I went looking for a gift for my gift and wanted something made by a local jeweler. It was refreshing to find Greg at Smith Jewelers, who hand makes many of the pieces on display, which was exactly what I wanted. Both Greg and Nancy are extremely knowledgeable and Id definitely come back again!

@45 charge for a new battery in 2019? Due to water proofing, which I did not ask for.If water enters the housing, only the drive would have to be replaced. At a cost of $160 a drive, $35 for pressurizing at each battery change is not economical. The most expensive component of the watch is the sapphire glass.Smith Jewelry sent my watch to a watch maker, to replace the drive in 2013 - $160. Even with the new drive, the time did not seem to be accurate. As I kept monitoring the accuracy of the watch over the next months, I missed to return it, to have it double checked / replaced.Very good follow-up: the watch and drive were inspected again: seem to keep the time correct, in an acceptable range.

I took my ring that was in need of some repair in a very difficult area to solder. It came back like it was brand new. Service and Staff are wonderful. It is my pleasure to do business with this company and will refer others to them should it ever be needed.
