I wanted to love this place but my dip nails literally lasted 3 days without cracking. They have a sign outside that says that they will not fix nails as a courtesy after 2 days. I’ve never heard of such thing.Very poor quality products, like i said, nails literally chipped on day 3, when normally dip doesn’t start to chip until at least day 14. I also want to mention that my technician literally dropped the dipping powder allll over the floor, and just scooped it right back into the container. Seemed a bit unsanitary if you ask me.I will not be returning to this place.

Best Nail Salon Ever! I havent been to a nail salon in a long time. I am so happy that I chose Melody Nails for my fresh Dip Nails. I love my nails! Cindy did a great job and she is so friendly. My daughter got her first set ever. The guys answered all of my questions and we chose dip nails for my girl. We will definitely be back (in 2-3 weeks)! ❤️Back again! Still wonderful amazing service!

Most relaxing trip ever. The pedicure was amazing and I usually can not handle pedicures because I am so ticklish, but it was wonderful. Everyone was extremely nice AND they have margaritas. Quality was amazing as well. Definitely going back!

Went in for a pedicure and did not have an appointment (preferred since covid 19) but they were able to squeeze me in.My feet were just awful because it had been months since my last pedi. Julie (not sure how to spell her name) was the technician who helped me and she was wonderful, super sweet. Actually everyone there was very polite and helpful.I love how my toes turned out. Would highly recommend and will for sure go back.

I showed the lady inspirational pictures of the nails I wanted but she looked at me as if she didn’t know how to do that. So I went with a basic white coffin set. She was messing up a lot and got frustrated, I felt the tension. I ended up leaving upset on how my nails looked and the poor experience I had.

Im very upset with this salon. I got my nails done on Wednesday and 2 of them started peeling yesterday which was Thursday. Also, I didnt even realize my cuticle/ finger was bleeding until I left the salon. I went back today and Tony fixed them which was who did them to begin with rushed and 1 of the 2 he fixed has a bubble now, not even a day later. I wont be going back. The attached pictures are the day they were done, the finger that was bleeding, and Yesterday when they started peeling and the 1 nail now.

Hands down the best customer service i have received at any nail salon. I went 30 minutes before closing and my sister and I were taken care of with a smile and very meticulous job. My nails looks incredible!! Will recomend to everyone and will be there from now on!

This was my first time checking this place out, I’ve always been hesitant on getting my nails done. Last time I did they acrylics tore my nail bed and it was a bloody mess. As soon as I entered Michael was great and got me set up for my pedicure with Alan (who did a great job and was so nice!) and after that Ana did my nails and I literally can’t stop looking at them. She did a great job with the ombré and the shape, I’m already getting a lot of compliments on them!

Called in to get a same day appointment for a full set and pedicure with my preferred technicians which are Thai and Julie, when I arrived I was told they were no longer there.. instead of telling me this prior to making my appointment.. they then were rude when I decided to cancel my appointment with a random technician they decided to give me. Today I had an appointment at 1 pm for pedicures for me and my son. I was never even acknowledged and the walk in people got seen before me. What’s the point of having an appointment!?!?I left after a full hour of waiting. Disappointed to say the least.

First time ever there and all I can say WOW! They are so safe,clean,professional and great work! I scheduled appointment in advance went in got temperature checked washed hands and straight to my service. Love love love my new set of nails can not wait for my next visit. Thank you for keeping this germaphobe hypercondrict safe during this pandemic period.

The place is awesome! Every time I come here I get taken care of quickly even when they are very busy. I love it so much here that I’m okay with waiting when they are behind. They are also always up to date on all trending styles which is a huge plus for me. The manager is wonderful, always making sure customers are taken care of. Amazing staff and easily one of my favorite nails spots in SA.

I was shopping at the South Park mall and saw this place on my way out. I have only gone to two nail places for several years. Due to I needed a pedicure and manicure I decided to try Melody Nails & SPA. Victor did a fabulous job on my nails. I forgot to get the young lady name who did my pedicure. She was younger than the other females. She did a good job also. The customer service was good.

This was by far the BEST EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD AT A NAIL SALON !!!! Vy, Julie and Thai we literally amazing. I got my eyebrows done, full pedi and full set ! Prices were great people were great ! I will be back !!

I absolutely love coming here! Victoria does an amazing job at my pedicure’s, and Genna always blows me away with dipping on my nails! Both techs are very knowledgeable about products and answered all my questions I had. The salon also serves wine & margarita’s which is a huge plus after a long day at work! I’ve been going to Victoria for over 6 months now and I can say I found my go to nail tech in San Antonio! Consistently making my nails amazing each time. She always listens and makes sure they’re exactly how I want them. Not only do they look amazing, but I haven’t broken one nail (which used to happen all the time) since I’ve went to her. She’s the bomb👏🏻

The owner was so nice and would occasionally check up on us and make sure we had everything we needed. They offer a free drink or margarita which was a fun bonus! And the person doing my nails was awesome! I would definitely recommend this place. Not only do they have great customer service but their location is also so clean and organized!

Since opening they have been my go to nail salon. Jenna is awesome as well as the rest of the nail technicians. Recently my daughter came in from Houston for her engagment party and wanted to treat her bridal party to pedicures/manicures. Even on short notice and with our limited time schedule they accommodated all of us, even on a busy Saturday. They took their time and made all of feel pampered. Kudos Melody Nails on Potranco.

Always excellent. Its been months since Ive been able to treat myself and this is the first place to come to mind. Great service, super friendly. We brought our kids with us this time and they took care of them as if they too were customers. My husband and I both got different pedicures and I got a set of solar nails and they all turned out fantastic. Definitely recommend, definitely returning.

Not the best quality. I got matte dip done. Supposed to be a midnight blue (as in the pic I showed them). They looked black. They failed to tell me the matte makes the color 2 shades darker. Also they kept breaking off without much force. Within 3 days the matte started peeling off. I made 4 trips in 4 days for some type of repair to be done. Only a week had them done and now Im just prying them off so I can go where I normally go. $60 was what I paid for just very poor quality!

Me and my two sisters just came in at 740pm to get manicures. I understand they close at 8pm but if you’re going to stop accepting customers at 730pm then maybe say you close at 730 and not say you close at 8. I’ve been to nail places that will accept customers 5 minutes before they close and don’t mind. Thats how restaurants and businesses are. My sister comes here regularly and said she won’t return now!

Love this place!! Michael is always so welcoming and knows customer by names. That goes to show that I am not just a $$ sign. My technician Alan is super awesome! He is thorough and I love how he makes my toes look pretty. Thanks guys

This was a great experience today! My best friend and I went for pedicures and they were amazingly relaxing! Massage chairs and wine and the gentlemen who assisted us (Mike and Alan) were AWESOME! There is new ownership and they are definitely making improvements on customer service! Every employee greeted us or helped us in some way. We will definitely go back! Best experience at a nail salon I have ever had. Julie’s work was perfection and the customer service provided by all of the staff was impeccable. My sister and I will only go here from now on. Came to get my teenage daughters nails done for the New Year. They took very good care of her and my little one as well who wanted to sit and watch the process done. I had a bad experience here a year ago however I decided to give them another chance since they have been operating under new management. I have to say I am very impressed with the changes, and focus on quality and customer service. They get you in and out quickly, no long waits, and the quality of the work is fantastic. I highly recommend.

Will Never go to them again. After going there since they first opened I have never had a problem with getting the 10% Military discount until today. Today I was told I had to fight to a war in order to get it and that it was ONLY for active duty. I dont have a problem with it only being for active duty but that should have been said for day one. And what about retirees? Does that mean they dont get it either? For the record I may not have serviced active duty but I did a lot during my husbands service. When my husband retired I was retired too

I absolutely loved this place!!! The people are super nice and friendly, Its also very clean. Tony was my nail tech, and he did an awesome job! He paid attention to every little detail and took his time.

Paid $30 for a mediocre full set. Pressured to do other services. 4 days and my thumb nail has broken off and polish looks horrendous. Even if its only acrylic, shouldnt look like this. Thankfully I can doctor them up before I go to a different salon.

I went late Saturday afternoon to get a full set they did them so thin 3 have broken by day 2. I wanted flowers on my ring finger he said my nails were too short instead of giving other suggestions I asked to make it glitter he completely ignored me. Definitely not worth the $38

My tech had a bit of an attitude when I asked him to make my dip nails a little thicker. He then left them very tick and didnt file down the edges. I also had to go home and redo my own top coat because he kept messing it up. I wont be back.

So I went Thursday to get my nails done thinking it normally takes 1hr. After 1 hour and a half I had to leave to work and they didn’t finish which was my fault because I didn’t leave enough time. The manager said I can come back to have them fixed. I came in today so they could be finished. The lady he sat me with did an ok job. Well it’s been 2 hours since they fixed them and now the clear coat is already chipping on them. I had high hopes for this place. Not coming back.

After having a bad experience and having my mind set to not go back! I called and talked to the manager Michael, he apologized and asked me to come back in. He wanted the techs to fix what was wrong. Also he wanted me to feel comfortable. I’m glad i went back in because i got a chance to meet Julie!!!!!! Not only did she do an amazing job on my nails, she educated me on what she was doing, and what i need to do to maintain my nails healthy. Julie also made me comfortable to where we had conversations not only about my nails but i also got a chance to talk about my family. I will definitely be going back and taking my daughter with me. I went in for the first time and LOVED everything about my experience! Gina did my pedi and was AMAZING! Ty did a new set of nails, and his nail sculpting was so on point! They are under new management and really treat you well, not just a dollar bill to quickly fill a chair and get out!

Never again!! They will up change with ever chance they can get !! Even on a 6 year old !! All she wanted was to just paint her nails and the brochure said $10 but they added shellac with out telling me !! When telling them, they over change me for her. The lady at cash out called her over and said. come on I take them off no more for you !!!! wow really to a little girl.. I spent over $250 !!! Most of it on up charges and to add to it all not one drink was offered to 5 of us !! Everything was just horrible!! $250 and 4 hours I will ever get back !!!!!!!! BBB will be hearing from me and my family!!! And to the man with the mole on his neck I know you are the owner and you heard everything and just walked out, not even one word from you !! Way to go👏

Id had my nails done for a premium and it didnt last as long as expected. I returned and was pleasantly surprised when Julie fixed someone elses work for no additional charge. Ill definitely be coming back.

My first and only visit resulted in an infected toe. Not an ingrown toenail, but an infected toe due to the manner in which my pedicure was done. Med clinic staff said not properly cleaning salon tools is a major issue. It resulted in antibiotics and a bill. Not cool!

I’ve gone here a few times with good experiences but these past two times were consecutively terrible. The first time I walked in for a full solar set, asked for plain polish and coffin shape. The nail tech shaped them terribly, some nails were shorter and thicker than others, polish was placed on uneven and within 2 weeks they had broken off. The second time I came in for a fill with a different tech, arrived about an hr and a half before they closed and was given attitude as if they didn’t want anyone to walk in anymore. To top it off it took an unnecessary 2 hrs to do a simple fill and she had cut almost all my fingers with the electric nail file and made me bleed. Fair enough to say I won’t be coming back.

Awesome new staff and management. I loved my Nu Skin Pedicure by Victoria and Anise (I spelled it wrong). The Nu Skin treatment feels amazing!!!! Anise did a great Shellac as well. Definitely my two new nail techs. Both made sure my lines were super crisp and paid attention to detail.

I just went here today to get a pedicure. I waited with my feet in the water for about 15 minutes. Than the girl came up. I told her I wanted the spa pedicure. I told her I liked my toenails short. She trimmed them, filed them used the cuticle pusher then used a little scrub on my legs and slapped some polish on. Thats it. She never cleaned or scrubbed the soles of my feet, no massage, no buffing of the nails. She never removed the big dry cuticles on my little toes and she didnt even bother putting lotion on my feet so 5 seconds after I left, they were super dry and flakey. Forgive me if I ask for too much, but I have gotten these basics things with every other pedicure I have ever gotten. And on top of that my polish looks amateur and crooked. I dont think I have been so angry and disappointed with a nail service before in my life. I hate getting into confrontations with people so I didnt bother speaking to the manager, I just left as quickly as I could. And I am not ever going back. I highly recommend you go somewhere else, as every other nail salon I have ever visited in San Antonio is a big improvement over this one.

Got my full set shellac. They are very nice and also very good at doing your nails the way you request. I do recommend them.

I wanted a simple chrome power done on my nails. They didn’t understand. I then asked for basic black nail polish. The tech did not understand this either. I ended up with tacky black speckles on my nails, without a base coat. I won’t be returning. Ever.

Do not waste your time or money here, unless you want to support a business that is unprofessional and rude. My wife got her nails done here and had a bad experience, they cut her toe and it was bleeding and painful the next day. They also were in such a hurry they didn’t let the nail light stay in long enough so the polish was average at best. To make matters worse. She posted a review of her experience and the company had the audacity to tell her it was her fault for being picky. Well guess what, as a customer it’s her right to be picky and not satisfied over subpar service. The fact this nail spa wrote back and blamed her for not being happy of their terrible service is enough to tell everyone to stay away from this place! This business is unprofessional and it’s unacceptable to blame the customer. If you like being talked down to and having your nails hurt after, then sure go waist your time and money at this establishment. Huge failure.

The staff was friendly and the salon was clean but my pedicure was sub-par. Ive gotten much better pedicures for the same price or cheaper at other salons. I cant speak for any of their other services but I wont go back there for a pedicure

Location: 1604& Potranco!!!So disappointed!! It was my 1st time and will not be going back. My nail tech couldnt understand what I wanted even with a picture I showed her. It took so much patience out of me to stay calm . I started to notice she was getting frustrated and I still kept calm. 1 nail was crooked and she tried to say it wasent but I asked to remove it and fix it. She looked upset. But once I noticed my nails.looked in no way like I asked. I couldnt take it anymore. I finally told her to just stop. And I would.go somewhere else to get them done. I paid her 32$ even tho I notice another nail crooked. I know she tried but I am not going to stay if it wasent wat I asked for. If I could have.given no stars I would but unfortunately its not an option!!!!

Allen is the best pedicurist EVER! Ive been around the world and havent had a pedicure like the kind he gives. I recommend him hands down.... and im VERY choosy.

The salon is extremely clean! All the furniture and equipment used by the nail techs are mordern. They practice good sanitation skills. I also love how theyre able to give me a nice SNS manicure! It was a nice paradise and they offer relaxing comfortable time

Very nice salon but I was not impressed by the services I received. I had to change my polish twice because they could not find the number I chose, but I had no issue with that. I always do shellac on my toes so my polish will not rub off in my boots. However, my polish began chipping on day 2 and that is unacceptable when they charge an extra $20 just for shellac.
