First time ever having nail extensions and Eric did an amazing job. He managed to replicate the reference photo I showed him with good attention to detail and was very friendly. Thank you for accommodating 3 of us even though we called up last minute. Definitely a good experience and will be recommending to my friends.

Julia is my favorite nail tech in Richmond. She is bright, bubbly, talented, engaging, and makes great conversation. I’ve been seeing her for 2+ years and have never gotten a bad set from her. She really does give you the ✨💖Instagram Nails💖✨ you want. The shop itself is bright and clean and the workers there are very nice and helpful as well. Bling has a wide range of polishes, designs, and extras but Julia really one-ups it with her personal collection of vibrant acrylic powders, all the sparkles and gems you could ask for, and cute 3D nail charms....If you’re looking for a new nail tech this is the one.

Julia is one of THE most amazing nail techs! She truly takes pride in what she does and it shows. She always makes sure I’m comfortable and that I like what she’s doing to my nails which is very important. I scheduled an appointment with her got a freestyle set for my birthday and she did not disappoint!!! The photos speak for themselves!

Absolutely THE WORST nail salon I have been to. I got a pedicure, an hour after I left the the nail polish still havent dried. They blamed it on me not getting gel nail polish which is absurd!!! They said they would repaint only two of the nails but thats pointless if their all thick and wont dry.

As much as i hate to say it, this was a horrible nail experience. I came in to fix four acrylic nails that had broken off. The four new nails were chunky and extremely misshapen even with me asking multiple times for them to be thinned out and filled on the sides. The nails from my previous set that had not broken looked great whereas the new nails were a different length, extremely thick, bumpy, and misshapen. I regularly get acrylic nails but after this appointment my nails ached from getting yanked on. There was a large gap between my pinky nail and the fake nail that was being put on that I mentioned after she applied it but she told me it was fine (that nail fell off within 48 hours). I requested a very simple design on one nail on each hand, an S with a small heart, the S was unrecognizable and the heart was blotchy and uneven. I ended up paying $60 for the four new nails and a fill on the others, it has been two days since I was at bling and so far 2/4 nails they replaced have fallen off. Very disappointing and a huge waste of money.

I am not really accustomed to getting my nails done but I swear Julia is the best. She makes me excited to come back in 2 weeks. She has great customer service skills and conversation. The eotk space is clean and spacious. Very comfortable with a great vibe. Want great nails go to Bling Nails... I sincerely recommend Julia!!!

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. First there were flies everywhere! I should have left right then but based on a 4.0 out of 5 star rating I thought I’d give it a try. My pedicure wasn’t really a pedicure. They would not do any callus removal wanted to charge me more after I brought my own polish and they didn’t cut my cuticles I honestly felt like I Could have done this at home myself would not recommend. Didn’t seem like anyone in shop being serviced was enjoying themselves.

HELLO...My name is CC and I have been coming to bling nails for about 5 months. I’m making this review because I have CONTRACTED a very severe infection FROM THIS SHOP. Their methods are not sanitary and now I potentially could lose my fingernail over their lack of sanitation. I will be pressing charges and reporting their business. Please do not go to this shop. My recovery time from this nail infection will probably be over 6 MONTHS. The owner of the shop is unfortunately very unprofessional as well as the techs, especially the woman name JENNY who did my nails during the times I visited. I am completely disappointed. If anyone knows how to file a complaint to the better business bureau or knows how to contact the state of Virginia health department, please let me know.

So I was able to come and get service as a walk in. My nail tech was @shedidmynails and she nailed it literally I was able to show my design from online and she did an amazing job! She had amazing conversations she took her time and was very knowledgeable about protecting and shaping my nails! She also has charms and cuticle oils that will have your cuticle healthy and smelling great as well. Her IG is available for appointments but if you go to bling nails she will take you as a walk in too! I will definitely be back for my next fill in🥰

My daughter had her fingernails “ripped”(removed) at this salon. Obviously by an incompetent or sadistic worker-see picture.

Extremely poor job. Jenny did my nails, she applied my acrylic powder so thick as if she had no experience with acrylic nails. Due to her applying the acrylic so thick even with multiple rounds of filing they were way to thick and lumpy. This place is a huge waste of time and money. When getting my acrylic nails done she failed to paint them completely and when i mentioned the spots towards my nail cuticle that were lacking polish she said that spot was “too hard to paint” … honestly unacceptable considering their prices. go ANYWHERE but here !!!!

Very poor quality. I asked for dip nails and they did not even dip them. Asked to have them fix the shape and they did not. My nails look so bad and I went home and cried. Will be going to a different nail salon to have them fixed. Photos below are the differences between my thumb shapes.... I asked for an almond shape, showed example photo, and asked to have the shape fixed numerous times... and this was the result. Also was told wait time was 20 minutes and I waited for 45, I do not mind waiting as long as I am told an accurate wait time.

They do a really nice job with nails! They came out really nice and I got exactly what I wanted the first time I went. However, I probably will never go again. The employee was kind of criticizing the length and it didn’t bother me much but, why are you criticizing what a customer wants? I understand looking out for a customer in terms of breaking a nail but, I actually am very cautious of length and what I do with my nails. They’re very unprofessional. I’m not going to return because, I had scheduled an appointment and upon arrival they told me they were busy and questioned me about wether or not I made an appointment when I literally had called about an hour prior. They are not professional at all and don’t take business serious. Go if you’re willing to put up with awful customer service!

I’ve coming here for about a month now and the girls are so sweet and do a great job. I would recommend going on a week day as it does get very crowded on the weekends and there isn’t much space.

The representative from this shop literally took time to respond to my review (afterward) to tell the public I wasnt justified in my opinion of service because I was late. Therefore, that message warranted a full written review as opposed to the original lone star without comment.Heres what actually occured. I called earlier in the day for an appointment . I stated it would need to be after my workday around 5pm, or just after..5:15. I ran a few minutes behind, so I called to re-confirm the appointment, and as a courtesy, to let them know I was still coming in five minutes. Actually, before they realized it was someone with a standing appointment, they were ready to tell me to walk in 👀, hmmm...When I come in, there are three full chairs (thats all they have) and no mention of the call I just made to confirm their availability and my appointment. I had a committment that night and was unable to wait for the walk-in they gave my appointment to, to finish.While I understand their primary business is largely VCU student who may or may not make or show for appointments, the efforts were made on my part to ensure I had an appointment. If that could not be accommodated, that should have been communicated during my follow up call when I extended them courtesy that was not extended to me.This is a very small shop with limited capacity and no parking on the actual street. Consider a store with more options, ample service area and professional staff that will not stoop to bionic levels of petty to cover for poor service. The inappropriate, classless, unprofessional responses to critical reviews here, support my statements and overall experience. #Period.

A nice quiet salon where you can relax while getting your nails done. I haven’t had any problems with my nails lifting. Staff is kind and punctual. Fair and affordable prices with several different payment methods options.

I was new to the area and took a risk letting them do my nails. I made a huge mistake doing that. I requested a full set with the acrylic powder, coffin shaped on 11/14/20. I provided the powder which is a very credible brand. The manicurist Jenny first applied the acrylic powder on too thick, and was filling my nails way past the table area. You might as well say my hands were in her lap, I never seen a manicurist operate that way. Due to her applying the acrylic so thick she spent awhile filing them down and cut me twice. I let me being cut slide due to the fact that I have wide nail beds and for the shape that I wanted on my hands some people tend to struggle shaping them good. Moving forward, she shaped my nails exactly how I wanted them which made me satisfied.Two days later the polish on my hands began to chip, I called the salon right away to let them know that this shouldnt happen etc no one answered, so I left a voicemail. I finally got them on the phone a day or 2 later and spoke with the owner, she asked to see a picture of my hands etc. Moving along the lady that was supposed to fix my nails two weeks later due to my schedule was not in the shop on the 11/28 to fix them. I was in a little traffic I called the shop 4 times and she did not answer the phone. I mentioned this to the owner and her ambition to remedy the issue was not fixed. So I ended up going to City Nails in Richmond, VA where Maria did a very good job on my nails. I do not recommend Bling Nails whereas the professionalism and customer service is terrible. The fact that I was displeased with the quality nails I have also given them the option to mail me a check, they said they dont do refunds. So here I am posting this review, Id give them no rating.

Enjoyed my service here. Did gel mani and pedi. Apparently in Richmond gel is not common. A few nail salons strictly only did regular nail polish (which obviously doesn’t last a week).

So, I went here on a whim. I usually go to my home nail salon in Chesterfield (30 mins away) However, my nail broke in class, and I couldn’t just continue walking around looking busted. So I was hesitant to stop in due to the wait time reviews and such. But LET ME TELL YOU! I had absolutely NO wait time I called at 10:50 to make an appointment for 12:30, got there no waiting whatsoever, and then Jenny did my nails and she did GREAT! I love them and she’s so sweet and funny! I will definitely be going back. 💖

The lady said she placed me for another time sometime in the morning) and that she wanted me to come tomorrow????? Very unprofessional! Customers shouldn’t be held responsible for the error the employee.

Bling nails did an amazing job in giving me a full acrylic set (even fixing what another local nail salon did to my nails) In addition the nail techs were personable, and kind. At the end of the day I think this salon is the most experienced in the VCU area. Ive tried several salons and this is by far my favorite.

I came on a good day as a walk in. They immediately got my nails done. They look great. They staff are really nice. Its a small little shop but they do really good work.

I am particular when it comes to beauty services and Bling Nails definitely deserves all five stars. The location is central and walkable if you live in the downtown area and the atmosphere inside is very clean and relaxing. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND BOOKING AN APPOINTMENT. This is a small salon and tends to get quite busy as it is located on the VCU campus however walk-ins are always welcomed. This is a “boutique style” nail salon so please bring your best salon etiquette and enjoy the experience. Student discounts are available.

I had a gentlemen do my nails... and let me tell you, it was almost a disaster. I went in to get dip powder and the guy had no idea what he was doing. He barely even knew how to file my nails. I asked for square shape but he made them way too square and filed way too much to the point he made me bleed. He was putting the layers of dip powder on uneven, and filed before he used the activator coat so he ruined the sides of my nail while filing them. Another lady had to take over and fix the problem and he walked out of the shop and never returned. The whole experience took 2 and a half hours. I won’t be returning. Also, I can see the owner or whoever responding to bad reviews calling customers liars and untrustworthy of their review. Negative points for that, unprofessional. If someone responds to this calling me a liar I will personally walk in to the store and speak to the owner about it. Ridiculous.

The one place you can go to and all the nail techs know what they’re doing really love and enjoy this place such friendly and welcoming staff most definitely should try it out one of the best in rva when it comes to persist, good looking nails

This place would receive 0 stars if I could truly rate my “experience”. I’m in from out of town and came here because my sister liked them. We made appointments. They got my sister in and I waited, and waited and was skipped over twice with people that had appointments a half hour later then us. I ended up leaving because I couldn’t wait any longer since my sister was done and it was not 45 minutes I had been there. DO NOT MAKE AN APPOINTMENT because it’s pointless and they will laugh at you. WORST PLACE I Have EVER been to get nails done. TERRIBLE!!!!! The manager complains about answering the phone and is the rudest business manager ever. nobody I know will ever be back to this joke of a business

Worst pedicure ever! The salon itself could use a nice cleaning as the pedicure bowl was absolutely filthy! There was stuff floating around the water, which was lukewarm at best. The nail tech (I can’t remember her name, but it was the new girl) wasn’t the most friendly. She manhandled my toes and worked on my feet DRY! It was almost as if she wasn’t comfortable performing my pedicure. I’ll give it two stars, because she’s young as is most of the staff here but they sure need more help when it comes to the pedicures! First and last time coming here.

I got the dipping set from them, and it turned out really good!I made my appointment a month in advance and when I got there she didnt have an appointment for me, she did squeeze me in but this gave me a weird vibe.I like my nails a lot and I will definitely be going there again to get my nails done! :)

Having relocated to the area, Ive been back to Bling at least 3 - 4 times. The customer service is lack luster, with some of the staff behaving as though the customers are a bit of a nuisance. Nothing over the top, just disinterested in being welcoming/pleasant. The other bit that disturbed me at my last visit was the cleanliness of the shop, or rather lack there of. Lasty, during my last and final visit, the tech complained about doing dip set and added some bluish liquid that destroyed my natural nails.

I have gone to Bling Nail a couple of times and always seemed to enjoyed their good service. Expect last visit I got a nail infection on my big toe.

I appreciate this place, the staff works hard to keep all of their clients happy.

Wow! Stopped here today on my way to DC from GA. Understand, I looked them up before I arrived. Based on the pictures I decided to take a break from driving and enjoy spa services. Parking was super simple and I was greeted as soon as I walked in. Immediately I noticed the amazing smell. It didn’t smell like a typical nail salon. I was immediately seated and enjoyed an amazing pedicure! She was extremely professional and quick. It was one of the best pedicures I’ve ever had. Next, I received SNS (Dip powder). I did have to have some soaked off but that was quick! The sns color I chose was one they created themselves. It turned out PERFECTLY! the colors are so vibrant and glossy! I will be stopping here every time I make the trip from GA to DC! Thanks so much bling nails!!!!
