I wonder if the receptionist is part of the owner of this garbage service thats probably why not as pleasant as a regular secretary would.i agreed on the previous review, wish we could have a choice of different garbage service company but we are stuck
They are wonderful when you are paying your bill on time and following rules and guidelines given to them by the government for recycling as China is no longer accepting our recycling,certain things have simply been removed from recycle to garbage. They sent all customers a letter explaining this. It is family owned and operated. My family has used them since I was a child. Infact one of the drivers now was our driver then. They missed half of my garbage can in a dump and when I called they sent the driver right back to get it. Also, as far as being rude, never have we experienced that, tone may be short at times but it is a busy place. And these rules of recycling were given to all the garbage companies, so if you moved from one company to another they are still the same rules. Also you might think about checking your own tone with somebody, people react to others with the same tone. Perhaps you were being tonal and didnt realize it yourself.

This company doesnt even deserve 1 star!! The most rude, nasty, snotty women answering the phones no matter what the question may be. I am happy to no longer be forced to use this company for its service. This company needs to fire its snotty employees and hire ones that really need a job and provide good customer service. Makes me wonder if its only family that works at this company, otherwise if it wasnt we would be provided with good customer service.
I have had a lot of problems with them. Recycling not getting picked up. would not offer a small credit for the inconvenience. I mean we have a contract. I pay you then you pick up my recycling. Charged for plastic in recycling when there was none. No proof. They have a live camera dump feed with no recording. Charged for overfilled trash when it was my neighbors even though trash cans are numbered. Receptionist sounds super stressed out. I understand it is the companys fault for making all these mistakes. She just sounded rushed, stressed and hung up on me supper quick.
Rented a drop box 2 times in the month of july the box is huge and price is fair the only thing that will keep me from ever requesting service from this place is having to call again and have to hear from the receptionist yvonne she is the nasties representative her attitude is horrible all the reviews are negative because of her i hope the owner actually pays attention she should not be on the phones you are loosing customers
By far, the worst garbage company I have ever encountered. For example, a pizza box in the recycling container will get you a fine for it being contaminated. If the empty case of soda from Costco is plastic wrapped, they will fine you or just not even pick up your recycle bin. They make it so complicated in a manner just to add to your bill, it is beyond ridiculous.
They are crooks! Starts out set amount every two months. Then the extra charges. 15$ here 25$ there. They are taking advantage of the fact they are the ONLY trash service around. (For now) i told them i would be calling from a recorded line after agreeing to a set amount to find out they not only charged me for what they said they wouldnt but there where extra charges as well. Lets not forget this is the land of the free home of the brave. We do NOT need them. Like this if we should start are own garage service. Treat people with respect pick up ALL of the trash. We can do this!!

Biggest POS service, they will charge you contaminated fees just because they can get away with it. When you question them, they say the driver took photos, when asked to see the photos they dont have them. Ive even gone as far as not sitting my recycling out for 2 months and I still get hit with contaminated recycling. This company needs to be shut down. Thank god Im moving and they dont offer their crooked service where I am going.
Been getting charged contamination fees. I know for a fact I havent cross contaminated my recycling with garbage. Asked for proof and didnt get any. Now theyre not taking out my regular trash which is on fridays and todays Saturday! Just left my top open. If I could switch garbage services I would.
Let me start off my saying the receptionist at this place is the worst. She is so rude and always interrupts and does not let you finish. Obviously she is a problem as everyone has the same experience with her. Last week my recycle bin was not picked up because of having cups and cartons in the bin, this was a lie! I called the office, and I let them know I could take pictures and didnt have any of that. I took multiple pictures as they requested and they then were not sure what the driver was talking about, proof they are out to just fine people. The came the next day to pick it up. Well now apparently they say I had plastic bags at the VERY bottom of the container, REALLY?! Plastic bags have never been allowed in the recycle even before the changes. I do believe that they are targeting me since I spoke up they are upset that I took pictures and proved I did not have a contaminated bin. I encourage people to take pictures of your recycle bin before you leave it out to get picked up.Worse service and experience!
The bill and extra fees have gotten out of hand.I never know what Im doing wrong to get these fees added to my bill
This is easily the worst garbage service I have ever had in my life and I am in my 60s. If I could have a different company pick up my garbage I would. Its not right these poorly run businesses have a monopoly and we are forced to use them.
They really need more proof for all these stupid fees they keep adding. And YES SOMETIMES THE HOMELESS WALKING BY USE OUR TRASH BINS. HOW IS THAT OUR FAULT RESULTING IN CONTAMINATION FEES!? The system is ridiculous

Ive been getting charged every 2 weeks for contamination. I have just about had it with the lies and excuses. Ive followed all the instructions and still get charged. Receptionist is always very rude to me and acts as if I was a 5 year old to her. Stop with the pet names when addressing me. Its not cute. I dont appreciate it. It doesnt make you sound more nice or professional. Lets not forget how you all just sit around messing around while customers are inside the office. Is that anyway to act? No. I would never DARE act the way THOSE receptionists act when I am at work. Stop fooling around and actually get to doing what youre being paid for.There is days Ive watched the garbage because I was told people can always throw things when I wasnt watching. Yeah? Hows that when I keep eye on it until its gone? Second of all, how do they see plastic when they dont get out at all? Hmm?Extremely disappointed on how unprofessional you all have become this past months.I know for a fact it isnt just me. Just look at the rest of the reviews, and yes, I would rate no stars too if I so harshly could.It doesnt matter though. No matter what us, the people who give you profit say. Worst garbage company ever. Rude as hell when they call you. Apparently their driver “sees” plastic in my recycling bin and they just go ahead and charge me $15. I know there isn’t any. They don’t pick up my bins if somebody’sCar on the side of the road is too close to my bins. Every month it’s something different with this company. I’m going to be cancelling.
They should really start attaching picture evidence to my bill for all these contamination fees I keep getting. Like all the other reviews on here, I wish there was another service we could use besides these crooks.
Thank you Suburban, I wasnt feeling well and completely forgot about my garbage, when I heard the truck go by I realized it. I ran out and two other neighbors had forgotten their recycle also, I called and they came right back within minutes and got all three cans! Thank You Recycling guy, Your Awesome!
Receptionist is extremely rude! Especially when I was just asking for some basic info. Made me feel like somehow I was inconveniencing her. I wish I can change service.
Horrible customer service. receptionist was VERY rude and unclear, My pickup date is on Thursday’s and it constantly gets skipped and when you call to ask they say they are behind a day and then it won’t get picked up until next week. Has happened twice now. If I could give zero stars I would. Going to be taking my trash to dump myself from now on instead of giving these jokes my money
They are so nice, and work with you. Very respectful and nice. They are just always busy. It happens.
The worst Garbage Service, Costomer Service and the owner is a pathological liar. They will not pick your garage up, if the lid is open enough for the driver to see. With is about a 1/4 of an inch, and if you drink from glass you better make sure its only a small amount the glass bin is the small red tote. And that means ALL GLASS beer, pickles or wine. And they will not pick up your recycling bin if theres a plastic bag visible. And Ive saved over $120.00 in three months just by going to the dump myself....

Ran out of gas in the driveway. An employee helped me push my car to the side where it wouldnt get in the way, and i informed him that i was on my way to work and would come back on my lunch to get it with gas. I asked if it was safe and he said yes. By the time i got back ( literally a few hours later) the car had been towed. I hope to god they dont run there buisness like this, untrustworthy and not loyal to there word at all. Waiting to hear back from the owner and hopeully hes a bit more respectful then anyone ive came across so far.
Horrible customer service! Every time I have to call I get nothing but attitude!! Ive continuously had billing issues and now theyve charged my debit card when I didnt give permissions, called and she basically told me Im wrong and it isnt her fault! Extremely rude and unhelpful!

This is seriously the worst company, and they are okay with being horrible and rude to their customers because theres no competition in the area. I am so close to just canceling my service and just taking my trash to a dump, in fact I think im going to cancel my service because they are horrible. IF YOU WANT TO MOVE OR CREATE A TRASH SERVICE COMPANY TO THE SE SALEM AREA- YOU WILL MAKE A GREAT AMOUNT OF MONEY DOING SO, AND PUT THESE PEOPLE OUT OF BUISNESS because everyone in the area would like to change services. They treat you like trash, but they never manage to pick it up, or if they do you get an extra fee charged. If there is any kind of dispute, they will 100% blame the customer and never take responsibility. They will charge you $15 without notice or a warning for a plastic bag being in the trash. If something was left in your trash, they will tell you oh go loosen it up and provide a rediculous excuse. They are completely rude, and condescending, and always interupt you while youre speaking to defend themselves. If theres an issue, they say well you did you call and tell us? (yes I did) then they say well why didnt you keep trying? Oh so because your lazy employees cant tackle an issue or call a customer back, it is my duty to keep calling you? Instead they should own up to their mistakes and make things right with the customer. I could go on for days, but its just a trash service that lacks customer service skills. I called the office today and paid my bill and then asked the person in the office why my yard debris can was not picked up and she asked me what time did you put the can out? i said i put it out the night before. she put me on hold so she could ask the driver. When she returned she said the driver said when he went by my house that the green can and the blue can was not out. (A FLAT OUT LIE) After we hung up the phone i thought to myself how many houses dose this driver service a day 300,400,500 perhaps more and he remembers my house and what colored cans where out and what colored cans where not out. I call BS. Like i said the cans where out the night before my pick up day. With that being said i hate lairs and i will NOT give my money to lairs and will be canceling my service today.....I will give my money to the Marion county land fill and would recommended that every body else would to..
Its time to file a claim with the Federal Trade Commission on their fraudulent business practices - more claims from consumers, the more follow-up that will happen. Google the Federal Trade Commission and submit a claim online. - I received a call saying the driver found contaminated pizza boxes in my recycling two weeks ago. I argued this was impossible on two accounts: 1) I don’t order take out pizza boxes and 2) My blue cart was still full and sitting under my carport because I haven’t put it to the curb in over a month, much less two weeks ago! Obviously the driver wrote down the wrong cart number on his form and now I’m getting blamed and charged $15 for their mistake! Last year someone stole my garbage cart and I was the one charged $60+ to replace it. They told me “they usually show up eventually and when it did they would refund my account”. This place deserves less than one star. Their regional manager should be notified as to how they interact with customers. Disgraceful conduct.

Who ever answers the phone there is rude. You will get placed on hold as soon as they answer. I waited 7 mins to speak to the snot who answered my questions with an attitude.
The website is super basic, and just to set up automatic payment it was a huge hassle. I had to drive all the way out to their facility. That just is not convenient.
We have a rude driver that is messy, and they like to drive quick and pass us up sometimes 2 weeks in a row.
They raised their prices to have people leave a mess outside your home. Pathetic..
