Needed battery replacement in my Movado watch, and found that it was quite difficult to do. Other jewelers couldnt do it or they wanted to send it out for replacement, which I didnt go fo at all. Went to Bao and they responded quickly, professionally and with a smile! The battery was replaced immediately and they also gave me a one year warranty on the battery as well. VERY satisfied. Highly recommend. Will go back again.

He is very professional and personal and takes the time to listen to what the customer is looking for. He helped me on multiple occasions with necklace repairs, ring resizing, and even plaque engraving! He does it all and he is very customer oriented! What place can you possibly go to and have a ring resized practically on the spot? What peace of mind knowing your prized engagement ring isn’t being shipped off somewhere and you have to wait weeks to get it back. Bernie was AMAZING!! Very knowledgeable regarding different medals as my engagement ring had been previously resized with white gold while the rest of the ring is platinum! He had planned to have it ready for me in less than 24 hours but due to this complication he was unable to. He knew how badly I wanted my ring back so he offered to meet me in a public area after work hours so I could get my ring in a shorter period of time. VERY reasonably priced! Would recommend to anyone and plan to go back for my wedding bands!

I took a ring there that was my grandmothers and meant a lot to me. I dont think it is worth a lot but to me it is very sentimental. It was starting to crack in places, it was no longer a circle shape and it was looking very dull. They did such a wonderful job and it is now a beautiful ring. I didnt even recognize it when I picked it up. I wish I had a before picture to show the difference because it is just beautiful. This is a wonderful shop for repairs and the staff is great to work with. I highly recommend them for all of your jewelry needs.

In the past I have had watch bands repaired by Nap and their prices were always reasonable and turnaround time was fast. Recently my automatic watch started rattling so I brought it in. They did the repair for free (it was a loose bearing). I am really happy with their service!

Horrible customer service!!!Very rude and degrading towards me as I had a question regarding repair work on my jewelry. Told me no one in Rochester could help me, and offered no suggestions on how to fix my jewelry. Maybe the owner/manager needs to take a class on customer service!

Its interesting that I am writing this review now because a year ago, when Bernie helped me out the week before Christmas, I was so much different. I regret not writing a review last year(as if my good experience would change someones mind in choosing this jeweler). I didnt have the words then but as the holiday season rolls back around, I remember a pair or citrine earrings. I had recently recovered from an injury and hasty move back to the area. I was only back to work about a month and at the last minute tried to come up with something for my Mom. The holiday season tends to sneak up on me. In a short amount of time I am supposed to materialize something that represents the love and gratitude I have for another person. My mom in this case. I know I waited until the last minute. I came across this shop walking around Marketplace mall. I overheard a couple deciding on gift they were giving together. I didnt know where to even start.Ok, so my Mom likes this color? Does she even wear earrings? I was thinking...Bernie and his associate took the time to find the right stone & setting. They even snuck me in line with several people ordering custom jewelry before Christmas. It was getting down to the wire and I had to work straight through til the holiday. I couldnt pick up the earrings. And it didnt matter because Bernie drove from Marketplace in Henrietta to Eastview in Victor (where I was working at the time) and delivered the earrings right to me. This goes beyond the earrings and really helped reinforce my faith in the holidays and the spirit of giving. I will never forget that kind gesture. Thanks Bernie!

They replaced the leather band on my watch with one almost identical and even kept the Skagen clasp from the original. Ive gone here a couple times, and always receive excellent service.

I proffered my NYS Driver ID (license) to a lady requesting some IDENtification about me, but she apparently lost it (or, otherwise, failed to return it) to me, a customer -- and has, so far made no attempt to contact me as to its disposition! (My NYS Drivers License is still at large, presumably, still at that location?)

Bernie told us our sapphire and diamond 18k gold ring was FAKE that we had just purchased from another seller only to take it 3 other places to find out the the ring was in fact REAL!!! What a shyster ! I would not put it past this man to even swap out your diamonds during a repair!!! You dont operate a business like this shame on you!!
