Very professional company with great communication. The agent was incredibly helpful and had the estimate of weight almost perfect. On time the day they picked up and worked carefully and efficiently. They helped with storage and when I was ready,, the move in went smoothly..nice people and easy to work with. Everything was done well. Highly recommend this company!

We were very pleased with our move with Berger from start to finish. David estimated our home fairly and was an absolute pro. Brian, Ron and the team on move day were swift, safe and a pleasure to chat with as we navigated the move out of the old and into the new. Dont work with Berger unless you want to be disrespected, lied to, and charged bogus rescheduling fees. Drivers will lie to you about when they arrive, just to force you to reschedule your delivery and pay a fee. I hope manager Kristina Holcomb knows how her drivers treat their clients, and that they are costing them business.

Delivery crew lied that they had been waiting over 15 mins when they had only been waiting 7 mins before i was able to come outside. They told me I would have to reschedule because I didnt answer the phone. Kind of a funny excuse to give to someone that youre literally talking to in person. They proceeded to waste 10 mins sitting in their truck before driving off without delivering our furniture.

Our delivery time was well communicated. Drivers arrived within FOUR minutes of the expected arrival time. Amazing. The delivery people were courteous, caring and conscientious. I was amazed at how cheerful they were and ever so careful with my new furniture!!! A great experience at every turn.

Delivery team delivered a cabinet to my place and because of having poor sell service in this area they were unable to reach meThey were not able to drive to the house because there truck was to bog to get to itSo after not being able to reach me by phone they decided to make the delivery anyway and carried the cabinet back to my houseThis is a minimum of a quarter mile back through the woods and through a fresh snow fall. I don’t remember when i ever heard of service like this. I have been telling all my friends and coworkers about the incident and no one can believe they went to such frat lengths to make this delivery. We moved states, had all our items packed by Berger, transported and stored for a month. First, the ladies that packed our old house were amazing! They definitely know what they are doing. Nothing, including stemware was broken upon unpacking. The guys who moved our items into the truck did put a minor dent in the stairwell. This was handled right away and fixed before the new buyer moved in. We ended up needing to store our items for a month. Ann was so responsive and helpful throughout the entire process. She was also pleasant and professional. She definitely calmed my nerves that came with a big move. The truck showed up as scheduled at our new home. The guys moving our items were great and very careful. We are missing one item (I haven’t filed a claim yet) but know they will take care of me and make it right! I will definitely use them if we move again.

Berger moved us from our apartment in Costa Mesa, California to our new home in Golden Valley Minnesota. Both moving teams were professional, caring, and efficient. Berger misrepresented how they would load items, their load team lead marked EVERYTHING with scratches all over even though there was no damage, we had a lot of damaged items and our transfer delivery was delayed 3 days despite providing 6 weeks notice on our transfer date and receiving confirmation for the dates. At no time during the 6 weeks did anyone tell us they were having scheduling issues or that we might not make our set dates. The local transfer company that received our out-of-state transfer said Berger didnt contact their company until right before our set arrival date. The local company did their best to fit us in as early as possible, even though it was late in the big picture. We also did not recover the added apartment rental costs related to the delay in transfer. We received apologies but no offer to work with us. We will avoid working with Berger and Allied in the future. Be sure to read my Yelp review for more details on what went wrong. BTW, the packing crew was awesome! They packed and marked all items very well.

Allied was referred to us by a family member and I have to say I am so happy we went with this company.,right from the get go I spoke with David Lorier he was so informative and helpful he answered my many questions and out my mind at ease . He then handed me off to Amie Pillen who was just as helpful and informative and patient with me . We moved my Mom from California to Minnesota and I have heard many horror stories about moves thanks to Allied I felt confident about our choice. The movers Jose, his wife and crew were right on time they worked so hard and were kind and respectful I cannot say enough about how nice it was to have them they are amazing,! They said they would arrive in MN. Between 8am and 8:30 again right on time Jose and Manual worked non-stop without. Help most of the day finally another worker arrived from Mn. I was glad so they could get some help . They put everything where we asked and then some .Amie checked in with us throughout to check how things were going which was very nice.I will be referring Allied to anyone who needs a moving company. Awful, awful customer service. Mike promised that Berger would be with us through our entire move. Well, they lost a box of ours containing some art work we really love. Made us file a claim with a subcontractor who never called or asked about the box. I got a couple of form-letter emails saying they made calls and can’t find our box. That’s it. They consider their responsibility to be over. How do they lose a box that was in their possession? Awful and unwilling to help you when you need it.

This is my second time using Berger, first when I moved from TX to CA, and then again most recently to move back to TX. Both moves were so hassle free for me. Michelle helped me with my most recent move. She was available throughout the entire process, and would respond within the hour. The dates of actual pick-up and drop-off were within my original quoted dates, and I wasn’t blindsided by any extra charges. I even had an issue with my TV, couldn’t find the screws for the movers to put the stand back together. Michelle made sure my order stayed opened until the screws were found and the stand was put together. I recommend them to anyone looking to move. I will definitely use them again for any future moves.

WE are so pleased we found Berger Transfer. We made a cross country move from Colorado to Minnesota. We used a POD for our stuff and it delivered to Bergers warehouse. They unloaded the POD content snd loaded up their truck. They then moved all those items into our apartment.Nothing was damaged. All time commitments were met. The service was friendly and professional. Ya cant beat that!

Fernando moved me from Atlanta to Phoenix. One of the highest compliments a person can get is that theyve mastered their craft, and Fernando is a master. He was super friendly, efficient, knowledgeable, and creative. He hustled, and added a level of confidence to my move I didnt have before - which is important, because he basically has everything I own. Also found the pricing to be very reasonable.I was way over our estimated weight, but they didnt gouge me or put in hidden fees.

Was supposed to have cabinets delivered on the 21st between 9am - 1pm. They never showed up and no one called to reschedule or offer a reason as to why there was no delivery. Tried calling multiple different staff with no answer. Finally got ahold of someone the following day after leaving multiple voicemails. Two different people had varying stories about why our delivery didnt come. No one seemed to know who rescheduled it. Was told they could reschedule for a couple days out, told them we were supposed to install this weekend and that we needed it ASAP. Shannon said she would speak to her boss who came in at noon and call me back. Never called back and hasnt returned any of my calls to confirm that Saturday will work for delivery. Very unprofessional service, no one seems to answer their phones, and management is lacking. Do not recommend their services and will be writing to the cabinet company that uses them.

This was our first long distance move ever, and we wanted to go with a long established and trusted mover. We contacted Berger Allied Van Lines and the whole process was exceptional. We arranged to have our furniture and possessions loaded and also arranged to have my husband’s car shipped as well. From first contact with the company we received timely updates and follow up calls on how it went. The two men that did our load and unload were incredible, they were efficient and friendly and fast and careful. They had their hands full with our stuff, we had a huge, heavy load and they handled it with no problem. On the delivery date they were prompt, efficient, friendly and professional and I wouldn’t hesitate for a second to have them work for us again and I heartily recommend them. Moving from one city to another is always a difficult experience. There are many, many details to be dealt with - change bank accounts, change addresses on multiple service providers, find new doctors, pharmacies, etc., etc. For all of these details the person moving must usually deal with a service representative of some kind. Unfortunately, service from most of these individuals is less that satisfactory. Berger was the exception. Service was outstanding. Every phone call was returned promptly (most of the time no return call was necessary as the phone was answered by the needed individual), exact information was given, everyone showed up on time as scheduled, communication was outstanding, actual move was handled professionally with no damage to household contents. I can honestly say that the service received from Berger was the best I have had from any provider over the past many years! Weldon Tisdale

All in all we were very satisfied. Pricing was comparable to other movers. We had a few pieces that had some small chips and scratches. Filing a claim was easy and the fellow who came out did so very promptly and did an excellent job with making the repairs. If needed, we would use them again.

Very nice place its weird at first if you dont know where to back in but Ive been here already so its very easy pretty cool go here that is a low butt tights but thats what makes the job more fun do I have a little bit of a challenge so dont be scared to ask where you need to back into keep in mind that you dont want to hit any cars or buildings so make sure you are aware of your surroundings if you are not sure stop go out and check to be sure you are not hitting anything

If I could give a 0, I would. Got a few quotes for my move, and this one was $hundreds more expensive. Berger Allied sent David L to do my esrimate, so I called David to try and understand why theyre so much higher than their competition, but he was extremely rude, got angry, and hung up on me!! Unbelievable..so unprofessional. And after a week of back and forth calls. When anyone asks me about moving, my only answer will be: go with anyone except this place..stay away Who hangs up on their customers for asking questions?? I dont give negative reviews, but I cant let this one slide. David, I hope you had some time to cool off, and you talk with management about how to speak to your customers.

The truck driver and mover were great! Moved everything with care and nothing was missing or broken. Everyone was friendly from the estimator to the truck driver.What I didn’t like was the billing portion of the move. I am a person who pays a lot of attention to detail. I paid attention to the numbers on the “estimate” and “bill of lading”. I even went so far as to show up for the weigh in before and after since the end bill is actuals. First of all, I did not get a bill of lading that was filled out. Questioned that and I was told there’s a separate sheet with itemized line items. I should have a filled out bill of lading. What’s that for if it’s not filled out and if it was filled out I wouldn’t have to ask for the itemized line item. Plus, I only got the itemized line item document after I asked for it. Second, the numbers on the itemized line item document was off. The difference on my estimate document and actuals is weight. There was almost 900 lbs difference from the estimate and actual. Meaning I had 900 lbs less. Nothing else was changed. Yet how was it that my actual transportation line item cost more than my transportation line item on my estimate. They applied a discount in the actual but after raising the price. The “discount” should be applied after the price difference of my actual weight and not after. Plus, the discount wasn’t for the weight difference. Third, I asked how many days they charged me for storage. They said they billed me for X number of days and those days were off because it wasn’t in there for that many. I questioned that part of the bill too. In the end, I told them to review the bill and I want my refund because it was clear that they overcharged me. After reviewing the bill, they said they will refund me $8 for the difference in storage days. So they didn’t see anything else wrong with the bill; particularly with the transportation line item. I do also want to point out that during the estimate the daily storage charge was $6 or so and there’s a difference of about 900 lbs less in the actuals compared to estimate. I don’t remember exactly how many days it was actually in storage but it was more than 1-2 days so why am I only getting back $8 on top of the difference in the transportation line item.I’m not trying to be cheap. However, I do want to pay for what I owe and nothing more. I saved money by throwing some stuff away and coming in about 900 lbs less in the actuals compared to the estimate. They moved my stuff great, but I don’t trust their billing process. Especially since they don’t fill out the bill of lading completely. Why are customers required to sign an incomplete bill of lading? That’s ridiculous.
