I was interested in this complex until I called and inquired on any available units. Dean gave short one worded answered when I was inquiring then I sensed an attitude if I asked if utilities are included in the rent and if not is there a flat rate for utilities (which I think is a fair question to ask when renting an apartment ). The interest I once had is gone I wouldn’t rent from this place. Lack of customer service is terrible.

We had a problem with the hot water. DJ came out and changed out our valves. This still did not fix the problem. It turned out valves in upstairs apt also needed changing. We are grateful DJ and manager Inna for arranging to solve the problem. We now have hot water. We are very pleased with the response to our situation.

Once I request they send someone over to fix a broken outlet with GFI, I was contacted right away and the next day the issue was resolved. It was done very well and quick.

I have experince accounting problem which make me not trust them at all. The fountain has only work for about 3 weeks out of the 3 years I have lived here. I was told they will clean the second story windows and that never happen. To me they just want your rent and that is all.

I just want to say, I TRULY regret moving here...I dont know where to start, when I moved in, I was told from management that the whole APARTMENT was properly inspected and renewed.. ( paint job in each room, new cabinets, semi-new countertop, carpet clean and conditioned) this was far from the TRUTH. When I first saw the place it looked like they just made a quick clean up to make it look fresh.. Though the week I moved in THIS is what I saw more clearly:The walls were painted with a dull low cost paint that collects dirt fast. There was no gloss coating over walls of the apartment to protect the walls... The the carpets was stretched to make it seem as though it was new.. The carpets had several stains (red nail polish spot, dog and cat urine marks). including in the lower cabinet(in the kitchen) that was poorly just wash down and painted over and the linoleum in the bathroom. The blinds had stains on them.. The upper cabinets middle frames are loose. The hallway sink components were loose. The sliding closets in both rooms had to be adjusted within the first two weeks of moving in. To pay monthly for this apartment is surely not a great deal that is reasonable. I ask management did the previous tenant own a cat or a dog ..(because I develope a rash)I was informed no pets.. My neighbor across from me told me the lady who was there BEFORE me had a dog and a cat.. So there goes your dishonesty right there.. I had to have the carpet shampoo and deep conditioned(the carpet cleaner who clean the carpet informed me that the stain and marks were in fact from a dog and cat.I have the note he wrote along with the receipt of the cost of this cleaning). And lastly it seems the management is allowing anyone to move in the apartments now. constant smell of marijuana, liquor bottles on the ground, trash in places where it shouldnt be at all...Overall, not a good experience and choice of apartment to live in.All of what I said is documented with pictures upon the first week of moving in.

Can you believe they raised the rent in the middle of the pandemic when tenants are loosing jobs and there is the worse covid numbers? Nice going to the owners of this complex!

Pretty terrible service all around. The staff made fun of and laughed at my elderly mother when she called in about a broken unit, mocking her accent and practically harassing her. It would be a mistake to rent here.

Awful, just awful. When opening my closet for the first time, I found a massive constellation of spider webs with spiders all over. Besides the animal life, the outdated and rusty bathrooms and kitchen are a must-avoid.

I lived at Ardendale for a year and I loved it, wish I didnt have to go. It was nice, spacious, and quiet, yet still close to shops. Management was friendly and helpful. Even though the apartments are older, they are updated (mine had new carpet), plenty of storage, and unique features. Def would recommend this amazing apartment complex.

Place is very nice and enjoy the quiet. Managers and staff are very nice. Lived here for months and no problems and safe.😊Well now I have and issue with the ena the lady that works during the week. I dont know how to explain it but I dont like her and I told her about a bush behind my fence growing out of control. She said is it bother you while smacking her gum. Im sorry but thats a little rude and shes not very professional. She also said ill see what I can do about it still smacking her gum. If I see anyone it will be on the weekend. Im not going to deal with her anymore. This place is still 5 stars and love living here but Im done with her. Ill only talk to the person working on the weekend. Thanks for reading

Awful! Huge rent increases, rats, old and outdated gym equipment, and you have to pay water, sewer, gas, and heat in addition to rent and electricity. There are no individual meters so the cost is averaged between tenants based on some nebulous calculation of occupants per square foot. Ridiculous!

By far thee worst most expensive dump you could ever waste your money on. Do NOT spend your time, money or life in this place. Lets see, where do I begin....You pay for all utilities including water, sewer and garbage. You pay for a average amount of water. You get a rent increase every year hidden as a utility hike. Your water will get interrupted at least once a month for pipe maintenance since the piping was installed during the WWI. Your children will get rashes and be put on antibiotics from the bacterias in the dirt if you get the backyard. You pay for parking spots that are riddled with spiders, oh but they supposedly spray. If you have cable, youll have issues with the wiring which was also installed before President Lincoln took office. Your maintenance guy, the older one, will make you feel like youre a burden for having to DO HIS JOB! God forbid you have to do business in the office on the weekend. Their employee, if she shows up or keeps the office open during the posted hours, knows nothing and just knods her head in agreement with you no matter what. The AC system sounds like its going to take off from Sac Int airport. Not to mention the extremely out dated insulation which causes you to use your AC more then you should, unless you like to bake in your own skin. Dont get me started on the foot and a half long (from what I could dig up) rebar that my 2 year old tripped on in our backyard. Because apparently it makes more sense to bend it over back into the ground an inch deep than remove it. Since weve been here for over 2 years now, weve been locked out of the gate twice from inoperable conditions. So then they lock the gates open until Mr. Gate man can come fix it; leaving your gated community open to the crackhead street walkers and dumpster divers in the middle of the night. The management, is somewhat nice and welcoming but doesnt even look at you outside of the office or after hours. Thee best thing about this place was the awesome mail lady. Shes super sweet and very nice. Ow, if you want to do laundry, thats a gamble of who gets there first. Not to mention youll need a small personal loan to afford the out dated machines that register on the richter scale every time you operate them. And plan on staying with your clothes unless you want them put on dirty countertops or stolen by the awesome tenants that have been allowed in lately. Needless to say, look elsewhere unless you like throwing your money into the pockets of a slumlord! People are moving out left and right! Thank you for your time and good luck with your hunt! 😊

Avoid at all cost. People are moving out. Unit in our building have been vacant for months! Staff at the office are nice but the complex is old. Popcorn celing anyone?? You pay SMUD (electricity), Garbage, Laundry, Sewer, $15 for extra parking, $45 for a gate clicker, COLD water AND hot water!!! Where the hell did you hear of an apartment building charging you hot and cold water?? Every month theres a water disruption because of the pipes (old). The units doesnt have meter so they charge you an average per square foot and how many people are living in the complex. Youll spend tons of money from doing your laundry as the machines and dryers are pretty small, they are also old and not energy efficient therefor youll gonna need to do more loads. The gym is older than my grandma, equipments look like rust buckets! LoL!!! The gate is broken a lot of times and shady people go in and out, there are also some who wait for the gate to open and run in and rummage through the recycling!! Pretty expensive for an old place.
