After a terrible experience they have lost my business despite them being the closest post office to me. This morning I wanted to mail a package (a birthday gift for my grandmother), I also have a newborn so it was a big effort to wrap the gift, get myself and my baby ready, and pack into the car. I couldn’t find a close spot to park so I parked somewhat down the street. I unloaded my baby and package and walked in 100 degree heat to the front door. It was locked (Google showed they were open), a woman came out who I believe is the owner and she turned me away for not having an appointment. No one else was inside. She said to go to the post office downtown. I was absolutely defeated and actually could have cried. I’m not a dramatic person but having to carry a car seat back down the street in the heat and find a different shipping service and do it all over again was unreasonably difficult considering that she was right there and open.What really bothers me is that I ordered the gift for my grandma to come to my house so I could wrap it and include a card so it was more personal. But things like this is why people just choose to use Amazon, I could have just sent it directly to her with free shipping, a gift message, and plus they wrap it for you for a small fee. I’m a huge supporter of small businesses but Postal Depot displayed such appalling behavior. It goes beyond bad customer service but a disturbing display of the lack of human decency.
I’ve been a customer for several years now. Very professional, proficient, and excellent customer service. I’ve traveled and have had my mail forwarded as well. I don’t ever have to worry about my mail or packages getting stolen from my property. It’s very convenient not to have to change my address when or if I move.Thank you Postal Depot for a stellar experience.
Absolutely terrible customer service!I went in earlier today to purchase an envelope and send a letter. The older woman told me there was no time to send anything off for me because she had appointments coming in and that I needed an appointment to even be in the store. I wasnt aware you needed appointments at all....so I asked when that became a policy and she said back in October.OK, I get it, covid, precautions, I understand.She gave me attitude and told me theres nothing she can do for me because I dont have an appointment. She didnt even offer to set one up for me.What awful customer service, treating an unaware customer that way.There wasnt even anyone else in the entire store and my task would have taken less than 5min to complete.Ive used this store before, many times, and certainly wont be returning after this
The team at the Postal Depot is highly professional and exceptionally helpful. They have gone above and beyond to help me send a variety of packages throughout the world. This shop is a treasure!

I gave a call to know details about mailbox rentals. I dont know anything about mailbox rentals. I wanted to know simply rate, contract details, what I need to get one. I was told that a business box is more expensive than a personal box. Thats fine, but I wanted to know the difference. What makes a business box a business box? I am a sole proprietor with a home-based business but I do not separate my business mail from my personal mail. I did not know if there were extra services that came with business box rental. The worker seemed uninterested explaining the difference. I understand, Im ignorant. Never done it before. Im being charged extra for some reason.Then the worker said she had a customer. So that was my cue to not patronize your business (Im a customer) as my 3-minute inquiry was too laborious for you to wade through. Called Office Boss. She was more happy to explain.
With the demise of Kinkos/FedEx, its nice to have The Postal Depot in downtown to provide the vacuum left behind. I come here to drop off UPS, FedEx, mail and buy postage, and each time, Ive been helped by a friendly and helpful staff. No complaint, just glad to have this store here and will continue to patronize it for as long as possible.Side note - I like that the staff knows the names of their regular customers and vice versa!
I went in to mail ammunition through the mail and although its legal, they made a big deal about it. Then went on about how guns should be banned. I had to go back another time recently to mail certified mail and they made me complete all new Form 3811 cards stating the USPS refuses to use the ones I have because they are old. Yet, we use them every day at work with no issues. They also have political signs and wear political shirts, such as Bernie Sanders. I dont care who they vote for, but its pretty tacky to have it all over your business. The Ammo incident was a few years ago. Obviously, it was when Bernie Sanders was running for president. In regards to the guns, that certainly was a conversation held by myself, another patron and an employee wearing the Bernie Sanders shirt. I was not as involved as the male patron in that discussion and I left while they were still speaking about it. I would like to point out it was a civil discussion.
OMG. Talk about attitude. The lady I had the pleasure of talking with..... Well... Should we say......well lets not. But yes a total b word. Horrible customer service. Horrible. Well you wont be getting my business. Merry Christmas. Avoid this place.

Excellent service and convenient location. I just had a document notarized, a copy of the document made for me, copies of the certified mail barcode, everything I needed done easily and efficiently. Great customer service, excellent price. I will definitely be coming back!
I had to ship a bunch of stuff back to Ohio after a trade show. The Postal Depot made it easy. The counter helpers were very helpful and got us taken care of quickly. Plus, there was a super sweet pup which always raises the stock of a business.

Its like the Cheers of post offices! They are always super friendly and have my mail ready as soon as they see me. There is rarely a line and on the occassions when I have had to wait they always make sure to acknowledge me with a smile and a hello. Exceptional customer service and reasonable rates have kept me a customer for 3+ years.

The Website says 12 months free registered agent with rental of box. When I called they said, they arent accepting any new registered agents, but would rent a box. What is the point?When I pointed out it was on the website, the lady that answered just said, uh huh.
