I have been coming to this barber shop for a few years. I’ve had Lauren H cutting my hair for a few years. She is always on time and professional. All the girls there say hi as soon as you walk into the door and ask if you want a drink during the wait. It’s a very comfortable and laid back atmosphere.

I am always satisfied with the service here. I regularly choose Lauren and shes terrific. She always does a stellar job and has a great personality. I always look forward to my monthly haircut at this salon.

Lauren has always been very professional!! She is always pleasant and always has a smile on her face. Always ask me how I am doing and what has been going on. She always ask what we are doing and discuss the hair cut first. When the hair cut is finish she ask me how it is. When she is cutting my hair we have conversation about many things.

Well, when the lobby is nearly full and two of the ladies are out riding around in a clients Tesla while their next appointments wait on them, it doesn’t scream of professionalism. When that is compounded by a rushed haircut with little attention to detail, it becomes a bit more difficult to be patient with you being short staffed.Though I think what irritated me most was the following. When I sat down, I mentioned that I had cowlicks that were difficult to deal with. The person cutting my hair seemed to brush off the statement saying “oh I’ve seen worse, I’ve got this”. Upon completion of my haircut she noticed the cowlick sticking up (because she obviously didn’t think it through) and said “oh well you can kind of spike up your hair and it won’t really be a big deal”.

I’ve never been to hair mechanix before. But After dealing with Lauren Hatcher I can honestly say I will definitely be back. She was very professional friendly and did an amazing job

Just had a great experience with Jessica. I wanted my first undercut but wasnt sure how to describe exactly what I wanted. Jessica confidently guided me through my choices every step of the way, making sure I was 100% happy and comfortable. The finished cut was perfect!

My boyfriend loves how shes cut his hair, other places weve went dont seem to blend his longer hair, its perfect!!!!! Everyone here was so nice!

Great place, needed a new haircut place when I got transfered from Sterling Heights to Warren. I was about 45 days overdue for a cut. Jenn did a great job cleaning me up. Only reason I wouldnt give 5 stars is its a little pricy compared to where I was going!

It was one of my best experiences getting a cut even during the pandemic, staff was professional and very kind. Immediately after entering I was offered a beverage and was being serviced momentarily after. I will definitely be coming back in the future for any hair needs my service from Jessica Ann was perfect and I couldn’t ask for better company during the cut lol

A good barbor shop is seems to be hard to find depending on your area. I havent have a straight blade fade in too long. The barbors are professionals and super nice i love this place and wish they had one closer to home.

Horrible lady barber didnt listen at all wrong guard. My hair looks bad. I have a face shave but no hot towel treatment and basically a Norelco instead of a straight edge like described on their website. Will not be back.

I have been to many different places in my past... and left because I did not feel welcomed. This place is very welcoming! Ive had a couple different ladies cut my hair and they all were pretty great! My fav is Jessica Ann because even when you get that awkward silence between topics of discussion... she starts singing or talking about whatever she wants... making any person feel at ease. Best part... she remembers where we left off in conversation the last time you were there... very personable!

Great haircut. I am very fussy about my hair since it is the last asset that I have..lol. Jessica is an artist! She is very personable and pays attention to the wants of her clients. No wait today at all. Masks are worn by all. If you want a great hair cut (dont forget the scalp massage too), this is the place to go. Ask for Jessica, she is fantastic!

Went here for the first time, atmosphere was nice. They even have TVs at each station for those awkward people who do not like to talk. Fortunately Jessica was my stylist and was very good at making me feel comfortable. Amazing attitude and better hair! Also super cute. Will definitely Be back for another cut and good conversation.

Very nice atmosphere and they even offer you a beer. I like that they actually shave the back of your neck. They even do ear and nose waxing, which I use the former a few times and all their prices are pretty reasonable.The haircuts with the first stylist, who I used 3 or 4 times was very good and consistent; then she quit. The next stylists first haircut was really good. She even made notes in the computer so she could duplicate it next time. Then next haircut she started right off taking the sides very short. Of course it was too late to stop over after the first buzz with the clippers. I used her again a couple more times and the haircut was okay but she couldnt seem to duplicate the first haircut. Then I used another stylist a few times. The first haircut good but still not consistent the next two times.Overall, not a bad place. If youre not that fussy with your hair, or dont really have all that much, Im sure youre probably be satisfied. I ended up going back to my old stylist who Id been using for years. Its just she was taking so much time off for personal reasons that I went somewhere else.

I used to go to lady Janes. That place was like going to great clips compared to HMX. Typically get a new lady every time and still never disappoints. My most recent was Jessica, she gets 5* herself.

My stylist, Lauren, was great. She did great with my hair and at one point I thought she asked me if I farted, which broke the ice and made both of laugh!

I go there to see Jessica. She is very good. The staff is friendly and very professional. You are even offered something to drink while waiting, pop, water. The prices are very reasonable as well. It definitely is built with men in mind. All around, a very cool place.

Unacceptable! My husbands face is cut multiple times in the same area. Razor burned on his neck. Then she applied shaving cream and powder to stop the bleeding. Didnt cut his hair the way he asked for. And most definitely did NOT receive the services paid for. No return business here. Enjoy the $6 tip you didnt deserve.
