Has to be the worst senior living I know .My mother lived here over 5yrs. The management was good at the beginning until the last 3 yrs. The Elevators were broken for over 1 month, My mom wasnt able to go go down the stairs due to her knees so she was stuck in her apt. So many other complaints were made, leaking faucets, drawers falling off, carpet etc. Nothing was done ever until she moved ..

My elderly mother lives there. They do not handle maintenance requests in a timely manner. Texas is hot and about to get hotter and she has no AC.Its hard for the elderly to walk. So, when she goes to the office and be told come back later, I am going to lunch.. Is wrong. Or they change how they take maintenance requests is not consistent. My mother is blind, you seriously cant help her out?

It has ALL the modern conveniences in appliances including washer/dryer connections and MOST importantly it has central air and heat. Each building has an elevator AND each apartment has an entrance off of an open-air corridor so you dont have to walk through a closed in lobby area to gain entry to your apartment. Also no windows on entry side of the apartment so more secure on 2nd and 3rd floors. For the price you cant beat these amenities in senior community living anywhere AND grocery store, pharmacy, Starbucks as well as restaurants are in walking distance. Only negative is the van to transport residents has been retired as it was 17 years old and no longer dependable. The community has recently added a masseuse service along with a hair salon in the clubhouse area by appointment.

Dont want to jump the gun, barely moved my elderly Mom and I today. So far, so good. Staff has been great. Reading reviews, all bad BUT from years ago. Im sure things have changed. You get that gut feeling and im feeling good about this move. Angels always protect us and my property including vehicle. Not used to not being able to see my vehicle.

This is the place wed been wanting to move into for a long time. The Apartments are very nice and come with a dishwasher and a Washer and Dryer hookup.Parking is great and Pets are accepted.Sorento is a Wonderful place to live.

My review is for the staff, not the apartments. We are relocating my mom into a 55+ apartment and we narrowed it down to the two Primrose properties. Monticello had an immediate opening so Mom decided to apply, even though Mission was her first choice. She needed to get out of here current situation and she didnt want to go on a waiting list. Joann and Allison were very kind, helpful and patient with her. Fast forward a week and a unit has opened at Mission. Joann was kind enough to give Mom her deposit back and was disappointed she was not coming to live there. The staff here seems to really care about people.The apartment we saw was clean, well appointed and maintained, the grounds were as well. We talked to several random residents who expressed they enjoyed living there and felt very safe.

Ever since the new staff has gotten here, things are getting done. I told Ivan about the stairs and buildings being filthy, he started to get someone to clean them. Melissa is also helpful, as she got me in here.He has a lot of work to do since this property has not been cleaned in a long time. When something breaks in my apartment maintenance answers. LeLisa is also a godsend being here to help us. If it wasn’t for the senior lunch I wouldn’t eat.

These people are NEVER there. Residents have complained, USPS has complained, the general public has complained. I guess they get paid for not being there. I JUST went there in hopes to get an application or information on leasing for my aunt. No response for 2 days! (and still no response) Someone is getting ripped off...not only the tenants. Its a pass the buck company. Dont let your loved ones be trusted here....they are literally on their own.

This is a senior facility. The front office staff is insensitive & lazy. They ignore the senior tenants concerns, the office does not have regular hours. They fail to process clerical and repair requests in a timely manner. They have started a new rental payment system that costs seniors an additional $15 dollar fee per hundred to process rental payments using a third party system. An online system is set up to process payments directly from bank accounts, however its been 3 weeks and the front office staff Jackie & Sylvia do not know how to set up the online drafts ? I take care of several tenants at various senior apartment homes, Primrose at Monticello in San Antonio, Texas is the poorest run facility I have ever dealt with. I have requested information on the home office in order to file complaints. Jackie & Sylvia refuse to provide information, stating that information is confidential. The front office staff is a total failure. This facility needs to clean up their operation or stop taking government subsidies to run the complex

Living here, great place, it goes by your income

My Mother lives at these apartments.She has lives there for about 9+years.When somethings breakdown, it takes a long time before they come to fix it. They keep giving you the run-a-round.The Rent goes up every time you renew your lease (that would be every year).Some of the buildings are coming apart.Security is very poor. Things are always getting stolen and they dont do anything about it. No walking security on the property. Building numbers are not visible by drivers. No cameras. The Entry Gates are always breaking down. My Mother is to old to be moving somewhere else, thats why she stays there.

I lived there and would move back in a flash if they get a one bedroom open. I dealt with Jackie alot and always found her very professional and kind.

I love these apartments everybody is friendly and very helpful

Going on 6 days with no elevator in one of the buildings. 2nd and 3rd floor residents cannot get to street level if they cannot use stairs.
