Sturdy, aesthetically pleasing tents. Staff is quick to respond, polite and experienced. We rented some outdoor tents for our church for Easter for overflow space and these tents created a welcoming space for people to worship. The tents were set up well in advance and taken down on time. We experienced 40 mph wind gusts the day they were set up and everything stayed put just fine. 5/5 would recommend!

They were super kind and helpful. I had made arrangements for my daughters father to pick up the chairs and tables for her birthday party early Saturday morning. He thought they closed at 2pm instead of 12pm. At 12:30 he texted me asking for the address and I told him it was too late because they closed at 12. He called great event rentals and they told him they were willing to wait for him to pick up the tables and chairs. They waited about an hour and a half after closing and made sure my daughters birthday happened the next day. I loved their service and will definitely be renting from them again.

Working with Great Events was a pleasure up until the day of my event. The staff was courteous, accommodating and professional. Unfortunately, none of this actually matters if you do not receive the service you request during an important event.I chose Great Events specifically because they offered set up and tear down at a reasonable cost. My venue had tables and chairs we could rent cheaper and without a delivery fee, however since no one would set them up, I elected to pay more to utilize Great Events. My wedding day came and the set up and tear down crew had 0 knowledge they were setting up. This wouldnt be that big of a deal EXCEPT we showed them a copy of our invoice showing payment for set up. They pretended they would do it and when my father, who was supervising the setup, went to his hotel to shower, left.Repeating, on my wedding day, the setup crew, after seeing an invoice including payment for setup, pretended they would do it and then left without completing the task. The bridal party and my father, fully dressed in wedding attire ended up setting up for the event, which made everyone sweaty and put us behind schedule since we did not find out until after my father returned that they abandoned the job. The main office, always respectful, offered a refund on set up and tear down, which I accepted and they processed promptly, however this is not enough. My father looks like a sweaty tomato in the wedding photos, I spent more using this service even with the refund than I would have without setup and they essentially made it so my bridal party and my father had to work on my wedding day. I paid so everyone could relax on the wedding day and Great Events added 100x to everyones stress. Will never utilize this service again and implore every one of you to use any of the other amazing rental companies in the area.

I hired Great Events & Rentals to design a private reception hosting clients during the sales conference. Christina came up with the right design for tenting, reception and staging layout : and the flow work great. The rentals for the event were clean and in great condition. Our clients were very happy. I would give 10 stars if I could. I totally recommend. Fanatastic team. :)

If I could give -stars I would! This is the most unprofessional event rentals place I’ve ever came across. The people who work here were so rude and not helpful what so ever. I would not recommend this place to anyone, there’s countless of other full service event rentals in San Antonio, don’t go to this one. Think twice before renting with GREAT EVENTS!

We used Great Events for our wedding in April. They were on time for dropping off and picking up the tables and chairs without any issues. We have no complaints at all from them! Not to mention, they have a wide selection of rentals on their website to choose from. You won’t go wrong for choosing Great Events.

Great Events and Rentals was an easy to use rental company. Rented a small evaporative cooler fan for an outside event. Easy parking and access. The folks there loaded and unloaded the fan and were friendly throughout.

We just used Great Events Rentals for our annual fundraising banquet and I was very pleased with their service. We werent a large customer, however I feel they provided excellent customer service because we ordered 40 chairs and needed 10 more the day of the event, the delivery person went back to pick up the extra chairs and made it back before our event started. Furthermore, they didnt charge us for the extra delivery and simply charged us for the chairs. The manager is very personable and I would definitely recommend this company to anyone.

Tina is my girl!!! Was in the event industry for many years and have utilized this rental company for nearly all my past events. Used them for my personal wedding and a few other personal parties. An amazing selection of linens, lighting, super fun chairs and her staff is always on time and I Sandy helpful! Highly, highly recommend!

I went the Great Events Rentals to reserve tables, chairs, and flatware for a surprise birthday party I was having for someone a month in advance. Jenny went over the options on what they had available for rent and I signed the contract. Once I left I sent an email letting her know that the delivery had to be at 4pm so the guest of honor would not be at the house during delivery. A week before the event I call to confirm everything is good to go. Thats when she tells me that theres an extra charge on top of the delivery charge to lock in a particular time. I asked her if she received the email I sent her and why she didnt mention that when I paid for the rentals initially? She then proceeds to tell me she never received the email despite me showing it to her. I ended up paying the additional $100 because I didnt have a choice since the event was a few days away. The chairs and tables looked great but the customer service is highly lacking at Great Events Rentals.

Came in on a Thursday around 1 pm. The woman who helped us was extremely rude and made us feel like it was a bother that we were trying to give them our business. Besides being disrespectful to my mother she told us we should have called before showing up even though we were told we only needed an appointment for saturdays. I decided that they were obviously doing great and didnt need our business because why else would they be so rude as if theyre doing us a favor. I recommend going to Marquees which is only about 5 minutes away. The staff their is extremely courteous and patient, the complete opposite of great events.

Excellent Customer Service!!! I rented portable coolers, chairs and tables. My event was larger than I anticipated and they were able to respond to the increased need within 45 minutes - Saved my party.

I have been using Great Events and Rentals since 2012. They handle all of my corporate event rental needs as well as a few personal jobs as well. The staff is extremly knowledgeable, easy to work with and make the client feel appreciated. I can rely on Great Events to get the job done right and that the team will communicate wtih me if needed. Overall, Great Events is consistent, professional and extremely fast. They make my job easier and can help you as well. If you are looking for the best rental shop in town, look no further. Great Events is the rental copany for you!
