I lived here for two years and am only moving due to a job change. I had only positive experiences with the staff. My apartment was freshly painted when I moved in and the carpet seemed brand new as well. Any issues I had were taken care of quickly. The community is generally quiet and I always felt safe. The complex does a great job of keeping up with the landscaping and the trails around the complex are well taken care of.
Ive enjoyed 10 years at Mill Pond Village. Management is always making improvements or doing major maintenance of the buildings, parking lots, grounds, and amenities. There are two pools, tennis courts, exercise center, walking trail, spaces for festive events. The community is well lit at night for safety and security. The staff is very friendly and listens carefully to the needs of residents. Excellent value.
Great apartment homes. Fair price, good amenities, great maintenance team, easy to work with. Had some struggles with getting the paperwork filled out because moving from out of state and they made it easy.
A truly great place to live. Staff was amazing and quickly remedied any issues. Amenities are fabulous.
My time at Mill Pond has been great! It feels like home. It’s a nice little community surrounded by a lot of trees. The indoor and outdoor pools are fantastic amenities. The balconies for the 1 bedroom apartments are huge! Price is relatively cheap compared to other spots, but it doesn’t look or feel cheap at all. Good quality overall. Management is timely in responses such as emails and phone calls, but maintenance is a bit slow getting to your issue. Not that I’ve had many issues. But COVID has slowed a lot of those things down everywhere.
They refuse to answer the phones and when you have a maintenance issue good luck. Plus they have mold so bad with the toilets and bathrooms yet they don’t care. Your tub, toilet and sink will be covered with mold within 3 weeks. Not only that but we get charged (40) for paying right away by card. I guess we should pay by check the last day so they can wait to process it and not have to pay an extra charge anymore. Cannot wait to move out of here.
Mill Pond Village in Salisbury MD is a great place to live. The office team is responsive and the grounds are well maintained. There is a fitness center, and an indoor and outdoor pool. The apartments light and airy and include a washer and dryer and garbage disposal. I recommend Mill Pond Village if you are looking for a new place to call home.
I have lived at Mill Pond Village Apartment for 7 years, so far. I absolutely love this community! The management team and the maintenance team are outstanding, both kind and professional. I am constantly looking for a bigger place but, when I weigh my features here, including the school district, I always come to the same decision... to stay put.
Just signed for 2 more years. peaceful and convenient
Nice apartments.. Loved the gym! DEFINITELY needs speed bumps. But great place. 💙
I tried to give this place a positive rating due to my fiance having a wonderful beginning to his new place. However he has had more and more issues with the place. There have been numerous problems with the apartment and various charges that made his rent go from less then $1100 to now over $1200 for fees that where not put in his lease. This place looks wonderful but has alot of hidden issues. Its very unfortunate because its such a beautiful and quiet place. But these hidden issues out weigh all the good in this neighborhood.
I witness something truly extraordinary just this past week. I was meeting a neighbor for the first time and that neighbor became ill right before my eyes and passed out in my arms I called 911 but I also called out for help in front of a building and in front of the swimming pool. Neighbors came from everywhere to include the maintenance staff. Everyone offered to help. One neighbor lifted her completely off of my lap and placed her gently on the grass in the shade as we assess her condition to make sure she was breathing and she had a heartbeat. She is fine now and recovering. This is a family-oriented place to live. The staff is very friendly to include maintenance. I love it here and I will be here for the next two years. I would tell anyone to come here to live because this is the place I call home.
Mill Pond is a wonderful place to live! The units and grounds are beautifully maintained and there are a ton of amazing amenities. It is surrounded by beautiful nature and wildlife. The staff are very professional and courteous. I highly recommend it here!
Over priced slum... The older buildings are poorly maintained. The newer building are absolute slums. Bad plumbing, dangerous wiring issues, and extremely unhelpful management. Groundskeeping is constantly neglected, suggestions to deter geese have been ignored. They ignore most maintenance requests or continue to tell you it will be fixed as soon as possible but that never happens... but let an old lady get a few weeks behind in her rent and then see how quickly they can take action, to file eviction...
Nice apartments but cheap front doors. You can hear everyone inside the apartments before you even knock. Dont like washer and dryer in small kitchen. The kitchen only holds one person as it is. But they do have a nice pool, playground, picnic area, and tennis.
Very nice apts.
Wonderful feedback & timely service
Visited a friend. Nice apartments. Had never been inside one and never really drove through the development. I never knew it was such a big development!
We are not impressed with this apartment complex. We moved down here from NJ. Everything was really good for a few months. The pools are amazing and well kept. The dog park is small but enough to get the dogs out for a run. Winter was rough. They were in no hurry to plow. The entrance is inclined so a lot of people had a hard time getting in. Our washer broke it took forever to get a new one and the one we got was used and in just as bad of shape. Forward a few months to summer, the AC in our apartment didn’t work and just around that time our ceiling light blew out (3rd floor apartment 9ft ceilings we couldn’t change it). We tried for weeks to get someone to come check the AC. They told us it sounded like freon and they didn’t have any. That we had to wait until their shipment to get in. They weren’t willing to give us a window unit or even fans. The maintenance guy got so mad at us being upset he walked out of the apartment. So we had to go buy our own. So forward to move out time. We had to extend about a week and the website didn’t reflect a prorated price. So we tried for a week to call and get it settled. The office hours didn’t match our schedules. When he finally had time to go in to pay they refused him an itemized bill. We were overcharged and cannot prove it. So in shorter words: Maintenance is garbage, Office help is garbage: I would never live here or refer a friend.
My Dad just moved in on January 10, 2020. We have been here more than 20 days. He had to complete his own inspection. There was a missing door on the laundry room the dishwasher is literally hanging and is not attached to the wall, so when we open it it falls out. Also, none of the electrical sockets in the living room hold plugs so we cannot plug stuff in. Not to mention we have seen roaches and we are brand new tenants. We have voiced all our concerns and still NOTHING has been fixed and haven’t heard a word from the office...
I would NOT recommend living at Mill Pond Village, although it may seem tempting with the great amenities. Weve had so many issues since arriving in Jan 2020. Our washer and dryer were broken when we first arrived. The walls were stained when we moved in and we had to vacuum multiple times to get all the dirt out of the carpet. The second bedroom door doesnt click shut. Both bedrooms didnt have lights in them so we had to buy them ourself, and the master bedroom light doesnt work since the wiring is messed up. We had one of the maintenance men look at it (Feb 2020) and they said they would have an electrician come out and fix the issue, yet that hasnt happened (July 2020). Now that its summer we like to take our dog for walks on the trails however its hard to walk here since there is so much geese feces everywhere and our dog ends up stepping in it. We also havent had the amenities for most of the time we have been here because of Covid however when we asked the property manager about a reimbursement or partial reimbursement she was unwilling to help. We also havent had AC in the past three weeks, they fixed the issue by supplying us a small window unit that can barely cool down our master bedroom let alone the whole apartment. We live on the third floor and I work from home, and its 85 degrees in our apartment. The property manager is hard to get ahold of as we emailed her on July 6th 2020 with no email back, we called the office multiple times with no call back, then my partner had to go in the office to try to get ahold of her and she wasnt there. When we finally got a call back she was unwilling to help us with our situation. Please save your money and go to a better apartment complex because you will not get the service you deserve here.
I just was moving a family in but it seemed great...
A bit expensive but they have great amenities. 2 pools, a fitness room and wonderful areas to walk. Plus super close to mall and restaurants.
We moved in 8.18. The apartment is roomey, grounds are clean and well maintained. As a person with special needs, the staff accommodated my requests. The were all pleasant and very helpful. My daughter and I are very happy and highly recommend Mill Pond Village.
The maintenance staff is the best. Attentive, smart, kind. The management office is also staffed by wonderful people.Ive lived here for over 11 years, and highly recommend this apartment complex.
Spacious apartments. Beautiful country setting.
Untrained stuff, they said they will call me in couple days after I filled up application and I did not hear anything 5 days. I went there after 5 days they told me they need my social security card and again they told me that they will give me a call in couple days and again they didnt call me 5 days I went there again she asked me more income proof I just canceled it, I couldnt lose more time with them.
I live there for 2 years never have a problem, friendly staff, I like the neighborhood activities always care about tenants!! Highly recommended!!
Nice and quiet, clean. Good pool(indoor and outdoor!) Good staff and great maintenance. Dimpster/Dumpster kinda close to apartments=smelly. Lived on 3rd floor in 2 bedroom so we had the vaulted ceilings...kitchen area tiny.
I recently moved from Virginia to this apartments and I really loved it the staff and maintenance people are awesome always there to help you and take care of each and every concern and try there best to resolve.quite and clean to stay.i would personally like to thank racheal and maintenance staff for being so cooperative and helpful.
Long story. Had to go without a dryer for an entire month, manager acted like a I was crazy for asking for reduced rent because I had to call every single week for a month to get them to come fix it. Was charged nearly $500 upon move out. Poor business practices here. I enjoyed the pool and grounds. My rent went up when I renewed my lease which has never happened to me before at other places I’ve rented from. Not worth it.
Maintenance steals from the tenants.Maintenance has to enter each apartment twice a year for bug spraying, once to check fire alarms, then another time to check sprinklers, as well as random inceptions throughout the year. They give a window of somewhere within the next 11 days, and are unwilling to make an appointment for the tenant to be present. The maintenance crew stole from me during one of these events and the people in the office were quite rude to me when I complained. They were absolutely certain that their maintenance crew was all Saints. Honest Abe has nothing on the Mill Pond employees. Also, if youre uptight about your car, the sprinklers WILL spray your car frequently (they almost spray more water in the parking lots than the grass), and the water is extremely hard. I have permanent spots on my new car even after buffering with compound and polish.I came out one morning and a broken head was even spraying directly on some persons car the whole time.I moved out early, I will update with any shady security deposit practices when my lease is up.
Very nice apartments very friendly customer service
Its a very nice place. Animal friendly, very quiet, and nice manicured lawn
It is ok but I suspect they get their own people to give it 5 stars so I will balance it out. The apartments are ok and almost fairly priced. the pool and facilities are always clean. They take care of the grounds. Inside the apartments everything is aging and old. The trims, paint jobs and finishes are really poorly made. Appliances are old and had not been properly cleaned when we moved in. There are rust stains on and around stairs that lead up to the apartments. Not a single one of my work orders have been answered in the six months we have lived here and I have heard maintenance crew is understaffed and poorly paid. Garbage overflows on the weekends. Insulation is really good on the same floor but average between floors. We have not had issues with any of our neighbors. Apartments heat nicely. Carpets were filthy when we moved in and they claimed to have stanley steem-ed it but we had to rent out the rug doctor ourselves. So overall it is ok but sometimes frustrating. If you are from out of town and transitioning to a house it is a good way to save money and get to know the area. they are trying to lure in families with low deposits and quick applications but also not providing the maintenance services that families may need.
Great looking apartments.
Wonderful staff clean inviorment
Terri Wigglesworth is the best leasing liason I have ever had the pleasure to encounter in my fair share of renting. Extremely understanding and a joy to work with. Management is A+. Grounds are extremely well kept, best Ive experienced in Salisbury. Location is easily the best in Salisbury. Stones throw from the Salisbury Mall, however, it is not directly in your line of sight, community very much has a private feel to it. You are also in the heart of North Salisburys main strip of businesses with Barnes & Noble, Target, Walmart, Wawa, PetSmart, Best Buy, Home Depot, Lowes, and countless restaurants all close by. You never feel too busy or involved with the main roads nearby and are never left feeling far away from any place worth shopping/eating/visiting in the greater Salisbury Area. Walls are a touch thin, so be considerate, but its a small price to pay to live in the nicest complex in Salisbury. Never had one problem with any neighbors either, something Ive never been able to say about any other complex.5/5 Stars.
The apartment complex has recently gone down hill, from robbery, to the feeling of not being safe, play ground is like a prison yard, cant even take kids there, a shame
Awesome place to live in, love it.
God forbid something breaks in your apartment or stops working bc the maintenance team takes months to get to you about anything even emergencies or they’ll come and say it’s fix when it’s not to buy them more time to get it done.
Mill Pond Lane is nice place to live
Great place to live
