It says free parking but got a ticket for parking sooo where exactly are we suppose to park.

Good for temporary residency, if you get one of the apartments.

Building is kinda cool, historic. Was visiting a friend, and I had to leave at 10p bc they couldnt have visitors after 10. Kinda weird. Room was small, but seemed clean.

Arrived here on 24 Feb. 2017.My Apt. Is very clean and furnished.Have not seen any type of bugs except the occasional hornet/wasp/fly which come in when I had my window open prior to buying a window screen.Had no problems with other tenants.The staff are helpful and respectful.There is the Mandalay Bar on the 1st floor.Not been in the Mandalay Bar. It is very quiet.I have enjoyed my stay at the Lafayette Hotel.

This hotel is home to a lot of people in Rockford Illinois. The management has been fair to most renters and is by far one of the better places to help transition people into more permanent housing. While I would not consider this day to day for lodging it works well week to week and month to month.

I wouldnt even give this place 1 star! Way too expensive for this disgusting roach filled place, drug infested. The smell of mildew and smoke was overpowering. The cleanliness was nil.

This hotel was disgusting! The rooms are from the 70s and it smells old and rotten. I couldnt even tell you when the last time the sheets were washed. The only heat was from a fireplace that you had to keep lit on your own. We walked in and walked right back out. They wouldnt even give us a refund!

Noisy full of drunks, prostitues and drug addicts .pay more to ensure safety for your family. .I live here and you couldnt pay mě to stay there

The room I stayed in had bed bugs in the bed they were everywhere do not get a room in this hotel unless u wash ur clothes before u leave the bed bugs are serious they bit me and were all over my pillow. The room upstairs had a crazy person in it with a barking dog alarm that he played with constantly and the noise was very irritating and the workers did nothing when I called to complain about it the loud noise they was very unprofessional. The toilet overflowed when I flushed it the tub needed updated the room needed updated dont rent here unless you dont care about taking bed bugs with you when you leave. I swear to god this place is completely infested with bed bugs.

Some of the staff are kind of rude and its an old hotel a lot of fixed income people stay here I have seen no pest in my room and the man keeps her room clean
