⚠️Warning! Current tenants here- this has been sold to a new property management company (trinity multi-family) and they are unprofessional, rude and are scammy. Among many other experiences the most recent is this - They are currently trying to claim everyone’s washer/dryers are rented (NOT IN OUR LEASE) and DEMANDING back pay with a threat of late fees in a day notice. It’s a shame- the place was great then I renewed my lease and now It’s terrible. Do not rent here.

I loveeeeee this apartment complex!! It’s my first one and I am living with my boyfriend. We love it here. They have food trucks and margarita trucks that come by!! How sweet!!!!! Not too mention Samantha!! She’s amazing. So nice and very helpful. Maintenance is amazing as well. If you have an issue they respond so quick to their work orders. They leave behind a note and a copy of the work order and it’s signed with who ever tended to the issue. I absolutely love how spacious it is. DEFINITELY a major upgrade from my boyfriends old apartment. ❤️ Definitely will be leasing for awhile!!!

Trinity Multifamily took over the property management and are now charging for fees that are not in the lease all the way back to July. They’re barely sending the notice tomorrow and expect fees that were never part of the original leases. Terrible management.

She answered every question I had, don’t forget she’s super friendly! It’s my first month and so far the neighborhood is quite and everyone here seems to do their own thing which is absolutely awesome!! 5 out of 5

Flea infested apartment, manager ELIZABETH is unprofessional, rude and has no place in a management position. After 1 month of living there, they are letting me out of my lease, I suspect they knew about the flea infestation. They fumigated but it can take months to get rid of fleas. They entered my apartment without my consent or notification to spray again, I think they are trying to get rid of as many fleas as possible so they can lease out ASAP. On top of this the apartment smells of mildew, cabinets have chipped paint in restroom and kitchen. Not just a chip here and there it looks like a cat scratched the doors. This place is awful and the management right down to owners of property are a joke.

5fifty is, by far, the best apartment complex I have lived in. Staff is always very friendly and happy to accommodate any needs and help in any way possible. Maintenance requests are completed very quickly and efficiently. The community is quite and clean, with lots of parking available. The community events and food trucks are a huge plus.If you are looking for an apartment at a great price in a great location, 5fifty is a wonderful option!

When I first moved to 5FIFTY Apartments I signed up for a 9 month lease. My lease is up and I’m not only am I renewing my lease but I’m moving to a bigger apartment. Love this place! The office staff is always very friendly. If you submit a maintenance job request it gets taken care of quickly. Community is very quiet. Department and grocery shopping is a short distance away. Schools close by. Neighbors are friendly. I would highly recommend 5FIFTY Apartments to anyone looking for a great place to live.

I love living here at 550! The ladies in the office are always very helpful and kind.. property is amazing and very clean and quiet... its dog friendly and my dog loves all the interaction and the Dog park.. the pool is,always clean and people here are very kind. . We looked at several places ... and I must say... we are very happy our daughter found this place! I would highly recommend this place!

I LOVE the office and maintenance staff at 5Fifty Apartments. I had just went through a Divorce an was looking into apartments. They understood and treated me as a person not a tenant or customer. My 8 year old daughter loves it here and its next to a daycare, library, elementary and middle school. Target and Home Depot are within walking distance. To me, its a community.Thanks,Michael Jones

Do not apply if you have bad credit! they go based solely on your credit. I have good rental history never been evicted or broken a lease and no criminal record and they denied me. They wouldnt even work with me. Their managing company said as soon as your credit comes back and its bad they wont even look at the other factors like rental history, job, etc. And as soon as I was denied their attitude changed with me( the office people). And since the office is closed i had to do my application online which I had to pay an extra $100. And know they are saying it will take 30days to get those $100 back!!! During a pandemic when people need their money they should be able to put it back into your account. Dont waist your time, poorly renovated old apartments!!

Been with 5Fifty for 3 years now! The community is very quiet. I never have to worry about loud neighbors. 5Fifty is surrounded by 2 schools, a daycare, a gymnastic school and a public library! Its the safest spot to be! My place got robbed at my previous living so I feel very safe living at a place where I’m surrounded by children. The leasing office staff is always nice and hospitable.

I just moved here from out of state. The experience with Elizabeth and Ashley was great! I didn’t know anyone in Texas and they already made me feel at home. It’s walking distance from my daughters school and safe for her to walk. It’s always clean and quiet. I love this place so far

Love everything about this place! The location is perfect; safe and convenient. Maintenance is very fast when you need it, which for me is rarely. The complex is clean, quiet and well lit. The apartments themselves are well worth the price, especially with all the upgrades they have made. Everyone here is so friendly, which really makes it feel like home. And the ladies in the front office are amazing! They make living here even better than it already is.

We have lived her for about 6 months and couldn’t be happier! The accessibility and location are amazing with the library next door. The property is quiet, with plenty of green space for my kids to play outside with their friends. Maintenance requests are addressed quickly and the office staff went above and beyond to make the application process move quickly. The pool is relaxing with a barbecue grill, there is a gym, bark park, and basketball courts to wear all the members of my family out before bedtime :) We love 5 Fifty!

It is so quiet here that you forget it is an apartment complex..I have not had much need for the maintenance or front office, but the few times I have, they have been right on top of taking care of things..I have worked with Ashley since day 1 and she has always been so accomadating! For the past 2 years that I’ve lived here I really enjoy it. It’s quiet. Very friendly leasing staff and maintenance. I feel much more at ease to allow my girls be outside. When there’s a problem the staff is on it. Thank you to the staff.

They horrible at getting their charges together ! They over charge and will never tell me what the extra charge us for !! They continue to charge me for insurance and I pay my own insurance ! Horrible apartment owners they care more about taking pictures and things looking cute than paper work !

After living here for a while, I can say that this is one of the nicer complexes Ive come across. Just pay your rent and bills on time, like any other living situation.Management is willing to work with you as long as your favors arent beyond their means.

Office staff is the sweetest! The complex was nice and clean, unfortunately they didnt have availability in my time frame if they did I would have definitely moved in here.

No problem moving in. I am here only for a short lease of 3 months, they were happy to accommodate for that. Jamie Wilson has been really helpful with all the process of moving in and documentation part. These are not the fanciest apartments but for the price tag(~$850 for 1 Bed room ) these are fine.

This place is great. I just moved out because my wife and I purchased a home. We lived there for 6 years and we never had not one complaint. The staff there is wonderful. I will definitely come back and visit them once we are settled in.

This is a great place to live, I orginally moved here because it is really close to work and rarely have to venture far for basic needs, the office and maintenance staff are great and treat you with respect . Anytime I need to visit the office or request service they are prompt and courteous. The neighborhood is quiet and there is always ample parking for residents and guest.

They make the leasing process so easy for my clients and they are responsive to them throughout the lease term. The management maintains the property very well and my clients, who become residents rave about the management team, their apartment, maintenance and location. They get value for their money. You can still get an apartment there in the $700s quite often. That is an amazing rate for the location and for what they offer. I dont usually do reviews but this was a must. I am a new tenant to these apartments and I am extremely impressed! First of all, I moved in last week and there were several flaws with my unit that needed fixing. I spoke with Ana and Celeste in the front office on Monday about my frustration with all this. By today, Wednesday, almost everything has been addressed AND FIXED!! The ladies at the front desk do an amazing job communicating with their residents and maintainence. I even got to do a walk around my unit with the office manager and maintenance to address all my concerns. This service definitely deserves five stars. I highly recommend to anyone looking for a new apartment home. The people here are friendly and it is very kid friendly.

I am so pleased with the staff that helped me find my perfect apartment! They were extremely friendly and inviting. After spending about an hour touring the property, I knew this was where I wanted to be.

I absolutely love being a resident here at 5Fifty. The office staff is very nice, professional and well dressed. 😀 I was not going to renew my lease and after speaking with the manager Ely, I found out that I had options and I was able to transfer into an upgraded apt which I absolutely love. Last but not least, they have an amazing maintenance staff, Mr. Herbert, he is very nice and anything that needs to be fixed he does it right the first time around with promt timing. Like it before with Desert Shadows. Our lease is up and they are not giving us the option to renew because we were a few days late. Small space with a big price tag on it, even with updated everything its not worth it. Glad to be leaving.Highly Do Not recommend

Horrible place to live. Do not move here! Management is horrendous, maintenance guys go into your apartments and steal from you when you are not home. Then when you tell management and corporate about the incident all you get is a cold shoulder. The same maintinence guys are still currently employed. They didnt even fire them. Dont let the renovations fool you, they just slip paint right over mold without even telling u that the apt had mold which is s direct violation of the fair housing act. I dont know why they havent been shut down yet.

This apartment complex has its up sides. the units are spacious, lots of green belt areas, and plenty of parking, and it is very convenient to everything. Office staff is wonderful and helpful but are limited in what they are allowed to do by corporateDownsides? absolutely no amenities whatsoever. No fitness center, no pet park, although when I moved in 2 years ago, the management promised one was being planned. Maintenance responds quickly, but rarely fixes anything properly. No wi-fi although every other place in the free world offers it.... and now, a new (more expensive by the way) laundry facility that uses a card that has to be reloaded in the office???? so if you work the same hours as the office, you are basically screwed for using the laundry.Maintenance? Forget it. total incompetence. Took a year to get a leak in my ceiling fixed, and then refused to repair the hole in the ceiling correctly. their idea of a repair? a piece of wood screwed over the hole and painted. asked for the materials to fix it myself over a month ago... still nothing.

Just recently moved here and I must say going through the rental process was great! Audrey was pleasant to work with. They really try to help you if there are any issues with rental history or credit. The whole staff is nice. The property so far is nicely kept up, no issues with neighbors, every one speaks. The apartment I chose was unavailable to see before I leased it. When i moved in there were some minor issues that were addressed and looks like they are prompt at fixing them.. No pests or rodent issues what so ever. Overall I feel safe and glad I made the decision to stay here..ConsThe walls are very thin.. I can hear my neighbors walking, vaccuming, and tvs..Update!!!!! I have been here for 2 months now and I can say that the office works really fast on office requests and making sure their residents are happy.. Dan the maintenance guy is AWESOME!! He fixed everything with a smile! Such a pleasure to have him help out with the minor issues that needed to be fixed.. If you need a place to stay were you feel comfortable and and can truly call HOME..RENT HERE...

Well we are a military family and it was all going well until the unti under us had a leak......nooowwwww we have elephant size roaches coming up through our pipes in both bathrooms tub drains and kitchen sink...theyve sprayed ive been told to put bleach down the drains and cover them ...when i wake up theyve moved drains...or if i forget to cover a drain....IM GUARANTEED TO HAVE A ROACH ....theh have been crawling on my babies clothes on their art work...getting in my trash... like ugh the office is trying to help but i feel like no one care cause its not them...had i know this...we wouldve NEVER MOVED HERE....I ONLY GAVE TQO STARS CAUSE THE MANAGER IS NICE...

Worst experience ever in trying to get an appointment. So long story shor my roomate got denied so of corse so did i. Was told o would recieve a refund of the deposit that i had put down an said that i could take up to 5-7 businessdays to recieve it. Well at the time didnt have a a mailing address an aaked if it could be delivered to the office an i pick it up sure no problem. It took them over a month an a half to get the refund check. By then my roomate had gotten a job out of town an no longer lives on Tx So when i got to pick up the check it has both of our names on it but Im the one who paid the deposit. So i have a check that i cant get caahed an the management there is so unprofessional that she told me that bc we both applied for the apartment that there is anything she can do. Ive tryed calling the corporate office they dont answer nor call you back.

I been living here since may 2015.the front office lady (catherin) is very niave on how to run an apartment complex.This place is by far the worst apartment complex Ive lived in! Number 1 its under new management and their customer service is terrible. They claim to be renovating the apartments but what they are actually doing is just painting over the cabinets thats already been there. The paint job in the apartments are terrible. For the most part the best thing about this apartment is the sink in the bathroom. I loved this place when it was desert shadows. The bad thing about it Is that the apartment complex is in a great location.And as I write this review (our) meaning the complex, hot water is down and it wont be able to get fixed till Monday and its Saturday. Maintenance men are very 2 faced. I had a hole in my bathroo celling for 2 days due to a neighbor bath tub leaking n all they did was put a trash bag in the hole. I could literally see my upstairs neighbor bathtub as I took a shower. I asked them for some sort of compromise bcuz of the electricity lost from my A/C running,their compromise was to terminate my lease w/o any penalty!! Do not move here!! Im pay in 755 for 584sq foot. Very small space Big price tag.

The leasing agents at 5fifty are not professional. The person at the front desk often gives misinformation and she lacks customer service. She is very dismissive and rude. I was a resident for over a year and I couldnt get basic information from her about my utility bill.This apartment complex 5fifty also has a roach problem and the buildings are extremely old.They never complete service requestsIf you are looking for a new place to live, I strongly recommend that you choose a different location.

Gym not open after hours. Dumpsters are picked up at 3 in the morning on a school day and wakes me and my daughter up every time. No upgrades yet pay for a lot of money.

This place sucks under new management! The guy used to work for Brandon Oaks, and ruined that place as well! He tried weeks ago to build car ports....like 3 times and failed! He is a abject Moron!

Not the property I once knew.I’ve been a resident since 2018 and have never had an issue with the prior management(Clear Property Management). This property isn’t the crown jewel of San Antonio but it was kept up with and issues were immediately addressed and taken care of by prior management and staff.The new property management (Trinity Multifamily) took over July 2021 and it has been a NIGHTMARE since day one!I’ve gone back and fourth to resolve my transfer/ lease that wasn’t fixed until 2 months after moving, had to reverse fees for proof of CPS energy and renters insurance that I did have, had closed maintenance request that were never fixed, having a pool that was septic from July until September and now currently dealing with undisclosed or a provided notice of fees for a washer/ dryer included in my lease with prior management that are now added with new management backtracking to when they took over in July.I am to the point where I despise calling this place home.

Excellent place to live, the only downside is that they change a lot of staff, but I have not had any problem with that,
