady cleaned under my foot not my heels and I didn’t notice that until I got home. The job she did was so bad when I realized it i ended up doing it again by myself at home. I will probably go there and get my manicure but will never get a pedicure even if is free.

I’ve come here a few times before and never had any complaints. But today I went for a shellac manicure and the lady who started doing my nails didn’t speak any English at all- she was very nice and I felt bad, but she was not doing my nails as I was requesting (shape-wise). She also whittled them down soooo short! And that was really upsetting because I told her I didn’t want them cut, I wanted the length. I asked someone to help translate for us and instead they just assigned a new guy to take over. He ended up doing the manicure okay, but to correct her mistakes on the shape he had to shorten them even more :( I was very unhappy overall with the manicure and he ended up charging me full price. That prompted me to leave this review because I feel that when you know a customer is unhappy you should at least offer a discount or something to rectify the situation. I still left a tip because it’s the holidays but I likely will not return here.

This place is horrible I came here for my Brazilian because I couldnt get on with my normal waxed Barbie at the wax bar. The lady attempted a full Brazilian wax with no gloves and even double dipped the stick. She also proceeded to use alcohol on my lady parts. I got off the table and left in the middle of it. I didnt even let her finish. She then tried to charge me full price for the wax I told her Im paying 20 gave her 20 and walked out. Im writing this almost a month after the incident thats how upset I still am at this place. I hate to leave bad reviews based on just one experience but that is unsanitary. No gloves and hot wax that had to be teeming with bacteria I doubt they throw out a whole pot after each wax. So if you are getting your eyebrows done its highly possible that you may be getting a little more than you paid for.

I always come here, and I always get my nails done by Vicky. Ive even come in with only a vague idea of what I wanted and shes always managed to do a design I love.

Way too pricey for nails that usually only last a day before breaking. My experience and the people Ive recommended there have all been bad and unforgivable. Rip off big time.

My overall experience was HORRIBLE!!!I went in with my mom and the guy who did my nail made me bleed in four different places! My mom got the ugliest half moon with a massive climp of shellac ontop!!! Afterwards the guy painted my nails with regular polish and couldnt even get the polish to my cuticle!!NAVER GOING BACK!!!!

I came here because my girl Vicky started working here. I know her quality and no one can hook it up like she can, I see lots of negative reviews, but ASK FOR VICKY!!! People are complaining about price, I paid almost twice the amount charged here, for Vickys work at her previous place. Been seeing her since 2015!
