The people here are super fun! Management is not great… the manager decided that trying to set up residents with each other was her main goal and everything else gets swept to the side. She needs to accept that she is managing single housing and she will never be able to marry off all her residents. The only way to make sure something gets taken care of is if you go to the office and bug them about it.

Pros: Great social environment, super active wards, really easy to make friends. Apartments are older but feel homey and are well maintained. Apartments are always clean when moving in. A good mix of freshmen and people who have lived here forever. Right across the street from the main campus. Piano room, free storage, and exercise rooms are an added bonus.Cons: White gloves are unnecessarily brutal and will almost always result in charges no matter what, parking lot small, apartment overpriced compared to other similar complexes. Limited cabinet/storage space especially if your roommates have a lot of stuff. Only 1 fridge which makes storing food a jenga game! No air conditioning, although youre so close to campus its not a hassle to study there if you overheat in the summers.By the time I graduate I will have lived here for 6 semesters. Overall I really like it here although I do think there are some things that can be improved upon.

The location is really good, across the street from campus. The management is good, but pretty disorganized. They set up fun activities every so often. There is also a great social atmosphere here. However, the pricing is high compared to other nearby complexes, such as Arcadia and Delta Phi, the price-lock offer they used to have is no longer available, and maintenance will probably not fix any issues within the semester. If youre ok with that, I highly recommend living at Heritage!

If it weren’t for the great people living there and the location of this place, Heritage would have hardly any business. They rely heavily on the fact that they’re right next to campus and they use that so they don’t have to improve and take care of their tenants. We went months without hot water in the Rexburg winter which was absolutely brutal. Finally they came to fix it and it was lukewarm at best. They take advantage of you at clean checks in anyway possible, even though we inherited the apartment with crumbs everywhere. Bottom line is don’t live here. You can find apartment complexes that take care of their residents for cheaper.

These were fantastic apartments to live in! Everyone there is very social and friendly. The space was great, with plenty of room for roommates and friends to visit. Rooms had good closet space and nice furniture. Kitchen was well- set up and had lots of space for a college apartment. Beautiful set up and great management. A cross the street from campus. I would recommend to anyone. Would have stayed longer if I hadnt gotten married!

I lived here for 3 semesters and it was a great place to stay for my first apartment in Rexburg. It is a very social place and right across campus. The management is okay, they might charge you for white glove checks. Good place to make friends. Was a good ward when I was there. Only has 1 fridge though.

Best place to live!!! The managers are super dope and are fun to hang out with! super close to campus, the comment about there being better places is 100% bogus, takes no longer than 5 minutes to get anywhere on campus and all the events are close as well. There is also tons of stuff to do here and there is always something to do or people to talk to. I 100% recommend living here if you get the chance!!!!!

I have lived at Heritage 8 semesters and I love it. They make sure that things are taken care of around the apartment very quickly. The management is always very willing to work with you on paying for the contract. They require a through white glove cleaning at the end of the semester that can be stressful. But the central location and amenities in the complex totally make up for that. Having a washer and dryer in the apartment is totally awesome!

I really liked living here at Mountain Pines. I spent 2 semesters here and didnt run into any problems. I like how close it was to campus and LOVED my roommates. If you are looking to living here, I liked it HEAPS. Also, there are perks such as a tanning bed, which I used, and the ward that was here was AWESOME. I was on the bottom floor and had a great time living here for the past 7 months. Another good thing about living here is that devotional was really easy to go to. Its right across the street! Also, its by Subway and the Shakeout, which are two very good places to eat. You can walk to anywhere from here. I LOVE love LOVED living here. If you have any questions, feel free to email me or find me on Facebook :)

I highly recommend housing at Mountain Pines! Its very comfortable, maintenance is very prompt and fast when you need it, and the managing is awesome! They always try to do fun things for the girls that stay here at Mountain Pines like pancake socials where the managers cook for us and/or going to Rexburg Rapids for free! They are seriously the best ever! They are very caring, willing to work with you, and always put you first. I like the living room set up in the apartments that are nice and open along with the kitchen where you can move the table around easy if you have guests over for dinner. I love the location of this housing complex too, it just makes life easier!

Heritage is a great place to live for so many reasons. The apartments themselves have recently been renovated so they have new carpet, a nice kitchen, washer and dryer in each apartment, a bbq area, and large TVs. The whole complex has a nice, social atmosphere as well. The managers take the time to get to know your name and care about you. They are fair and can work with you. Clean checks are often, but thats great because it kept the apartment clean =). And, of course, the location is great. I really enjoyed my time there and only moved because I graduated and got married.

LIVE HERE. I give it a five star rating with one caveat that Ill mention at the end. I really loved my time at Heritage apartments. I lived there for 4 semesters. The manager Andrea is SO nice and friendly. She really cares about the tenants and shes always throwing activities for us. Shes very reasonable and accommodating. You cant beat the location. Literally across the street from campus. If I ever forgot anything it was never a big deal to just run home and grab it. The apartments are nice. In-unit laundry is really nice too. The price isnt bad either for everything that you get. Although the people always change, it seems like the apartments are always filled with really nice social people. Just the way the apartments are set up between girls and boys kind of fosters a social atmosphere. Not to mention many people are in the same ward there so it becomes easy to get close to everyone there. But the one hang up I had that seemed to ding me every single semester. White glove cleaning. I always got charged at the end of the semester. At first I thought it was because I just didnt clean up to standard, but then I had a professional cleaning service do my white glove at the end of the last semester I stayed there and I still got charged. Im not saying that it wasnt fair, and Im sure many people get out of there without getting charged, but there always seemed to be something not up to par with my white glove even when I paid people to do it.Dont get me wrong. This place is AWESOME and I recommend it and the managers that work there to anyone, anytime. Just be extra careful with cleaning because itll get you. But for me it was totally worth it.

I absolutely loved everything about living at Mountain Pines/Heritage. It is a very social place, with the best kind of people. Andrea, the manager, is very friendly and works so hard to make us happy. She remembered my name for the entire 5 semesters I lived there, even after an 8 month break. Rob, the maintenance man, is so good. He always filled our requests within 24 hours. Also, the location simply cannot be beat. And it has in-apartment laundry. And the wall color and backsplash are cute. :)

LOVE LOVE LOVE it here! The manager (Andrea) is very quick to respond especially if anything breaks. I loved the size and setup of the apartments. The location is perfect and super close to campus. Ive visited other apartment complexes and this one gives you the most bang for your buck. Been here for a year and wouldnt want to live anywhere else. The apartments are super clean and the ward is AMAZING. Some people complain that clean checks are too hard and that they get charged for white glove but every apartment complex makes you do clean checks like these and if you follow the directions Andrea gives you and put in some effort you wont be charged. I have nothing negative to say about heritage :)

I lived in Heritage when it first opened as Women only housing in the 80s. Interesting roommates in the 2 apartments I lived.....hopefully better screening process. I am never going to live here again, and heres why...1. The internet is just awful. I literally had to take my online class at school. What is the point?2. No air conditioning. If you want kind of cooler, you have to pay for it, or get it yourself.3. Loud people, all the time.4. The building seems like it will collapse at any moment. It looks like all the structural problems were fixed with paint. Not even duct tape... paint.5. Mold build-up is beyond ridiculous, and not taken care of properly by management.6. Way insufficient parking. Half the people that live at the complex arent allowed to park in the lot.7. Expensive as heck. The amount one person pays should be the amount paid for the entire apartment for the almost the entire semester.8. Almost no one gets their entire deposit back, no matter how many hours they spent cleaning and scrubbing. Plus the outrageous checkout fee, if you forget to send a measly little email.I definitely dont recommend Heritage Apartments. That is, unless youre looking for far below average apartments at above average prices.

The old Manager, Andrea, and the assistant manager, Natalie, are amazing and go above and beyond the call of duty. My only issue is the bang for your buck. For the same price you can live in other apartments that are close to campus, but have air conditioning and a second fridge. The white glove checks are ridiculous, and if you leave early, basically plan on paying extra because they will ding you for even one little speck of dust, and theyll charge you just cuz they can because youre not there to defend yourself. parking also increased from $50 to $65 which they did simply because they could, not because they made parking better or easier. The people who live here are very chill and the apartments are nice and the wards are amazing and location is unbeatable. if they would simply focus less on money and more on offering a better experience for students, this would be the number one place to live. they also charge you an absurd amount of money if you forget to send a stupid check out email, which is literally pointless since by the time they charge you, they already know youre gone. They also offer no discount to students who return to Heritage, which is almost standard in Rexburg. Focus on students, not money, and youll be way better off.

The manager is super nice. Obviously because its close to campus people want to live here but if you have the option dont. For what you pay for its not worth it anymore when you can live other places for less and get the same thing. I found that their contracts arent really honest. Some of us got screwed over in the middle of the semester when they told us that they no longer provided a cleaning service for our white glove and some of us really depend on them at the end of the semester. The WIFI only works half of the time and the plumbing is old and needs to be replaced. Prices are going up again and they will continue to go up because they continue to remodel. There never seems to be enough parking. The new assistant manager is super lazy when she comes around to do clean checks and she half way does them so you get marked off because she just doesnt want to look. The management is inconsistent. Ive lived here for 3 semesters and I am finally leaving this complex because I cant deal with it anymore.

I really like living at Heritage! The management is great and maintenance requests get fixed very quickly. Sometimes it does seem like we get charged or marked off for stupid things in clean checks and white glove but if you follow the instructions, you wont get charged. The in-apartment washer and dryer is great! Thr apartments are kind of cramped but thats what you get with a college apartment. The location is amazing! Literally right across the street from campus. But for spring semester if you want AC you have to pay $60 just for them to install it (you have to buy the actual $100+ unit yourself). So thats a bummer....

It was great when I lived there, dont get me wrong...oh except for the horrible plumbing (showers), constant renovation noise that I was not informed of when I signed a contract, unfair/unnecessary charges on our accounts, and a super lazy assistant manager that thank goodness came in right at the end of my stay here (the main manager and her husband are really awesome, no sarcasm at all, I really like them). Oh and to top it all off, I have been trying to get my deposit back since October 2014. It is now almost February 2015 and my check is nowhere to be seen. I was promised I could pick it up at the start of January and when I went in I would have to get it this week. I emailed today to see if I could get it so I can pay bills with it, and they sent it to my parents house in CA when I made arrangements to pick up from the office months ago. Do NOT rent here, its not worth the stress.

The reason I gave this apartment one star is solely because of the ward. Id give the ward four stars, but this apartment complex SUCKS! The manager and her assistant sucked on every single level. They were lazy and useless. The wifi is terrible and I called the wifi guy and spoke to the manager countless times and they never fixed it. If you ask me that is just poor customer service. We pay 1200 dollars for an apartment AND wifi! The plumbing was terrible. At least once every two weeks the toilet overflowed when no one was using it and as a result our apartments smelled like piss. The washer and dryer broke at least once a month and this complex has only one man for maintenance, and with all of the problems we had, Id think youd hire more. They take any chance they can to take your money. Concluding every white glove, they charged me for things that were clearly clean and was the same as I had left it. The only upside is its so close to campus. In my opinion, you can find a place for cheaper and two fridges as well. Their parking is ridiculously overpriced and the spots are so small, accidents and scratches happened all the time. Guys be wise and stay away from this place.

Love the people at Mtn. Pines! The wards are really great! Though if youre looking for a high quality apt. complex keep looking. The vacuums dont work (have to go to the manager to borrow one that does work) so there tends to be a huge buildup of hair in your carpet. Most of the apt. have outdated appliances (though some of them have 2 fridges, which is super nice), the water tastes weird because the plumbing is so old, the showers and sinks clog easily, basically its just an older place so expect older things and not brand new. But if youre willing to put with the little quirks the place has its in a great location (especially if all your classes are up in the Ricks) and as I said before, the people here are awesome!

I only lived at Heritage Apartments for one semester and I enjoyed my time. It was recommended to me by many of my friends. The location is perfect, it is so central to campus. It made my trek to campus pretty easy. The space and facilities were good. Andrea, the manager, is great. I had some things happen and she was great with it all. Of course nothing is perfect. The internet of course being number one the worst thing. However, you find ways to get around that. If you are in a back bedroom you just wont have very good internet period. But if you are in some of the front ones its better. Also doing any internet things in the living room is the best way to do it. The other thing is parking, theres simply not enough. Although thats a problem everywhere. You just learn to manage. Overall, I really liked heritage. If I hadnt gotten married I would have stayed there.
