I lived here for two semesters (fall/winter) and I honestly have no complaints. Management was super kind and would actively find solutions for anything that came up. Maintenance would always come ASAP after placing a work order. Even before fall semester ended management messaged me first about reserving a room for the next semester before vacancy ran out and I was able to keep the same room in the same apartment. Living here has been a great experience (also if you don’t have a car you are within walking distance of a lot of restaurants).

Here’s the bottom line. Milano Flats. It’s the place to live. If I was given an option to live anywhere else in the area, I wouldn’t take it. This is the greatest apartment complex to live at. Imagine becoming one with the earth. Feeling the warm soil on your feet and in between your toes. You are at peace. Tranquility comes upon you. You might enjoy a nice book on a Sunday afternoon, in your private room. No need to have an annoying roommate to play loud music or snore. You can be alone to be at one with yourself and nature. With this time to reflect on life, you seem to be ahead of your school studies, work, and social life. You’re thriving. This isn’t to mention the amenities you receive for just living in this amazing blessed land. Imagine spending your evenings in a hot tub. The jets going, spreading warmth on your sore muscles from the sets you did at the private gym you did earlier that day. You look around at all your friends, they’re playing music and you’re having a great time. Maybe later you’ll go play Billiards at the private pool table, located in the complex lounge. That’s not to mention you can reserve the same lounge to hold parties, get-togethers, bar mitzvahs, etc. Maybe you want to watch a movie at this same event, you can. There is a beautiful 4K display television for your use. But wait! There’s a full preparation area for food. Two door refrigerator with slide out the freezer, cabinets for storage, and the fanciest sink you’ve ever seen. Does someone have to run to the restroom? No need. There’s two directly located down the short hallway. You’re probably amazed at how your life has changed already but we’re just getting started. We haven’t even explored the rest of the lounge. Study room with free printing, tanning beds, free laundry room, and in the office happens to be the nicest management and staff you’ll ever meet. Helping find solutions to your problems. Have a maintenance issue, send it through the app. They’ll have someone up right away. Have a question their office is open at very convenient hours. Oh yeah, and there’s plenty of parking if you need a pass for your vehicle. Life is amazing. We haven’t even mentioned the apartments yet! Need food cold? Freezer. Need food slightly less cold? Fridge. Need water? Sink. Need to sit to watch the free Dish television provided? Couches. Need to do homework online? Free WiFi. Need somewhere to have dinner? Kitchen table. Dirty dishes? Dishwasher. Need to use the bathroom? We got two of them. Make your preference. Need to store something? Boom. Under the bed, in the hall closet, oh and there’s a pantry. Cold? Central heating. Hot? AC units. Like a breeze? Windows. Smell bad? Hot showers. Like to wash your hands? You can with the option of 4 sinks. That’s not to mention the amazing mirrors in the bathroom for staring at yourself. Or you could you use them to get ready. Whatever your preference. It’s the high life. When you’re thinking of living, think Malino Flats.

Ive lived here for 8 semesters now and have loved it. Once I came I was hooked and never wanted to leave. Management is the best!! Cami works extremely hard at her job and it shows. I have never had a bad experience with her and she really tries to help. All of the management team are so kind and are awesome to work with which always makes people feel comfortable. I absolutely love my ward and all of the people at the complex are amazing, I have made some of my best friends here. The location is very convenient and never takes me more than 10 or so minutes to get to class. The private rooms are super nice and if people put in the effort to be kind and reach out to each other, youll make friends and be close with people even though its private rooms. I think the price is fair for all that we have here (private rooms, hot tub, location, gym, printing, etc.) and compared to other places. The hot tub is a definite plus and is a lot of fun. The parking lot is nice and big, Ive never worried about finding a spot. I do homework in the study room a lot and the printing has been so helpful in my time here, all you have to do is provide the paper and that is way cheaper than anything.Theres little things here and there just like there are with anything in life, so not even close to changing my mind about Milano Flats. I would recommend living here to anyone! Im actually so sad to leave this semester because its been such a great experience.

The management is uncooperative and unhelpful. The maintenance team does not fix things very well or really know how to fix things. Management doesnt compromise on anything like payment schedules for rent or payment amounts even when they extra amenities being paid for are unavailable the whole semester - we were still required to pay the full amount. During the COVID-19 pandemic, they did nothing generous or helpful to let people out of their contracts. They gave expensive cancel or contract moving fees. They made no effort to compromise and threatened multiple times to put holds on my account or to send it to collections when I was trying to figure out and talk to them about a way to cancel my account seeing as how I couldnt use it during the pandemic. They didnt compromise and made excuses to get out of the extenuating circumstance clause in their contracts with residents. They are uncaring and inconsiderate during such a big time of crisis as this. I had to eventually go through my schools financial aid office to have them help me pay the cancel fee because we had no other options. I do not recommend staying here or dealing with the management. The price for rent is also way too high for the living situations and not worth the headache.

Where to even start? One of the selling points they use is fast and reliable internet. Ive never had such terrible wifi in my whole life. I can barely connect to my online classes half the time and my phone always gets kicked off the wifi. Theres no excuse for such terrible internet with how much they charge for rent. The clean checks are overkill. My apartment failed for having dust on the windowsill. They extorted me and my roommates for extra money because of it. The first time we failed I texted them back immediately to know what we needed to fix and they never responded until after failing us again the next day and charging us for itThe apartments look nice at first but whoever built them did a lazy job. Under the floor you can feel that they just put it down on top of the old tile. Paint chips off of the cupboards because they didnt sand before painting. My chair collapsed out from under me in the middle of one of my classes and they wouldnt give me a new chair. Instead they gave me another old and broken one.My roommate that has lived here for a year says this place has been going downhill since the manager, Cami left.

While these apartments look like a nice place to live, they were cheaply built and are poorly managed. Management is very friendly but will do little to go out of their way to help you as is common with most Student housing in Rexburg. When we reported that someone was smoking weed in a vehicle in the parking lot at 2 am with a description of the vehicle, management sent a text to the resident asking if they were, in fact, smoking weed. Of course, they said no. When appliances were replaced over spring break, this was intended to be done only over the break, however, 3 weeks later, we are still waiting on things to be replaced. There is no Air Conditioning, which makes living here during the spring and summer a nightmare as well. Upon moving here, I left for Christmas break and came back to find out that they had taken half of my things, shoved them in plastic bags, and put them in storage because they were not on my bed. (I had put them on my desk because I had other things on my bed) I had to try for a few days to get them to open up the storage so I could get my personal belongings back. They also would only come to open up the storage unit during office hours. I was student mentoring on Campus and was gone all day so I was unable to come during office hours. Eventually, I had to leave an event to be able to get my things. Very unprofessional management.

The apartments have private rooms which was awesome for when I wanted to get a lot of homework done at any time of the day or just wanted to be alone. The ward was awesome as well! I loved the bishopric, they were great about planning fun ward activities. Overall I had a good time living at Tuscany. I had lived at 4 other apartment complexes prior and none of them were as fun or homey as Tuscany. Also, don’t listen to the people that say that clean checks are strict. The management seemed to be very fair and understanding about it. Most places I lived made us clean once every two weeks and Tuscany only does once a month. Their white glove at the end of the semester is a little strict but that’s only because they want the new tenants coming in to have a clean apartment- which is something I really appreciated!

Maintenance is very quick to respond if you send in a request. The lounge is very nice and they host apartment complex activities there that are really fun!The wards also are really good here! The only downfall of the apartment complex is the limited amount of washer and dryers that they have, especially for a complex that hosts both guys and girls housing. So it can be a bit frustrating to walk down to the laundry room and see that all of the washers and dryers are full and then end up having to walk all the way back to the apartment to wait and try again.Other than that, this is a great apartment complex that I highly recommend to others who are considering staying here!

Review №46

Not the best and not the worst. The location of Milano Flats (Tuscany) is great for campus-life. They also have lots of parking space if you own a car, so you wont have to worry about finding parking. Though this is a private room apartment, the rooms are like broom closets, so it can get stuffy/crowded if you own a lot of things. They are also very limited on storage space, especially if you care about things looking nice in your apartment. If you come with for example, 5 luggages, then you will have to find a way to get creative and put them away. The pantry is crowded and the space design of the pantry makes it uncomfortable to store things in the back of the pantry. The kitchen is really crowded for six people to live together. There is only one fridge, so have fun getting your milks, eggs, butter and yogurts confused. The management has gone through quite the changes during my two years of living there. The first main manager was just straight up rude and sounded like she hates you. Cami and Brooklyn are very nice, considerate and workable with, so Im glad the apartment management team had them. The opt-out cleaning option was a nice addition to the end of each semester because who wants to clean during finals and travel plans, though that has been increasing in price. P.S. if you are going to hang things up on the wall with adhesives, good luck when you take them off because the paint on the walls will rip off with your adhesive wall-mounts, so there goes like $10 from your security deposit. Also, good freaking luck if your house cannot agree to the white glove opt-out. The management take the white gloves very seriously and strictly, and will check every corner, every crevice, every nook and cranny. The laundry room is not great because they have both the men and women use this room which can get really invasive if some person is really impatient or rude and just tosses your underwear and garments all over the place to use a machine. I wish there were two separate laundry rooms, so that women can get their own and men get their own. The ward for Miliano Flats has always been good, but there are better wards out there. There is a distinct difference in the attitude of the people in this private apartment complex ward and for wards who have people living in shared-room apartments. The tone and attitude of a ward is influenced by the people attending it, so if one semester there are a lot of sassy students, then enjoy having a sassy ward. Love the bishopric though.TL;DR-If you need a private room that is relatively close to campus and have some friends that can agree to live with you and Milano Flats prices, I recommend this apartment complex. *thumbs up*

The private rooms are nice, Ive never had any issues with the people or the management. They even went out of their way to remind about payments, future activities, and provided a nice temporary home for students at BYUI to live at. As long as you respect the property, and take care of your clean checks, you should be good to go. I do highly recommend opting out instead of doing white glove by yourself, they have higher standards for their apartments and like to make sure they keep this standard, which honestly is a good thing.

When I moved into the one and only renovated apartment I was expecting something amazing, I was wrong. First of all, my roommate received an email from management telling him he could move in up to a week early for the semester. When we showed up the day before move ins they wouldnt let him move in because they were still cleaning the apartment from renovations. When we moved in the next day there was construction dust everywhere. We had to sweep and clean the counters and doors to get all the dust off. The baseboards hadnt been lowered during the renovation so there was quite a bit of dust under those as well. I got back from class one day and slipped in the hallway because the pipes for the heated floor had begun leaking. We were told they were experimenting with our pipes to see how much water could be pushed through. As winter was approaching management emailed everyone saying they were going to be removing our window AC units so we wouldnt freeze. That took a month to do so we ended up freezing anyway. I had to take the unit out myself because it was so cold. Tuscany has one of the most ridiculous check out routines I have ever seen. My roommates and I all spent hours on our individual jobs making sure it looked perfect and we still got charged cleaning fees even though we left the apartment much better than we found it. If you enjoy staying calm and having a low blood pressure, DO NOT sign a contract with these people, they will make you want to rip your hair out!!!!

I’ve had an amazing experience here, the staff and the tenants are social and very friendly. The wards are great and the best part is that I have my own room. Maintenance requests have been completed usually within the day if not the next. I’d recommend living here to anyone.

Tuscanys one-man maintenance team, Nathan, is amazing! My work orders are always done super quickly. Honestly the best maintenance work Ive ever had while living in an apartment. Everything else is pretty good too. Management is really understanding as long as you take the time to communicate what is going on. Theres some construction going on with renovations which is kinda a pain sometimes. But it should look awesome once its done! I would defiantly come back.

I love living at Tuscany Apartments! My roommates have become my closest friends and the ward is filled with some of the best leaders BYUI has to offer. The management will help you with anything you need! They always plan fun activities for the complex every month and are very involved. Also the location is key! It only take 5 min to walk to campus!

Courtney and Erica are the best managers. Always doing things for the complex, appreciation week, give aways, just stopping by to say hi with pizza or cookies, they look for things to improve and they do them! I’ve been here for 2 years and felt like home highly suggest living here

The worst!!!! Dont live there!!! Try to take away all your refundable deposit when checking out. They make the check out white glove super super strict that you cant get back your deposit!!! Dont live there!! The worst choice that I have made in the year!!!Update: it was my first semester when I lived there. After living in so many other apartment complex. I would have to tell you this place is truly the worst!! So many other complexes are much better than this!To respond to the comment of the manager: my roommates and I spent the night to clean it! We did work on white gloves carefully, but they just really wanted our 💰 money!

Management was great to talk to about living here. I already feel comfortable. Honestly i have been reading the reviews and to be honest the negative reviews are coming from people who dont know how to clean and are picky. Having your own room is so worth it. Contact tuscany and they will help you out.

Great housing apartments! The new management has been a great team with helping out tennants. The single rooms is huge bonus, and its only about a 10 minute walk from Tuscany to campus (you can run there in 6 minutes if youre REALLY late--but well just pretend that were both good at time-management and stick to the nice calm walk) overall great housing apartments and I would definitely come back here for future semesters

I love living at Tuscany! The management is great & they take really good care of the residents. The price is also fairly inexpensive for the benefits, including private rooms. I have lived at multiple apartment complexes in rexburg & I think this is by far the best option!

Absolutely awful to their tenants during the global pandemic. Have been trying to extort huge amounts of money to allow them to leave and been hiring an aggressive attorney to attempt to enforce it. DO NOT SUPPORT THIS COMPLEX. Dont believe what they say. Would give zero stars if I could.

Been a legit experience staying here, management does a really good job at working with you and are super kind. Definitely a good place to live. Ive lived here every semester of college and dont want to move. The maintenance guy is really nice and gets stuff done when you ask and not three months later like most other complexes. Its legit.

I have lived in five different complexes in Rexburg and Tuscany is by far the most poorly ran. I want to be very clear to anyone considering moving here, the managements number one prior is making money and they do not care about their tenants. I have taken legitimate concerns up to regional management and they do not care either! It is a cultural problem. It is unfortunate that there is a shortage of housing with private bedrooms and so they are not afraid to lose some of their tenants because they are confident they can be replaced. This is why it is important to understand that Cami and the rest of management are terrible and careless.

Please dont moving here. I live there for over one year and the only thing I like in here is the private bedrooms. Living here during the summer time is the worst. The air conditioning is broken with no repairs. We submit a maintenance request and nobody show up.Before you move in, you need to take a lot of picture in the apartment to avoid fine and you need to do it every semester if you live here. If you miss one, they will charge you for that. They will charge you full price no matter what you clean. And they charge you every semester. If you talk will them about the charge, they will say they had hire some people to clean up, but they never did. I live here for one year and even the during the school break time and I only saw two time had people come to clean the apartment.

This is the best place to live in rexburg for a lot of reasons. management is really easy to work with, there’s a HOT TUB, private rooms for a really great price, & the apartments have a really great layout. there are a few that they’re renovating that are super nice with hardwood floors & the location is awesome. it’s not right on campus but it’s close enough to walk to wherever you need & there’s also a private gym & tanning rooms!! i’ve never had an issue with management or clean checks being too picky & i always feel comfortable sharing my concerns with the girls who work in the office. I love love love this complex.

This apartment complex has a great, friendly vibe to it. The office staff is polite and wants to make sure everyone has a good time. They just had a BBQ Bash and they handed out free prizes and food which was nice. They also gave out free pizza earlier in the semester! They also have hammocks in front of the building which are super nice.

Tuscany is the best apartment complex Ive stayed at yet! Its well-priced, has individual rooms and the girls are only a building away! Management is really good and very accommodating. It feels like Im a part of a true community here. When I first came to BYU-Idaho these were only girl apartments, yet with change in management and allowing guys apartments as well, this place has really improved. The managers are really good too and are willing to help in any way they can. I could really communicate with them and feel they treat me as a person and not just somebody they can get money from.

This used to be a 5 star review but has been recently revised. I have lived at Tuscany for several semesters now. There have been a lot of ups and downs. On-site management are very nice and friendly. Since Red Stone bought the apartments, however, rent has gone up without any improvement to the apartments, clean checks are now biweekly (they charge you if you dont pass), and look for anyway to squeeze more money out of you. The amenities are nice but not enough to out-weigh the rising rent prices. I guarantee the rent will continue to raise without improvements every semester. Red Stone as a whole are greedy and have hurt my experience here. I am really sad to be writing this since living here used to be great. I cant in good faith recommend living here without warning people of Red Stone and their predatory pricing practices.

I was a little skeptical about living here because of all of the negative reviews, but honestly I have been quite surprised by Tuscany/Milano Flats. Yes the rooms are smaller than I would have hoped for and there are not enough washers and dryers for all of the residents, but other than that, I have had no issues. Every time I have interacted with management, they have been nothing but kind and helpful to me, and every time I have had a maintenance issue it has been taken care of within 1 or 2 days of the request. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a more quiet apartment or private room.

Dang, I definitly love Milano Flats. We have an awesome group that work in the office. They are super nice and will come and help if you have a problem (like if you lock yourself out, etc.) (They also give out free candy). Its in a really good location to walk to Campus. Parking is pretty good, and the people here have been nice. Having my own room really helps me to have better study habbits. Overall its an awesome place to live. I have already signed up for next semester.

STAY SOMEWHERE ELSE! I feel like giving Tuscany 1 star is 1 star more than they deserve. For starters the staff is completely unreliable. Management assistance is nonexistent. We had several problems with our “newly renovated dorm.” If you like having pipes burst, your dishwasher break, and freezing to death this is 100% the place for you. Maintaince might get to your request, if you are lucky. Additionally if you have deep pockets and enjoy spending money on the hidden fees and always getting charged for cleaning checks no matter how hard you scrub, I’m sure they will be happy to accommodate. Moral of this review. LIVE ELSEWHERE. I’ve heard the Ridge has better everything while still offering private rooms.

I have been at Tuscany for two semesters now and plan to stay for at least one more. I student teach and graduate Winter semester 2018 and Im not sure if Ill stay in Rexburg for that, but if I do Ill stay at Tuscany still.Initially, it was an okay place to be. Its wonderful having a private bedroom and the apartments themselves look nice. Being just a block away from campus is nice, too. Even though Id prefer having a washer and dryer inside the apartment, laundry facilities are on site, theyre 24/7, and youre provided a laundry card that has unlimited uses. This semester (Spring 2017) has helped change my mind of it just being an okay place to a fun and relaxing place. Management has tried really hard to make things engaging and worthwhile, with recent renovations of the lounge and a hot tub being added currently. It is a bit pricey, but not much different than similar apartments, made more affordable by the fact that the similar apartments generally dont have private bedrooms like Tuscany does.Overall, if youre considering living at Tuscany, give it a shot -- itll surprise you.

My sister has spent a total of one semester here and I go over every once in a while to give her company. The apartments are very nice and they have great amenities. However when we pulled up to move in they did not give my sister her room when they had said they would. This meant that we she had to wait outside in the sun for several hours before she could finally get into her room. So there are definitely draw backs but all around great place to live
