I dont know about all the negative reviews. My Last 2 years here have been fantastic ! Courtney and the whole crew here have treated us very nice. This is the second time being here. The first time we were here 9 years and loved it !!!!!!!!
Love living there. The apartments are roomy and nice. The office staff is great! No complaints
Courtney was awesome I just called to check a rental and she was so sweet and gave me useful Information about everything I love her and hope to meet her
I’ve been here for about 6 months and I can’t believe anyone would ever complain about this place. The staff are super friendly and the apartments are huge. They host free events that bring the community together multiple times a month and they recently added a dog park. I’ve had my share of apartments all around in Maryland and this is by far the best experience I’ve ever had!
Runaway Bay is a great place to live! We have been here for 2 months, and my daughter still says, it feels like were on vacation. As a property manager myself, I applaud management and staff for making this a fun, safe, community that is welcoming to all.
Runaway Bay is incredible. I didnt stay there long, but I wish I would have. In Salisbury, there are at least a dozen or so apartment complexes that at a glance all look pretty much the same. What sets Runaway Bay apart from the competitors is the office staff. They go above and beyond to address every concern and all with smiling faces. They also have these parties in the clubhouse every few months that are amazing. I cant remember the last time Ive had so much fun. Also, when my laptop died I was able to use their computers in the clubhouse while it was being repaired. If I ever default on my mortgage, I will be running back to runaway bay!
I have been in this area for at least 7 years. I use to live at Runaway Bay and it is interesting how the monster manager is still employed. I have had friends that have moved from there and they all say the same thing. These are people that paid their rent on time, Professionals. It just seems to baffle me how people that are shady and under handed not to mention HATEFUL go this far. No Habitat no need to reach out to me because clearly your problem still exists!
When I first moved in over a year ago I absolutely loved living here! Yes theres some issue with hearing through the walls but I deal with it because you cant sound proof an apt building. There was an awesome lady named miss Paula working in the office when I moved in and I honestly wish she never left! Since shes been gone the office has been on a downward spiral. The staff isnt as friendly unless youre one of their relatives or buddies. Theres no longer set hours on Saturday, they just show up when they want. As a tenant Im allowed to rent the clubhouse. I had a signed contract for set hours on May 14th to use it. However the staff later scheduled something else. I was then told less than 24 hours before my event that I could no longer use it despite my signed contract with date and time as well as payment in full having been rendered. Furthermore I was told if I wanted my clubhouse rental fee returned I could submit a letter in writing and they would CONSIDER returning it. So I had to cancel in less than 24 hours after having 30 guests who have rearranged their schedules to attend including a few who traveled from other states. Not to mention food that had been purchased and prepared. Its now been 33 days since this has happened. Ive contacted corporate several times and my issue still has not been addressed or resolved. Instead Ive been given attitude because I contacted corporate. A class on professionalism and honoring contracts is seriously in order.
Nice apartment staff not so nice. Negligence at its best. Happy to pay fee to terminate lease, moving on.
I CANT WAIT to move! Please talk to a current tenant before moving in!I have a nice apartment. Its decent sized, but frankly a little overpriced. They are great about coming out to do maintenance very quickly, and those maintenance guys are great. There used to be a very nice lady in the office. Sadly, she was let go for being too nice to the tenants. The new manager is exactly the opposite. There seems to be no desire to do the right thing in the office anymore. That attitude seems to come down directly from corporate. There was a substantial rent increase this last year. There are also now paid parking spaces. Rather than one parking permit per unit (used for the spaces in front of your building) they now sell spaces for $25 per month. The spaces are just another way to grab some cash. Countless cars have been towed, starting the first day the new special parking signs went up. No calls were made asking did you realize that you are parking in one of the new reserved spots? Just a call to the towing agency and a $150 bill.If you pay your rent on the 5th or before, youre good. If not, no matter whether its your first time being late or not, they file for eviction against you on the 6th. Why have a late fee if being late equals an automatic eviction filing? If pay-day falls on the 6th and you walk in to the office with your check for rent and the late fee, its too late. The floors are thin, and EVERY noise from your upstairs neighbors will be heard in your unit. That also goes for the stairs. Every step reverberates through your unit and shakes anything hanging on your walls. I am not exaggerating. Its bad.The windows are old and very leaky. In the winter, cold drafts will come into your unit from every wall, through every electrical outlet, and through the dryer vents. The heat runs a lot. I spend as much to heat this apartment as in my old townhouse that was 2x the size.I could go on... I really just cant say enough how much I hate coming home sometimes. Do yourself a favor, and look at other places in town first!
Im still waiting for them to change the stained old carpet in my apartment
