Extremely Surprised they have the rating that they do. I will never be back to this place. I would recommend anywhere but here. Extremely rude and the lady that did my pedicure especially.

Acrylic nails were pulled off & not soaked . Male employee was rushing and continued to pull off other nails while my nail was actively bleeding. Continues to ask how I wanted my nails done. No, thank you ! No apology and/or first aid was offered. Blamed was placed on me. I’ve never experienced such terrible service, ever .

Nancy and Tracy are amazing. The new owners are friendly too. My mom, my daughters and I go there for pedicures ALWAYS. They will fit you in ANY TIME OR DAY without an appointment! My daughter and I both get our hair cut and highlight by Tracy!

Went there a week ago and tried to get tips put on but they insisted that I got a dip on my real nail and it’s literally been a week three of them have broken so badly from doing nothing it ripped almost my whole nail off. plus $50 for a dip.

My nails were crooked, the price was unclear and I was charged almost 2x what was stated on the website. When I tried to simply discuss the price, they were rude and unwilling to explain why they didn’t mention certain amenities cost more. The prices on the website are inaccurate. Additionally, they did not take their time on my nails because they were giving someone a pedicure at the same time as me. I won’t be returning.

Went as walk-in. Very courteous and friendly staff. Lee gave me manicure (powder coat) and pedicure. Excellent job. I then had my eyebrows waxed. All staff were professional and price was reasonable. I’ll definitely be back!

No not a great spot to get your nails done

I have used this nail shop for years and its been great!! It has most recently transitioned to new ownership and Lynn has made that transition seamless. Many services are offered to include hair, eyebrows and facials. Lee, former owner has always done my nails: gels, shellac, dipping... Ive had it all and he does fantastic work with attention to detail! His wife Nancy does my eyebrows and never disappoints. Im looking forward to the new details that Lynn will bring. Definitely try this shop that can accommodate a variety of budget needs!

Lee does my nails and my moms as well. He is always so professional and has so much patience. He does exactly what you ask him to do and he listens to your ideas. He is very sweet and I would come to him over and over again! Love Nancy’s! You can always trust them to do the best job. :)

I love love this place!! Lee has been doing my nails since I was 16. I am 32 now, and he is still doin my nails... I only come to him. Nancy is also amazing. She is the only one I will allow to work on my eye brows. She’s so gentle and relaxed. The atmosphere is great and your always greeted with a smile and a hello.

Visiting family from Boston and checked this place out. They took us right away with no appointment and did an incredible job. I got a dip manicure and my eyebrows waxed and they both look GREAT!!!! My mom got a pedicure and she loved it too. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great manicure or pedi!! Slightly on the pricier side but worth it. Thank you guys!!!!!! I will be returning when I’m back in Texas!!!

Tracey is absolutely fantastic and clearly takes a lot of pride in her work. I couldnt tell which one of us was more happy about how gorgeous my hair came out. She told me over and over again if my customers are happy, then Im happy and she certainly shows that. Ive been jumping from stylist to stylist all over san antonio for the past few years, and Tracey has finally broken that cycle. I wouldnt go anywhere else.

My daughter,my mom and I absolutely love this salon. They do an incredible job .They are perfectionists and have some real talent . The best part is that the staff is all so kind and friendly .The atmosphere is so welcoming .The conversation always so pleasant. The manis,pedis,gel nails and waxing are all top notch. Don’t get me wrong it’s a good place and it’s my first time going there and they got me in and out but the more i started looking at my acrylic nails they were uneven! still cute but my right ring finger was more skinner than my left nail

I have been getting my nails done and pedicure by Lee for the past 12 years. He does an awesome job.

Nancy did amazing! And the pedicure was fantastic. But the staff was lazy! I literally came in and was put into the chair with cold water in the tub. No one asked if it was hot or cold. Out of 5 employees, only three of them were working. I had to wait 30 minutes in a cold tub before Nancy came over. I asked if she was the only one doing pedicures and she said yes be uses one girl was off today. But then after I finish, the two males that were just watching movies on their phone and iPad, sat down to do two pedicures on some ladies!!! I was pissed! You dont just make a customer wait in cold water and wait for one person to do a dudes pedicure! Carry some weight!

Walked in was told to choose a color by a nice woman. Then...the woman who was going to be doing my pedicure was on her personal cell phone on a phone call and told me to go to the back where the pedicures were done. The woman seemed annoyed that she had to end her phone call to do my pedicure...This was probably the worst pedicure I’ve ever had. She did not talk. Only to complain near the end of the pedicure. She used the nail filer to go over each toe once...so you can imagine how uneven my toenails are. She then threw the steaming hot towel on my legs which was so unbelievably hot she didn’t even check to see how hot it was. It was burning my legs. She then told me to wait when she finished painting my toenails (terribly) to dry and left me there for twenty minutes while she ate and took another phone call (presumably the same person she was speaking to before I interrupted to pay good money to have my toes done). The whole process was completely rushed. Everyone around was so nice and offered drinks to their customers except for me. I honestly felt like a nuance to her. Maybe she should’ve taken the day off to collect herself because she was definitely not at her best. Don’t think I’ll come here again. Even though everyone else was nice, one bad employee ruins it for me. If you don’t want me there, that’s fine, I’ll spend my money somewhere else where they like to make money.

Never had a bad experience except for this place after explaining that the nail shape was not how I wanted I was yelled at and forced to pay. Do not go here they are unprofessional and don’t care what costumers have to say about their own nails!!!

Very rude! I had my daughter with me and they said they didn’t have time for us because she was with me. And employees were just sitting around.

My daughter and I have been going to Nancys for 5 years. They have always taken care of us from manis, pedis, waxing, and hair cuts. We have never had an issue with any of the employees, they are always friendly and do an awesome job.

Great Nail Salon, had Dip and am happy with the results

Got a bad job on the dipping powder mani yesterday. Told the guy he made my nails wide and thick. He tried to shave them down, but it still looked awful. I had to go to work so I left, but PAID despite wanting to walk out. Called the next day to speak to a manager/owner and they hung up on me TWICE (I wasnt being rude just wanted someone to hear me out). Called from another phone and was told to go back in. When I got to the salon, I told them they hung up on me 2 times and one lady said Well you didnt tell me what you needed. I told her its very rude to hang up on people and she went on to scold me saying You didnt say what you needed. In summary, I got the dipping powder removed and got shellac instead. Which was another bad idea. Got gel on the skin and squiggly lines againts the cuticle. UGH. I will never go back!!!!
