It’s hard to find a nail salon that not only provides a good service but makes you feel at home, and that’s exactly what Prose is for me. I started out with the starter membership and when covid hit, I had to cut out this membership from my budget, Clare made that process smooth and was understanding of my situation. Once life started getting back to normal, I was happy to finally come back! I will admit that the services are a bit pricey in comparison to other salons I’ve tried in the area. But I always found my way back to Prose. The cleanliness, ambiance, relaxation and overall amazing mani/pedis every time I leave Prose led to me see the value in having the unlimited membership. Pampering myself has become part of my weekend routine and I’m so glad I found my home at Prose Florham Park.

Prose nails were great- the salon was beautiful and spotless. I saw nail techs clean and disinfect regularly. In addition to that, the nail technician that I had for a dip manicure and tips was lovely and knowledgeable. She took her time and focused on the nails as well as talking to me and answering any questions I had. She checked multiple times if anything hurt or if anything needed to be changed or adjusted. The manager was also extremely attentive and professional. And of course the most important part, my nails look great!

Honestly so overpriced. I have a membership but I’m closing it because it’s honestly a little weird that I changed my debit card that I was using for the membership, and I didn’t have to call to update my new card because the payments keep going through. Which is so weird I never gave my routing or account number, so I can only guess that they use your social security because there’s no way the payments can still go through if I haven’t updated my card. I called for a refund since I’m not going to be able to use the credit because I’ll be out of state and they told me they can’t do refunds. It’s just very disappointing. They also claim to have the best quality and they really don’t. The nails barely last. I really don’t recommend it.

I went once a couple months ago and I got dip powder and it came out okay. It seemed friendly and clean but the manager there did not look very friendly. I was told about the membership and they signed me up for the starter. They started charging my card monthly and when I realized that it was almost impossible to get there (it’s far for me and I have a baby) I decided I wanted to cancel. I was sent the form via email which I filled out and sent before the next months billing cycle. I was STILL charged and was told that I did not send it on time. Yes I did send it on time, it’s their problem that they don’t check the emails frequently. Claire was not nice over the phone and would not refund me my money back. Any way; I made an appt for this week and unfortunately and honestly I forgot about it until I got a call asking if I was coming in. I said that I’m sorry I had forgotten but I can reschedule. They said that would need to charge me a cancellation fee of $50. WHAT? not even my doctors office does this. I decided to just lose the money and not ever go back. A complete rip off. Over expensive and not worth it honestly.

I had a wonderful experience here, all of the staff was extremely friendly and I feel great after my pedicure. Very nicely decorated place, everything clean and hygienic. I strongly recommend this place and plan to check out the branch of Prose in my hometown.

My first thought was, spacious, clean and comfortable surroundings. Owner very knowledgeable and answered all my questions asked. I will have to make this my go to place for my hands and feet pampering.

I went to PROSE Nails today for the first time to get a manicure and pedicure. I was so pleased with my visit from beginning to end. The cleanliness of the salon and the impeccable care they took to follow all of the CDC guidelines in the era of COVID was top notch. Both services were meticulously performed and I love the way both my fingers and toes look! The staff also helped me to pick great colors.I was thrilled to buy a membership that will help me earn money towards all of my future services!!

Visited for the first time with my husband for mani and pedi. The place is very clean and nice. The experience was really nice we also tried cbd eye mask and leg massage. Loved the experience!!

Very nice staff and they keep it very clean/sterile, however I’ve given it three gel manicures and sadly the gel polish they use does not last and it’s the only brand they carry I’ll have to start going elsewhere.

I did my pedicure with Jennifer she was really good and friendly . Place is extremely clean they used all disposable . I really liked that . $ 30 pedicure with disposable tools and extremely hygienic . The manager Clare was really good too she served me hot tea and cleaned my rings too . Very nice people I HIGHLY RECOMMENDED this place to everyone . They used really QUALITY PRODUCTS. Go for quality and clean place . Thanks JENNIFER & Clare . Definitely will come back .Plus every Monday & Tuesday they have special express manicure just for $15 only .

Ive been coming to this salon since October. I have tried a lot of salons in the area. This place is such a different experience! If youre looking for a quick, rushed service this is not the place. If youre looking for a salon that takes pride in each service and detail to each nail, this is the place for you! The inside is gorgeous, the customer service is phenomenal. They use products that are healthy for your nails and skin and everything smells amazing. I come here for self care and its such a luxurious relaxing atmosphere! Highly recommend.

I was spoiled from the moment i walked in. Warm wrap for my shoulders, hot peppermint tea, your own tools that are two times sterilized, and they even cleaned my engagement ring in a professional jewelry cleaner. The vibe was relaxing and not over stimulating like most nail salons. It was modern and up to date and you can even tip without cash! Makes it super easy and convenient when trying to get a quick Mani at lunch time. Would definitely recommend to anyone - my manicure came out beautiful.

Thrilled with my pedicure and gel manicure from Wendy. My nails look great and I left feeling very relaxed. I liked the added touches of a warm neck wrap, blanket and phone charger that they provided.

I am a member and love going to my appointments at Prose. I have had at least three different nail artists and they are all excellent. Wendy is a lot of fun to speak with. The membership means I make appointments to do self care regularly (you don’t have to be a member to have services done there) so it was a good choice for me. Cleanliness is excellent and the environment very streamlined and attractive. I value the use of the non-toxic polish products and love the other products they use as well. The little extras are very nice like the warm neck wrap, having your rings cleaned while your manicure occurs, phone charger available, etc. They also have two bathrooms available and they have always been very clean and tidy. Bonus: They are next to a Starbucks and a King’s grocery store so you don’t need to move your car to grab a coffee and pick up some groceries. Stop reading this and good book your appointment!

I love it here, feels like a mini vacation. So different than other nail salons..a totally different ezperience! Try it for yourself.

Honestly I join their membership because the staff are nice people. However the level and quality of service is very poor. The next tech Lisa seem like she never done nail before In her life she does not even polish nail correctly and every time I go to show off my manicure & pedicure the feedback I received is that I’m wasting my money. Please save your time and money and go to more experience nail salons the others in the area are very good just always crowed.

Do not go here all the owner cares about is money I had an emergency and she was so snotty worried about the money When she takes your credit card it goes through your bank that is against the law to not go here she is a horrible person and my nails chipped after one week

Love this place!! I’ve been coming since they opened and have no regrets. I was wary initially because of the membership but when I priced it out and chose the right plan for me, i actually wound up saving money! I have worked with a few nail technicians and they are all amazing! My nails look like models and they all treat me like friends. It’s really what makes this place so special. Clare and lauren really do everything to accommodate your schedule and they along with the nail technicians really work towards making it an experience. I have a stressful job as everyone does and coming here always gives me the best perspective. I just feel so good when I leave here. I also have to credit that not just to the people but the products they use are actually GOOD for you. My whole life I’ve struggled with dry skin to the point where Vaseline is my only friend. Using the stuff they use and I use their recommended products my hands dont bleed and look beautiful again. Also this place is CLEANNN!!! arguably my favorite thing. Their products are new for every client and disposable—this is really big. No more cross contamination! Try this place out you won’t regret it!

Yes, this place is more expensive than other places. Youre paying for the service and everything else that goes with it, most importantly the sanitation and ventilation system. This doesnt feel or smell like the other nail salons around and I love that. They clean my rings (thank you Marisa!), they give me a warm neck wrap and a blanket, they have a charger for my phone. They color choices are fantastic. I get my services from Lorenny who is amazing. The manager, Clare, is super helpful and knowledgeable. The membership makes it more affordable and I love knowing I am getting my mani and pedi from a super clean place.

Worst overpriced gel manicure ever. Didn’t last a week. I called to ask for an appointment to redo it and I was told there was no availability. I explained my son’s baptism was the following day, and they didn’t care. Save your money and go else where, this over priced salon is not worth it.

The overall ambiance is mixed. While the salon itself is nice, the people there are terrible and bring down the experience. The concept of the salon tries to bring in loyal customers by forcing them to a monthly fee so they can avoid paying ridiculous prices for a basic mani/pedi. It would be acceptable if they had experienced techs and better quality. Unfortunately, they are just not there yet.PRO:- salon is very clean and new tools are always used- It has an appealing modern aesthetic-only caters to natural nail care-not too busy or crowdedCON:-The owner/manager follows you around and makes the experience very awkward.-Ive tried 3 different nail techs and all of them appear to be very new to the industry or have little understanding on natural nail care.-salon is extremely overpriced considering the quality and service are below average. (Im comparing to NYC salons with similar prices)-The quality of my regular polish mani and pedi was not great. It chipped within a few days
