I just want to thank this towing company for going above and beyond when they helped my son during this terrible weather in texas recently. The gentleman helped my son and went out of his way and drove around to help my son find a tire place that was open since a lot of business were closed due to the weather. We called so many towing companies that were jacking up the prices to $500 to $600 for a less than 10 mile tow and this company didnt and that shows they are honest and good people. The only thing I have to say is that they tell u certain time .and they dont even call u back to tell u they will b running late .need to communicate with customer. So I canceled and called another tow truck.

Let me start off by saying how incredibly great this towing company is! We’re not from San Antonio so to find a place to help us was stressful! We called them, they answered us right away and told us they would be with us in about ten minutes and let me tell you they were! We just needed help fixing my dads truck on our tow trailer as we put it on crooked and they came out and fixed our problem quick plus the owner himself went out of his way and helped strap my dads truck up for us when he didn’t have too!!! Excellent service, professional and quick service! Would definitely use them again! Support mom and pops stores! Thanks again Richard! Excellence service!!!

They came ahead of the expected time, great service

Used their service to tow a semi truck into Rush truck center of Converse, TX. The customer service and quality of the job was good. Like the driver said I got your truck and driver here safely. Not that I would be expecting anything different from any tow company. However when it came to pricing it sounded to be fair, I was quoted $ 165 per hour it was a 200 mile round trip for them bay to bay. I was charged for a total of 7 hours, + 15% fuel surcharge which was not disclosed at the time pricing was given. The driver stated due to construction and traffic they were rolling between 35-50 mph all the way down. My driver stated differently, he said the tow driver chose not to drive over 50 MPH. And since his arrival he could tell he was just trying to stretch out his time. That being said be cautious and I would have them commit to a quote based on the job and not let them base it according to time. I would be seeking to use them again, specially since there are many more options in that area.

Very honest and reliable. I called around and other places quoted me $95- $140.(According to the other towing company, the cost would depend on what they saw when they got to the scene. Although i gave them a very clear picture of what to expect.) Richard’s towing gave me a great quote and it actually ended up being a bit cheaper than they originally told me. I was able to get my car towed when I needed it and they were very fast. Highly recommended .

Drives extremely crazy. Almost caused 3 accidents in 5 minutes I was driving by the tow truck and I would definitely not trust this company towing my vehicle.

This towing company messed up our car. Wasn’t carried on a flatbed tow truck so the front of the car experienced some damage, there were two flats on the passenger side of vehicle and that’s why it had to be towed away. Called twice and I’m still waiting for the supervisor to get in contact with me. It’s been 2 days. Do not recommend this towing company because obviously they don’t know what they’re doing.

My battery died at a rather difficult location and they came and endured all the pomp and circumstance to get the car. Incredible nice and professional and very military friendly. 100% would get a tow from them again if I needed one! Thanks 🙏

I have never reviewed a tow company before but this place deserves all the praise it gets, not just the company but the driver too. Superb service, courteous and conscientious driver, I think his name is Will.

Was driving on I-35 going slightly faster than the speed limit and the driver of one of there vehicles was tailgating less than 1ft away from my bumper. If I had to press my brakes he would of hit me. Drivers should be driving safely especially in a big vehicle like that before they cause an accident or kill someone. Called the office and was told it was one of their best drivers and they would talk to them but didn’t take my report seriously

So i was driving down Huebner rd @ 4:10pm on Monday Nov 9th and witnessed truck with plates T22 68K swerving in and out of left hand lane into the right. So i wanted to get around it and the driver increased speed to prevent me from doing so. This is in a 35 mph zone so when i realized im going 45 i slowed down and got back behind the truck. Then the driver repeatedly hit the brakes while in front of me and i had enough and went around. This is unsafe and highly dangerous. I hope someone will start to put a chaperone with this driver to prevent issues.

I’ve used Richards Towing for years anytime I’ve needed a tow, these guys are very responsive and tow your vehicle without damaging it. I’ve used them 8-10 times for personal tows over the year’s.

I had my vehicle towed down the road from where I was stranded and the driver was professional and careful. Unfortunately it wasnt enough to avoid tearing up my front bumper (unintentionally) while being lifted to the bed of the truck.I was worried I would get the run around but the manager after doing her own investigation got back with me and they agreed to repair my bumper. I totally understand accidents happen,Just grateful they made things right.Will use them again if necessary.

A driver for this company hit my car on May 7, 2020. After speaking with Vanessa multiple times, I was told my insurance company would be reimbursed by the end of June. Here we are at the end of September and Vanessa will no longer return my calls or emails. I sent an email on July 29th which she did not respond to and I left a message on September 23rd to receive a call back and that call hasnt been returned either. Im in disbelief that this company is not willing to make this right.

My brother whom is deaf and mute was driving his Winnebago/RV and he got stranded on the highway.. Another towing service I had called didnt have a tow truck that fit our needs recommended Richards Towing... Boy was I glad... They were courteous, efficient and fast. The young man we got was excellent! I highly recommend Richards Towing .

Called for a truck today and they said it would be @ my location in an hour 15. Two hours later no truck. I call back they say 24 minutes I say I hope so. An hour later nothing I call back and they say oh well he’s off doing something else. What I don’t understand is why couldn’t the at least call me to notify me of any delays. Called for a tow and the customer representative was polite and informed me there would be a several hour delay, which was no issue. After a few hours, I called and asked for an update and was told a driver was dropping off another tow and would be at my location within an hour. Great. After another hour, I called wondering where the tow truck was and was told I was next again and that they were half an hour away. After another hour of waiting I gave up and cancelled the tow. The customer representative was very passive aggressive about it, complaining that the driver was “almost there.” Look, bottom line is if you give me an ETA and don’t follow through 3 separate times, don’t complain to me when I cancel for you wasting my time. Delays happen but don’t lie to me to try to save face, that’s the one thing I won’t tolerate and neither should any other customer. Five hours of waiting wasted.

Said they would pickup car by 10:30 am... did not pick up until after 1:30 pm.

Needed an ASAP tow due to breaking down in a parking lot. Called via referral of Red McCombs Toyota. Initially asked for an ETA which the dispatcher could not provided, said driver would call on his way. Called after 1 hour with no word, dispatcher was sure he was on his way despite no call. 30 minutes after that, called and was told they were 15-20mins away. Finally showed up 2 hours after my initial call, at no point did they inform me that they were backed up or delayed. Tow price was $80 for less than 3 miles.
