Guys. I had no idea this place existed and Ive been missing out. I dont get my nails done very often but when I do go I want them done nice and Ill pay extra if need be. What was great about Snow is that I didnt need to spend a huge amount to do so. I went in and asked for the whole nine yards on my nails. I wanted a manicure and a full set of gel nails stiletto style and with shellac as well. They look fantastic and Im totally coming back. The whole thing cost me like $60 and a little over $60. Totally worth it. I got to get myself pampered and had a great experience. I recommend the gel because personally Im rough on my nails and these seem to last longer than acrylic. Also be sure to call and make an appointment ahead of time because they seem to be popular. :)

Its really neat and clean. The water is nice and comfortable. They did not rush on my feet. The employees are really polite. Relaxing atmosphere. The pedicure area was immediately disinfected for the next guest. I have no complaints.

There are tons of nail salons in Richmond that I could choose from but I have consistently chosen Snow Nails. In fact I am a regular customer at Snow Nails and have been for the past 5 years now. I appreciate great customer service and a clean environment and that is what this salon provides every time. They also continue to seek training on the newest techniques and trends to provide to customers. They offered the forever manicure (Shellac) long before anyone else in Richmond. I would highly recommend this salon.

Discriminatory. They refused to do my fill and repair based off my gender. Said they were completely booked. With three employees two customers and a completely empty visible appointment book. Never recommend these people.

Tommy did an excellent job on my manicure. I tried the new ANC powder manicure, which did have many steps; however, it was completely worth the time. Tommy explained every step of the process with clarity, and he would continually request my contentment with the quality of the color. While sanding my nails, he would ask if he was putting too much pressure, which he never did. I am very impressed with the quality of manicure I received, and the professionalism of the staff. I look forward to returning many times in the future!

I love this place! They introduced me to shellac and the latest technique ANC....I still don think there is another salon in Richmond that is offering it yet. They just installed new massage foot bath chairs! Try them out today!!!

I love this place

I went into this shop for the first time, needing a fill in and polish change. They told me it would be $38. I thought it was a bit much, but I was fine with that. Shortly after starting, a woman came in complaining that she had gotten her nails done there 3 days ago and her polish started cracking and chipping after day 2! Thats when I realized that these girls were still LEARNING to do nails! They did fix the woman’s nails for free, but what about her gas and time? As the girl continued my nails, it became clear that she was a work in progress. I told her I wanted my nails square, and boy were they. She left them so sharp at the edges that they not only looked fake and ridiculous, but they poked me. I told her I didnt want them so sharp and she did fix it. Basically, the finished product looks like something I could have done at home with a walmart kit. The fill in does not go all the way to my cuticle, so there are still spaces. The acrylic wasnt shaved down evenly, so it looks like some of my nails have random humps in them. And, on some of my nails, the end, where they were filled in are coming up. The thing that upsets me most, is that they should have told me they were students before I sat down, as they had no problem giving me a price immediately. Also, I understand that everyone has to start somewhere, but charging full price, or more than full price, to be a test subject is absolutely outrageous! Would never go there again! Not even for a free redo. Would never recommend! They should post in bold letters that these are not professionals, so that people have the option of staying or leaving. RIDICULOUS!!!! I would give them zero stars if I could.

I went in for filling with gel polish and they charged me 35dollers never again I kept asking how much but no one would tell me then got ready to pay only to here 35dollers I was so upset and to top it off she did a trouble job the manager there is a thief

I love the way the staff makes me feel even before I get there. I have fun chatting with them and other clients. I am so impressed with how they remember names! It wasnt long after I began going that they started calling me by my name and it felt so good. Simple things such as offering something to drink is a nice touch. Delina even remembered that I like Potato Cakes so she clipped a coupon for me! Wow! Even though I know she has lots of clients, she makes me feel like Im the only one. The shop was already nice yet improvements are being made constantly. Tonight I got to sit in the new chair! Ahhh another great experience at Snow Nails!

I love Snow Nails. I have been going for years, I began when they first opened. The salon is always clean, the staff always greets me with a smile, by name and offering me something to drink. I enjoy being able to make appointments, its very helpful as I have a busy schedule. I get the ANC service and I receive compliments on a regular basis. I often have to explain what ANC is as a result of Snow Nails being the only shop in the area to offer the service. I live in Chesterfield and work in downtown Richmond but take the ride to Brook Rd because I refuse to go anywhere else to get my service.

Let me just say I read the reviews before going and god where these people wrong. (In my opinion) I just moved to Richmond and searching for a new nail tech has been a headache because I travel about 2 hours to get my nails done normally. These people are unprofessional & can NOT be licensed nail techs! My nails were so bulky and she didnt even put the acrylic right and when I said something she said Ill fix it it will look better. wrong it was horrible I paid 28$ for nothing and let me not start on how she polished my nails, my 5 year old sister could have done a better job this was literally the worst nail service ever! I really wouldnt recommend it!!

Nana did my dip/powdernails and they looked great, however she did not tell me a manicure was extra and let me leave with build up around the nail that she lathered up with oil. She also didn’t dip 3 to 4 times which lead to two of them chipping. I got my nails done on Saturday, but THAT following Monday, my nails chipped bc she put two layers on my nails instead of the usual 3 to 4. I could not go back to get them fixed until Wednesday bc of my work schedule and when I came in they did not tell me that I would have to pay for the repair. Anyway, the other tech repaired the two nails bc Nana was tied up and the tech blamed me on why they brought stating I “work hard” when all I do is sit at a desk all day. I explained to her that Nana did not dip my nails enough times and that’s why they chipped. That should have made sense to her since her comment was “this doesn’t happen”... chips with dip. Anyway, she charges me for the manicure which I get but also decides to charge me for the repair bc I didn’t come in until Wednesday and it had been three days. Wow. She wanted to state that when I come back ask for another dip and pay for an extra $5 which I wouldn’t need if they were trying to save on product and skip out on the 3rd or 4th dip. Basically, BAD customer service and they not only lost me, but they lost my mom who had canceled her appt for that Sunday after she saw mine AND they lost the person who referred me bc I went back and told her. I really tried to give them a shot, but you don’t halfway service someone then blame them then lie to get an extra $5 by saying they should have asked for another dip when you didn’t even do the minimum dips in the first place. First impression is the lasting. I’ll try Darling nails next. They did a great job on my friend’s.

Called before I came for a pedicure, walked in and was greeted rudely . The girl at the first counter on the left looked me up be down and the one beside her afterwards proceeded to say no we’re booked today even after I stated I just called she called me a liar and asked for my phone number to check the caller ID my second time with a rude experience here

I WILL NEVER EVEN SLIGHTLY RECOMMEND SUCH A PLACE WITH HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE.My experience was HORRIBLE at Snow Nails (Brook Road, Richmond, VA)!! I came from out of town to be a bridesmaid in a wedding. I walked in to get a simple polish change (no more than a 5-minute procedure). The Door said Walk-Ins Welcome. Once I walked in and told them what I needed they said someone would be with me shortly. Well Shortly turned into almost 30 minutes. During my wait no one checked with me to let me know they hadnt forgotten about me, I had to remind them I was waiting, Even when I asked how much longer the wait may be they told me that as soon as one of the employees was done with one person shed do my polish change (later I saw this said employee begin to work on someone new), And to make matters worse, one of their regular customers came in after me and I was really left in the cold. I told them that I was going to leave if Im not seen in the next couple of minutes, and the managers reply was a sly OK. As I left, she again slyly said, Sorry (not a sincere Im Sorry)as I proceeded to walk out the door.

I started going to Snow Nails when they first open and I love the service and the people that work there. Never had a problem with anyone talking rude or being disrespectfull to anyone before. So Mya maybe it was you and not Tommy. Tommy is very cool and respectful. I cant stand it when a customer blands everyone but themselves when they cant have their way all the time. Not trying to start anything or make.you upset but Im just saying.

At first I thought it was a upscale shop and the prices was going to be high priced. There wasnt a hour wait. They offered so more on there menu then what I expected. I already make plans to return.

I havent personaly attended snow nails, but my mother has been a wonderful costumer. She would come home with wonderful looking nails, and from what she told me the staff actually listen to what she wants. The will let you even demonstrate what you want, so you can have your total vision........ I lOVE SNOW NAILS. Ill be coming there soon!
