Johnny was absolutely wonderful to work with! I acquired a unit at auction and he immediately reached out to coordinate the meeting shortly after I had the winning bid. He clearly explained the fees and we set a time to meet. When I arrived he explained everything perfectly to me about the process. He checked on me several times while I was clearing the unit. I observed him sweeping and cleaning other areas too. The facility closes the office at 5:30 p.m. I was so overly impressed that Johnny offered to stay the extra 15-20 minutes I ran over clearing the unit. I was also so impressed with the cleanliness of this facility and I actually look forward to bidding on the units here.I have not ever been disappointed. I highly recommend your facility and I appreciate the ease of doing business with you. Such incredible customer service!! I had a great experience with Johnny at Wrondel self storage. I had been moving things all morning long and then had a bad experience with my previous set up storage. After quickly finding they had a unit available I drove over. Johnny was very friendly and did a great job explaining all the rules of the storage without it seeming scripted. I would recommend this place especially with such a great manager.

This is my first time using storage unit. I chose Wrondel self storage because theyre the most rated company in Reno and I would say its worth it. The place is very clean, safe and secured. I booked my rent online and it was really easy to work on it. Johnny is very cheerful and helpful. He was very busy at that time but he really did his best to accommodate all the customers, he even gave me a discount for my next monthly payment.

The manager Johnnie was very nice and informative. I was looking for a storage due to my son passing away and I obtained all of his belongings. He showed me 2 different units for 2 prices and let me choose what I thought was best for the stuff I have to store. He then let me know the price and it was $25 less than the one on around the corner. Made my day a lot easier. Great prices and service!

I have had multiple storage units starting over 20 years ago and I know many people who have had and still have storage units. I have never had any issues with employees or storage security all these years. I have dealt with Johnny the manager for many years and today I worked with David and he went out of his way to help me as always. We got told the place closed at 7:30, the sign says the same. At 5:45 we tried to leave and were locked in... Being told that the place closed at 5:30 for anyone not connected to auto pay with a credit card only! Then we called and they wanted to grill us with security questions when we just wanted to leave! Absolutely obscured. Telling us if we couldnt answer everything perfectly our only way out was to call the fire department

A really great experience at every step of the storage process, Johnny and Wrondel Self Storage were awesome and super helpful! After I reserved my unit through their call center, the manager, Johnny, followed up with a direct phone call to go over details of the unit, answer any questions I had and schedule a time to sign paperwork.The unit ended up not working out for my needs, but again with really exceptional customer service, Johnny called partner storage locations trying to find a unit that would work and emailed the District Mgr to see if anything was available. Excellent to work with, super friendly, place is well maintained and secure - you cant go wrong here!

Johnny was the BEST - I strongly recommend renting from Wrondel whenever you need to rent. Easy, and helpful and competitive in pricing.

Honestly the place isnt in that great of a location, but it will work if you need storage. The access hours are only until 7:00 p.m. which doesnt help if you need it after those hours, but if you work nights they open at early hours of the morning, so it makes up for it if you work during the day, it probably will not work for you if you need to access your stuff after 7:00 p.m.

Great customer service. The place is a little cramped as far as driving and access. But the units are very clean and heavily monitored with cameras. Only thing I would want now is a bit later access lets say 10pm instead of 7:30pm.

I needed a storage in a short notice. I went to couple of other storage in the area and couldn’t find the manager. When I went to wrondel self storage, I was greeted by Johnny the manager. He was very polite and helpful. The storage is really clean and I will for sure give them my business again in the future.

Horrible customer service. Desk manager Johnny got extremely passive aggressive when I asked for clarification about access times. Do yourself a favor and avoid the headache.Update: 11.21.2020Called the customer service number given in the reply and they put me in touch with the district manager. Their response was the property is owned so the owner sets the access times and theres nothing we can do about that. This in no way address my concern which is that I was told one thing before paying for a unit and then I was treated like garbage after dishing out some cash. Thanks but no thanks. This place seems to be monitoring their online presence but they dont seem interested in actually doing anything about the terrible customer experience that they provide.

I did ample research before choosing Wrondel Self Storage and it paid off. Johnny was extremely knowledgeable when explaining the self-storage options and lease information. The facility is very clean and well-kept. It is comforting to know that my belongs are safe while still paying an affordable price!

After searching for storage in Reno for about 2 weeks, we were starting to lose hope that we would find an affordable yet reliable place to keep our things while being out of state. We called Johnny and he was very helpful assisting us in finding the right sized unit for a great price. After meeting him for a walk thru of the unit, we feel assured that our belongings will be safe. Johnny went above and beyond and is a great guy!

We have been storing our Burning Man gear at a Wrondel Self storage for 3 years. Firstly, the location is amazing. Its pretty much next to the airport but also on a major route into Reno so not too busy but super handy for everything you need. We stay locally, eat locally and shop and can also hire our van or car from this area. Secondly the actual facility is very well appointed. Each unit is at ground level, so you can drive right up, they have water and toilets available which makes our life so much easier. The staff are amazing and have really helped us on each visit. More than we have experienced elsewhere. They offer really good value storage units, lots of sizes and have everything you could need from a storage location. We would recommend Wrondel Self storage to any of my friends. Worth every penny

I can honestly say that Johnny was one of the most pleasant and professional people that I have worked with. He was on top of everything and found a unit that worked perfect for my needs. I would 100% recommend working with him.

The manager was extremely rude on several occasions. Getting assistance for a code was nearly impossible, couldnt even get help from customer support on the phone. Manager is hardly ever available to help. May be affordable, but not the service I will ever use again.

The whole experience has been quite streamlined. Booked over the phone with a professional customer service representative, they had me what I wanted in minutes.Upon my arrival I was greeted by Johnny the Facilities Manager with a positive attitude which in this day n age seems to be lacking. He was nice enough to escort me to my unit and explain the facility ground rules.Johnny also expressed any off hour issues that may awry, IE...me needing to get into my unit off the hours of storage unit hours which I thought was very accommodating.Keep in mind the customers storage unit hours are different then front desk operating hours. The hours I was given since I prepaid are 7days a week, 7:30 - 7:30...so a nice window for the customer.Thanks Again Wondel and Johnny.

Johnny provided me superior customer service! My apartment complex pushed my move in day by a full week and I thought I would have to pay another months rent in storage fees but he explained that he wouldnt be able to sleep knowing that he done that type a service to a customer. This place is fantastic. The prices are affordable and its located near the middle of town so its easy to get to no matter where youre coming from. The units themselves are obviously kept up and the entire property appears well looked after. A great experience from the start. I was having trouble finding a unit to begin with and hesitated on the neighborhood, however this place is gated, monitored,very clean, safe and well managed. I even got my first month free. When moving out of the unit, I needed to make several trips over the course of a month and each time, witnessed the management and staff, sweeping and cleaning empty units, making courtesy and reminder calls, etc., even offering dollies and straps to help load. Your belongings will be safe and in good hands here.

This has been amazing as we all fly in from different countries each year and are usually pretty exhausted. We are from the UK. We have had a storage unit here for 3 years now. We store everything for Burning Man and any USA camp trips that we make. Johnny is absolutely amazing, helpful and goes way beyond the call of duty to help you. I cant recommend this place highly enough!!! AMAZING!!!!!!

I really wanted to like this place. The staff (at least the old staff) seemed really burner-friendly and the prices were decent. Our camp would go to our unit from time to time to clean our stuff and get rid of old items, they allowed us to use their hose to wash stuff and dumpster for trash on site. However, when we checked out of our unit because we outgrew it, an angry manager called and said we shouldnt have been using their dumpster and because of that theyre not giving us our one month extra refund back. I guess policies change pretty drastically when they know theyre not earning money from you anymore. Oh well, on to the next!

The manager is very professional, friendly, and looks out for the customers. They Ofer free water to all customers. The storages are nice, and well maintained. The only suggestion I would have is to be open on Sundays, as the hours make it hRd for some one who works full time to get to the storage.
