All things considered, the staff was very professional. I came in for a full set with nail design. I was there for three hours because I CHOSE to wait. One of the technicians had a personal issue that caused her to leave and resulted in short staff. They were humble and transparent and gave me the option to return at a later time. Since they already started, I chose to wait. Unfortunately due to the day being a weekend, it became very busy and caused a rush with the filing of my nails. One was filed too short. They tried their best to fix it, which I greatly appreciated. There was slight smudging with the gel top coat, the top coat on the glitter finger did not seal in the glitter and some acrylic was left on my skin. I like to believe that on a normal day, this would not have been the case... I would return... At a much less busy time. The staff was patient and willing to make every correction requested. They remained positive even though it was a lot to deal with being short staffed.

Very kind and timely, made sure my friend abd I could sit with each other since she was visiting from way out of town. Listened to exactly what I wanted. Really fun colors Ive never seen before, love this black abs white sparkle I put on top of the base color on my toes and on top on 2 fingers, I had gel mani but they still happily but regular nail polish on my two fingers! Great conversation or just relax. Definitely my new spot.

Literally looked on line at Google reviews and had the most wonderful experience! The staff is SO kind and understanding. I’m not a nail tech and sometimes it’s hard explaining what I want. They ended up teaching me so much and giving me BOMB nails. I wish I could give 10 starts!!! Seriously never going anywhere else. They mad my bad day so much better :).

I was researching Nail Salons in the area and Elizs Nails Spa kept coming up and with great reviews. So my daughter and I gave it a try. Although they were running behind, due to employees on vacation, they were very gracious and communicated with us. The salon was very clean organized and everyone was friendly and professional. You can tell they take pride in there business. What a change from other salons in the area! Thank you and we will return!

I was a walk-in early Saturday morning for a pedicure, I came here because of the reviews. I was greeted warmly and was told the wait would be 20 mins, not bad for a Saturday morning. While waiting I was was offered a drink and sat in the massage chair soaking. Mimi was very kind and attentive to my needs. Her leg massage was A1. The salon was clean and tidy. **While an appointment is not necessary, it’s best to make one they turned several people away but suggested a time for them to come back*** I have found my new spot.

Teresa & Mimi are THE BEST at what they do!!!I have a hard time trusting anyone else to do my nails - too many bad experiences. They are worth it & more.Few yrs ago, Teresa converted me from gel to dip manicures bc I was having a hard time getting the gel to stay on. ❤️

This was by far one of the best nail appointments I’ve had in a long time. This was my very first time visiting but it won’t be my last. My only complaint is that I had an appointment for 3p but didn’t start getting serviced until about 3:30/3:40!! They were very apologetic and the experience made up for it. Mimi did the best job on my pedicure. My feet now feel like clouds. Theresa did an amazing job on my nails. She listened to my wants and she surpassed them. Very nice location, well decorated interior, clean and most importantly, friendly staff! I was in a rush and just left a different salon where the wait was outrageous! They were busy but were able to get to me in about 15 minutes, and the lady was really nice. It was my birthday and she sang me the Happy birthday song as well as did an excellent job on my feet! There was no pain, she didnt rush when clipping and took her time getting everything just right. Will definitely go back!

I went to a different nail place and didn’t get what I asked for. I came here and they removed the old set and did a way better job on the new set. I’m new to the area and I highly recommend coming. They ask lots of questions to make sure they are doing what you asked. They also offer you drinks. I love how my nails turned out.

As I was doing some last minute research yesterday to find a good shop in Richmond I landed here and was greeted and served by Mimi she was so sweet, she made sure when I was getting my feet soaked that the water was not too hot before she did my pedicure she even offered me a small bottle of water which was cold and refreshing. Also, she made it an effort to get to know me on first name basis we were both laughing with each other about her name and my nieces name because they both share the same name lol she told me the next time I come Ill remember her because she has my nieces name. I loooove how they keep the place neat, clean and organized and because of the pandemic going around they clean up every station after every use which is a plus! When I return to them Ill be going right to Mimi.

Mini was absolutely wonderful! The atmosphere she creates is very welcoming and friendly. I got dip nails for the first time and they turned out really well and thinner than normal acrylics which is great for working with the hands. I definitely recommend this place!

I visited this shop to get a color change and a fill in because my usual nail tech was busy and this shop had awesome reviews. The staff was very polite however I sat for over an hour before receiving any service. Mind you there were three techs doing nails and I believe three additional techs doing pedicures. Strike one .Ok so I got my color change and the tech did an alright job. I only say alright because it felt like my friend was painting my toes at a slumber party.. I didnt even get toe separators to make sure my polish dried correctly which caused me to have to paint my pinky nail over MYSELF lol. She nearly drew blood from my big toe trying to clean up the lines too. Now for my fill in my usual nail tech already had the shape how I like it it so all this tech had to do was clean it up. Now the tech doing my nails was a sweetheart but my nails were not good at all. She completely altered the shape and made them round after I showed her a picture and expressed that I wanted a narrow square. She tried to fix them but every time she attempted the worse the nail looked. On one nail alone I had a round tip on the left side and a pointy tip on the right! it was a hot mess! Unfortunately, she couldn’t even polish correctly the polish was clumpy at the tips and tacky because she wouldn’t even let my nails dry completely. She even had glitter going down my hand and lower arm while giving me a massage because she refused to wait for the nails to dry. All in all I wanted to cry after leaving that shop because I was not satisfied. I appreciate the courtesy, but I will not be returning.

This place is awesome, I always receive great service every time I go. The owner, Eliz herself, is also extremely kind and works there alongside her staff. I would recommend calling ahead because they always tell you how many are ahead of you and what the wait times will be like. I highly recommend going now during the winter season as they are not very busy and could use the business. The place is always clean and they comply with mask rules and safety.

Made an appointment for 10 when they open for a mani/pedi. 3 other customers also with appointments were also there at opening with only 2 employees. My pedicure looks good, I wasn’t super happy with the mani but they happily fixed it for me and made sure I was happy. They have lots of good reviews so they must just been having an off day

Had a great first experience at Eliz’s Nails! The staff are very welcoming and nice. The classic Spa Pedicure has everything you need (and that’s the basic one), but they have more options if you prefer paraffin wax. GREAT PRICES, GREAT PEOPLE, GOOD VIBES!!! I will be back!

Visiting Richmond first Friday in October. The 3pm appointment time meant nothing. Super under staffed. Didnt see any cleaning of the chairs in between clients. We were seated in pedicure chairs at 3:18pm. I had to turn on the water and jets myself to soak our feet. No one cared. Place seems like it doesnt have a manager; it was disorganized. Only reasons we waited patiently is because its one of few places we could find that had paraffin wax, this was a birthday excursion and we had no place we really had to be next. The first time we were really addressed was at 3:45pm. They started on my birthday guy and the nail tech he got was top notch. I was thanked for starting our own water and offered beverages. Great start. Lady sat down beside me. Took them 20 minutes before they started her water. They didnt start on me until 4:10pm. My nail tech had no personality and was actually pretty rough with my feet. Not a huge big deal. She had some redemptive value. Appreciated that she took her time and the second half of my pedicure she was pretty on point. We left at 5:11pm. Overall, experience was worth the wait for a full hour worth of pedicuring a piece, and quality work. My birthday honey said my legs and feet are feeling divine. Mission accomplished.

Teresa and her staff is one of a kind. It’s too bad I can’t post a photo here but my nails look like I spent hundreds of dollars on them. No joke — Teresa is highly gifted and knowledgable. This is my go to salon in RVA for dip powder nails. Best price for UNBEATABLE quality! Everything about this establishment is clean, professional and fun. I recommend Teresa to friends and strangers (who frequently compliment my nails when she’s done them!)

I came in close to the end of the evening. Teresa still did my full set. She was wonderful. I wanted them shorter and rounded edge square... she did them exactly what I pictured.

A lovely salon, scrupulously clean and the operarors are all professional and talented.I drive in from the Northern Neck to have all my services done by them.

Started going to them the day they opened. I was new in the area from California. I wasnt sure if Id like the comparison. The mood and work from my first day til now has been unmatched. Being a regular apart of the salon family. Everyone speaks to each other from staff to customers freely with a warm welcome. No wonder why I have continued to come here for do long. Its easy to begin a good relationship with the best. Having gone out of town, moved, and returned running back to my home salon now here in Richmond VA. You will not find the attention to detail; the perfection reflected dedicated to the work anywhere else. I sat down and from day one I walked out knowing it was worth returning. This is their ministry delighted when I walk in the door. Trust me their quality of work is the best. If you ever have to wait when its busy. It will be worth the wait or schedule a time to come in.

They were bumpy and she nicked my fingers plus she didnt shape them right.... they were for a NYE party so now I had to go them done again as I was embarrassed by them. I have called to get a refund but no answer

I really like them. All the staff are personable. I always like how my nails come out. My only complaint is that they dont have many staff so it can take a little bit to be seen when theyre really busy.

My nails were lifting and breaking three days after I left. It wasnt worth the 45 minute wait at all. The customer service was good, but the actual service was garbage. I cant believe how little these nails lasted. I kinda feel bad because the lady was so friendly. However, you pay for good work and when it turns out bad, what can you do? Friendly or not, the work is really not very good. Cant pay for subpar nail work. No sir!

Service is always pleasant when I come here. So pleasant, I left my main nail shop for this one. I wanted my nails pointy. I might of asked Meme to make them more pointy at least 3 or more times. Most nail techs get frustrated but Meme, with a big smile on her face, said sure no problem each and every time and made sure I was satisfied with them. For those of you had an issue with them give them a chance to correct it no business is perfect...well except Chic Fila.

I came in on a Monday afternoon for a 3:00 appt and my experience was fantastic!! I got dip powder which they had LOTS of colors for, more than I’ve seen at other salons. My nails look great and the manicure only cost $40 which is very reasonable especially since I was offered refreshments. Will definitely be going back!!

Would not recommend this salon. I got a full set 5 days ago, so not even a week yet! My nails are lifting up and THREE have completely popped off. The actual work of the acrylic is poor, there is bumps & ridges through out the nails. Other nails are crooked, and not the size of my natural nail bed. Never again! *** UPDATE*** I called to express my concerns of my nails. I did not appreciate the way they handled the situation. They tried to make me feel as if it was my fault that the nails were falling off. They then told me I could not have a refund. Eventually I was told I could have a salon credit. After about 30 mins of back and forth I was finally told to come to the salon so they could see what I was talking about. When I came in, the woman had an attitude, did not care to listen to my concerns, and SHOVED my refund into my hands and walked away. At that point, it was no longer worth it, so I left. I will never be coming back to this salon.

Its been one week since I got my nails done, and I just had my 3rd nail break off. Its almost as if the acrylic is cheap or the tips werent put on correctly. (She did have trouble getting one of the tips to stick, and it popped off and had to be re-glued during my visit) Disappointed about my nails breaking off after a couple days and having to super glue them back on. I am on vacation and had that same nail break off again as well as another. (Not even doing anything hard or rough on my nails) I shouldnt have to be super gluing my acrylic nails together. Ive never had this issue before with nails, especially being not even a week later! Theyre customer service is great, but the quality just isnt there. After paying $55 for a pedi (paint chipped off one toe already) and a full set AND tipping both people well, this is very upsetting! I will not be returning. Sad to spend my hard earned money on something that didnt even last a week. :(

Really really nice experience..the pedicures are wonderful and they nail techs are great!Atmosphere is good too.. they really try and help you decide on what u want and they don’t try and pressure you into anything h don’t feel comfortable with. They are easy to talk to n not that badly priced. They have plenty of choice to choose from and they actually talk to you! So agin really nice place n people who work there!
