I have been here 6 weeks & so far Im VERY pleased with Las Brisas! My apartment is exactly what I expected moving in. No surprises. A few minor maintenance things were addressed right away. The community wifi and cable is high quality/fast. Ive enjoyed the pool! Grace in the office is extremely helpful and very good with follow up!

I actually wish these were condos so I could buy my unit. Great location with access to everything that matters within 20 minutes in any direction. Maintenance is quick, management is easy to communicate with, the property is well cared for. I love living here.

My girlfriend and I moved into Las Brisas after a terrible experience with our last apartment back in November 2020. Even within a pandemic, Grace and Yvette were amazing! We loved everything about this place. The apartment was incredible. Maintenance was prompt and completed everything with a high quality. The grounds were always kept up and felt like home.Sadly, due to a job opportunity we had to relocate. Despite us leaving, Grace and Yvette continued to help us so much, and made the process of ending our lease easy. Grace was even kind enough to grab a package for us when it was misdelivered. If we had to move back, wed be happy to call Las Brisas home again.

Grace was amazing to work with, we loved our apartment, the location was great, and Yvette was also really pleasant to work with. We regrettably had to move due to a promotion that took us out of state, but even going through the process of ending a lease was pleasant and easy. I cannot say enough good things about this complex. We loved the size of our floor plan especially for the price, and the location was just perfect. We didnt have any pest issues despite being on the first floor, no real noise issues aside from us being directly on Blanco so we got road noise, but that is not something that the apartment complex can control. Maintenance was always prompt, parking was never a major issue, at worst you had to walk maybe an extra minute instead of parking right at your building, and we never had safety concerns. Keep up the great work Las Brisas!

I have been a resident now going on 3months and I have had all sort of proplems. You name it, its happened. Our ceiling now has water damage due to a/c unit. Our floor has a lump right in our living room, paint job was done to fast, our new appliances we payed for are damaged. Due to high ceilings we pay an easy 140 plus on our CPS bill. We moved in the summer our A/C went out the very first official night. Now winter comes up, we turn on our Heater. That gave out too!, Texas weather and we switch it to our A/C so now that gave out. Our maintenance told us that our unit was never replaced that its very old. Plus our fireplace is not even clean to burn logs, we could catch our place on fire! I WILL NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPLEX TO ANYONE.

I couldn’t agree more with the comment below. I renewed my lease because of the staff being so great for 2 1/2 years living here we adore Lindsay she’s the most professional person we’ve ever encountered at any apartment complex. The maintenance men were very trustworthy and attentive & dependable so sad that they recently replaced everyone now the people answering are rude and not helpful. I’m very devastated. Other than that we love the property, parking isn’t bad, it’s very quiet here. Just wish the staff was the same truly broke our hearts. There was nothing that had to be fixed with them Lindsay deserved so much more than what this property was offering her so sad. She made you feel like family and I didn’t even know her to begin with her character really showed and shined bright. Let’s see if this was worth renewing my lease :’(

Unfortunately this review is alittle too late . Who made the property stand out are now no longer working there. Lindsay and Angel were the reason I wanted to renew due to their professionalism, punctuality and quality care . It’s unfortunate that Seldin couldn’t recognize their all star employees. It’s truly their loss. 10/23/20 UPDATE: Mrs. Yvette is doing great as a community manager . I’m so happy she’s doing awesome and getting the property where it’s needs to be while providing exceptional service !!!

I give Las Brisas 5 stars because of the AMAZING, helpful & very friendly staff (especially Lindsay😊) I only moved in a few weeks ago & it feels like home already. Dont let the location fool you. It may be off of a busy intersection and but its nestled between parks as well which gives it a very secluded feeling and beautiful and natural scenery. They are currently working on renovations (which looks great) and the maintenance crew are hard working, friendly & obviously take pride in doing their job well. The neighbors are pleasant too and its right down the street from Churchill High which is closer for my teens. Overall I love it here!

I am a new resident. The Good:1. Lindsay, in the office, is friendly.2. The apartments are a good size.3. The property is pretty. It has lots of trees.4. I have a lovely view of a green space from my apartment. The Bad:1. The other office lady is unhelpful and rude.2. The office staff almost never answers their phones. You can call for days and never get anyone. I had to call 29 times in a row one day to finally get an answer (after spending DAYS trying to get a hold of them over an URGENT matter).3. Their mailbox is full. You cant leave a voicemail. Ever. Theres another secret phone number only available to current applicants that has a mailbox that isnt full, but they dont return those calls either.4. They rarely respond to email. You dont even know if they read your email, much less are working on your issue.5. If something is missing from your apartment before you move in, say the sliding doors to a closet, they refuse to replace them because they dont make the parts anymore. They say that as though the world has stopped making sliding doors for closets. Install a new track (they are cheap) and put in new doors.6. There were a lot of problems with my apartment when I moved in. For example, all of my food is going bad because the fridge isnt cold enough. I made peanut sauce that normally lasts 14-21 days in the fridge. It was spoiled the day after I made it. I sent an email about this days ago. Has anyone responded? No. Has anyone answered the phone? No. Has anyone answered the door to their office DURING BUSINESS HOURS? No.7. They forced me to buy into a $60 cable package when I never had any intention of getting cable to begin with.8. There were a few surprise charges on my lease: the first was the cable package. Lindsay didnt say anything to me about it, or if she did, it was buried in the mountain of text she sent in her first email. (Seriously, it was longer than the opening chapter of some books.) The second was a risk mitigation fee, which apparently is insurance for the property and should be bundled into your rent. Also, I was charged an outrageous $500 new renter fee because even though I have past rental history, none of my recent apartments would fill out the paperwork and they wouldnt count older history, even though I lived at one place for almost five years. This fee was only disclosed to me AFTER I paid $240 to apply.Dont rent here.

I called this location to get information about one of their units, and the lady in charge was beyond nice to me. I told her how I was a first time apartment renter and how I’m coming from the valley to San Antonio & she helped me with all the questions that i needed. I felt comfortable asking her any question. With an attitude like that you know for a fact you won’t have a single problem while living there. I in fact have made my decision and I will be moving in soon. Thank you ma’am for everything! 100% recommended.

Even with a lease they want to up the rent and charge the residents for things their rent shouldve already covered. Not a good place to live. Safety is not their priority. Teens roam the property unchecked and they try to kill cats on the property for fun. Its very sad. They need to add security after the office closes. Theres no way to get in contact with anyone that matters in the evenings or weekends.

Tl;dr - My car got broken into 3 times in a yr & they sent my final bill to wrong address & it went to debt collection causing negative report in my credit history. My car was broken into 3 times. 3 times in a span of one yr. I read online reviews about car break-ins, I brushed it off as disgruntled lodgers writing it and moved into the place. In Jan (6 months after I moved), right after new yr, a lot of cars got broken into right next to bldg 11/12/13. I brushed it off as one of thing. And I renewed my lease. After a month, in Jul, I bought a new GPS. I knew abt car break-ins, so the moment I park, I would remove the GPS and place into the glove compartment. On 3rd day my car is broken and GPS is stolen. 3rd day! I had a new car stereo and that was stolen too.Either someone randomly broke in and got lucky; or some one was very closely watching as it would be less than a min when my GPS was on the dash. Whichever reason you believe it is, it is not a place to be. You know the biggest issue was? I complain to the management and they had to indecency to say oh you should have taken your valuables with you and not leave in the car. Car break-ins is completely fine and an acceptable thing for them. Shaming the victim was their response.Again in next Jan, my car got broken into. I had an old $10 mobile that I was using as music player & they took it. Same thing as last yr, lot of cars got broken into. You could hear car alarms going off every other night. I didnt even bother letting them know. I left immediately when my lease was up.The biggest issue was these ppl sent my final bill to some other address and would never ever pick up the phone when I called. As a result it went to debt collection and now I have this thing in my credit report and will be there for at least next 7 yrs.Was a pain to live there and is a huge huge pain to leave there!!! Never ever would recommend this place to anyone. One good thing was the maintenance personnel - Alan. He was super helpful and genuinely nice person. Unlike the rest of the management

After I moved from this place, they sent some claim to a debt collector (without ever notifying me that I owed anything), and half the crap on there is a maintenance issue!!! They say they are pet friendly and yet constantly complained about my dog (when there were 3 other dogs in my building barking). And if you want to pay rent online...they charge $25 for card use fee. I told the manager, Kim i think her name is, that I saw a cock roach in my apartment and said shed send someone to come check/spray...never did.

Dont come here unless you like paying for your car to get broken into everyday and the most of the staff just ignores any and every problem you have with your apartment. It took them almost a year of me persistently asking them to replace my stove that had only one burner that worked. Roaches youre better dealing with it on your own. They dont show up in the office and skip work a lot and still charge you late fees because THEY didnt show to work and do their job. All of the staff are the most lazy people I ever met and they should all be out of jobs because theyre not doing it or showing up to work during the hours they claim to be open. Horrible place to live but the apartment is decent for the price.

We first moved here in April, and we loved it. Property manager, Kim, was friendly and welcoming. Ever since she was replaced with someone else, there have been multiple security issues that lead me to not recommend this company or at least this property to anyone. BEWARE. Our first floor apartment had two attempted break-ins, despite us building a fence. Last night, my vehicle was broken into, and medals from a deceased family members military uniform were stolen from the glove compartment. This community has no gate to protect residents, and the front office could care less about these attempts/ successful time of property loss. Not related, but they should also not let their maintenance staff fraternize in personal matters with residents. I cannot wait until our lease is up. We pay over $800/month to live in fear. Seldin, if youre seeing this, invest in a gate to protect those residents making you rich.

I am currently a resident there with my 4 month old baby. For about a month or so I have been infested with rolling pollies in the kitchen and restroom as well as through out the apartment carpet. Not that rollie pollies are dangerous but it is disgusting having to sweep them up daily. All the office did was send pest control and told me to pour bleach down the drains. Recently I have seen spiders have been on my sofa throw pillows when my baby is on the couch that was scary and also noticed spiders on my curtains. My apartment is clean there is no reason for these problems...the office just doesnt care. I want out!I have photos!!!

Updated Dec2018: A great small-scale apartment complex for non-fussy people. Located near the Salado Greenway & close to two fantastic parks. Very natural area; a lot of trees (and wildlife). Very convenient for accessing major highways; some businesses in walking distance.Fabulous floor plans: roomy; a lot of windows; spacious patios/balconies. Not the depressing cookie cutter apts currently built, so residents tend to stay, making for a friendly community. The on-site management is friendly and mostly reasonable about their policies. (Hopefully future policies will punish only guilty behaviors, not normal living.) One con: Seldin Company nickel-and-dimes its residents too much (a $3.25 payment processing fee ON TOP OF RENT; exorbitant hikes to pet rent). These things are not a problem for me, but fussy people might not appreciate them:* Road noise from Blanco Road.* North-end units: More road noise from Wurzbach Parkway.* Occasional airplane noise, but its very much in the background since we are not all that close to the airport.* The buildings are older, so they need maintenance. Seldin Company seems uninterested in long-term maintenance (foundation issues, leaks in peoples units, regular water line repairs, one parking lot floods in the rain).* Some units lack modern updates (carpet, appliances, cabinetry, blinds).* Splatter-paint faux-granite countertop treatment looks very sloppy.* Management needs to stay on top of residents following the rules.* Since the construction of the Wurzbach Parkway put us at a major intersection, a security access gate would help (speeders cutting through the property are a danger to residents). If you get into a good building, youll find very sturdy construction, thick floors and walls saving you from neighbor noise, and a comfortable home. If Seldin Company would invest more in the long term maintenance of the buildings and property, this could be a fantastic place to live.

My fiance and I have been living here for about 3 years and have seen multiple apartment managers, but chanel is by far the worst. She has constantly proven that she has no respect for me or my fiance, has made false accusations and has pushed our needs off as something that is our problem. Constantly making excuses as to why things have been overlooked. All of these things I can only tolerate for so long. But the last straw for me was when she screamed at me over the phone and then months later screamed at my fiance in the front office. Ive been on top of things and tried calling the HR department to get things resolved and have heard nothing for weeks. On top of all of these things we have been broken into twice at this residence with no help or apology from any staff member. Please rethink before signing a lease. Of all of the apartments Ive lived in in san antonio this is by far the WORST.RUN AWAY AND DONT LOOK BACK. 👎👎👎

My husband and I have had a great experience at Las Brisas until tonight. Parking policy is ridiculous. You are to make sure you and your guest have a permit or else they will be towed. My sister and husbands friend came over to hang out around 8PM. When they went to leave around 12:30AM their cars were gone. They were towed. Their visit was unexpected and they were not staying the night. It’s ridiculous that this has happened. I’m furious. We are grown adults who feel like we have to have “rules” while living here. It never crossed my mind to tell them “Oh hey sorry it’s best you shouldn’t come over because if you stay after midnight your car will be towed” We are on our way at 2 in the morning to get these cars $400 later. We are furious. Makes me not want to stay here. To bad we already resigned a lease. This issue is pathetic and needs to be dealt with.
