I made a review September 18th and it was removed. Lily who did my nails did a horrible job. I kept telling her as she was doing them she said she would fix it. My nails were way shorter than I wanted and they were all uneven and thick. I was in Rochester as a patient for the Mayo Clinic during my birthday and wanted to pamper myself. Had a pedicure also and it wasn’t what I expected for the price I paid! Why do you remove my review, I want people to know what they are really paying for. I paid $145 to leave in tears, I didn’t feel they respected what I wanted, I have had my nails done for years and this was the only time I was made to feel like I was crazy.

Kim was so nice, professional, and talented. She picked out my different blue hues for a fun weekend/holiday look. I’m really happy with how they turned out and will be coming back soon!

I do not regularly get pedicures. This place took great care of my pregnant friend with a full foot/leg massage, which I did not receive. It might have been because I had more calluses than her. Polish on both of us looks amazing. 4 stars for great service, took one star off for appearance of shop and inconsistent service, but not a deal breaker. Massage chairs are very awesome but the technician may ask you to turn it off during polish application.

My gel manicure and pedicure turned out great and Im very happy with it. Overall, the experience was nice and I could go back but wont. Unfortunately its just another bad-mouthing nail salon in Rochester. I wish I could enjoy the experience just like everyone else but I am unable to because I understand every insult the technicians say (in Vietnamese) about their customers. I shouldnt have to preface my appointment with, Im Vietnamese just so that they become more aware of their conversations amongst each other and for me to have a somewhat relaxing and mindless time.Even if 99% of your clientele cant understand the language, why would you speak unkindly about them when they come to support your business?

Anytime I get a manicure or pedicure the ladies always do an amazing job! All the ladies are friendly and welcoming. They go above and beyond to take care of my nails and make me feel beautiful too! I’ve tried other nail salons and never have the same experience- by far the best place to go to.

Scheduling an appointment is a waste of time, anyone who walks in ahead of your appointment will get a spot and you will likely have to wait well beyond your appointment time.They did a fairly good job but I didnt get what I scheduled my appointment for because they had so many walk ins that seemed like the priority.

I made an appointment for a set with Kim and brought a reference photo. She was so nice and did a great job with my nails!

Worst pedicure Ive ever had.

Went in to simply remove my acrylics because I had started a new job and was going to be doing a lot of typing- They seated me right away which was nice, but tried to get me to purchase more than just what I wanted. They wanted me to get a full new set but shorter, and yeah, I get it, try to up sell, but once I said no that should’ve been it. Don’t keep badgering me about it. Halfway through the lady removing my nails went to help another custom and brought up someone who had no idea what they were doing to continue. They must have been in training or something. The tool went over my skin so many times, but I hate being rude so so I just let her do her thing. Then the other lady comes back over to finish the job that could’ve been done by now if she’d have stayed and tries yet again to get me to purchase a full new set, to which I again laughed off and said no thank you. She finishes and takes me to the front and charges me double what the website says for nail removal.. which.. okay maybe the website has old prices 🤷🏼‍♀️ I don’t know. Then I get in the car and start picking at my nails and there are still big chunks of acrylics on them 🤦🏼‍♀️ Like, you had one job. I ended up having to finish the job at home because I don’t wanna cause problems and I definitely didn’t wanna be harassed and prodded again, my skin on the finger the trainee was doing from the tool slipping off was super red and agitated. I will not be returning

I got a pedicure and it was terrible. I waited forever for the girl to even start, and then I just felt like she was lazy and didn’t want to do it.. my sister got hers done and hers turned out amazing (but she had to wait 20 minutes after she was done for mine to be done) One foot got way more gel polish than the other so they don’t match and she also didn’t do a clear coat on top so I doubt they’ll last long.. so disappointed 😞

I walked in right at closing time and wasnt sure if they would do a pedicure. They did and Mary was great. She didnt rush through it and my toes look awesome!

Decent place. The woman that did my pedicure was nice and prompt and was very careful to make sure my toes looked good. However when I went to pay I mentioned their ad from their website to get a couple of dollars and the lady that helped me check out seemed crabby about it. I left a good tip as I usually do - understandably the work is likely not easy... perhaps dont have coupons on your website if it pisses you off to be losing that money and keep it normal price.

I always love going to Spa and Nails for pedicures! They are so welcoming and make you feel right at home. Best massages! Polish always lasts forever too. They always remember me when I come back too. I have been going here for years and always recommend it to anyone who asks.

Spa & Nails is the BEST! They never hurry, but take time to greet you, get you a drink,massage feet, legs, hands and arms. They are super warm and welcoming. This was the first place I’ve ever gone to where they had all my nails straight and perfect. The color turned out exactly how I wanted it. Don’t even consider going anywhere else!!!!

Kim runs an amazing salon and does incredible work! A true artist and perfect nails every time. I drive over an hour away every month because it is truly worth it. If you want to treat yourself check them out! I always let Kim pick the design and am delighted every time.

So my mom finally took me to her regular place this time. Its really a decent place and I wish I still live here so I could come more often. Techs are very nice and knowledgeable. They gave me great advise and useful information about products and colors to use on my nails. The lady who did my nails took her time to make sure every tiny detail was taken care of and did not rush me out like many other places. The place is clean and well organized with sterilized equipment after very use. Very reasonable price. Highly recommended !!

Ana was thorough and did not rush. She was very pleasant to visit with, too, and speaks very fluent English. There was a discount for having both a Mani and Pedi done and the price was very reasonable compared with other nail salon around. I had a very pleasant experience here and my nails look great.

I came to Spa & Nails for Sue, but she doesnt work here. Then I asked another staff to get my nails done. Im so sorry because of forgetting her name, but definitely come back for her. She works so meticulously & carefully. During the process, she asked me if I felt comfortable or not, which made me feel happy. My nails turned out beautiful. Love her and their team.

Great pedicures! Plus I called the morning of an appointment for four of us and they reserved the private banquet room for us. It has 4 chairs so we could all get pedicures and drink mimosas on our own. It was perfect!

This is the best place Ive been to in Rochester by far. Ive never been happier with my nails. I asked them to do something theyve never heard of before, but they did a spectacular job. My pedicurists promptly offered me refreshment and paid very close attention to his/her work (I had 2 pedicurists). Kim did my nails and she is so amazing and accommodating. I messed up my fingers TWICE and she fixed them for me and was so kind about it, especially since I had her stuck there WELL after hours. This will be my regular place.

I have been going to this Salon for quite awhile now and I absolutely LOVE it. The owner Kim is so friendly and kind, very customer focused. Trish is my gal she makes every experience a good one!

Today was my second visit and I am very pleased with the service I received on both visits. The business is clean and precautionary measures are kept with sterilization of the tools and supplies. Kayla, Kimberly and the owner are great they made me feel welcomed.

Im probably the most pickiest nail person out there. Ive been searching for a place in town that meets my expectations for awhile...Ive found most places are a hit or miss...Im so glad I found this place. Sue is amazing and I wont go to anyone or anywhere else. Ive had great luck with the others as well but Sue is excellent. I work in an office environment and shes the first who can get my gel manicure to last a full two weeks!!!

The technician did a terrible job! Worst pedicure I have ever received. The gel was uneven, clumpy, and technician was in a rush. Decided not to go forward with a manicure.

The first time I came here, I was very pleased with the young lady that did my nails. She took her time and was very particular, and my nails looked great. My second visit unfortunately was highly disappointing. My nails are sharp from her not filing them properly, the color looks nothing like it did on their samples, and the heater they put on my toes to dry them was so hot that it literally melted my toe nail polish and she had to redo them while saying I bumped them... She was very rushed and not attentive at all with my nails. Not sure if I will be returning.

If you are a return customer they greet you by name when you walk in.I usually have Kim do my nails and love them everytime. If she is not able to do them, the other nail techs are great too! I have gotten my friends and family to go there. After their first visit they have all become return customers and do not go back to their go to nail spas. I always leave very pleased with my nails! Went in to get my nails done today. The ladies that helped us were extremely rude. The only thing said to me was that I needed to wash my hands, and that my nails were too short for gel polish. They were extremely rushed and very distracted. The lady that helped me was so distracted by her conversation with her coworkers that she cut into my skin very deep and I was bleeding quite a bit. She never said anything about that. At some points it seemed like they were making fun of us, there was a point where they pointed at my friends finger and laughed. My nails look very bad, I could’ve done better myself. I’m disappointed with my experience and I will not be returning.

I got a French Gel Manicure there, within 2 days the gel was peeling off.. Exactly 1 week later is has all peeled off.. (when I go elsewhere the gel doesnt start peeling for at least 2 weeks)The gal who did the manicure didnt know what she was doing. She did not remove the old Gel like she was supposed to, she just scrapped it off with a metal tool, destroying my nails... When doing the white tips she took forever, and put it on way to thick.. I will not go back here the gal was obviously not good at her job, not sure why they would employ people like this.

Called and they said they had time all afternoon but the entire service felt rushed. My toes are unevenly painted. I got gel dip and it took over 1.5 hours because of how distracted she was by her coworkers. She stopped multiple times to talk and laugh with a coworker sitting behind them having her lunch. While trimming my cuticles she hurt me many times and then burned my skin using her dremel. She used my hand is some example while making fun of something my friend said. My nails are thick, uneven and unnatural. My toe nails chipped and smudged after just 1 hour of me being very careful. I am very dissatisfied with the experience and will not be returning.

I went in for a price on eyebrow waxing its $10 I think. But I was thinking why so much in my town its $8 but when I say you get what you pay for my eyebrows literally stayed wax for over three weeks LITERALLY!!!!!!! I had sooooo many compliments on my brows..!!! My friend said that looks like a person you should go to all the time !!! And thats what I been doing !!!!!! Theyre great !!!!! Go here !!!

Asked for a design and right away shot me down and didnt even offer an alternative. Got my nails dipped and first day one chipped, by end of first week three are chipped. Im out of town for a wedding so cant go back to get them fixed. Thankfully no ones looking at my nails that closely.

What is with the nail spa industry in Rochester? Why does everyone rave about mediocre service? My operator was friendly enough, but didnt speak much English. She didnt shape my nails very well at all, she was a little too aggressive with the cuticle scissors, her massage consisted of vigorously rubbing in the lotion, she indiscriminately buffed my whole foot instead of focusing on calloused spots, and her paint job was worse than a preteens abilities. I guess I got what I paid for here (but I get similar service EVERYWHERE else in Rochester--even the more expensive places).

They did a great job and fantastic atmosphere. This was a very relaxing break.

They rushed doing nails and ended up looking crooked and very blob looking.

I got a pedicure and manicure. The pedicure was perfect but my manicure was very poorly done. The Polish was not on thick enough to cover my nails and ruined fast. Additionally, I only received acrylic nails on a few fingers and was charged full price. Environment was not soothing at all.

Probably the worst pedi I have had in Rochester. Which is unfortunate because the good reviews are what got me in the door. She rushed, didnt pay attention, and kept getting up to help customers. I made this appointment, it wasnt even a walk in. Massage was terrible and the friend I came with started before me and finished 10 mins after me.... how is that possible? Dont go here.

I visited this place for the first time and did not have a good experience. The attendant did not cut my nails evenly did not clean cuticles and the nail paint was disturbed by the time I reached home. I generally do not rate places so low. I think I was just unlucky and did not have a good consultant.

4/31/2014 I will NEVER go back to this place! I was rushed through, they spoke their language the entire time as if I wasnt even there, and she CUT ME - TWICE! To the point where she drew blood and then she had the nerve to put alcohol on it to make it stop bleeding! THEN, I saw her take the dirty clippers and file and put them back in the little packet that makes it look like they were sanitized and new - but she did NOT clean them what so ever! This place is just wrong, they should be shut down!
