Ive moved quite a bit in my life, and Apartments Now makes the process about as stress free as you can imagine. Im writing this review after working with Apartments Now for my second time.Mary C worked with my partner and I this time. We started looking at a time when apartments were at about full capacity, and we know this is true because we had look online and visited complexes ourselves to see what was available. Mary did everything she could to only consider apartments within our admittedly pretty strict wants list. She asked if wed be interested in looking just a little bit outside of our desired area and found the perfect place for us. It was the first location we visited and we fell in love. We didnt even pay attention to the second complex we were still thinking about the first one she took us to. Honestly, Im struggling to think of ANY compromises we had to make with this location.After we visited the complexes with Mary (only two because we loved the first one so much) we went out to lunch and then went back to the complex we loved to apply. We were approved within a few hours. Mary followed up with us multiple times to make sure we had everything in order and even contacted the complex us for us to make sure our application, move in date, and lease were all being processed. At no point did I ever feel like Mary was doing anything but to make us happy and look out for our best interests. The process was fun, light hearted, and easy and she found us a place that wasnt even on our radar.I will continue to use Apartments Now for as long as I live in San Antonio and Ill make sure to request Mary the next time I go.

After reading the glowing reviews, I contacted Apartments Now! to get help in my search for an apartment in San Antonio. I am not a person who does things last minute, so wanted to get an idea of options, price range and possible availability coming up over the next couple of months. Rachel F. reached out to me right away and when she heard my move in date (between one month from now and 2 months from now) and the fact that I wasn’t currently in SA, she told me that she couldn’t give me any options because “they might not be available by the time you get here” and insisted that I wait until I am ready to move in “the next day” and come into the office and they’d “print up the available apartments.” She also went out of her way to talk about the shortage of apartments and how there’s a “bidding war” happening, creating a sense of urgency and scarcity like a predatory car dealership might. I thought this was strange as I had been doing my own search already and there seemed to be plenty of options available. I explained to her that I was mainly interested in finding out an overview of my options in the neighborhoods I was looking in with the amenities I desired to capture any buildings that my own search may have missed. She again repeated that she could show me that, but they might not be available when I arrive. (And at no point did she ask me what I was looking for and start the process of getting me this elusive list). I told her I understood the units may not be available by the time I arrive, but just wanted to get an idea. At this point I was very frustrated with her and the alleged “service” they offer — it seemed to me (and I expressed to her) that she was being secretive and didn’t want to show me their buildings until I arrive in SA and came into their office. She responded that if I was willing to rent an apartment “sight unseen” they could get me a list of available units.Needless to say, I didn’t find this service to be helpful at all. I wanted to find a service that could assist me in my search to relieve me of having to spend so much time on that task in a city I’m not very familiar with, but I got the feeling that Apartments Now! only wants to work with desperate, last minute situations, possibly so they can get you into a unit at a higher rate than necessary.To be fair, if you are in a situation where you need to find something fast and immediate, they’re may very well be great, but I’d beware of paying a higher rate than necessary because of a phantom shortage of apartments. Make sure you get the facts.

A horrible place to live. Constantly having maintenance issues from not having water almost on an every other day basis to not having power fro about 2 weeks to which they insisted that their was nothing they could do about it. All my food went bad in my fridge and when I had someone try to come and speak on my behalf because Im disabled they were not helpful at all to the party speaking on my behalf and then gave me a lease violation saying that the party speaking on behalf of me was being rude. I wouldnt recommended living here to anyone. Not only that but they have a lot of lowlifes around this area and my apartment was broken into and stolen from. 0/5 if I could rate it that low I would

Just completed the paperwork for an apartment and it was all thanks to this service. I got to work with Lieghlony and my first time speaking with her was on a Sunday. Yes, you read that right. I had no idea someone would reach out on a weekend, but she got back me fairly quickly after I filled out the request. Peter Acosta helped me find an apartment!!! He was very friendly, helped me get the best deal, and provided great service. I had looked through 13 apartments and right off the bat he found me one within my price range and that I could call home.

Don’t use this service unless your ready to move in that day or shortly after! I wanted to see my options and was about 2 weeks to a month out till I was ready to move. I worked with Justin V. Who was professional and nice initially. He complied a list of 3 apartments based on my needs and credit situation. He made it seem like these were the only 3 that would work with me. Also. There was a mistake on the avail dates on some of them. After we spoke that 1st meeting he told me to contact them or try to visit the apartments. He really doesn’t go the extra mile with customer service. Since I didn’t settle on one within the next few days he just stopped messaged me and ghosted me. My issues and reason for low rating : 1. car salesman approach 2. Lack of effort with more options. 3. Mistakes on apartment info. 4. Only contact from him in 2 weeks was 1 time. 5. This Free service unfortunately sacrifices quality service. My advice is do your own research. In the end Ull be better off

But then I told him I have a housing voucher and he was no help. Just wished me luck and that was it. Im guessing if you have vouchers they dont help you out.

We met in the morning to discuss options she had found, then went on a tour, and afterwards I submitted an application to the complex for approval.
