Called Ahead Of Time To Inquire About Nail Service For My 5 Kids And Myself And They Turned Me Down After I Drove All The Way Here Granted No Kids Should Just Be Wandering Around But They Were Getting Serviced And I Was A Paying Customer Who Turns Down Children And Then In A Nasty Way At That.

They do not clean their tools. My finger is swollen because it is infected after getting my nails done there. I will never go back again

I’m not impressed. We had an appointment and we got there and no one had written it down. When we finally got in the chair, the lady in to the left, second row in the right chair was complaining how designs take too much time and how she miss when everyone got a solid color. I got a short nail design and was charged more then when i get long. My mom said her lady repeatedly told her she couldn’t do a simple design and glued the bottom of her finger to the nail. There are places in richmond that will do designs, not complain and will actually care for you. Go somewhere else!

My home girl was upset because she had a date with her dream man and the nail salon that she went too treated her like trash and I look on Google maps read some reviews s and decided to give JDs a call and see will they be able to service her on a last minute notice and they were very nice and professional and they seem like they know the value of a good customer and my home girl is a faithful so you all can be happy that good service ☺️ acquired another customer.

The best place by far that I get my nails done at. Tina did my nails and they look amazing. I forgot the name of the lady who did my pedicure but she was also sweet and did an amazing job. They all are very nice and welcoming and honestly that’s a first for me going into a nail shop. Definitely will be a regular customer here. 👌🏾

I absolutely loved my nails. The lady in #7 booth did mine. She was patient and I trusted her judgment. She made them look like my own. 1st time here & Im definitely returning. 💚

1st time visitor. No wait. Lots of technicians. Busy shop. Cut down of toenails was done well. Limited non-gel colors, but found a color I liked. Didnt find out until after the pedi that their drying station was broken, so had to be more careful when leaving with wet toes. Technician & staff were nice. Chairs are close together with somewhat plexi glass in between, but all around were masked. $35 for callous treatment, sugar scrub. Seems like higher prices for less has become the norm, but I didnt walk out hurt from too short, irregular cut down toenails from other shops.

My nail tech is Hieu & he is the best, he gives me what I ask for & more with a touch of class. They take walk- ins but I always make an appointment so I can get in and out they do stay busy....If u want your nails to look good go to Hieu, I promise you wont be disappointed...I also get my eyebrows done by Cindy and shes GREAT.....

I was there on Thursday and Lindsey did my pedicure can you say happy camper. Im already booked my next appointment.

They made me wait over a hour for eyelashes an then the lady told me she wasn’t going to do my lashes because I pointed out where she messed up last time.. an then she proceeded to do a customers lashes that came in after me before she even tried to do my nails

Today was my 1st day and I will be returning!!😁 They request you to wash your hands upon entering and that made me so comfortable!🤗 During covid that was important they were clean and professional and the work was excellent! Also my daughter loves her nails too.. Thanks see ya soon

They need more space in between stations & pedicure chairs. I like that they use liners in their pedicure stations. Overall a good experience

Was referred to this nail salon. Salon was great, very clean and efficient. In the pedicure bowl, they use plastic liners for each client, so your feet never actually touch the foot basin. Mimi (you have to make appt. with her to get her) my nail tech was amazing and very talented with designs, will definitely be going back. Whether your a plain Jane or bling is your thing they can accomadate your nails.

Not gonna lie- I was afraid at first because I thought my vision wasn’t going to be executed the right way. But after just relaxing and letting the nail tech do her thing, I came out on cloud 9!!! LOVE my nails and will definitely be back!!

I use to frequent this establishment with my cousin years ago. I just went back in for a fill today. They were busy as all get out at 9:30am on a Saturday morning. I was there about a hour and Helen did a beautiful job on my gel fill in. Lots of colors to choose from. Very good quality and the owner is funny, he made me laugh several times. I will be back. Thanks Helen!

Their customer service is horrible they tried to charge me $50 to get a regular manicure and pedicure bad service do not recommend I wish I can give this no stars

I was not impressed today on my first visit. Although they are supposedly social distancing for Covid, it was packed in there. Every chair was full. Even though the sign said no children, I counted 5. I called ahead and was told there was no wait, but they sat me in the pedicure chair with water for 25min to wait. The actual mani pedi was done well. But the atmosphere killed the experience.

My Mother and I have been going to J D Nails for many years now... The entire team is really nice, and the environment is always maintained nicely. The owner and his wife are very nice to talk to, very welcoming.

Called and they said to come. Came there and they’re closed. Never again. Very unprofessional.I tried to make an appointment and they wouldn’t let me.

I Love this nail salon so much. Stop by and see them you won’t regret it. You can call and make appointments or walk in. Each of the staff members are so nice, and the employees that they have most of them have been there for over 5 to 10 years. Now that says a lot when a nail salon has a low turn over rate on their staffing.They all work together as a team and it showsYea once in a while you may have to wait but that’s because they have built such a large loyalty in customers because of the awesome work and family environment you feel when you walk in. So for me the wait time is worth it!!!But that does not happen to often. If your in a real hurry and short on time“BE UPFRONT with the owners”John and his wife will make every effort to get you a seat to accommodate you.

I had an appointment with Mimi on Saturday and was amazed! The shop was very nice and well kept. Mimi had a very impressive online portfolio for me to look at before the appointment. My nails have never looked or felt this good! I’ve received sooo many compliments on my nails. Quality work and great pricing is definitely offered at JD Nails!

I have absolutely nothing negative to say about jd nails:They keep their shop clean.Their customer service is amazing.I enjoy the music.The shop is a decent sizeI never feel like Im not wanted or neglected and they do great work! I love going here to get my eyebrows done and even when theres a lot of people you are always in and out. If youre looking for somebody to do a really great job on your eyebrows ask for Katie shes willing to do what you want instead of doing her own thing unlike at most nail salons.

A talented staff specifically for nail designs. I was satisfied therefore I called to try to set an appointment. I was so disappointed, rude and arrogant. I can not support a business with my very hard earn money who can not speak to me in a decent manner.

They destroyed my nails. I paid 90 for my nails and toes to be done. I got the SOS nails technique The nails started lifting after 3 days. After day 5 I lost 2 nails and pieces of my skin and fingernail. Poor craftsmanship. And it was my first time going.

Went for the first time (and last time) and the technician cut my nails way to short and uneven. After it was done my nail were gritty at the bottom where she polished over top of nail dust. 2 stars because she was friendly but service was awful.

I spent nearly $100 with them and my nail chipped before I even got home then a 2nd nail broke off the next day. Im terribly disappointed. The guy who did my nails rushed every step so thats probably the reason why my nails broke so soon and I directly expressed to him that I didnt want them breaking because he was rushing so he moved even faster. Ill never go to them again.

So I went to this nail salon twice and saw MiMi who was okay. The last time I saw her she told me it was $55.00 for a new set I just paid. After talking to a friend she said a new set it completely new nails, so I texted Mimi and asked her how is it that much if she didn’t give me new nails. She said it wasn’t a fill in. So instead of her giving me more clarity and explaining the difference she just stopped responding to me for a new appointment. She’s young however very unapprofessional.I didn’t understand the issue or problem because I just asked her one question. I don’t know if it’s because I questioned her and she felt bad or what but it was ridiculous. I wasn’t angry, unprofessional or anything I just asked what’s the difference.

I went to JD nails today, Sunday. The line was long for nails so I decided to get a pedicure while I waited for a open chair since I didnt make an appointment. I wanted a basic pedicure and full set. I was asked to pick out my color and sat down in the spa chair. I sat there for about 15 minutes which I didnt mind because the water felt nice. Then a nail tech came over to ask me what I want gel or regular. I went with regular since I like to frequently switch it up. The nail tech received a call from her mother and started to talk to me about her problems..not a dealbreaker just small talk. She used a pumice stone and painted my toenails. There was still a small callus in the middle of my foot which i had to pay extra for a callus treatment...normally at other salons thats apart of the service. After she was done, I was still in the chair drying not sure why...then a Lady comes storming into the salon swearing at this nail tech Lady for hanging up on her...followed by a male tech calling the police and then the Lady said you dont have to call the police got in her car and left. Then I decided yeah Ill just settle with the pedicure and go to my normal salon during the weekday since theyre closed on Sundays. The nail tech that did my pedicure started to work on another Lady pedicure next to me. The Lady said the water was too hot then too cold and instead of the lady draining the water out because it was filled to the top she pour the water into my spa bowl while Im sitting there. If you go to this place be ready to pay for ever single thing, hood activities, and minimal decor, and warm fruit. I heard this place do a great job on nails...but was ready to go due to the attitudes and drama.

I came in, it was busy. No one asked what services I wanted until they saw me about to get up and walk out. Afterward I was told to pick out a color for my pedicure then sit back down. I waited and I waited. The they called a lady who came AFTER me to sit in the pedi chair. I said that I had come before her and another tech told me that I needed to wait. They need to be more organized and more attentive, work on customer service as a whole and they need to give people a time frame if there’s a wait so they’re not sitting and waiting for Jesus to come. I will never come here again.

Everyone is great at doing nails but Su is the best at pedicures. Good atmosphere, and they give you water and fruit.
