Bent tree is apartments is great! It’s affordable and I really like there maintenance crew! Great guys, honest, caring, cool, honest and hardworking. The only thing that I don’t like is that u can literally hear anything through the walls. And there are a lot of Random people walking in and out these apartments at night.

The office staff are very helpful and excited to help us that live here. I am very happy here. The only negative I have to say is the price. Way over charged for a 1 bedroom. But thats not the office staff fault. I like it here.

I have been living at the Bent Tree Aparmtents, in the exact same apartment for 23 years. My children grew up here, its our home. The office staff is courteous and attentive to our needs. Maintenance issues are resolved in a timely manner. All staff are very professional, especially the community director Ms. Erica and chief of maintenance Ernesto. It is because of them that our apartment is not just our apartment but our home. Thank you Bent Tree Apartments!

The staffs are great I love the people in the office there very helpful respectful and kind I’ve never had a problem with them. Erica is wonderful and I appreciate them a lot.

They replaced the fridge and now we have wonderful cold food again.

Everyone is super sweet and kind. Anytime I have questions, yall get back to me so quickly. Everyone bus really respectful, and as a first time renter you have really helped me adjust to apartment life.

I am a new resident and have had such a good experience from start to finish. I love my new apartment and the staff was amazing, they have provided me with good service. I have seen some not so good reviews on this place but was told that things are always handled with care. I don’t believe half of what I read and decided to give this place a try. The lady at the front desk was helpful and gave me a clear understand of their policy when I applied. The office staff stayed in contact with me during my application, I felt very relieved during this stressful moving process and I recommend this place to anyone that is looking for a home and great staff.

Worst place Ive ever lived. Management does nothing about horrible neighbors have to constantly get the sac sheriffs involved. After at least 20 police visits over serious events the tenant still lives here and we still have to deal with the horrible person as a neighbor. My apartment was flooded by the upstairs neighbor, they cleaned my carpets the next day and called it good after water was running out of my electrical sockets and fire alarms. They even made me stay the night in my flooded apartment for the night. I now have mold growing in all windows from the moisture I can only imagine what the inside of my walls look like. My wall outside by the door leaks water and is rotting the front of my apartment. laundry is a joke Ive had my laundry stolen twice and theres nothing being done about it. Do Not Move Here.

If I could give them negative stars, I would. This is potentially the worst apartment complex you can get yourself involved in. To start off, Joanne, the lady in the main office is extremely racist and treats every black person in a rude and short manner. They also make you put down a security deposit of $100 after applying for an apartment, and that doesnt even secure your apartment. I put that money down and was ensured that I would get a particular unit. A week later I received a phone call and to our surprise, that unit was no longer available, but they can give us another unit, but it would be an additional $10 a month. I decided to back out of this apartment, and the security deposit was not refunded, which is questionably illegal. My FAVORITE part of this complex is that they tell you to set up utilities the day before signing your lease, so we did. Since I got caught up in a weird thing called a job I didnt have time to turn off electricity, so we were billed for the 10 days we left it on. SMUD told me that the charges would be minimal. So I expected maybe a $20 bill. To my surprise, the bill we got in the mail was nearly $50, and the electricity usage over those 10 days was higher than the previous tenants monthly usage. I have tried at least 5 times to call these LOVELY apartments to get them to explain the bill and to help me, but nobody will ever answer the main line, so youre redirected to another office, and they can do absolutely nothing but tell you the office staff will call you back and they never will. On top of all of these problems, this complex is overall just a mess. When I thought I was going to move into this apartment, they were going to give me the paperwork breaking down the move in charges. These idiots couldnt get it right and told us theyd get in contact with us the next day with the correct charges. Joanne, the biggest idiot in this office, said shed get in contact with my roommate the next day since I was going to be at work and couldnt take calls. She then calls me the next day and claims his phone number didnt work, so I gave her the same exact number my roommate gave her, and I told her I couldnt take any more calls since I am at a thing called a job, so she calls me again twice an hour later. Overpriced apartments, terrible staff and in an awful location. Youd be better off homeless than living in these apartments.

This place is a scam. They stole 250$ from me. My boyfriend applied over 2 weeks ago and told them he had a deadline, obviously they couldn’t make it so as a given we’d expect our holding deposit back right? NOPE. They said cuz they’ve been holding it for over 72 hours they weren’t returning it 😂. They approved him on Tuesday (way past his Saturday deadline) and Thursday morning it’s too late to return our holding deposit. Don’t give this place your money because they’re steal it and run. Smh.

Dear Chris M.You are absolutely right. I dont know if maintenance and the office staff is intentionally stupid or they went to school special to be like that. They dont know their behind from a hole in the ground. If they would do less socializing and less partying with the help they would actually get something done. When they have good people (such as Willie) they have jealousy within the ranks and have to figure out a way to fire good people and leave the riffraff behind. Enjoy your stay here, nobody else does.

I have only lived at Bent Tree for 8 months now. I went through a serious legal battle with my previous landlord, having to sue in court for something that I was legally entitled by my lease. I love the fact that Bent Tree recognizes & respects tenant rights under CA state law as I am a law student at Sacramento State so I know my rights & wont allow my rights to be dismissed. What I dont like is the rent is too high, some of the residents are dirty, throwing their trash outside the dumpsters and then there are other residents who show disrespect to their neighbors by playing their music too loud. People are ignorant but that is not the fault of the Bent Tree staff.

Do not move here they have roaches bad idea over priced, crack heads every where. Not only that the people in the office steals money that’s why they keep switching management, let’s not forget all the clothing I had stolen out the wash house, let’s not forget how the washer in dryers played me out of a lot of money. This place is awful in don’t care about nobody here Not only that they have BLACK MOLD GROWING OVER ALL THE WINDOWS IN THE APARTMENT. Turn away why u can

I do not understand what Will is talking about because, my husband and I had a wonderful experience with the staff at Bent Tree. They were responsive, professional and had really good knowledge of their units. I have submitted an application and will be moving in soon... Maybe you should try again Will??

My husband and I have lived at Bent Tree since June of 2014. Its a good starter apartment for people to move into. Anything we have had a problem with, we have been accommodated accordingly. No real complaints about the complex itself. Some of the tenants are shady, but its like that no matter where you live! Would recommend to others.

Ive had a really good experience with this complex. Love the staff. Small complaints with the dumpster area, its really close to my apt, and not kept very clean. The staff tries hard but some of the tenants are pigs. Would recommend these apts.

Set an appointment today at 1:00pm. Somehow the lady knew my name without asking my name. She emailed me confirming our 1pm appointment. Arrived at 1pm. The sign said shed be back at 1:45pm. Wasnt going to wait 45 minutes when I had a appointment at1pm.

I have lived here for 2 years. absolutely love it. the staff is super. grounds stay clean. problems get fixed within the hour. layout of apartment is perfect with the bedrooms being on both sides instead of next to each other. plenty of washers and dryers. love the wood floors in kitchen. and the decks are bigger than what ive seen for other places. the location is close to everything I need. I will be signing another lease for here.

I get off work early in the morning, and I see nothing but roaches running around outside, very disturbing. Lots of drug activity going on, lots of homeless people lurking around all times of the day and night. And also tow trucks piggy back into the complex and take cars that arnt in their designated spots, and charge you an arm to get your vehicle back dont really know why they do that because theres no parking. Please look at the reviews before you consider this place.

My mom recently moved out about a month ago, in the beginning everything was fine. Gradually, the management continuously had an attitude, and people made complaints about the smallest things. The day my mom put in a thirty day notice, she received a letter saying she would soon be evicted. The manager lied, and slapped false statements on her report. Now, its a struggle for my mom and her sick daughter to get a place of their own. These apartments are BULLshit. I advise anyone thinking of moving IN, to consider a better option. One day, theyll soon burn.

Been here almost 2 years and don’t really have any complaints except parking is hard to find

It is a very dangerous place to live. Everyone gets into fights, the cops and staff wont do anything about it. People who have kids are scared to be at their homes because they are scared of getting shot by the residents and it is overall and very dangerous place to live.

The management keeps changing the way we have to pay rent. when I moved in i signed contract to have my rent on autopay. since this summer they switched autopay 2 times. i cant pay rent because the site wont submit my payment. regardless of the fact that they said the put a letter on my door and sent me an email telling about the change... which i never recieved. im tired of the unnecessary stress... sure if i pay rent on 5th and get charged $75 but im not be able to pay rent online... i get to take time off work to go in and resolve this! plus the 3 day pay or quits are always nice!

People are very nice apt are pretty big just need to clean the pool more often

The people in the office are very nice we had no problems at all.

Awful. They charge residents for standard repair services (they have to call a plumber because maintenance crew does not know how to use a plumbing snake), they do yearly inspections and give a date range (sometime this week we will be in to inspect), which means you have to have someone home all week, cant go to work or they will just come in using their key when you are not home). I do not recommend this apartment complex. Drug use and sales are done in plane sight and management approves (their is no penalty). Hate living here.

Heater/air conditioner stopped working

Bad customers service when I spoke to the management of this apt it looks like she doesnt care about the apt she just there sitting on the chair to get paid for nothing at least paid someone the wants to respectful and nice customers service

I live in the complex ......theres roaches in my unit...now since my lease is up they are adding fees yet since I moved in no changes been done is ok im only a youngman but they can not handle business these people take advantage of other im goibg to continue my contracts nd save myself from having an eviction .....get these they just add feees as they plase no worries ....think twice

The Homeless are taking over your outside areas, doesnt look like a safe place to be at. Especially at Butterball Way. Your walk in gate is constantly left open.
