Was visiting a friend.. very nice complex

Went to visit a friend I cant believe that the tenants are allowed to leave their trash in front of their doors overnight so the cats and dogs that wander through their tear it up what a mess my friend has complained about it but the neighbor continues put their trash out. I would think that would be a violation of the lease contract. Three stars and thats being kind just the trash being out in the front was big turn off.

Everyone is loud here. There is constant problems with no parking. There is a car thief living in the apartment complex and the office does nothing about it. Unprofessional at times. Plumbing is not good and the foundation is cracked and uneven.Drains clog easily and there is mold growing.DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!!DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!!DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!!

I love the architecture! It has natural light and the ceilings are very tall. Big rooms, bathrooms😊 Very nice 👍

I am a homeowner that lives behind the fence and I’ve called numerous times about trash going through the fence cracks to my backyard and same story “we will call you back with an update” it’s been months and no reply. When calling back same story.

Amazing Apartments and staff very professional.

We were told multiple times by head manager that we got in just had to pay what we need. Only to find out we were over charged 100+$. Then told theyd refund us it to only ignore the calls after. They themselves told me my credit was good and we had enough people, To the point they said not to even put a garenter. Then denied us for the for my credit which they purposely used my bad credit (which was still over ther 550) When my friends applied with restricted pet breed, less people, less rental history, they got approved just cause they new a guy with connects to the apartment. Weve been waiting atleast a week for the money the MANAGER said we werent supposed to pay and get refunded. They even gave us a number to a realtor but guess what THEY INGNORE OUR CALLS/TEXTS LIKE THE OFFICE FOR THE APT. They even knew wed be homeless without this cause if we payed here we wouldnt have money for anywhere else. They didnt care just stole money and cut off ties. DO NOT TRUST THEM!

Ive lived at Cielo for 10 months and I would recommend. Cynthia is attentive and patient. Maintenance does quick turnarounds, very dog friendly (residents MOSTLY put their dogs on leashes and pick up after them), landscaping and property is well maintained. Dumpsters are picked up frequently. The only con is that residents dump large furniture which only causes delay. Mgmt communicates via text which is convenient. Plenty of parking.

So far, so great! I had such an easy time applying and securing my new apartment. The staff there is so friendly and seems so accommodating. My new apartment looks beautiful on the inside and is just what I was looking for. Amenities like the pool and gym look great, and the discount for working at specific places is awesome. Cant wait to start moving in!

It’s a nice convenient location. However, it’s 5/6/20 during the pandemic, I currently rent from another apartment that I have to move out of due to an emergency and I put in an app for this place 3 days before today and I make the 3x rent and have good renting history and I’m a Vet after their flyer says they support Vets. Well, my app was denied due to “not enough rental history” and they kept all of my $165 ($65 app fee + $100 admin fee) not even the admin fee was refundable. Be cautious if you put in an app here.

Don’t do it. They lie.I was supposed to get money off for renewing my lease but never got it. When we got the new office staff she said she will only take off $100 for renewing my lease AGAIN. For what? So the same thing can happen again? Total bs.I used to love it here and was excited to be staying here until it went downhill with the new staff.They are disrespectful and meanYou won’t get your full deposit back and the money they promised you.

This apartment complex hasnt caused me any issues whatsoever. They always are very quick and responsive to maintenance requests. Everyone has their own experiences with them but I havent had an issue. I feel safe and comfortable here. A/C is always on 71 and my CPS bill in July is $120 in a 2 bedroom apartment. Your experience with the apartment complex is how you make it.

Please, Please make sure you are going to move in this complex BEFORE you give them ANY money. My son paid a $165 Admin and application fee and they did the application and my son and his dad has the same name so there was a mix up with his credit check and the apartments denied him even after getting verification that there was an identity mix up between father and son from the credit agency. Needless to say, they kept the whole $165 and my son has to find another complex to apply at. I do not think that was fair for them to keep the whole amount. The application fee, I can understand but the rest of the fees are un caused for. Would not recommend

The leasing agent was so nice see checked other apartments for me on her computer. She didnt even have to but she showed me human kindness. Hard to find that. Thanks

Ive been here almost a year now and when we first moved in, the management wasnt much to be desired. After the new management took over, maintenance and work orders were being followed up in a timely manner!

If I could rate less than one star, I would. The worst place Ive ever lived. Our handles are falling off our cabinets, and they started doing that a month in. I put in a request and it got ignored. As of recent, our dishwasher has started to fall out of the wall because its not properly secured. I have put a work order in twice about this. It has fallen out and almost hit us and/or our dog on numerous occasions. The staff in the office change so frequently its not even worth learning their names or bringing anything to their attention because theyre not even going to be around for more than a few weeks. I have never talked to the same person twice. Not to mention the quality of other residents here, cops are here all the time. I also discovered that as long as you dont have any history of missing your rent payments, you can live here regardless of your criminal history. Nice! They changed that after I moved in here. I dont feel safe. At all. They took our gate out and replaced it with a measly video camera pointed at the mailboxes that had previously been broken into 3 times before they did anything about it. We had to have our mail forwarded to the post office for several months because they wouldnt fix them despite numerous calls and a letter asking them to fix it. Save yourself a year of suffering and sign somewhere else. Oh, and did I mention we are paying double for water, pest, and trash because they are switching companies? I have nothing nice to say about this experience.UPDATE:Ive moved out of that wretched place and Im the happiest Ive been. Im so thankful to be paid up with Cielo and that I never have to drive into that nightmare of a place again!

I have lived here for 15 YEARS! Would like to stay another 15 years.This area is my community and its very nice to have so many businesses so close.Yes,there have been some maintenance issues but I hold previous management responsible for that. I am 100% disabled and was told that maintenance would install assistance devices at no charge to me.This was done. I moved from a 2 bedroom to a refurbished, spatial 1 bedroom. I was only charged a $50 transfer fee.This is the only fee l have ever been charged for outside of the rent.Yes, I do find the charge for pet rent comical but its understandable given the fact that pet owners usually DONT pick up after their pets so someone else has to be paid to do it.Given the number of large dogs here its an unwelcome task.Did you know Cielo has fenced in the back part of the property and turned it into a dog park?I am totally happy with my spacious one bedroom and the all new kitchen appliances.Also very happy with the refurbished bathroom area. Im proud to have my friends over!Management and maintenance strive to make this complex an excellent property and tenants must do their part also.Pick up after your pets, dispose of trash properly and upstairs neighbors try not to start a bowling tournament at 1:00 in the morning.

If I could leave no stars I would. This place is a joke. Management changes almost every 6 to 8 months. New managment is rude and does not seem to care about the residents. Our 2 bedroom 2 bath is a joke. Water damage and mold under neath the floorboards in the bathrooms. Everything seems to be breaking down. Put in a work order nothing gets done. Our highest water bill has been 85$ Water leaks all the time. Water gets shut off every 2 weeks in the complex between 9am to 4/5 PM sometimes days a time. Ac doesnt work that well at all. I can not wait to get out of this apt

Great location. Great floor plans. Dog friendly and awesome staff. I love living here ! Not to mention this location is right next to the park and a 3 min drive from a really nice Walmart. Parking is tight but what can you do we live in SA. Overall Im very happy to call this apartment home.

Hii, I have not yet moved into the this apartment complex because I have one quick question . How much is it to purchase one bedroom ?

Ridiculous requirements. Wanted 3.5 times the rent. Rent was only $955 plus 15 for pest and trash. I made over 3 times that but not exactly 3.5 times. Smh, I was denied, but I work at a great paying job and I have child support income. If I made 3.5 times, then I would have a house and not an apartment. Apartment was mediocre as well. Nothing fancy so why is management so picky. I sure hope they mail my $49 Admin fee back.

This place has been an amazing home for me and my husband!! The ladies at the office are professional and helpful along side with the maintenance staff all who work well together and keep this apartment complex at a pristine condition. The staff is always helpful with any problems you have in a timely courteous fashion. A straight shot from the interstate, away from all the city noise, this place has been nothing but smiles since Ive moved in last October. Even after suggesting a friend to move in with me, and upgrading apartments, the transition was nothing but smooth sailing. Definitely recommending this place to anyone looking into moving into a clean, hassle free, and well kept apartment complex.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY.This place has gone downhill since the new management took over. I have multiple problems with my apartment that never seem to get fixed even after multiple maintenance requests. The apartments look nice but they are complete junk beneath the surface level. I would not let my worst enemy move into these apartments.

My chimmeny fell off! Moved into the model apartment with no doors!! Made to pay rent!!! (Had to pay the black widows rent there as well ;)Then moved into an apartment with no AC, it took TEN months to repair. This isnt a good home fore your family, or yourself!!

Ive had a pretty great experience here. Despite a hiccup with the initial application, Priscilla in the office has been beyond helpful and incredibly accommodating. So far so good for me.

Nice place to live. Employees are all very nice and friendly. The maintenance team is not the best, but you get what you pay for. Billing practices are a bit sketchy with lots of hidden fees sometimes adding to an extra $50+ on top of rent and utilities. They are pet-friendly, though, with no weight or breed restrictions. All in all, not a horrible place to live. Just okay at best.

My Daughter lives there and likes them.

My ex wife continues to submit work requests that go unanswered. She has large amounts of water leaking in her bathtub constantly which can be heard throughout the apartment. Furthermore, she has no fire extinguisher. My two children live there with her. The office is incredibly rude and dismissive, and when we threatened to contact the San Antonio Fair Housing Council they told us our lawyers could contact their lawyers. Do. Not. Live here.

Forgot to add the new manager has been really trying to turn this place around (& is). Lio and her are the only reason we are renewing our lease. They seem to be really trying to turn around the place !

Worst place ever! Save your money! We have a long list of things that have gone wrong here. When we first moved in it was great. Lots of young professionals living here and the pool was great. I felt safe. Within a year its gone down hill. Now the people that live here are terrible. Our apartment always smells like weed and cigarettes. The pools all messed up because people let their 10 kids go crazy and break everything. They still havent fixed it. Our water stinks because the pipes are so old. Our door knobs have fallen off. Our kitchen counter tops have huge bubbles in them because water leaked under them. We have black mold almost everywhere. They flipped our apartment so fast that nothing was fixed right. Our air conditioner went out. It took them 3 days to fix. In 100 degree weather! The people next door hadnt pay their rent and were about to get kicked out. The office thought it was them calling about the air and told the maintenance man not to worry about it because they were getting kicked out anyway. I hope you like to pay for other peoples bills. Our utilities went up and when we asked they told us that it was because when they bought the apartment the bills werent caught up. Weve been paying other peoples bills all along. Cant wait to leave!

New ownership means new management, i have been without ac since late may, put in request with allen, late may, they came to service ac and did not fix it. Instead they left the ac set on 70 knowing that it was nit working. For 2 days it ran up my electric bill as i was out of town. Upon returning i addressed this issue with Cynthia, according to her it was my fault as i did not tell them i was out of town. Its common sense if its not working dont leave it running. On june 8th i spoke with megan in the office as well as outting a follow up service request online. I have email comfirming my request. Nothing was ever fixed. On the 22nd i spoke with leo, she once again said they would fix my ac on monday after i informed her that its been a miserable 85 degrees in my apartment. Nothing was ever fixed on july 5th both leo and cynthia came to collect the rent. I told them i had made plans to break the lease as i was not going to spend another day in that miserable hot apartment. They of course both denied speaking with me about the ac. And could care less i was leaving.

This is the worst place to live. Staff in the office are liars and they do not know what the hell is going on half the time. Called to find out how much owed for rent they couldnt tell me. They said dont worry they would tell me when I come in. Said had till the fourth go in they charged 75. Late fee after they said had till fourth. Do not trust these liars. Good luck who ever moves in there. If I could rate these apartments I would give them a negative 10.

Cielo has an nice office. Thats it. With very few exceptions, employees act like you owe them something and are horrible at helping you resolve issues over the phone. Lived there from May 14 through May 15. Had to constantly watch our step when walking outside because of all the dog s**t everywhere. They were horrible at keeping up with it. And like others have pointed out, parking is a bad bad joke. The apartment itself was only mediocre on a bright and sunny day. Had to have several repairs done before we could move into it. It didnt look at all like the unit we were shown. Even with all this, we left that place better than we found it and still were told we owed maintenance fees for bogus stuff like rips on the vinyl flooring, which if youre at all familiar with this kind of flooring, it is the cheapest junk you can get. For that alone we were charged about $60. As ridiculous as some of these fees were, the problem was in the fact that I couldnt pay for it online because I no longer had access, or even through the phone. We moved out of state so its not like I could stop by with a checkbook and review the charges in person. I asked them to send me a bill in the mail and I would send a check. I never received it. What I did get was a letter from a collections agency. I called the apartment office, spoke to the billing person, she apologized and told me she had the wrong address. She supposedly took down the right address and said shed resolve the issue with the collection agency as well as mail me the bill. It is an ongoing issue. Still no bill but I did get informed by my bank that I had been turned into collections by Cielo. So here I am again, having to deal with obnoxious Cielo employees over the phone.

I have light fixtures in their boxes that have yet to be installed. I have had no door knobs on the doors in the apartment. I have been here since February, they wiped out the entire staff and brought in their own people. That alone screams shady. I have no blinds on my patio either they were suppose to put up months ago. Upon moving in the had to resurface all the counter tops, floors and removed door knobs because their previous tenants obviously left very unhappy. Highly not recommended.

Have lived here almost 3 years, mostly quiet but have had a few inconsiderate neighbors with loud music and/or fighting. One guy next to me was throwing his girls clothes out and trying to set it on fire. People below me smoke marijuana and it seeps into my place, which is not cool cause it makes my place smell like it. I currently have a neighbor next to me that has his kids every other week more or less, and they run and jump around so loudly they shake the walls and all. I feel bad for whoever live under him.There is mold in ac vents and water areas, Ive done my best to clean it up myself. Matience seems to always be busy so if you ask for something to be fixed, be prepared to wait a month.Unfortunately the pool this summer has been closed most of the summer, open finally first week of July, but on July 4th, the day we really planned on it, closed. Today, August 18, its closed again. Very disappointing, especially since my lease is about to be up and they now want to raise the rent $24 more a month.Lastly, the mailbox area has been broken into numerous times. They installed a camera, but sure enough, got broken into again. I called about it after hours, never got a call back.Good luck to all.

Location was the only major pro, just about everything else isnt awesome. My dog caught a life threatening illness from contagious dog waste not picked up, which resulted a big vet bill. Maintenance was mostly extremely poor, mgmt changed frequently the 3.5 years I lived here. The quality of residents and office Managers became extremely poor towards the end of my time here, broken down vehicles, domestic violence, cops frequently on premises, ppl on drugs walking around late at night. the upgraded apartments just had a lipstick job. Pool was closed for the last 2 SUMMERS I lived here.

Do Not Rent Here!! On top of your outrageous utility bills,($800 CPS for bad a/c) you will find that your $1000 a month apt leaks, is surrounded by dog poop, and that management finds some kinda way to make extra money off of you every month . If you try to pay rent with check or money order, its $35. I have to pay you, to pay you? They want access to your bank account. Staff changes so frequently, you dont know who is in the office. I had the new manager tell me she can enter my apartment for any reason, even though i didnt submit a request and Im not delinquent in rent. I was told this is her property and I just live here. Thais fine if they need to enter, however when my minor child is home sick, I dont want ppl I never even met entering my unit... If you are considering living here, look around. There are way better options for the price you pay. They are so busy charging residents, fix the damn gates, and get some courtesy patrol to stop all the breakins.

Not only is their attempt to flip such an old community a total fail. But the staff is always changing and its impossible to communicate without repeating yourself to at least 3 to 4 people. I am currently paying for upgrades I havent received for TWO months. Not even a schedule or attempt no matter how much I insist Im flexible. All because managers keep changing and all they say is my new rent amount is in the contract but so are my upgrades.. I cant even get a call back from a regional. This is the worst expirence, run the other way!

Other than having nice faux flooring and a decent sized walk in closet, I would not recommend. This place is so unsafe! Mailboxes get broken into all the time, cars have been broken into, and now apartments are getting broken into. I would not have moved in here if I knew it was so dangerous. Its really not worth taking the chance and loosing all of your stuff.

Ive lived here 6 months Apartments are Ok not the greatest but they are updated nicely Parking is a freaking Nightmare if your not home by 430 you have to park on the other side of the complex completely just to find a space Most the Office Girlslike Candy are Great except for Christine in the Office is RUDE via the Telephone its great that there are no Breed restrictions but that does attract some sub-par Neighbors that dont clean up after their pets when they relieve themselves on sidewalks and the ones that do like to throw it on your patio if you live on the first floor so if your looking for a basic apartment this place is great if not dont buy into the pictures on the website like i did its Not that Great

*2nd Update*The area of the flood was never fixed by the property and because it flood again with the heavy rain. I had to fix it myself (yes this is after the new owners). This place is great when everything is going good. Like the office staff tries to do new things to help create a feeling of family/ community.My issue is with the owners, since they took over they increased the cost of trash, and the water bill keeps going up. And im sure it will go up higher soon because of the water waste that runs down into the ditch and drive ways and is a normal practice for the complex during spring and summer. Plus they passed the fee of the company they are paying to do the billing on to us as well, we have to pay the admin fee for them to bill me.It makes it difficult to enjoy my place at the beginning of every month when I see these extra cost.*Update*I have now been here for 5 months. I had another flood issue and noone ever showed up, even though I called the emergency number because the water was coming through my light fixture from upstairs.Also the swimming pool was closed for over the months and even though it has finally reopened there is always have some reason why they can only have one gate open. And as far as the gym being available 24/7 is not true. So when you seem to like an amenity, such as the hot hot tub they first showed me they filled it with gravel when they closed the pool for over three months.Most of the time I have to park close to the office because there is no parking by my building*Original post*I have been here less than a month. While everyone in the office is great. But I find that it had to be consistent call and reminder for anything to get done. No matter what it is. Right now it is raining and my bedroom keeps flooding Im told as long as it is raining nothing can be done. The way this is, this cant be the first time it has flooded. Now I wonder if I got new floor because of the flooding.

I could literally write a book with all the problems we came along with this place . roach infested complex’s, mold, constant water leaks, literally moved in there was a huge hole in the wall they “fixed”the day we got our key . Few months later the apartment next door water was leaking into our apartment causing it to mold even more they never came back to fix it correctly . You constantly have to call to get them to come fix whatever is broken or leaking . Also there always fees and they are ridiculous fees that prices are always changing . When they switched over companies to the new owners . We had to over pay and still been over paying because the corporate has not set up the water fee . So we were paying the rent amount of what we payed last before the company switched over . It was just really sketchy . Every time I call to ask how much we had to pay and ask if they got the water added yet they say no that there still waiting for corporate to set it up . When we had leaks more than once in the apartment and they would just come and look and say they have to wait a week for it to dry to work on it and they would not come back and fix anything, the paint would start bubbling up . Worst place ever . When we went to turn in our key on when our lease was up . In the lease it says we had till the 2 till midnight for our lease to be up . They charged us for those two days even though we were already out of the apartment. Basically just save your money and look else ware . Always charging for bs . Please see the pictures !UPDATE *** just received my final move out notice bill, even though I already paid the ridiculous fee for the 2 days that I mentioned above along with utilities fees from June . They sent me a final move or untiltie bill from May to July even though I was already out of the complex in July . And I always was on time wish my bills for utilities the prior month . Ridiculous still trying to get money even after I’m out of this place . Save your money look else where !

I have been living here for less than a month and the experience has been a NIGHTMARE. Ive seen multiple COCKROACHES, my outlets dont work and my apartment FLOODS. They didnt clean the apartment before I moved in. They didnt change the locks on the doors, I had to have maintenance change them as I couldnt get into the apartment. There was pet food and stains on the floor and cigarette butts from the old tenant. I complained multiple times and issues are never taken care of, however, I did receive an email that my order was uncompleted.The one and only perk to this place is that they allow all breeds as we have an American Bulldog. THATS IT.They put on a good show with the fancy office, pool and workout room but I assure you, the show stops there.

Great hidden gem

We lived here for 6 months. In that six months we had roaches, mold, people selling drugs in the parking lot, people attempting to break in. Etc. It was terrible and ever since they changed the management team, they suck. Office manager is rude and couldnt care less about your problems

If I could give 0 stars I would. I normally like to give places the benefit of the doubt but this has to be the absolute worst place I have ever lived. I got moved into an unfinished apartment with flea and maintenance issues. Weeks of nothing being done I get switched to an unclean apartment that smells like cigarettes and has dead roaches everywhere. I cleaned thinking maybe everything will be okay but no.. The apartment is infested! Do not move here! There are other roscoe properties that look better, cost the same, and the people they hire to handle these issues ACTUALLY do their job!

My apt floods. AC goes out. Maintenance is slow. The pool was a deep green color for labor day weekend and then they drained it before summer was over. They wouldnt even offer to remove some outrageous late fees i was charged because office was closed when I went to pay. Thier website charges you $50 to pay your rent online if you dont have a bank account and routing number to add.

If I could rate it 0 stars, I would. Its almost not worth the time to write a full explanation, but other reviews of poor maintenance and lackluster management are spot on. After this place has transitioned from one owner to the next, unfortunately Roscoe Properties is now stuck with this place. Do yourself a favor and just find a different place to live.

I have lived in this complex for 5 months now and I love it. I came from a very bad living situation at the Sedona Canyon Apartmnets and if you take a look at my review I left for them youll see I dont hold back. I have the traditional style apartment and I still feel like I am living luxurious. The maintenance guys here are very friendly. They do the job correctly and in a timely manner. I understand people have bad days at work sometimes but the office staff here never shows that. They are always ready to assist you with a smile. The grounds are well kept and my neighbors are good peoples. The only bad experience I have had so far involves the pool. I know it is technically winter but this crazy Texas weather says otherwise and I went to take a dip in the pool and it was dirty. The hot tub wasnt even warm and the water was green. But that was maybe 2 months ago, I have not been back to the pool since then. I definitely plan on renewing my lease and recommend this community for everyone.

Building wise, its an OK complex. Lots of shady people moving in. Maintenance is lazy and not trust worthy. Lots of break ins recently, into cars and apartments. No security or cameras. The pool area is too loud at night when people party. Nobody is on the same page in the office.

This place is horrible . First the apartment wasnt clean when we moved in. Smelt like dog.! Outlets coming out of wall . Then hot water heater went out maintenence tried to tell us nothing was wrong. Complained about dishwasher said it wont drain all the wat they said its normal had maytag come out paid out of my pocket saying thats not normal for water to be in there! Then complain about all the vents in department had black stuff i think its mold. The came to clean vents but left vent covers outside apartment. Called management and she always tries to over talk you and say your rude. I told her its her job to listen to tenants complain. Took vent cover showing her she tells me there ordering more and thats not the vent. But it is!! Took pictures to send to healtg department. Because thats black mold!!!! She has a boss ill find out who owns this property. I dont care if its old it should be taken care for what they are charging!!!!!

I lived here when it was audubon apartments. The new management roscoe came in a few months before my lease was up. My rent would go from 569 to 700 ish for the smallish bedroom. What really pissed me off was i paid a 569 deposit that i was supposed to get back when i moved out. All of a sudden it wasnt in my lease to get it and i was charged 800+. Im not paying you to upgrade the apartment. Thats ridiculous. Ive never owed an apartment until dealing with roscoe. And nothing was damaged in the apt. And i cant even use my 569 deposit to go towards it because all of a sudden i was lying about paying it. This place has definately went down since audubon. They tried to make everything look fancy but all they did was fix the exterior. The apartment structure is still jacked up.

I hate my upstairs neighbor. He is so loud 2am in the morning with his footsteps, and his dog running around all night long. The property has no concern for me whatsoever. I can never get my tub resurfaced, I swear.

So much need to be fix there, but all they keep doing is putting paint on the buildings.

I never give negative feedback but this place is getting out of control. At least twice a week my toilet is clogged because their pipes are clogged and they dont fix it properly. This is really upsetting. We have complained a few times and it gets fixed for a day or two and it starts again. Theres a weird smell coming from my bathroom sink. The hot tub is disgusting. I have had people coming to visit me and the hot tub is always dirty or cold or both and we can never go in. The water in it is now dark green and my four year old went in and woke up with a fever and now Im gonna have to take him to the doc. This place is becoming very unsanitary and Im gonna have to move as soon as my lease is up or before.

They have no answering service or 24 hour contact, and the front gate is WIDE open for thieves.
