I will grant that Ive never had a manicure, so I was expecting my hands would require a bit of effort to give them the look of a well groomed gentleman.The manicurist barely looked at what she was doing. Seriously. She clipped my long nails by sight, sort-of. But, when it came time to sand the edges smooth, she glanced at my hands, but spent the whole time looking around at the other operators. When I got home and took a closer look at how unevenly trimmed the result, I thought it was wrong. I sent the attached AFTER pictures to a friend who would know,, and proceeded to receive an earful about how shabby the job was.I went back and soaked my fingers, pushed back and clipped my cuticles, and sanded the nails to smoothly follow the finger contours. I wanted my fingers manicured for a black-tie wedding out of town. This was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for the manicurist to turn my work-worn hands into those of a well-groomed gentleman, and those fingers pictured were the result.

I used to love coming here. They were friendly, attentive, and USED to do my nails beautifully. The nail techs USED to take just the right amount of time to ensure I and my nails got the attention I was paying for. The last 2 times have been rushed and rude! All Ive ended up with is messy looking nails, gel nail polish on my skin, and achy bloody cuticles! Time to search for somewhere new and I hate that! Its so hard to find nail salons that will do my nails the way I like!☹

I just love this place. Vanessa is excellent at what she does. I ask for for every time. Vans nails makes you feel so at home and comfortable. Everyone is very nice and always treats you with a smile. If you’re looking for a relaxing experience with quality then Vans is it. Vans takes the time on each customer and I never feel rushed. They take their time with each individual. I highly recommend Vans.

Been going to this salon for almost 2 years.Get my nails and pedicure with Lamda. She is the sweetest and very talented.I’ve had issues before with my ingrown nail and tried different places and none were able to help me out... until I found Lamda she was very quick to help me out and take care of it.Great prices as well!

One helped my mom with her pedicure/foot massage. We let her know that my mom has diabetes and she was very gentle and careful taking care of my mom and making sure she was comfortable. I love that she took care of my mom and for that reason Im giving 5 stars. Thank you ❤

We were sitting down waiting to get a pedicure when the lady was doing the water she sprayed it all over me and my son not even offering us a towel to dry off. Then she wasn’t paying attention and cut my foot with the foot scraper and started at me like I did something. On top of that when we went to do the manicure and acrylic nails she acted like I never told her what I wanted and got mad and made another nail tech do my nails. ( when we first walked in we discussed what I wanted on both my hands and toes) She then complained to the next customer that I never told her and that she didn’t want to do my nails because my son was with me. Mind you my son was sitting quietly watching his tablet minding his own business the whole time. I will never again be back here and I would never recommend this business to anyone.

This was the first time I had gotten my nails done in two years and I was really looking forward to getting pampered. I felt very rushed and the person doing my nails was very distracted with everything and everybody else. She would start something on me and then just get up and leave. Not to mention I felt the prices for what I got were a little high. I got gel on my toenails and it started to come off as soon as I got home. I don’t think I am going to be coming back here.

I absolutely love the friendly staff here. Van is awesome! I love how Jimmy does my nails! They are always perfect! Shaped perfect and color is always perfect!!! Jimmy has been doing my nails for six years. My nails always look perfect! He does a great job keeping them thin and natural with the dip powder. I drove in from out of town to support him and Van at their new salon. The salon was clean and all the chairs were separated by plexiglass. I would definitely recommend them for a relaxing experience!

I just left this nail salon and they have horrible communication. I did not ask for shellac and the lady I had did shellac anyways. I also thought that since I wasn’t doing the foot/leg message that there would be money taken off from the total but they did not inform me that it doesn’t change the price. I paid $50 !!! The lady I had was also very rude and proceeded to raise her voice at me and say “You didn’t even tip me but I didn’t say anything.” Really? I’m seventeen years old and this grown woman was being rude to a literal child. Never again.

I have been a client of Vans for over 8 years. She recently opened up her own salon, and I followed her all the way from Boerne. She is the only one I will allow to work on my eyebrows and her ability to do nails is AWESOME. I highly recommend this salon.

We had 2 pedi s booked at 2:30 we arrived at 2:15 they sat us down quicklyI understand it’s busyBut when I’m watching walk in for nails and pedi being taken care of before us is just rude and defeats the point of scheduling a appointment .When I addressed that I was here before the other woman they told me she had a appt ..but I did too and I was here 30 mins before herA whole hour to be seen with a appointment is ridiculous. I will no longer recommend or come vans nails

I’ve been using Jimmy and Van for years in Boerne and am so excited and happy for their new place! Many of us in Boerne are now traveling into San Antonio to their new salon because the service and professionalism are worth the trip!!! Excellent work! Beautiful work! I came for an appt at 2pm yesterday, I sat in the pedi chair for over 30 minutes with no one checking on me, no soak, no beverage offered. I just got up and left because to me appointments mean ON TIME. I did however return later that evening around 6:15 pm and Vanessa said that she would take care of my pedi asap. The outcome looked nice but it was super rushed, no pampering what so ever - I am not impressed with the pedicure services (which I used to always come here for pedicures and they were always great, cant say the same about this time.) I then went to get a re full and change of color on my nails and I was helped by LEE who did an amazing job. He was able to understand what shape I wanted and recommended what I need to do for a better shape next time. He was efficient and the nails are beautiful. I will be coming to him for nails frm now on and going to my normal salon closer to my home for pedicures. I only came to Vans because it was down the street frm my job. Than you LEE!

My group was not welcomed when we first walked in, but we learned quickly that you were supposed to sign in and then choose your colors and wait. After a 25ish minute wait we were seated for pedicures but the water was not on so we just sat there and got massages from the chairs. After another 20ish minutes we were finally greeted and the chairs were filled with water, then we were asked if we wanted any refreshments. The staff was extremely friendly after they started on our pedicures and it was very enjoyable. Then I got a shellac manicure and the man was so nice and did a great job. If the customer service was better in the very beginning and there wasn’t a weird wait for the water to get filled for the pedicures, I would have given a 5 star rating.

HORRIBLE attention to detail!! Left there embarrassed to show my hands out in public!! Shaped horribly, way too thick even after she spent EXTRA time in filing and shaping & cuticle area was damaged and not cleaned up!DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!Friends and I only went after ASIANA nails was too busy! Lesson learned....patience is a virtue.

Hubby and I went for pedicures. They were okay. We both needed them again a couple days later because they just didnt even get the dry skin off the heels, etc.

My nails look great and brows do too. Holly provided excellent service for both. The facility was clean and all customers were wearing their mask.

Terrible, absolutely the worst mani/pedi Ive ever gotten. Worst service, rude woman who called herself Ann, idk if thats even her name she wasnt wearing a name badge. I asked for long white coffin nails with bling. She shaped them horribly, more like a square than coffin. I even showed her multiple photos of what my ideal set would look like. She even tried telling me no when I asked for bigger jewels when Im paying per finger, then she goes off talking to her coworkers and It sounded like she was just mocking me at that point. Other customers got offered water, soda and even wine! I had to nervously ask the woman for a water. She left paint on my hands and feet, she did not push my cuticles back when I clearly asked her to. When I asked Id she had a glittery polish she said no, it wasnt until I grabbed the color swatches that i has to find my own. She told me, extra for long nails, extra for gel, extra for jewels.. I said ok. $140 later never would I recommend this place.

Absolutely loved my visit here! The ladies are very sweet and very understanding! I was indecisive about the length I wanted and Tina was patient and didnt make me feel uncomfortable or rushed even though we had gotten there 15 minutes before they were going to close. My other two friends who were with me enjoyed their visit with their ladies as well. We did have to ask about the complimentary beverages but all in all it was truly a pleasant experience and we all loved our nails... especially mine.. I loved how they turned out! I went in for a simple nail repair. Everyone had an attitude. My nail tech did speak to me. And once she was done she told me “ok get up, your done” I got up and proceeded to pay. She then got upset because I didn’t have cash on me and said “you don’t have cash and I said no, do u not accept credit cards and she said forget it and said its not that much that I’m asking. I was appalled and told her no I don’t have cash on me. I hadn’t been here in a while now I remember why! Unprofessional! She is the nail tech on the far left corner by the sinks.

Was able to walk-in and was taken care of right away. Love my nails. Will definitely be back.

Mom got her nails done by Kim (who is wonderful by the way. Highly recommend her! Sweet woman.) I didnt get a chance to see the name of the lady who did my wax, but she waxed my eyebrows and did an excellent job. Even with me being a nervous guy, she took care of me within 5 minutes. My brows look better than ever. (No joke, I had that Caterpillar going). Recommend this spot, 10/10.

Horrible service .. horrible work .. I’ve been to several places and this is by far the worst. I had an appointment and they were 30 minutes late. Then I asked for a glass of wine and the manager said they did not have any. Then I walked in and saw a customer with wine. I then asked the manager why someone had wine when he stated there was no wine. Long story short horrible experience all the way around. I will never be back.

Everyone was very nice, they helped each other and followed covid regulations.

My visit today was very ok. The wait before anyone spoke to me was about 5-7 minutes. There was no one at the front desk. But once he did come by he was very nice and got me situated quickly. I was offered a drink and was greeted by my technician. She did an amazing job and the massage she gave was amazing. I know she was feeling well but I was impressed with her work. The one thing I will be back very soon.

Vans is the nail spa where we send our out-of-town clients, when they ask us what is the best place in town to go for a pedicure? We know that Vans staff will take good care of our people, just as they take great care of our staff. Vans is a clean, professionally-run, and moderately-priced nail salon with awesome nail techs and a warm, welcoming environment.

My go-to nail salon for dip powder. Ive tried several salons closer to me but I make the drive here because Sophia is great! Removal and a new set have taken almost 2+ hours at other places, but Sophia is fast and I leave with better nails than any other salon.

I am the pickiest person, especially for pedicures. This place exceeded my expectations! I think I had Sophie or Sophia, she was amazing! She took her time and made sure I was doing good. This is the best pedicure I have had in San Antonio. The prices are great too. I am looking forward to making a trip to San Antonio just to get a pedicure here!

One of the places that I cane trust and come to have my nails done. Technicians are very skillful and they do know how to get things right. I came in to have a spa pedicure and manicure. Though I had a lot of annoying requests but the lady who did my nails was still very patient and attentive. She took her time to make sure everything is right. They have a great selection of good quality products and beautiful colors to choose from. The pedicure felt really great and my nails now look fantastic with beautiful coat and perfect shaping and the the length is just right. Just how I like it, as many other times before. Highly recommended !!!

This place is heaven. The service is excellent and more importantly, the staff is kind. During my pedi I watched as a man went up and down a ladder, taking apart the circulation fans and cleaning them! I dont know why that made such an impression but I love this place! My toes are happy too :)

This was my first time here. This little gem. Its a one stop shop. I can get my nails💅, feet, eyebrows, have a drink 🍷and get a massage💆.👌👌😀 I tried the dip method because Im allergic to the acrylics. Im not sure if its the powder or liquid. Only time will tell. The lady that helped me was very understanding and checked on me before I left. She told me if I were to have an allergic reaction to come back and they would take it off.

This place was okay. They did a good job on my nails but unfortunately, we had a sub par experience. I made a reservation for me and a friend. Before we left, another friend wanted to come and we didnt think itd be a problem for a walk in. We told them when we got there that another friend was coming. My third friend got there about five minutes after we had started our pedicures, was seated across from us instead of next to us, and they didnt speak to her again until after we were already finished. The nail tech wasnt going to start her pedicure until she was finished with ours. They didnt tell her there would be a wait. She decided to leave after waiting in a chair for 30 minutes. I would too.

When I step in the nail salon, the nail lady came and greeted me. It felt nice and welcoming. I requested a manicure and the lady massage my hands while she was at it. Also, the prices are reasonable and I would recommend this nail salon to all my friends and family.

It was my first time here, and probably my only time here! I went in and wasnt even properly greeted or so much We will be right with you. Couple came in after me and they were greeted and were about to served before me before I said Ive been here for 10 min and no one was addressed me. I got my pedicure and was sitting in the chair for an additional 10 min. Wasnt offered a drink. Then I went to get my acrylics done and the whole process was awful. The lady (Tina) kept getting up and kept getting distracting and serving others. I spent about 2 hours here and it was just an awful experience. That same couple left well before me and had both pedicures and manicures done as well. Completely ridiculous!! Worst place ever.

Im sorry to say the service has gone down hill the past year. My shellacked nails were only lasting 4 or 5 days so I got my nails dipped this time but they only lasted 3 days.Also, they push up sales and get upset if you dont agree.

Every few months for the last four years, my best friend and I have come and gotten pedicures done at Vans. While the experience does sometimes vary between the nail technicians you get, I have to say that overall the service is amazing and I ALWAYS feel welcome and accommodated here. Sophia is hands down the loveliest tech Ive had there thus far and would highly recommend this place just for her work alone!!

Im so depressed my nail color is horrible. I choose a chrome color that looked like pearl blush color. When the lady started painting my nails in baby bright pink I told her that I dont like PINK at all on my nails but she said to me oh Im adding the chrome on top. Well here we go. When she added the gold chrome on top of my baby bright pink color nails the color didnt looked like the one I choose. It looked gold totally gold. They didnt changed my baby bright pink color because they said I choose that color. Oh no I feel so confused and depressed. Now I have baby bright pink nails and I had to pay for it. I pay $93 for a color on my nails I didnt choose. I dont know what to say anymore. Service is ok my pedicure was ok too. But the color on my nails not ok at allI DO NOT RECOMMEND HERE THEY ONLY WANT THE MONEY NOT CUSTOMER SATISFACTION

Place is ok I dont think Ill go back. The lady cut up several of my cutical areas and for a basic natural nail was $36 bucks. But the place is nice. And other people were being offered drinks and my nail tech didnt offer me and my daughter one. Oh well my adventure continues to find a nail salon

I went and got a $60 shelac pedicure, only to have both my baby toes peel off later that night. I went back and they fixed it, but on a closer examination you can see polish on my nail beds and cuticles. Just looks sloppy. It was my first/second time going and definitely my last. Also, they offered the four ladies across from us beverages, yet being my first time, Im not sure if I was supposed to ask, however, shouldnt they have offered.

The manager was very rude to my daughter and myself. She was having a flower put on her nail and when I asked him if he was gonna polish her nails first? He said he needed to hurry up and get the flower put on and he knew what he was doing! Then he put it on with out polishing the nail and then took it off. I guess he didn’t know what he was doing cause the girl polished her nails and then she put the flower on! Rude rude rude

Will never go there again at the one at North Park, tall Vietnamese woman was not doing my pedicure but kept looking at my feet and telling the lady that was working on my feet something in Vietnam finally she told me I needed to come sooner in a cocky way. Because of her will never go back.

I always come here and dish out $150 every 2 weeks but after the service and quality today I am never coming here again! The wax wasnt hot and left welts on my face, my eye brows were not waxed evenly and the shellac nail job sucked this time. Dont waste your money!!!!

I have been going here for years, and lately the service has really gone downhill. But yesterday was the worst experience ever. The staff was so rude and people who came in after us we served ahead of us. When they did finally get around to doing my nails after waiting over an hour they did a VERY poor Job. I will not be back. I have several Friends that use to go and they have told me about similar experiences and why they no longer go here.

Coming back from a stressful business trip, I decided to treat myself good by making an appointment with this salon for a organic spa pedicure. It was a little bit expensive but I worth my money and time. They used everything from natural products, no chemical. I could feel different. So love their service. Thumb up.

Very disappointed with my last two visits to this establishment. My fill was lumpy, shellac started chipping in less than a week, and acrylic on my finger above my cuticle. Pedicure was brief and they charged me extra for taking off polish before the actual pedicure.

I only go here when my preferred salons are booked up but after my last visit I won’t even consider it as a last resort.The nail tech was shockingly rude and intolerant to my request of stilleto nails as she kept making them almond shape.These were also the most unnatural looking nails I’ve ever gotten.

I went in today just wanting to get my French manicure nails filed and cut and they did NOT need a fill because I had just gotten them done about 5 days ago. The man that was at the desk said you need to get a fil it is $25. Ive gotten my nails filed & cut before for $6 at another nail salon and he just wanted me to spend more money so he told me it would cost me $16 to file and cut my nails & that I might as well spend $9 more to get the fill done. Never coming back horrible service for them to try to tell you what you need to get done.

One of the best things about this salon would be the fast service they offered; i did not have to wait long at al, which was great for someone impatient as i am.
