Decent prices and service. Unfortunately, there is a limited colour selection, and my polish started peeling the night I got them done. I tried to call the next day (5 July) to no answer, so I assume they are closed for the holiday. Tomorrow I will try again to get them fixed and I hope they last this time.I tried to return later that week, however no one answered the phone, and when I got over there, the place was closed. Don’t waste your time.

I love this place!! Honestly the first time I came to get a manicure, I was worried that it wouldn’t be that good since I had gotten the cheapest option- but I completely fell in love!!! At any other nail salon I’ve been to, my nails would ALWAYS start coming off after 2 or 3 weeks and I hated it. But these acrylic nails literally lasted me well over a month!!! I was so impressed that this is my go-to nail salon now. Great prices for quality services & I 10/10 recommended giving them a chance if you haven’t already

This is the best salon! David takes pride in his work and never lets me down. They do get busy, I would recommend calling for an appt because if not you may wait a while but its totally worth the wait!

I start Wednesday off by reading the reviews for nail salons in my area. The reviews were all positive and they talked about David. So i called and scheduled my appointment. I was mot sure who would help me or how busy they would be. When i arrived there was another customer getting her nails done. I was greatted and helped shortly after. David helped me and he was great. He has great personal skills and made me feel comfortable. He dis my nails amazing. I will be returning for all my nail needs going forward. I finally found my nail salon.

I saw David for an acrylic fill. My nails were a mess when I went in and he fixed them way better thsn the original full set I had gotten elsewhere. Very personable and sweet, gentle technique, precision and Beautiful Finish. I will definitely be going back. David is my go-to guy!

David and Tina are the best nail techs!!! I love the way Tina does my manicures. She always gets my hands super clean around the cuticles. My nails always look fantastic and they generally last me about a month. One time this year I injured my nail in an accident. And they were able to make it look like nothing ever happened until the nail grew out. Amazing work! Family friendly! Love this business!!! Been going here over a year!

David is amazing. This establishment is hands down one of the best. My nails last so long and they are ALWAYS beautiful. My Shellac pedicure also lasts a long time and the customer service is amazing.

I won’t return. I don’t know the owners names. The owner male is kind, gentle, talkative, and welcoming. The owner lady does beautiful, perfect nails but she is very aggressive. Every time she does my nails, she manhandles my finders even after I say “that hurts” or “ouch.” Way too much burning and extra rough filing! I always think about asking her if she’s angry because it sure seems like it. I always leave this place with beautiful nails done by her but also with cuts, bleeding, stinging, and raw fingers. Every single time... yet I still tip. It’s no longer worth it.

I have found my new nail place! Ive been loyal to another place for the past year because the owners are very nice and Ive always had good service. Its just lately that Ive noticed that when Ive asked for something specific with my nails or different colors on each nail, its met with resistance. I decided I can no longer just settle for what I get when it comes to my nails. I visited Luminous Nails in the summer and liked it so I decided to try it again. Well, I felt validated because the nail set I just had put on three weeks ago did not look very well and the nail length was off. I knew this but it was too late to do anything about it. No need to fear....David was there to rescue my nails and he did exactly what I wanted! Its like I have a whole new set of nails! He did an amazing job and I had a pedicure too with Tina. When I walked in, another customer came in and stated that she flew in all the way from Chicago just to have Tina do her nails! That definitely says a lot!

I have been to this place twice before and every time there is a lady which I think is the owners wife, she is very rudeI went back a third time walked in to make an appointment and the same lady was there doing nails and she did not acknowledge me. After standing there for a couple of minutes I walked out and will not be back. While the guy owner is nice this lady needs an attitude adjustment., there are plenty of good nail salons I can give my business. When they are talking about a customer they speak another language which is very rude.

I walked in to get a pedicure for me and my son and the man looked stunned. He refused service. My son is 6 and tried to tell me he was to small and he would play in the water.

Awful! Went in and the guy told me 30 minutes. I waited about 15 min. Then he told me to come back tomorrow and make and appointment. They say walk ins are welcome but then they did this. Only two people working there. A girl cane in for a fill and they told her to come back after 4. She walked out. Im pissed I waited 15 minutes for them to turn around and say make an appt. For tomorrow. Horrible customer service! I Will never go back.

I have been getting my nails done for over 20 years. And I can say....they are the spot to go to in NE SATX. I love my nails everytime I leave. Never any sore or tender feeling. They are always willing to take the time to shape them beautifully. If needed; I can wear my set 3 weeks and they still look AMAZING!.... After cooking and cleaning- no gloves. If you want quality... This is the place.

Horrible experience!!!! I stopped in for a full set, I sat down to look at color swatches for the nails . This place had on display. As I was looking through the swatches an Asian man said hurry you can look at colors while she puts your nails on. He said come on come go and sit. I said no thanks, Im not in a hurry Id like to select my nail shade before I sit. He said again go sit so she gets started on your nails. I was like Ill find my shade first. Right away it was weird horrible customer service and the nail salon is very ugly. But I look past both reasons to take my money and run. So after selecting my shade for my full set. I sat and right away the Asian lady said 35$ for set. I was like okay thats fine, weird because I didnt ask for a price and by the look of the salon they probably have people who dont want to pay. Then she began my nails when it came time to paint my nails, nails were very streaky and I mentioned the acrylic wasnt brought all the way down. Instead of fixing my nail so it would look like a full set and not like I needed a fill. She just brought the nail polish down. I thought it was a bit trashy of the nail tech, no pride in her job no care for quality service. But by this point I was just dying to get this over with. Not like I have to ever go backSo she showed me to the dryer for my nailsI put my hands in and sat after a few minutes. I took my hands out to look at how they were drying because the polish was streaky before I put them in the dryer. Sure enough the polish was bubbly and drying streaky. So I called her over and let her know then she told the Asian guy something in her language. The Asian guy said its drying like that because of the polish ridiculous. Bs so then I said if this is how this polish drys then maybe you want to let your customers know. I said because it didnt look like this on your display. Then shes having to remove polish and repaint my nailsShes saying something while moving her hands . Then she laughs actually grabs my hand puts it in the nail dryerSo I tell her theres a language barrier.This was awful no customer servicePlace was empty. Ugly areaI live on thousand oaksI dont recommend this salonI was only in the area because we had dinner out there. This is by far the worst experience Ive ever had in a nail salon. Didnt open until 1030. They didnt ask if i had an appointment, which i did. Lady cut my cuticle twice and tells me to relax. She didnt fully fill my nails. And didnt listen when i showed her. Then i get charged DOUBLE what I set my appomtment for! Never again!!!

This is my second attempt at coming to this salon. Both times I had a scheduled appointment, upon arriving was told it would just be a few minutes. First time I waited over an hour for service in which my pedicure was done very half ass. The second attempt I arrived on time for my appointment and was told to wait again just a few minutes. 45 minuets later I decided to leave. Wont be coming back and would not recommend them to anyone.

I wanted to try a new nail salon and based on the high reviews is why I came here. The nail tech only spoke Spanish, which is perfectly fine, however, I dont speak Spanish, so she couldnt understand me. I told her I wanted an overlay with shellac. She didnt push back my cuticles back and she didnt clean up around my nail bed. She started doing my overlay and only put acrylic on my actual nail length rather then trying to make them all one length. I had to stop her and ask, dont you extend the acrylic to make the nails one length. She looked at me confused, the other nail tech had to come and find out what I was asking. He asked if I could wait until the other nail tech was done, so she could do it. When I got to the other nail tech, I asked, dont yall push the cuticles back and clean up around the nails. She said yes, but only pushed back my cuticles. Then she started doing my overlay, which was looking ok. Then after she was done all the build up of acrylic was under my nail and I had to ask her to drill it out clean. I walked out thinking, ok, my experience wasnt great, but the nails look good. I went Saturday 7/22/17 and today is 7/25/17 and 3 of my nails have cracked and broken off. $45 down the drain. Never have I ever had my nails break like this after having an overlay. I will never go back to this nail salon. Should have stuck with my normal salon.
