Update: I uploaded pics of what my nails looked before I requested for a fill. My inspo (which was clearly matte), what I received (clear top coat and didn’t even fix the cuticles), and what I got after I WENT SOMEWHERE ELSE.Horrible experience I used to come here a lot when service was good and stopped cause it started being bad! A year later I tried them again today and sure enough it was a disappointment. I first asked for a fill and the guy started cutting my nails I asked him what he’s doing because I wanted a fill… long story short he ended up removing it all when I’ve only had a fill once on that set! I didn’t want a new set because I knew they weren’t going to shape it the way I want to. So off to another salon I go to get it fixed.

I went to this place wanted to do something different since I rarely do my nails. I went here because of the reviews and the nice nails on google and this place did not disappoint!! My nail technician, her name is Jin, she really took a great care of me and my nails! Since the flower I asked for, she didn’t have stickers for them so she ended up drawing my flowers by hand. I love the color selection she chose out for me!!! I will come back!!! I highly recommend coming to Jin

I took my sister and daughter for mani pedis….never again. They sat me and my daughter and yep we were both burned with the hot water. An older lady asks me what color? I ask to see the regular polish and yep they don’t even use regular polish, +15$. This guy started my feet, the older lady never came back. We watched her walk around for so long the water was now cold. My sister decides she doesn’t want a mani pedi after all. My daughter didn’t want the mani pedi anymore either and asked for a towel to dry her feet about 4 times. I declined the shellac so we could leave. She “only” charged me 30$ and this is the quality of the pedi 4 days later.This place is the definition of false advertisement. Don’t waste your money here.

Absolutely horrible service. Just went to get a full set of nails, the guy did a half fast job, was very rough with my hands, made me bleed by filing the side of my nails too hard, top of my nails are rough and he did not put a top coat on the ends. Seriously horrible service. I will not return!

Went in for a mani & pedi. Guy didnt use any Cuticle softer and cut me on two toes. Clipped the sides of my nails instead of filing. Filed the shellac after putting it on. Towels werent even warm. Then shoves my socks & shoes on, Takes me to pay. Didnt even get my mani & the shellac is already peeling.The worst pedi Ive ever had and not one second of it was relaxing.

This place is hands down the BEST nail salon in SA! Maybe in Texas! They understand shape and color and everything that matters when getting a good set! You don’t even need to go through a book and pick a color here because you just show them a picture or tell them your idea and they MAKE IT HAPPEN! Everyone who works here is so talented at what they do but my fav is Richard! I can’t say enough great things about him! He pays attention to detail and makes sure that my nails are picture perfect every time I go! Make sure you tip FAT bc they deserve it!

Im upset because they charged me 70.00 for a pedicure that was supposed to be 40.0 0 and 60.00 for my friends which was supposed to be 30.00. They kept giving us drinks and we were having fun come to find out the next today they over charged me double the amount . What a sneaky way to do business. I paid the 70 dollars and gave an 18% tip and when I paid for my friends I paid 30.00 no tip when I saw bank account the next day they overcharged me for her 30 making it 60 I will never go back again!!!!!

Best place to get nails done

Dont go here unless you want your real nails to break. paid $80 for a set only lasted a week. 3 of my real nails tore half way on my finger nail. Its going to take months to repair. had the healthiest nails before too. Filed them down way to thin & made acrylic WAY to thin. came back showed them my finger nail thats half missing & the other 2 that tore really low & still charged me to take them off. ridiculous & unprofessional. now I have to wait at least 2 months to get fake nails again.

Paul did my manicure and pedicure and did such an incredible job. I’m pretty picky about acrylics and dip powder, and I’ve never had more perfectly shaped nails, and he was so kind and attentive to detail and was very polite about all my requests. The pictures don’t really do my nails justice; they look better in person. I personally thought the price for my nails was very reasonable, especially considering the quality of the work.I really can’t say enough good things about Paul. I wouldn’t trust anyone else to do my nails.Edit: Paul no longer works here, and no one will say anything about where he went. However, I started seeing Raymond for my manicures and he also does an incredible job, and my last manicure with him is the best manicure I’ve ever had. Some of the other nail artists aren’t very friendly, but Raymond is very nice with a great eye for detail.

First off, let me just say I LOVE THIS PLACE! They’re staffed by some of the best nail techs in SA, which is really hard to come by in this city! STACY DOES MY NAILS and I can’t think of one time she’s ever done a set for me that I didn’t LOVE!!! I always get soooo many compliments on my nails!!

I had a pretty good experience. I did not wait long even being a walk in. I think I sat down for less than 60 seconds actually. Jasmine did my pedicure and it was great. She was really sweet and attentive and very caring and considerate. Paul did my manicure and was kind. He did a really great job. He even suggested a simple design that I hadnt originally asked for but I ended up being in love with. The only downfall is that things are a little bit pricey but due to the great customer service I will be going back.

Once again! It does not matter which location you go to! They never fail to amaze me 🙂

Went in for a new set of dipped nails. Sadly, the quality is poor. There is not a single nail that does not have bumps or smeared top coat. I really wanted to like this place. I’m disappointed.

I rarely get my nails done, but decided to treat myself and try this salon for the 1st time. I got there around 4 on a monday and was taken back for a pedicure immediately. Timmy serviced my feet while I relaxed and it was awesome, he did a great job with the shellac polish, very clean and neat. Raymond handled my manicure, he was quick and efficient and attentive to the details, even stopping to correct a very minor wrinkle after I washed my hands at the end of the service. My total time spent there was 1 hr and 45 mins, and it seemed like I got there before the rush. Although I dont have much experience with getting my nails done I was very happy with my results and experience at SA Nails Spa 1 and look forward to going back.

Wife and I went for pedicures, They sat me down and started with my wife. First, they burned her her with the water, they rushed her service, and left the polish uneven. Once, I saw him almost done, I told him I didn’t want mine done. I told them I wanted both at the same time with 2 different people. Once we pay, they charged $5 dollars more. On top of that the scumbag tries to keep an additional $5 dollars from my change! Never go here!!!

I don’t think the sanitation is up to par..I went and they used an old file, old buffer, and tools that were not pre packaged..I didn’t see an auto clave anywhere. Just beware.. hope I don’t catch anything fungal. Other than that the guy was nice... but not very communicative on what I wanted. I asked if they had POLYgel and they said yes. And proceeded to put regular gel polish on me...

Ive been following SA Nails Spa for about a year on FB and decided to take the leap and try them out. I will not be back. They have signs everywhere that say Check your nails but when I asked my nail tech to fix a couple things, he wanted to argue with me. Super uneven, thick and sloppy.

I’ve been coming here plenty of times but received the worse customer service today. I took my friend here knowing we will be taken care of but got the opposite. My friends nails wasn’t even the same length. We requested for the regular pedicure and ended up getting one with shellac. I’m not sure what the confusion was because we even said the price & kind that we wanted only to be told at the end that they do not do regular anyone because of Covid...

It took them 3 hours to give me a fill in. The guy in the front is very rude.

Im very disappointed in my service I had done. I used to come here all the time pre-covid, this is my 1st time back in almost a year and a half, I guess there are new owners, I arrived here a little after 10 and they still werent open. As I was getting out of my car I saw employees opening the door and going inside. When I stepped in the lights were still off. Service has overall just gone down hill. I wont be returning.

My best friend and I went and asked for something very simple that included one nail being rose gold sparkles. They only had one choice of rose gold sparkles and when I asked them what else they had they gave me a completely different color from what I wanted and when I said I don’t really like any of these because they weren’t rose gold they said “ I don’t know what you want “. After that they were rushing and weren’t being very nice and they were being very short. The man who did my nails left and went to be on his phone after I washed my hands the man doing my friends nails had to finish them and when I tried to ask him to touch up the shape he shushed me. So we left unhappy, unsatisfied and with bad nails.

Be prepared to pay more than their advertised costs! They do not offer regular polish - only shellac or dip. The pricing on their book says includes polish, but then you are forced to pay $15 extra for shellac... because they dont offer polish....

This place is horrible. I came here a year ago with my sister for pedicures...they helped her and left me sitting with half done feet for hours. So its now a year later and we go for manicures, once again she is helped and Im sitting here right now as we speak 2 hours later and no one has assisted me. But Ive seen several people come in after me sit right on down. Thank you for letting me save my money. I will never patronize this business ever.

I went here because of the rating and was let down completely. My daughter asked for coffin shaped nails and got idk what a few coffin shaped and a few squares plus they were uneven. Now my nails were the shape I wanted but the nails on 2 fingers on my right hand was longer than the left and on top of all that the charged use an extra $5 each for shellac $50 each when the menu clearly says $45 no designs or nothing we wont be going back

This place reeked of acetone, was blasting creed-ish music, and had fingernails/fingernail dust all over the table during mymanicure. I walked out with a headache and a very meeeh gel mani/pedi.

I heard about this place from their Instagram ads and was intrigued by the variety of colors and styles they did. The place is very far from where I live but its worth it as I always leave pleased. Every time I look down at my hands and feet I smile! 😍😍😍 Bob does a fierce stiletto shape 💅 and confirms youre happy throughout the process. I also noticed that everyone seems really into their job. I see them showing each other pics of their work and talking amongst themselves on technique. Thats a good sign they strive for quality. 💙

Let girls come and go whenever they signed in, when I got my nails done they started breaking off two days later. Unprofessional Jin in the front with customer service, doesnt communicate until you complain about the wait.

Horrible!! Had to wait almost 45 mins which I wasn’t too bothered by. The the lady who did my nails was so rough I said ouch about 5 times! She literally handled my nails like I was a manikin or something. Asked for coffin and she gave me square. Told her several times I don’t like the shape which she tried to fix at the end and hurt like hell. And my nails barely lasted 2weeks before they started lifting. Waste of $65

I love it here. I go to Mia and she does my nails free style every 2 weeks and they are perfect. Jay sits next to her and gets me a complimentary wine and slays nails all day also. This salon is clean friendly and comfortable. I love it here!!!!

It had been a while since I had gotten my nails done and I’m new to town so I was skeptical of going to SA nails spa 1, but I’m glad I did! I walked in and was seen within ten minutes and I loved how my nails came out! Will go again :)

Nails looked good. One broke the second day. Experience not great. First nail technician became annoyed when there was a miscommunication of what I wanted. Second nail tech did a good job but the nail broke after two days..I came in early to get the one nail fixed and was told I had to wait for two full sets....I’m not impressed. I’ll stick to my usual nail shop in the future

I went in and asked for a simple design and he said he could do it. I kept telling myself trust the process and I was wrong they look horrible and he knew it too because he laughed and just charged me $50 instead of the $80 he was told to charge me. I hate them I’m so sad and disappointed, if you knew they were bad why not have someone fix them instead of laughing at them and sending me on my way?!

My daughter actually went to get her nails done for her military ball and Stacey did her real nice with the nails.. I think weve found our permanent nail salon.. ❤❤❤❤

All the good nail techs have left this salon and I personally don’t think it’s worth the wait anymore. Doesn’t matter the day or time, you will be waiting. I use to come in all the time and loved it. But the last three times the wait has been so long (45 minutes plus) that I end up just leaving. The last time they placed me next to a loud women who came in after me but was seen before me.... she had her phone on speaker and was talking about personal matters loudly and kept taking her mask off. This place was great at one point but now it’s just too busy and kinda ghetto.

I was there two days ago for a new set for taking off my old nails they cut my actual nail and they make two of my fingers bleed.after I call and reported to the manager they offer me $10 discount next service this is ridiculous....very bad customer service I am not recommending SA nails to anybody.

First off, this is a higher end nail salon with a TON of options, so you get exactly what you pay for. I walked in having no idea what I wanted and they helped me out tremendously.I ended up with a full set, with black powder and chameleon glitter! I am in love with my nails. I would recommend this place to anyone who likes to ad flair to their nails or wants to try out new designs.

This place is good if your looking for something BASIC. Its too expensive for the quality they give. They have cheap rhinestones that fall off after a few days and they arent really good at shaping nails. DONT WASTE your money here. Two weeks after getting them done ^ I paid $80...

Natalie did an amazing job and took her time and put effort!! I love them ! The only problem was one of the nail tech I will not say her name out she took my phone and didn’t give it back also she didn’t even know where she put it until a costumer found it then she didn’t want to do my nails because she said they were going to take forever uhmmm ma’am but you are a nail tech and your getting paid plus getting a tip ??? No cool but instead Natalie took me and did my nail I gave her $40 as tip because she deserves it !

Amy is so personable and provides high quality professional pedicures, manicures and other services. I had a facial with her and it literal took 10 years off my face! I highly recommend Amy at SA Nails.

I initially had a good experience, the atmosphere was nice and I got some much needed relaxation. It was my first time getting a pedicure, I had selected the $30 one. The person I had added some powder I guess to shape a couple nails and gave me shellac instead and it ended up coming to $60 without me knowing so I was upset about that. To add to that, the nails he added powder to came out bulgy and oddly shaped.The manicure came out nice, and I was pleased when I left, however, it only lasted 5 days before my nails started lifting and getting ready to come off. Ill probably have them removed later. Kind of a disappointment since I had been wanting to try this salon for a while now. Wont be returning.

I came to get my nail and it hasnt been a week yet. My nail broke and I had to come two days later. I move the next couple of days and another nail broke. The quality was okay, but the nails easily break. AND the original nail tech who was suppose to do my nails never showed up. I really paid $80 for a set that keeps breaking.

I have only been to SA Nails once, so this review is based on my first & only experience there. The space is nice, relatively well decorated, and seems clean. Staff was able to get us seated for Deluxe Pedicures right away. The pedicure itself was nice - exfoliation, massage, paraffin wax, hot towels, etc. I do wish they had done a better job with the shaping and filing of the nails. Some were still a bit misshapen or jagged when I left. There was no wall of polishes to select from, so you have to pick based on the swatches they provide for gels - both color swatches I selected looked nothing like the polish they brought to me. I totally understand that swatches can fade & get discolored, but I think there are ways to alleviate that issue so the color selected is accurate. It felt strange that they asked us to leave a review while we were seated in the chair - my experience isn’t over yet! The paint job wasn’t great in the end & large parts of my nails weren’t painted. They also did not have (or did not offer) drying fans or drying spray to dry the polish. We were allowed to sit for about 5 minutes to air dry the polish but then felt rushed out of there by staff. The polish wasn’t finished drying & rubbed off of multiple toes by the time I got home. It’s also strange that they do not have a designated reception area - I imagine they wanted more space for manicure tables but it’s weird to be standing right on top of multiple people getting their nails done trying to pay for your service! Per reviews, it seems like they do a better job with nails rather than pedicures, so I may go back & try that service to see if I have a better experience. I was excited by all of the positive reviews on Google but will have to return & see if this was just an off day for SA Nails or what!

I am from California and I have never been to a nail spa like this - Hawaiian fruit pedicures, organic scrubs with hot rock massage, champagne pedicures, every kind of manicure, and amazing facials. It is so much more than its street appeal. You will walk into a serene, hip environment with good music, soothing atmosphere and spirited drink menu. Now let’s talk about the staff... Peter and Jasmine - professional, kind and patient - with no pressure. This review is heartfelt and genuine. I was sent to SA nail spa 1 by my daughter who now lives in SA as a CA transplant and she loves this town! Wish I lived here so I could return as a regular customer. I have been going to Shawn regularly for about a year now. He is the best at what he does and makes sure to listen to your ideas as well as suggest some others. He pays so much attention to detail and makes sure you leave with a perfect set. He is very friendly which makes it easy to collaborate on ideas and work together to make sure you are leaving with what you want . The facility is very clean as well with good music. Highly recommend!

Excellent service and reasonably priced. There hasnt been one nail design Ive shown them that theyve said they couldnt do. They are quick, very polite and professional. The complimentary drinks are an extra added bonus. Bob was the best of the best. They all are as far as I can tell. Glad I finally found a solid nail spot in SA! 😊

Kevin did a fantastic job! Its been 4 weeks since Ive been to SA Nail Spa and besides being a little grown out, these nails still look perfect! Usually from other salon experiences around the 3 week mark, nails start to lift- I was pleasantly surprised that I wasnt having any trouble grabbing/clutching etc towards the end of the month. Ive already set up my appointment for my new fill and cant wait for my gorgeous new nails. Go to Kevin!!! Hes so talented and really friendly. :) Definitely set an appointment to make sure you arent waiting.

We went to SA Nail Spa on a whim and it was fantastic! My mother in law, two step daughters and myself. We got three full sets and a regular polish for the youngest.Regan did my set and she was amazing. Very attentive and detailed. I absolutely love my set! Mine are tapered white and glitter ombré. I am in love 😍 ❤️ I will be back for sure!!!

This place is excellent. I have never been to SA nails before but Shawn has been my nail tech for 2 years now. Wherever Shawn goes, I will follow. He is the best nail tech in San Antonio and SA nails is so lucky to have him. He brings in such great clientele it’s crazy. The receptionist here are great, too. They immediately offered me something to drink quickly after I signed in and I was started on in less than 10 minutes. Excellent customer service and staff!

Tee is the best nail tech I’ve had and I faithfully come see her every two weeks! I’m never disappointed and she always takes care of me! Definitely ask for her if you come here! My shape is always great and she does amazing designs.

Peter gave an amazing pedicure and he was really nice!! Tommy also accommodated me with what I wanted. He was very nice and funny. He made my experience amazing. Him and Jeana also fixed me up when i came back in to get another top coat. They were very understanding and I appreciate that. I’ll definitely be back :)

I’ve been to this nail salon twice now and I highly recommend going to Kevin and Bob. Kevin did and amazing job turning what started off horrible into my favorite nail set I’ve ever had. I sat down to get a new full set of acrylics and the guy I sat with initially started to pry off my old set with a fake nail tip. He did it so poorly that it peeled a chuck of my nail off all the way down to the nail bed and it started to bleed. It was so painful I cried and I felt so embarrassed to cry. I asked if I could sit with someone else and Kevin sat me with a new person, a girl this time. After the girl finished removing my old set Kevin moved me to his station and he took over. He was very gentle and thorough. He pays very close attention to detail and he apologized many many times for what happened earlier. He’s very kind and talented and he made my nails look amazing. He didn’t charge me and gave me a gift card for next time which he didn’t have to do but was very sweet of him and I will be returning to him. He made sure my nails weren’t hurting and made them look exactly how I wanted them. Thank you so much for taking care of me and turning a bad experience into such a positive one.

Came in, and they were extremely quick and attentive when it came to getting my mom and I seated as well as drinks! Peter did an excellent job with my nail services. I felt extremely cared for, and not rushed at all! I would definitely recommend coming here. Not to mention their nail art is BOMB!

I came in on a busy Friday evening. Jasmin got to work on my feet right away and it was so relaxing. The massage was awesome and the polish looks perfect. I have some trust issues with Shellac and she talked me through it with some different solutions. Nice spa. Nice staff. I will definitely come back!!

Went in for a fill, they Attended me super quick and did a great job!However I feel their prices for a fill is a bit much - 40 not including tip. I know I wasn’t the only one shocked by the price, the lady next to me was so upset she paid for two fills and couldn’t believe the price. Sooo you are better getting a full set with the small price difference in my opinion

I’ve had such a hard time finding a place that does my nails to my liking and finally after searching San Antonio I found it! Everyone is super friendly here I really felt comfortable and they had me laughing. It’s far for me but I will definitely make the trip! I was undecided on what I wanted to do with my nails and the manager picked for me and I wasn’t disappointed! Ladies, you definitely need to go here you won’t regret it! 😌

I loved it! After tired all day running all over town, it was my first time coming. We called ahead to check if any wait list, caught at perfect timing I was taken care of in a quick and attentive way. SA nails is top notch when it comes to nails! Their service is incredible. Love watching music videos while getting a massage from their chairs and did I mention their courtesy drinks :) I feel amazing every time I leave their place.

This was my first visit to SA Nail Spa, the place os clean and nicely decorated. I was mostly impressed with my nail technician Bella, she was nice and very professional. I opted for the Deluxe pedicure, and was very pleased from start to finish. Bella also did an excellent job hand painting a flower on my big toe. I also got a shellac manicure and was equally pleased with that. Thank you Bella!

I will alwaysss come here, the very first time I went a girl who looked like she barely started working there did my nails, I was ok with them but one of the guys there looked at them and immediately re did all my nails. Most places will just let you walk out but he insisted on fixing them. :)

Shawn has been my favorite nail tech for a long time now, and he’s at sa nails spa 1! He always does my nails exactly how I like them, and I’m always so happy with my coffin shape and the uniqueness of my nails. Also, I like the aesthetic and the cleanliness of the salon, it’s something that Iv always cared about when going to get my nails done. So, I highly suggest it.

So exactly one week ago my mom and I’d decided to go try SA nails. We showed up not 15 minutes before closing and they still took us in to do a deluxe pedicure (Done by Nam, Peter & Paul) and dip manicure (Done by Wendy & Bella). I loved that they stayed open late for us and didn’t turn us away or rush the experience. They all took the time to sit and explain to us the types of services they offered which most places don’t. And they did an excellent job! A week later our nails are still looking amazing through a pool day, errands, dishes and I just started a hands on job and they’re still on. So are our designs. I wish I could upload a pic but it’s not letting me. We will be returning!

I just moved to Texas. I wanted to try a new shop due to the others not having good service. So I went online to look for another shop. Actually SA NAILS invited me to their Facebook page to follow. So I viewed the pictures and fell in love. I brought my mom and she loved it. Everyone is nice. The prices aren’t expensive. I usually get my nails done by Peter and Tee. I would strongly recommend for you to come here. I love it 🥰
