These are 9 hours afterwards, lets just say I had a feeling that I shouldnt have went there and I was right. I wont even get started on my toes. Lets just say this isnt worth 70$ my nails have no shape and the Amanda lady shaped off too much of my nails on one hand (natural nails) so now one hand has longer nails than the other. And the lady had an attitude because I was directing her in how I wanted my nails done respectfully. The she started rushing and ect. She was just not it. I hate my nails and Ive never had my dip powder this hideous. DONT COME HERE YOU WILL BE DISSAPOINTED.

I called after work at 6:20 and asked if they had time for a soak off and just an overlay and they said yes. I was done quickly and loved the work.

I will never come again. I had a dip powder mani and a ? Pedicure. The gentleman that did the pedicure did a great job but never gave me options as far as services in relation to the pedi. I.e. choice of reg, deluxe, etc. My manicure, totally different story. My nail tech wasn’t very pleasant and only put two layers of dip powder on my nails which resulted in cracked nails not even 24 hrs later. (Pictures below) Needless to say after paying $90 I am not happy with the services provided to me. I was referred here, I will be going back to my awesome nail tech elsewhere.

Got my eyebrows waxed, for the first time. Didnt hurt at all, but Im good with pain. Janice was so nice! Thanks job well done.

Went in a bit early for my appointment, I was taken straight away and the lovely lady who did my nails was very very good ! And have to say it is first time I have ever seen a nail technician with beautifully done nails herself ! Very impressed with the service and I got the best set of nails I have ever had !!

Today my daughter took me to get my nails done. She had never been to this particular nail salon. It turned out to be one of the best nail salons I had ever been to. We ended up getting our nails done and got pedicures and we got our eyebrows and top lip done as well. They were very friendly, helpful, and did such a great job!!!!!!!! My nails looked so good, asked for the ombre and she did an example on a nail tip to make sure thats what I was requested. It was!!!! She is quick and gentle and it was the best set of nails I ever had done. I learned her name was Nancy from reading the reviews, wish I had known. I would have shared that my name is Nancy also. She also did a great job on our eyebrows and top lip. 1st time for me and was surprised that it wasnt painful. The best pedicure ever. David did thorough job. The salt scrub was fantastic, he didnt rush and was so careful and neat. They take great pride in their work. Oh, and the prices are really reasonable.

This was my first time here, I had just walked in for a removal and a new set. I have always wanted ombré and I have been to 4 salons in the past 6 weeks, only to leave without what I wanted and with no paint at all. So I was thrilled when Nancy was able to do my nails and let me pick my own color combination for the ombré. They turned out so pretty. I haven’t gone back for fills yet. I’ll be going this weekend. So again I want to thank Nancy for the awesome job at such a great price. I have paid a whole lot more for a lot less. I highly recommend Amanda’s nails to anyone.

I enjoy going to this Salon. Ive paid alot of money for a bad service at other places. Here the prices are reasonable and they make sure their work looks good. Just make sure they are sanitizing properly.

Nancy is really good with nails and quick. Was worried about my eyebrows but she did them perfect. My feet were done by someone else but they also came out good. Definitely recommend.

I went here for 3 years the owner Nancy / Amanda was friendly until you express to her whats wrong with what you paid a lot of money for . One day I paid for nails & toes & 4 days later both were falling apart this wasnt the first time this happened but she does nails so beautifully I was passive about it . She yelled at me, banned me from the salon because I complain about paying. I just want my moneys worth because I dont have money to just give out I work hard to enjoy my pampering and she needs to understand that when receiving money the mother does great toes but uses the same supplies for months at a time on all clients which is unsanitary & the man is still learning how to do nails . Your choice if its worth it after 3 years Im glad to be pampered accordingly

I went to Amandas nails on the suggestion of my Uber driver today. She was taking me to another Nail Salon and it wasnt open yet. I was just going to try this particular salon just because it was close to my house. I had a very bad experience at another establishment a week ago when I had a back fill on my nails and the guy screwed up the shape of my nails and the shellac polish started peeling only after 5 days. I wanted to get my nail polish fixed and re-shaped as best as possible. So the Uber driver sells me on this place and she ended up taking me to Amandas and Im so glad she did! I had a pleasant pedicure from Mrs. Kim that was very relaxing to the point I couldve fallen asleep! Nancy the manager did my nails and she went out of the way to find the exact color scheme I was wanting to get. I walked away so happy and pleased with their customer service and I will definitely be returning.

Have been going here for almost 2 years now! I wont trust anyone else with my nails. She is absolutely amazing, and will do exactly what is asked. I suggest everyone to go to her when they ask about my nails.

Recently under new management. Amanda does my nails. I am VERY picky on how my nails look. Being a new resident to San Anontio I had to find a new nail tech after having the same one back home for 6 years. After moving here it took me 5 different places before I found Amandas nails. Its an older shop and doesnt have the new things, but they do a great job. I tell Amanda exactly what I want and how I want my nails and she does it. I only have to tell her once. I would recommend this nail salon!

So I came in for a mani-pedi. I got this older lady, Mrs.Kim I think her tag said, and not that I’m looking for a conversationalist, but at least a hello and a smile. She was moving my legs and signing to me what do with her hands and a curt word, I understand that her English may be lacking, but at least look at me and don’t just move my legs around. She was super rough with the cuticle cutter, and the leg ‘massage’ was anything but. I got French tip on my toes and they look like a kid did it, not only that, but she used this pink color instead of clear so they look pretty awful, and that’s just the pedi. It’s not even worth mentioning the manicure. Needless to say it’s the last time I go there, I rather pay $10 more and get a good service.

I made an 11am appointment and when I arrived I they didn’t acknowledge me, there was no sign in so I sat down. I waited till someone was available and said hi and they just waived and sat down. After 35 minutes I just left. Place sucks

Nice tech. 20.00 for nail polish ... little pricey

Not that the people seemed bad but the service was just a tad bit crappy. Now when I mean by that is that the person who did my nails was some old guy who seem like he had Im guessing its called Parkinsons where the hand shakes a lot or parts of the body, and while he was doing my nails his hands were shaking a little bit so of course the application wasnt completely even. Now when it comes to how he placed the nails he sized the fingers as he went but he made a mistake and didnt size my middle finger and just glued a random nail on. I didnt fuss only because the nail was already glued and it want much of a size difference however I still didnt appreciate that. Now I chose to do acrilic nails with nail polish but I wanted my ring fingers to be a different nail tip and with art on it. They couldnt do the art I wanted and when I showed them a picture they told me that the person who did this used 3d nail art. Now there is this place in Houston called vhnailspa. That is there Instagram name as well. They do all of their nail art by hand and never use stickers unless the customer asks for it and usually they dont because they do such a GREAT job. That comment kinda pissed me off but if they couldnt do it then I had no reason to complain. So I got a bow on my ring fingers and one of them came off the next day! Didnt want to go back to get it fixed so I decided to not go back there. And actually when I was getting my nails dried a girl came in with her boyfriend and wanted to get her nails done as well. So she sat with the old man and while he was cutting the tips off she wasnt sure how long she wanted her nails and he got upset because she changed her mind. Now overhearing this I said man what a horrible service since this place is so dead. He has no reason to get upset at her. Its her choice and if she wants to change her mind then he needs to accommodate to what she wants. So needless to say I personally wont be going back. And as far as cleanliness went I give that a 2 out of 5

Woman did a horrible, rushed job ...twice! Wouldnt fix it after. Found a better place down the road. Would not recommend this place to anyone.

Went in on 3/11/2018 got shellac on my nails which came off on Tuesday I called and they repaired it on Friday and mind you Ive been getting shellac for 2 yrs and the lady said well it doesnt last long and I know it last me for 2-3 wks and now another came off I will not be going back not happy at all!!!
