Worst renting experience of my life. Home was infested with cockroaches and pests and hot water did not work during the day. Called multiple times to fix these problems and none of the problems got fixed. They sent someone but the problems still remained. Roof had holes in it and the rain leaked into the apartment, and the leak and mold that grew didnt get fixed for weeks. Area was very very loud, motorcycles and cars at 1am would wake you up. Please do not rent from these people. Would give negative stars if I could.

This Company owns Heather Glen Apartments do not rent them because the neighbors vandalism cars your home and such more things. They also rent the apartments dirty and the apartments have bed buges. This is actually real they just rent for the money they dont care.Don^t spend your money with companies they don^t care you any the money.

These people are fantastic! Very easy to work with and very quick to respond to maintenance issues. Wonderful properties too. Dont hesitate to lease from them. They are in the business of housing Rockford residents and they are easily the best company Ive leased from.

Becky has been so amazing as to helping us out making payments each week so that we can still have a home for our kids but yet still pay them each month. It’s been a real blessing to have a company so willing to help and work with us. For those that have said they don’t care. That’s bull because they are working with us so we can keep our home. Extremely discriminatory!!!! i was told i could put a deposit on a place to rent.. Then when i came to the office with money order in hand, Fran Tomlinson wouldnt allow me to even fill out an application.. Then when i asked for a supervisor or manager i was told i wouldnt be able to she was the highest ranking employee available and i would be denied anyway.. If i get denied thats understandable.. but it is discriminatory and also illegal to tell me i cant even fill out an application and see...

Money hungry and quick to evict. The apartments/houses they have are not good at all

This company is the worst place you could ever rent from I had to call multiple times for then to fix anything when we went to see the apartment it was nice but after we moved in thats when everything started coming out mice,bed bugs, and roaches that place was so bad I lost everything and on top of it I had to bring my newborn son back home to this because they refuse to let me move to another house unless I payed a $300 fee plus 1st months rent and another deposit I also couldnt break the lease or they where going to take me to court and put an eviction on us DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT RENT FROM THIS PLACE we have moved out after finishing our lease agreement and they still call and email us to harass us.

I dont know who paid these people off to say something nice about homes now but they are nothing but slum landlords that dont care about the cleanliness of their rental properties.

They have been some really understanding people and I love my apt ☺️☺️

Were almost at 7 years with HOMES NOW. We stay with them because they are kind and helpful in all situations. We have even moved from an apartment into a home through them. We havent had any issues with staff. I can say maintenance isnt my favorite. But thats just my opinion, as some times things arent fixed to my standards. But technically they are fixed. 👍As with any business theres off days, but Ive never had a problem or issue go unresolved. I always refer quality tenants to homes now. I think if you give the team and property your best, youll get the same from them.Thanks guys!

My experience with this place started out great. Until they moved me out of my roach free apartment into a roach infested building. The tenants are nasty and Homes Now is aware this. I have been in this apartment almost a year the exterminator comes and I still have roaches. The icing on the cake wasmy last phone conversation with Becky ending with her telling me its not there problem the other tenants are creating the roaches because a exterminator comes out. Do not work with Becky youll have better results. She really doesnt care its all a front for the business. To start I really really thought I would be with them for a long time but after this experience Im done. You guys have just lost a great tenant Because of yall roaches and Becky. Please be lucky I cant post pictures and videos because this roach motel Im in is no joke.

Ive been a tenant with HOMES NOW for my second 2 yr lease. Becky, Angel, Lou & staff are a great group of people. Its been a great 3 yrs at my place. Due to personal issues in my family, Ive had to relinquish my apt. I have referred many people to go to HOMES NOW & apply. Theyre trustworthy. If I need to find property elsewhere? Im contacting HOMES NOW. Theyll get you what youre looking for or come super close to it. Thank you HOMES NOW for nearly 4 yrs now. Also, thank you for putting up with me & my dry humor, Becky 😉On a side note: I have a repair that needs to be completed. The guy is contracted thru HOMES NOW. He came in. Plumbing issue resolved. However, he stiffed HOMES NOW. Claimed the work order was finalized. He got paid. Then screwed HOMES NOW. Poor Becky was so embarrassed by this that she rectified the issue.

The staff there work really hard to help everyone they can. Ive seen them bend over backwards to try to help people from start to finish in the move in process and afterwards. Had several friends use them as well and nobody I know has had an issue. They all really care about the tenants and try to be as professional as possible. Highly recommended

There are cockroaches in the building, however, pest control does come and spray about once per month.Apparently locks are changed between tenants, but someone was getting into my apartment when I was not there back when I first moved in. 3 phone calls to the police later, Homes Now changed my locks again and I have had no problems since. They think I must have given a key to someone and do not accept the possibility that perhaps my locks never got changed. Since I never gave anyone a key, this is the only scenario that makes sense.Angel in the office is great :) Maintenance is really nice and on the ball. But other office members have been rude and hung up on me in the past.Overall its a cheap and okay place to live, but would not recommend if you can afford better.

Brandon the maintenance man is great! Like totally the best ever! Angel, Fran, Gus, Lou, and Becky are good too however Brandon is by far the best!!

DO NOT RENT FROM HOMES NOW! They only care about the money. They DNT come fix anything, trys to control who comes over your apartment that you pay rent for. They staff are very rude and maintenance is racists. They said there were no bugs but theres been huge roaches. When I tell them they say I might have brought them with me. They did not update anything in the apartment but the stove. The doors are so old they have cracks in them people can look through. They said they were going to fix the doors never came. WORST renting experience ever!

Poor service dont attend to tenant needs if there is a problem with there appt.

I would not recommend renting from them i was worned about them.They told me i couldnt have company i shoul go visit them. They took me to court fpr thos now i am homeless. They dont care about people welfare.

I would like to say that since Ive been with homesnow. They... Becky, and Angel have really been amazing. I honestly do not think that any other company would be as tolerant and patience. Ive lived in one of their apartments for three months going on four now, and have had several issues that have been falsely addressed by their maintenance men. The apartment was not cleaned prior to move-in, there was a huge cockroach problem that I had to address myself, mold in the oven, the walls are covered in a sticky substance throughout the kitchen, and a very problematic leak in the bathroom ceiling that has never been properly fixed... The only thing I like is that the apartment is affordable, however that doesnt really make up for any of the issues my roomate and I have faced since we moved in. Definitely will not be renewing my lease at this rate of poor management.

Great place to rent from Becky in staff are extremely kind and understanding and to me they deserve 5 Star Ratings across the board......

If i could have i would give them zero stars worst management company ever roaches every where and bedbugs in the unit they dont change locks and over charge for rent but say there low-income and there not. Worst company to rent from they try to mess with your intelligent

I called because a pipe burst inside my apartment and when i called they told me someone will be there very soon, i waited and nobody came so i called back after an hour and spoke to becky who was extreamly rude and then hung up on me. I dont recomend renting from homes now they only care about money.

DO NOT RENT FROM HOMES NOW.Had a 1 year lease for an apartment through homes now. Half way into my lease the neighbor backed his car into the apartment complex caving in my wall and damaging my tv.Took them a lil over two weeks to fix. I never received any compensation.Entire time was treated like i was a nuisance when it wasnt my fault. 10months in i miss my first rent payment because of unemployment.. Immediate eviction notice. Oh and theres $75 late fees.

Homes now has been a blessing from God, I have rented and seen how other landlords tend to their properties here in Rockford and it does not compare to the exellent service homes now does provide, they actually do care about you

I have done business with homes now for a few years and can honestly say Lou and his staff go out of there way to make sure the properties are clean and ready to rent he holds the contractors to VERY high standards and is not afraid to spend the money to address the problem!!!

Home now was the most worst I have ever had to deal with 850 and all the utilities and we had to pay for repairs they offered help but showed none and they asked for more money to repair anything
